Oh my God this place is incredible. I tried it for the first time on a Tuesday and I continued to come back for the next three days because I couldn't get enough! I brought my dad one time, and my husband another time. They were equally impressed. The noodles are fresh and taste fantastic. The texture of freshly made noodles is indescribable. The flavor of the Xian noodles is unlike anything I've tried before. Sweet like hoision sauce, but also slightly spicy. Truly delicious! Also, the lobster dumplings are quite delectable!

Best hand pull noodles in town. The location on 51st seems to be better. Open one in Westlake area or downtown please.

A small place close to Mueller Park. I liked the Tom Yum Chiken noodle soup, which had a very smoky and soft taste into it. My friend had lobster dumplings and liked it. It was a handy place and had a place for about 30 people.

I got the Dan Dan Noodles, which was a little soupy but I was expecting some sort of stir fry since this was under 'Dry Noodles' in the menu. It was very flavorful and tasted good. My friend got the Xian Noodles and she really loved it. We also got the fried spring rolls which has a vegetable filling. The vibe was lively, the service wasn't bad, and the price is excellent. Will definitely go back!

Good food at reasonable price. Extended happy hours on most week days. There was a bit of a wait when we went so keep that in mind when you go. Noodles were very tasty and well prepared. Sushi options weren't bad. Good appetizers. We had the Ramen and Dan Dan noodles. We selected a variety of sushi and starters from the happy hour menu. Overall, good experience.

The soup base is really good but the noodles are a little too soft to my liking. The appetizer spicy jelly with special peanut sauce (forgot the name of the dish) tasted wonderful! Highly recommended!

Ordered Dan Dan noodles to go, apparently the Dan Dan noodles here are different than what I’m used to, using sliced beef in broth. Maybe I just don’t know what Dan Dan noodles are, so I can get over the misunderstanding, but the noodles and veggies were cold, and the broth/beef was lukewarm, so once combined they were at room temperature with some cold spots. On top of that the beef looks like a cheap cut that was pretty tough. Overall flavor was okay but not a great experience. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt that this would be better if I hadn’t gotten it to-go, so that’s why I’m giving them 3 stars instead of 1 or 2. Regardless, I would advise against the Dan Dan noodles.

This restaurant offers quite a variety of dishes along with good food. The service leaves a lot to be desired, the server wasn't able to articulate the menu very or make any recommendations. Our server also left empty glasses at our table for far too long without asking if we needed a refill. It's a good restaurant, not a great one, I enjoyed my meal but it was a pain to order everything so the dining experience suffered.

I came here for dinner on a Sunday night. The space is hidden behind a wall so I initially thought this might only be a takeout restaurant. I was seated and wasn’t attended to for quite some time. I ordered the chili wontons, miso soup, coconut shrimp roll, salmon and tuna nigiri, avocado roll and beef hand pulled noodles. Other than the rolls I have to say that all lacked freshness. The chili wontons were very sweet despite being in chili oil and the nigiri was matte and lacked flavor. The rolls were quite good and the miso soup was average. Finally the beef hand pulled noodles lacked the freshness one would expect. It was quite busy and this might have contributed to slow service. I finished my water and it was not refilled for the majority of the meal. The experience here was lacking.

I hate to write a bad review but this needs to be said. I ate AYCE at Xian for the first (and last) time this weekend. Everything was going well at first, until a young woman behind us threw up chunky vomit all over the ground and her table. My fiancé watched her throw up the first time, I only heard it and then saw the evidence all over the seat and the ground. Then I looked over at her and watched her throw up all over their table. Now, obviously it is not the restaurant’s fault that this person threw up everywhere. However, they did not make a real effort to clean it up. The staff used paper napkins and tiny squares of washcloths to push the chunky vomit into a trash bag under their table, but did not disinfect the ground, seat, or table. We were gagging due to the smell of the vomit. I had to hold a handful of ginger to my nose to mask the vomit smell. Luckily we were at the end of our meal, but I had to request that they put a towel onto the ground that we could step on to avoid walking through vomit chunks and bringing that into our car and home on the bottoms of our shoes. I would expect a restaurant to train their employees on food safety and cleanliness standards. I don’t expect them to kick everyone out and deep clean the restaurant, but a mop and some disinfectant is the bare minimum. We will never come back here just based on the lack of cleanliness. We won’t even be ordered takeout because if that’s how the treat the seating area, what are the cleanliness standards in the kitchen? So incredibly disappointing and frankly disgusting.

Caution!!! I really like this place but I ordered Green beans and but into a metal staple. I have left multiple messages and no one bothered to return my messages

Was seated very quickly with a group of 4, people who work here are very kind and attentive. The food was definitely a 1 star though, sushi was fairly mediocre, ordered pork soup dumplings that arrived raw in the middle. It is unacceptable to serve guests raw pork. My friend found a very long hair in their chicken noodle soup as well, all in all very disappointing eating experience. The walls/floor under the table were dusty and obviously hadn’t been wiped in a while. Kind people and fair prices but you get what you pay for I guess. I wouldn’t recommend

The food was incredibly small for the price, and sub-par quality. I've never seen such small soup dumplings, that were tiny, tough, dry and tasteless. Awful, and the order only came with 3. Which is outrageous for the price...they were tiny. No sauce came with them so I had to add my own soy just for some moisture, they stuck to the tins they came in. And I got the pork buns, which were also small. It came with 2 and the cucumber slice (1 per bun) was bigger than the slice of pork in the bun. You can see in the pic that you can't even tell there is meat in there. I thought they forgot to put the filling in, it was just that small. What a let-down. Do yourself a favor and go to Julie's noodles for much much better dumplings!!
