Izakaya Sushi is a cozy spot with super fresh rolls, great flavors, and really friendly service. The portions are perfect, the ambiance is chill, and everything tastes clean and delicious. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

Keep meaning to leave this place a review. Ordered from them for the first time this past weekend for a birthday party. Placed a 4 party tray order (and some sashimi boxes) not one roll out of place. Phenomenal place. Sushi fresh and delicious. Beautifully made. The delivery person was ON THE DOT for the time I indicated for delivery. They even called me to confirm something when they had a question (instead of just trying to wing it). They honored all my special requests and honestly cant say enough nice stuff about this place. Will 1000% order again and this will be my go to for my parties going forward. Not sure if i mentioned but sushi was amazing all guests loved every bite, not one piece left. Thank you Izakaya!

Before you even eat, the atmosphere and design is great, and it sets the tone for the quality of the restaurant as a whole. The service was top notch, and they took good care us and made sure we were happy, which we definitely were once the food came out. If everything else wasn’t enough to convince you to come here, the food will be. 10/10

Fresh sushi and sashimi that were surprisingly good. The wait staff were welcoming and attentive. Oysters that I ordered were good but would love to see just oysters and no soy sauce. The vibes were great and had a nice lunch!

The restaurant is located in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. Soups, salads, appetizers, noodles, sushi, entrees, desserts and beverages are available. During my order I was able to receive a discount from an offer attached to the menu. I ordered the Izakaya pizza appetizer which consisted of a pancake with spicy salmon and special sauce. The yuzu honey salmon entree with a side salad included asparagus and zucchini in a honey miso sauce. The sushi platter entree consisted of nine pieces of sushi and one spicy tuna roll. The food was well-prepared, tasty and fresh.

A cozy and atmospheric place! The sushi rolls and oysters are fresh and absolutely delicious — they melt in your mouth. The mojito is perfectly balanced: refreshing and not too sweet. The service is top-notch — fast and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Amazing place with amazing sushi awesome sake and beer. The service is amazing. Loved every minute of being there. Also love oysters that they serve. I ordered a dozen but easily could have ordered more. The sake is awesome I included a picture and it was cold sake. Also one of the great beers from Japan I tried and was awesome. Definitely a place worth coming for. These pictures are from two visits One of the visits was for lunch time.

This place became one of our go to spots here in the sheepshead bay area. One day we stumbled upon this place looking for something new, and we came here to Izakaya and fell in love every since. Been here 7 times in the last couple of months 🙌🏽. Best appetizer, is the Fried Oysters, sushi is great, all entrees are great! I recommend King of the Sea & Surf & Turf.

Upon entering the decor is amazing, you feel warm and relaxed. The music is great. The service best I have received in the longest time. The food is spectacular! Super accommodating for food allergies!! It was a Rainy Sunday and one of the staff offered an umbrella for us to make it back to the car! Where else do you get treatment like that locally here in Brooklyn! Overall a wonderful experience and would most definitely return for more!

I have been here a several times, good was very good, reasonable price, service was lovely. How ever there bathroom was sometimes not in a good shape, sometimes, the smells was not quite good or there are toilet paper all around the bathroom floor. But besides that, everything else was still good, still recommend.
