I just remember this pizza being bomb. NY born and raised so you know I've tried alot but this one I still have in my mind of being so good in 2021. When I'm in this area I will have to see if it still that good
I’m extremely picky I hate most foods, pizza I won’t eat unless it’s sturdy and tastey, let me tell you this pizza has the PERFECT CRUNCH PERFECT CHEESINESS IT NEVER DISSAPOINTS THEY GOT THE BEST PIZZA NYC
Ordered from this place via uber eats. Never had the pizza before… omg so delicious. Got a plain cheese pie and the Sofia Loren pie. We order lightly cooked so it doesn’t get hard when we need to reheat or have leftovers. It was perfect, the flavor, perfect amount of cheese and sauce. The Sofia Loren pie was so good, different, fresh tomato, plus looked like crushed plum tomato, fresh mozzarella and basil and garlic, my husband and I devoured it! Will order again! Thank you! 😋
Greatest pizza I ever had I recommend this place to everyone
The food is absolutely delicious every bite feels like it was made with love. But what really makes this spot special is the team behind the counter. The guys working here, from the cooks to the owners, are just top-notch. Always friendly, always on point. That kind of service is rare these days. If you’re looking for a great slice, al-dente pasta, or just a place where you feel welcome every time, this is it. Best pizzeria in Sheepshead.
This has to be the best pizza place in Olive Brooklyn. The people are amazing. The places is clean, welcoming, and inviting the pizza is out of this world. Every single person that I have put onto this pizza has came back from more there’s times where we literally dream of this pizza thank you guys you are amazing.
Definitely the best pizzas I've ever had, and their recent rework in the sitting area makes it even better. Guys are very patient and great attitude. Favorite pizza would be the Pasta pizza, not many offer it in the city and if they do, it ain't as good as theirs. Price is reasonable and selection is good, plus they also have a large variety for food.
Great pizza RIDA. Quick and tasty. Right by the train.
A lovely pizzeria nearby, perfect for a quick bite or takeout. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I visited on a Saturday evening, and while the selection was somewhat limited, I received my order promptly. While I wasn’t particularly fond of the vegetable pizza—though the ingredients were fresh—my second slice was absolutely fantastic. A great spot for a casual meal!
It's alright pizza but not the best option in the area.
Food: I’ve only ever eaten the pizza and the garlic knots, but I have to say both are very good. However, there can be a little bit of inconsistency with the slices from week to week; for example, the two regular slices I ordered tonight were thin and much greasier than normal. Regardless, the food has been great probably 9/10 times. Service: The staff aren’t very attentive or friendly. The Albanian cashier (he might be the manager, I’m not sure) randomly started talking to me about how hot my sister is (“She’s the hottest girl in Sheepshead Bay.”). I thought it was very inappropriate of him to say, but some of the other staff was laughing along, so I figured I’d try to let it go and play along. I jokingly flipped my hair and replied, “Besides me!”, and instead of laughing or even staying silent, his smile dropped and he said, “No, not you.” I was giving him the benefit of the doubt for having an inappropriate conversation with me about my sister, telling myself “boys will be boys,” but then he had to go and insult me. It was a childish encounter and I don’t believe he has the maturity to work a job like his. Atmosphere: The music is at a good volume, and the back area is very, very spacious. You will always find somewhere to sit, whether to dine in or wait for your order. However, the one negative I see in terms of the environment is that the bathroom could be cleaner. It is a restaurant, after all — bad hygiene has no business in a place where people eat. Price: The prices are neither here nor there. I usually pay 12-13 dollars for two slices and a drink, sometimes closer to 15 if I get toppings. Being that NYC used to be a place where you could get that same meal for $5, these prices do disappoint me, but it would be unfair for me to judge La Casa Mia by outdated standards. For the current economic climate, their prices are fair — but definitely not a bargain by any means.
I was starving after a doctor's appointment and ventured into La Casa Mia Pizzeria. I was greeted immediately before I had a chance to process the menu (that's how attentive the staff is!). The inside is casual with a spacious back area. It was very relaxed with many people hanging out and talking while eating or post-meal. I looked around and some pieces, and some did look fresher than others. I ordered a margarita slice with tomato, a pepperoni slice (which was made fresh), and a ginger ale. The gentleman who helped me was very nice and through! The Total for these 3 was $12.57. Sitting down the tables were clean and there was a playlist going with Latin music which the volume wasn't overbearing. I just wished they had more napkin dispensers available. Between the two slices, the pepperoni grabbed my attention. I was a bit perplexed if I was going to like it but I liked it way more than I thought. It wasn't too crunchy and the sauce-to-cheese ratio was decent. The margarita slice, however, I wasn't a fan of. I'm not too sure if it was the cheese or the tomato, but it just wasn't a fan. In all, I would come back to grab a slice of the pepperoni if I'm in the area. I am also curious about their pasta slice, it seemed like a fan favorite! Thank you for having me!
The food is very good but the owner is weird. I’ve heard from females that the owner looks at them like a creep and treats them better than others. He watches females walk down the street and then talks to his other co walkers in another language, probably saying disgusting things about them. He’s not very nice to other people besides young females.
expensive pizza and very dry it feels like they sold yesterday's
I walked in to get a slice of pizza and the worker behind the counter was absolutely rude. The pizza was also disgusting and disappointing. As the worker handed me my order he shoved it in my hand. This place will never get my service again due to their lack of basic customer service.
Not only is this over priced, the pizza is absolutely horrid. Bought a slice. They put it in the oven for five minutes. It still was cold. The look of the pizza is genuinely unappetizing. I sat there and didn't even finish the slice, I was so disgusted. Would not recommend this place. $5.25 for one slice. In Manhattan I can get a really good slice for less.
Appalling Service and Unacceptable Environment I recently visited La Casa Mia and was thoroughly disappointed by the experience. Albanian guy working there (presumably the owner/manager) was shockingly rude and arrogant. When I attempted to pay for my pizza, the guy behind the counter seemed completely uninterested in helping me. Instead of proceeding my order’s payment, he started doing other tasks, clearly expecting me to wait longer. When I politely asked him to expedite the payment process, he became dismissive and hostile. The condition of the restaurant was equally disturbing. The floors were sticky, counters dirty, and tables unkempt. Trash was scattered around the dining area, and the air reeked of grease and stagnation. It's clear they don't prioritize cleanliness. The combination of terrible service and disgusting environment made for a truly unacceptable experience. I've never felt so disrespected at a restaurant before. I have been buying pizza at Delmar for the last 10 years and nothing like this. Stuff always nice and they do a great service. My recommendations for the manager/owner: 1. Replace rude staff with customer-focused personnel. 2. Prioritize cleanliness and sanitation. 3. Improve efficiency and attentiveness during payment process. We will not return!
