I’m ordering from Taste of Italy for the umpteenth time over the years, and I finally decided to write a review... This place is an authentic and excellent mom-and-pop Italian restaurant. This is not where you go if you want a Michelin star meal, but this is where you go when you want to spend a reasonable amount of money and get large portions of rich, delicious food. I make sure to stop by every time I come back to town.
Five Stars all the way! This place is WONDERFUL! The food was incredible. I had the Lasagna and it was the best Lasagna that I've had (at a restaurant) in a very long time. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, accurate, attentive and accommodating. They are easily visible off the very busy Boat Club Rd. just South of Lake Country Estates. I highly recommend!
Pizza was good and cashiers were so nice. The wings were kinda tiny and they can definitely use some more sauce. We used a coupon they gave out at my kids school which should be more specific for the people out their that try to fight the whole on per transaction part. Like come on they were nice to give out coupons get over it
Italian food crafted with love! These guys accommodated a large group and handled it very well. Staff was so friendly and helpful, giving suggestions and bringing things to try. I can't praise the lasagna with pink sauce enough! Tried the calamari and the breading wasn't overly heavy, light and flaky and absolutely not rubbery. Great job staff I will be happy to come back!
This locally owned Italian eatery is a diamond in the rough. It's not fancy, but homey and welcoming. The pizza is thin crust and chewy, more like a New York style pizza. The flavors are fresh and delicious. The antipasto salad is lively with ham and cheese rolled into tasty spirals. The greens are crisp and the Italian dressing, a blend of vinegar, oil, and herbs, is perfect. It's BYOB. Check it out. You'll be happy you did.
WOW. That was unexpected. I mean REALLY unexpected. I heard from a neighbor that this place was good but driving past this place everyday I had my doubts. It's a no frills looking kind of place inside and out. But boy can they cook. Being from Philadelphia originally I consider myself a spoiled brat when it comes to good Italian but let me tell you right now...Never in my life have I had a Chicken Alfredo this good. I DON'T EVEN LIKE ALFREDO. I never order it, ever. But everything on the menu sounded so good and after about 15 minutes of not being able to decide I took the waiters suggestion and got the Alfredo. I am so happy I did. The sauce was phenomenal, the chicken was fresh perfectly seasoned with the most beautiful grill marks I have ever seen. The Caesar salad was amazing too. I think they put a little sugar in their dressing and it made my day. I'm going to have to eat here once a week from now on, until I die. If I ever find myself in a situation where a last meal is required. This place will be making it. If the chef is single I may have to marry him because...WOW. Thanks you guys. <3
Absolutely WONDERFUL experience ordering from here tonight! Small gluten free menu, which you don't get from most authentic Italian restaurants... the food is plentiful and DELICIOUS! It arrived very quickly and they called to be sure I was aware of a special request that was slightly modified beforehand, etc. My out of town guests were very happy and we will certainly order again once they're gone.
Last week I was delivering for a client who ordered from Taste of Italy. This was the first time I've ever been in the area, and being from New Jersey and having eaten some of the best Italian food, I expected things to be standard. I'm not one to really order Italian here in Texas because I am always striving for that New Jersey taste. As I went through the drive through, they told me that I would have to wait shortly because a small mistake was made. The chef explained that he cooked a different meal by accident and that's why I had to wait unfortunately. He then told me it was seafood (my favorite) and that he'd like to give it to me. I have to tell you, There was a Brazilian place I went to in New Jersey a long time ago that made me taste love in every single bite. I felt that same exact feeling in each and every bite here at Taste of Italy. I will certainly be going back for the love! I honestly can't thank you enough for giving me a special bit of home.
Best pla e for Italian! Great service ! 10 stars!
This establishment, quite literally, had the best service & staff of any restaurant I’ve been to in my life - bar none. I’ve been all over the place - from New York, Chicago & California, to Virginia, Florida & Louisiana, and even Mexico & Israel - I have never encountered as wonderful staff as here at Taste of Italy. Their service is beyond exceptional & I wish I could give it six stars if I could. Of course, the food is 5-stars, as well. True Italian food that will never disappoint. Anything from Pizza to one of their delicate dishes, you will be satisfied. Very reasonably priced, as well. HIGHLY recommended! Bring your own wine free of charge, as well!
Can I give them 6 stars? Got take out for my family on Friday night. I knew picking up the food that it would be great. The owner/chef was in the open kitchen giving some passionate instructions to a worker in Italian. You could hear the passion for the food in his voice. He wants it to be right, so my expectations were high. We got it home and dug in. After one bite this is my new favorite resturant. We will be back, and soon.
Jeff is the best Italian cook around ,, great staff always makes me feel welcomed,,, Byob
Great food, large portions and good value.
I have been going here for years and years. I absolutely love it. I've never had bad service and I've never had a bad meal. You can bring your own bottle of wine so you can have as many glasses as you want. I knowhat and it's much cheaper to go out to dinner when you bring your own wine or beer alcohol of any kind.
We were lucky enough to have the steak dinner (16oz) special. It was charcoal cooked as ordered for medium well. Family also enjoyed the chicken/ sausage with pasta and the chicken Alfredo with mushrooms. We knew the pizza was great but we've been gone to long from the dining room. BYOB
It was a real delight. Everyone is always so polite and cheerful. The food was served hot and delicious. We were able to bring our own wine which added to our experience. They had really nice music playing too. I will definitely look forward to our next visit.
First time to try this fantastic place. Food was exceptional and the service was outstanding. Thank you Tanner. Very attentive and professional especially because the place was packed and you were the only server. Will return for sure.
I ate here with my family on 3-17-23. I was the happiest I've been in a long time. They had faint Italian music playing in the background, which have me nostalgia of eating at restaurants with my family when I was younger. I got the rack of lamb special with pan friend onions, potatoes, and baby carrots. This was the greatest thing I've ever eaten. I almost cried it was so delicious. This place has the best calamari and fried mushrooms. We have decided to come back as much as possible every week, and try everything on the menu. This is a much try. You owe your taste buds. The leftovers were gone the next day.
We eat here every Tuesday night. Authentic Italian food by authentic Italian chef who takes great pride in his craft. BYOB.
The service was phenomenal, AJ was beyond polite, courteous, and ensured we were well taken care of during the entire experience. The food was spectacular! I have not had Manicotti so delicious in many, many years! I highly recommend and we will be returning as regular patrons!
My family and I absolutely love ordering from here, and for the first time over the weekend actually ate at the restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, weather you dine in or order out. Food stays fresh and hot for a long time!
Our meal here was delicious! Can't believe I didn't hear about this restaurant sooner, and will definitely be back. Everything was super fresh and cooked well. I tried the gluten free pasta and it was fantastic (I would guess it probably wouldn't be suitable for someone with Celiac disease but for someone who is just gluten intolerant like me it was perfect). My husband had the cannelloni and he loved it. Also the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Loved it!
Appetizers were incredible. The Mediterranean salads with added grilled chicken & grilled shrimp were exquisite. And the lemon cake for desert brought a tear to our eyes! 11/10 highly recommend.
Excellent service, food was fresh and hot. No complaints at all.
Our waiter AJ was remarkable! He was very attentive- came to refill drinks, ask if we needed anything, and just to check on us. He was kind & polite & really friendly. I’d recommend you request AJ as your waiter when you visit this amazing restaurant.
When I walked in, the staff was ready to lock up and the kitchen had obviously been cleaned but they still had prepped my food and treated it like l was walking in at open. Incredible food. Unbelievable service. We dine in and feel welcome with our little kiddos (>3yrs). And they have options for gluten free! Support local and these guys are BYOB! We love this place and my family loves this place. It makes sense why so many of our neighbors give them business because they provide incredible and delicious food every time with such generosity and rapidity; forget Olive Garden, order here instead! - Proud Saginaw local
Love it. Love the staff. The food is amazing. Highly recommend
It’s rare to find an Italian restaurant that can do it all . I’ve become a regular here and it never disappointment . Reasonable pricing and generous portions . I always have left overs for the next day ! Dine service has always been great .
We have gone here for years since moving to Ft. Worth in 2012. Our whole family loves the food, never had anything we didn't like yet:) The staff has always been gracious and welcoming. It is hard to find a good Italian restaurant and I feel lucky that we did and so close to home besides! Updated 10/26/23: As mentioned in my initial review this place has good Italian and our family has been eating here since 2012. Over the years between my husband and I and our daughter and her family we have spent a lot of money here both dine in and take out. I took an elderly friend of mine here to have lunch and when she went to order she asked if she could get a child's menu item since she cannot eat that much anymore at her age. Our waitress said they don't allow that and was actually pretty rude about it. My friend then asked what kind of soup they had and again the answer was very curt. I then asked my friend if she wanted to go elsewhere since their customer service seems to have been non existent. Like I said we have eaten here a lot and after the experience today I feel we will need to look elsewhere for good Italian now. Reviews can make or break anyplace today and with so many choices to eat at why wouldn't they give good customer service to someone? All the servers we had in the past had been very efficient and courteous, until this woman.
The Mediterranean salad is unbelievable!! The fresh field greens, the homemade dressing, the incredibly fresh feta cheese... There is a gluten free menu for both pizza with toppings and a ziti pasta dish which I ordered. It was outstanding. Tender delicious chicken, tender sauteed veggies... MARVELOUS! BRAVO Taste of Italy
We absolutely love this place!! Seriously good food and always a great staff. We have even been here an hour to close (it was not intentional, just lost track of time) and they still smiled and didn't make us feel like we were causing any hold up to closing, like so many other places will do. We love it here and hopefully other people will too.
Never been disappointed!!! Pizza and pasta are all amazing!!!! And Oh!!!! the Chocolate cake is a must!!!
This was the Tonys specialty pizza. It was so very delicious. It was even good warmed up as leftovers. I also had the Minestrone soup as an appetizer. I bought another bowl to bring home. Delicious. My husband had the Ceasars Salad. The lettuce was fresh and crispy. A generous portion. Free bruschetta with the meal. Indoor seating safety. We were all very far from each other. And they cleaned extensively after a table was cleared.
We eat here at least 1x a week & absolutely love the food!! All the wait staff is super hospitable & attentive!! 10stars in my book!!
Simple pizza but can actually taste the deliciousness of the sauce! Haven’t been to a great Italian restaurant in a long time! They just gained customers for life!
Don’t let the outside fool you- the food and service is fantastic. We recently moved nearby and stumbled upon this place. The portions were larger than expected and the pasta dishes were flavorful. I highly recommend.
Stopped in yesterday while out dodging traffic for an early dinner. I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich and let me tell you. It was awesome, that bread was perfect. Every ingredient tasted so fresh. Well done Taste of Italy.
I've been eating here for 25+ years. It's by far the best Italian restaurant in Tarrant County (Ft Worth Texas). Their food is ALWAYS good. Food seems a bit pricey, but the trade-off is LOTS OF FOOD. You're going to get minimum 2-day amount of food. They grow their own tomatoes and peppers to use in their meals. I suggest any of the food on the menu. 😁☺️👍🏻
My Husband and I absolutely LOVE this cute restaurant!! We come here AT LEAST once a week, the food is fresh and delicious, I am never afraid to try something new because I know it will be delicious every single time. All the servers are absolutely amazing and Kind!! We have also been brought free desert twice! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!
I had a take out order. A.J. was great to talk to as they were finishing up. The atmosphere was nice. The pasta was excellent. We will definitely be repeat customers.
Love the pizza here. Best we've found in the area. They also have a drive thru for picking up orders, which is a big help with kids in the car.
Finally tried this restaurant after passing by it daily for a few years. I’m so mad that I waited so long. The customer service was absolutely amazing. I didn’t catch the young man’s name but he definitely made the dining experience much more enjoyable. The food was amazing. We went during lunch and ordered lasagna. The lunch portions were huge. Needless to say, I’m returning soon.
We stopped at this place on a whim because my girlfriend was hungry and needed to use a restroom somewhere. I looked up local restaurants and it was mostly fast food or a bar that I’ve been to before called the Eagles Nest. We decided to order the Tortellini Alfredo which was so good that I finished most of it before I even got to take a picture, along with Fried cheese sticks, garlic bread, and pasta fazioul soup, for appetizers. We also got the lemon cake for dessert which was excellent. Would definitely recommend this place, plus it’s also BYOB!
It was our first time visiting Taste of Italy but for sure not the last one. We started with mushrooms and garlic bread and had pasta - angel hair with meatballs and baked ziti - as mains. Everything we tried was good and the portions were generous! The waiters were attentive and had some great recommendations!
Delicious food amazing waitresses sit out on the patio area if you can. It’s a quaint little area to sit and watch the people while you enjoy pizza and pasta. Here’s a little tip. If you eat at this restaurant, they will allow you to have free parking right next to it. Otherwise you’ll have to pay to park and parking is very hard to come by in the area.
The service was excellent! The food was delicious all accept the fried mushrooms which were a bit mushy. But even though we didn't like the mushrooms they still get five stars because everything else was delicious and the service was excellent. My family and I will definitely go back again. I wish I would have got some pictures of the food because it looked as good as it tasted!
Very nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and authentic. I give 4 stars because the wait was pretty long and the menu wasn't self explanatory. We ordered plates that were supposed to come with bread and when we asked about our bread the waitress said we were supposed to ask for it. Not a big deal, just not clearly stated in the menu.
There are not a lot of Italian places that are this good in the Fort Worth area. The house salad dressing is delicious!!! Try a steak Marsala. Yum! We love the wait staff here as well. I’m a huge fan of their baked ziti! They always take care of us. *we own a burger and Philly restaurant on 377 and we believe in supporting locally owned restaurants and businesses. It helps our community and our economy!
Service was fabulous! Atmosphere = disappointing. The building obviously used to be an old “fast food restaurant” that they purchased and have tried to make into a somewhat “nice dining” experience. It needs more work… dim the lights, put in new flooring, add table cloths, etc. It’s a little confusing because food and service were good, but we felt like we were sitting in a Wendy’s. Chicken parmesan = Not great/just ok. Very disappointed because other reviews raved for this. Chicken dry, no flavor of Parmesan on crust, and soggy. Chicken Parmesan should have a crispy, flavorful Parmesan crust. Sauce was good though. Garlic bread w/ cheese=Amazing! Lasagna=Amazing! Fettuccine Alfredo=Amazing! House salad dressing=Amazing! Food and sauces are obviously cooked fresh. We would recommend eating here if you love Italian and we will go back again to try other dishes.
Fantastic food, fantastic service. A true gem. Don't let the outside deter you. A must try.
Thick dough for Neapolitan pizza in my opinion. Marinara sauce is average. Great pizza size though 👍 only had pizza didn’t try other dishes. Would give it another chance
If you LOVE PASTA, and a restaurant where you can “bring your own wine”-, this is the place for you! The customer service is wonderful, and the food is original. Definitely true to its Italian Roots! To my family, this establishment tastes better than ‘Olive Garden’. It is a family- friendly environment, with a cozy like setting. The price per person is around $20-$30, but again, it’s ‘worth it’. It is also a welcoming cultural environment, that isn’t nosey or loud, but a calming atmosphere for your family and friends to enjoy (relaxing vibes to catch up and have good laughs). We love their Chicken Parmesan, and their Shrimp Alfredo. The bread is fresh too! The salad is plain, but the pasta overshadows that. I wholeheartedly say try this restaurant for yourself, because I don’t believe you will be disappointed at all!
I got the pasta salad and it was good! ($11 but an extra $7 for added chicken) Soup changes everyday but the Lobster Bisque was great. Large portions but understand there is a $4 fee for plate sharing. Service is always quick too! They are currently short on staff so they are serving a limited menu. Go support this local business!
Food is okay not my favorite Italian spot but it is close to home and you can bring your own booze. We had three people help us on my last visit so I'm not really sure who my server was but the blonde and the guy with glasses were awesome. The dark hair lady who took our drink order didn't ask if we wanted a drink for our 3 year old...
The food was ok. Nothing special, but your typical American Italian food you find everywhere. I was a little shocked when I said I wasn't going to order a meal as I wasn't hungry yet, but I said i would have some of my husband's if I wanted. They informed me they were charging me a splitting fee. I did not want it split, I had no intention of eating half. I understand charging if you actually split up a portion onto two plates, but I had said I did not want it split, and I didn't need a plate. It ticked off my husband, so he told them to bring a plate. He did it on principle since they were charging, and then they were going to have an extra dish to wash. I put 1 bite of food on it. 1. We dine out a LOT, and we always share a portion since I am not a big eater. If I asked for my meal to be split, then I expect a charge, but if I'm only going to steal a bite or two, it is absurd to charge me to do so. They do not serve wine, so if you enjoy a glass with your pasta, too bad. We will not be back. I can get average food with better service anywhere. To be fair, our waiter was good. He made it clear it was house policy, so I would not fault him. The issue is poor management.
Apps were good, fried ravioli and garlic cheese bread highlights. Entrees were well below par, salmon piccata special was not special. Overcooked grayish salmon for $27 was gross. Eggplant rollentini was likely a frozen item reheated. Probably won't go back unless it's to try pizza. Wanted to like this but wasn't impressed. Service was good.
A long review, but you will not regret reading it. The food here is always very flavorful, fresh, and served hot, but service is lacking horribly. Servers always check on you, but you will almost always experience a cold touch to your service. Their manner is always reserved, catch a smile if you can, and don't expect any conversation. I have been to this restaurant over several occasions and can not say any differently. At my last visit, an incident made me and my family sadly make the decision to never return. One of my family members wasn't very hungry and mentioned to the server that she would just eat a few bites from one of our plates. Upon receiving our bill, my family member noticed she was being charged an $8 fee for "splitting a plate." We were all confused because there was no plate split equally, an extra plate given, or anything suggestion of a "split plate." When we inquired about the charge, our server became aggressive, stern, and annoyed, stating that because she had a few bites (on a bread plate to mention), she split anothers order, and it stated on the menu that spiltting a plate was an additional charge. My family member mentioned all the above, but the female server did not budge or accommodate. Instead, she continued to be annoyed and took our payment. I understand that separate small print fees apply for some things, but $8 and this circumstance is absolutely unexceptable. Again, I will say food is great, but unfortunately, that type of service is unexceptable when trying to maintain a strong business that people enjoy returning to.
First time here. It wasn't bad. Our issue was mainly with service and dirty dishes. The cups were just gross. Tbh we paid more here than we have at Olive Garden and they use glassware. The plastic cups had some kind of white residue and looked like they're 20 yrs old. The "tiramisu" is also more expensive here than OG . It's a plastic cup of custard that looks like something from McDs and wasn't good. Pizza was thin, tough and chewy? Definitely Frozen dough. The veal Marsala , was rubbery meat witha cream of mushroom sauce. Not Marsala. We were nothing but polite to our server, despite her " I wish I was anywhere else" demeanor. She never smiled , seemed annoyed she had customers. The table next to us were commenting about similar issues and the fact they had been 20 minutes without being offended refills for their empty glasses. There were lots of empty tables ,so not so busy to justify the delay of service. We try really hard not to be critical, especially of wait staff, but I do hope the management here monitors them a bit better and please buy new glasses. Our tab for pizza and 2 entrees was over $120. No alcohol.
Service was amazing but the chicken Alfredo was bland and the sauce was to thick and the calzone was so hard and crispy and the inside was Luke warm it made it unenjoyable
First timer, food looked great online. Ordered baked ziti with eggplant and a meatball /sausage pasta. The baked ziti had ZERO eggplant.. was disappointed with that but the food was really a taste of Italy. Husband mentioned too much sausage in the dish and 3 small meatballs. Would have preferred a little more meatball. Food was authentic and delicious. Want to come back , hopefully the order will come as ordered. Check this place out.
My chicken parmesan was yummy, my daughter's alfredo was delish, my hubby loved his stromboli, and they were happy to accommodate my 5yo's request for a ham and cheese sandwich 🤦🤣 it was massive, they brought him an extra bag of chips for being patient, too - so kind of them. Our waiter was fantastic, poor guy was all alone handling all the tables and it was swamped for a Monday night. It did take quite a long time to get our food because of this (at least 45 mins, whole meal took nearly an hour and a half 😬) but we are understanding, it happens. Just made for a late night, ha! Anyway, we will be back and hope they have more wait staff next time -- we noticed the door said they were hiring. : )
This place is a little confusing. For dine in, they have old fashioned tables and a waiter wearing fancy clothes. There is no wall separating the kitchen from the counter so you can see everything. Hard to imagine how they thought they could pull off the fancy vibe with low lights when you can see the kitchen bright lights and it looks like a casual pizza joint. My family ordered quite a bit from this place. I got egg plant pasta. Inexpensive but it doesn't come with salad. My cousin got shrimp alfredo. It comes with side salad and. Mom got chicken parmesan. It came with side salad also. For salads they only have ranch, house, and caesar. I wouldn't mind coming here again but the quality is the same as a frozen pasta from the grocery store.
I’m disappointed in this place. They have the absolute best Italian food around. But their service is TERRIBLE. I feel like they discriminated against us for having a big family. It is a treat for our family to go out and I always tip really well. I left nothing this time. We were left without drinks, without bread, when people that came in way after us got bread. We had a different person at our table whenever we stared at them long enough waiting for something. This was supposed to be our Father’s Day dinner and it was ruined by the awful service…. Really the complete lack of service. We won’t be returning.
We were the only ones in the restaurant 1st time, We asked the waitress to give us a moment it took forever for her to return. While we were waiting for our food they tore out the ceiling behind us and carried the asbestos thru the kitchen. Should have left at that point, but we had food coming and as we ate the cooks were in the kitchen eating over the prep counters and stove tops. My friend used the bathroom came back and said let’s leave and we are never coming back. Plunger on the floor with toilet paper on the plunge part and the bathroom disgusting.🤢 I love Italian and am in that area often, I will not be back.
Muscles were very good. Bruschetta was dry. The white pizza was dry, but the ricotta on it was good. The Tony's special pizza was also very dry. We added meatballs on it and the meatballs were good. Their crust just wasn't it. Delivery was quick.
I'm not sure why this place has over 4 stars? Their Lobster Soup tasted more like lobster-flavored cane sauce, or some kind of sauce in general. They used Sliced cheese for the garlic bread. The sauce on the fettuccine alfredo was bland, and the chicken was burnt. The place is small so the old couple kept staring at us 2 feet away. The waitress only came if you waved at her and expected you to know her name even though she didn't introduce herself.
Absolutely not. I ordered for pick up thats why I put no stars for Atmosphere. We ordered Shrimp Alfredo and Tortellini Alfredo. It tastes like burnt olive oil. not creamy and no flavor. We couldn't eat it. Disappointed .
Was working in the area and was brought by someone. I had the 'Spinach Roll', basically a large calzone. It was very good, fresh ingredients, and a side of marinara that absolutely Italian tasting. Definitely recommend.
Went here for the review left for the lack of service. The wait staff ignored me while I observed their business. Waiters were fighting over 1 register for a restaurant that caters to drive through, dine in and carry out. They had 4 staff up front and nobody to greet or acknowledge we were there. When we finally pulled someone’s attention they said they had no tables and was a 30+ min wait. I looked around at waiters on the same tables and empty tables in the corners. The decor was simple and lighting set a good atmosphere. The kitchen smelled good and looked very clean and organized while the dining room looked crowded with waitresses stepping on each other. After 45 min of being pushed aside and ignored we walked out. I do still want to try their food but I will not dine in their restaurant from lack of organization from the front staff. I give my rating for the front staff alone and how they treated me and my guest.
We are from out of town and have never received this bad of service. The food is terrible, but the staff is even worse. The owner yelled at me because I was a women. When my husband and brother in law talked to him he treated them a little better because they were men. If you are looking for authentic Italian food, I would not recommend this restaurant. They have horrible customer service.
Wife and I grabbed a late lunch and first thing I noticed was the overwhelming awful smell like a dirty bathroom as we entered the restaurant. We both had a Parm dish (Chicken for her and Veal for me) and the breading tasted old, and the pasta sauce did as well. I could only eat half and I felt nauseous within minutes. I have worked in restaurants and I would not recommend. The only bright spot was their side of soup…it was piping hot and tasty. Update: I messaged the restaurant via Facebook to inform them of my situation and was essentially blown off.
We have eaten here for years. Since they opened, so I went to have dinner with a friend who had injured her knee and she had her leg propped on the chair next to her and the waiter told her she couldn't put her foot in the chair. Her foot was no where near the chair and she said that to him and he stated it was the policy. When our waitress told the manager his response was if you want to be that comfortable you should be home. We will NEVER go back again!
I order here all the time, to go and dine in orders. Never had a problem until today, we get home with our order and we’re missing 3 soups. We live very close so we call and go back up there to receive them. They give us 2 soups because the girl supposedly “checked” and said there was only 2 on the receipt, yet previous orders, my receipt, and my bank account say differently. Please do better next time.
Got a dine in, there were two other tables in already eating when we got there. Our order didn’t come out until 40-50 minutes later. The server and the head chef/ manager both admitted to forgetting the order. Originally was told that the food would be free, then had to pay 50%? Was told it would be 5 more minutes and then it became another 15. Sadly our first time there, would be our last.
Customer service at this place is biased and we were not treated with courtesy. The older Middle eastern looking waitress with black hair was clueless about the menu and very rude. I could hear the cooking staff making a ruckus in the front while we tried to eat our bland meal. The whole ambience was unwelcoming and I regret wasting my money/ time for this tasteless “Italian” food. Never again.
Tried going here for dinner yesterday with my daughter and grandsons, 4 yo & 2 yo. Walked in and was being seated when a man behind the counter started saying loudly hey you can't bring that in here. My daughter had french fries for my 4 yo grandson. We tried explaining to the man that my grandson is autistic and has food sensory. He only eats 3 things and they do not have any of them on their menu. This man literally looked at us and said "so, I don't care, get out!" This is now way to treat customers. It's discrimination against children and people with disabilities! They are a BYOB restaurant. So they allow people to bring in alcohol but a special needs child can't bring in his fries. I'd totally understand if it was a whole meal, or something they serve, but it was just a box of fries! I'll never go back here again and it's sad cause I actually really like their food!
Just left this restaurant and sat down waited 10-15 minutes and not a single person took our drink order or checked on us. We ended up just leaving and walking out.
So my pizza was folded over in the Box. I called and asked did you run out of large boxes, the lady on the phone handed It over to I guess the owner. The guy on the phone said I shouldn't complain I gave you and extra large for the price of a Large. Should be renamed Taste of Rudeness!
Came in after a pick up order, he asked what number and I said I dont think I got one because i was in a loud place at the time.... he said, no you got one.... I said oh yeah this # ... young kid at the desk cashed me out said have a nice day. I proceed to leave and said oh sorry can you sign. The same guy said "no need to say sorry she said she didn't have a number" in a none joking way....... last time I come here. Trash customer service on his part. Kid was kind. Fast forward.... food 2 out of ten.
