Loved the new Lobsterfest Boil menu, we had the signature butter sauce spicy combination, with just the right level of spiciness in fragrant butter to elevate the oceanic flavor profiles of the lobster and prawns. The corn was generously infused with spicy butter and together with its natural sweetness, presented an outstanding experience, wished we could add more corn as extras. Going forward, we would like to try the salmon option as well, when we next visit USA!

“I asked for the Manager because I wanted to speak with her about my server, Karen.” She arrived about 30 seconds later. I said, “I just wanted to say that Karen, for a job done well should be promoted to a steak well done!” She guffawed and relaxed. ℹ pivoted and left a lefty salute, marching forward with my back to her and turned my left hand to escort myself away to more laughter by others including Karen.” All in a night’s work!

We've always loved Red Lobster 🦞, especially now that we know they appreciate and recognize veterans! We were there with our horses to provide guests with a little cheer and assisted equine therapy through my nonprofit Purple Reins 4 Healing Hearts! An unknown veteran loved our mission and generously gifted the nonprofit with a $100, which I placed in my back pocket. Sadly, by the time we rode back to the trailer, it was gone! 🤦🥹😥😢

We both had a different type of feast: Salmon, Shrimp, & Lobster and the Lobster Lover's Dream . I don't think there was anything left on either plate lol. Our server was working very hard to make sure we were taken care of because she was covering quite a few tables. She did a great job!

Everything was so perfect. Food was on point. We had the best server we have ever had. I have worked in the industry for 10 plus years and its hard to find as good of a server as Valerie. Valerie was spot on and very attentive and took care of all our needs. Valerie was so nice, kind and respectful and super nice to our kids. 11 out of 10 experience

Red Lobster is delicious every single time we've went. Their food is always so good and those biscuits are addicting. I've had the alcoholic beverages and they are pretty good but not very strong. So if you're trying to catch a buzz it might not be as great as if you are like me and just wanted to drink something yummy. Recommend going definitely worth a splurge every now and then.

Absolutely phenomenal food and service. Juan Carlos was our waiter and he was amazing at service and very attentive. The food was phenomenal. The seafood platter was great. We got two different seafood plates so we could both try bits of everything. The appatizers were great. The bread was great. Everything was 5 star worthy. $200 on dinner and evey penny worth it. Will return again and again. The only thing I wished if they were more stocked on the wines as the one I had originally chose was out but our drinks were well served.

First of all, I took my wife here for our 19th wedding anniversary. I booked a reservation for 8 and we got there early. The hostess was wonderful and sweet. She sat us in a secluded area of the restaurant. Our server, whose name is KJ, was fantastic. She took such good care of us and made us feel so special. The food was so flavorful and fresh! The chef's really should be proud of their creations that evening. Then, at the end of the evening, they surprised us with a special dessert that said "Happy Anniversary". This group of people was so wonderful and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The manager of this location should be proud of how the staff performed. They have made loyal customers of us from now on! Well done! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

I dined in tonight with my family and my server was Sherrie she gave excellent service and was very welcoming and helpful on recommending some great dishes , she was very friendly and suggested some great tasty desserts. Red Lobster is a family Fave!! First time trying the dragon bowl with grilled shrimp and it was so delicious!! It is a bit spicy, so maybe get sauce on the side to try at your own pace. I will definitely order this again, I highly recommend this!

We had such a wonderful experience at Red Lobster thanks to our amazing waitress, Sherrie! From the moment we were seated, she was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. She made sure our drinks were always refilled, checked in at just the right times, and made great menu recommendations that we absolutely loved. Sherrie’s positive attitude and friendly personality really stood out. She made us feel valued as guests, not just another table. Even when the restaurant was busy, she stayed calm, professional, and efficient. It’s clear she truly cares about providing excellent service. Because of Sherrie, our visit to Red Lobster was more than just a meal — it was a great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and hope to sit in her section again!

As of late, big chain restaurants have fallen out of favor for me but I have to give credit where credit is due. My wife and I both had different flavors of Red Lobsters Mariner Boil and they were both excellent. The service at this location was top notch and the quality of our meals easily offset the $50 each we had to pay. I was fully expecting a mediocre-at-best experience but ended up enjoying a flavorful and well prepared meal. My wife has never been a big (or at all) seafood eater so this was a ground breaking experience for her and has opened up the door to enjoy more seafood adventures (that is a Big deal). She had the Cajun Butter flavor and I had the Roasted Garlic Flavor and we respectively enjoyed our choices very much. The shrimp, lobster, potatoes and corn were cooked perfectly and super flavorful. The only issue was with the crab legs being smaller than expected for the price point and the meat was difficult to extract likely due to being a little over cooked. Larger legs would have made the meal a 10/10. We got fresh cheddar biscuits that my wife fell in love with. The only suggestion would be to have a fresh garden salad included in the meal. Would we go back? I'd say odds are good we will but not if we are really hungry because the volume of food for the Boils is lacking a little. Include a salad and maybe the Cajun sausage, upsize the crab legs and there would be no question we would go back to spend $120+ for two.

From the second I drove up in the parking lot I met server. Melissa and we started talking. Very friendly and she said she loves working here serving people, making them happy. Then the greeters, Caitlin and Emmalee beautiful smiles and very sweet My server Mandy, has spirit of God in her. Beautiful smile, kind heart, excellent server, very attentive. The next server, Crysta, was greeter, All kept the tables cleared off while doing other jobs. Delicious outstanding food from biscuits to dessert. I am here by myself. Celebrating my birthday. Celebrating the move to a new home. Celebrating a move from a trailer to a newly remodeled classroom. Leaving 3 hours later very happy and content. Leaving with new family of Red Lobster people. Walked in yesterday around 4pm, was sat quickly by the friendly hostess. After a couple minutes, Jason came over, and I told him I had not been to a Red Lobster in over a decade, but was really craving some shellfish. He took time to listen to what I was looking for and made a personalized recommendation for the ultimate feast with Crab and Lobster Tail, and recommended fried shrimp and scampi with baked potato and broccoli. I took the recommendation. Food came out shortly thereafter, everything was hot, and the presentation was perfect. Food was fresh and delicious... really hit the spot, but the service from Jason was equally important because I was a fish out of water when I came in. I recently went away and on my trip I was craving shellfish... but couldn't find any at the resort. So when I came back I decided to try a local crab in a bag spot on the other side of town. I spent $55 bucks there, and left hungry and unsatisfied. So I said "What the hell... I'll try Red Lobster." For the same money, I got twice as much food that tasted way better than the other spot, and way better service. I will return, and I sure hope that this chain doesn't go anywhere... because this is going to be a new regular spot for me.

Red Lobster is one of those chain restaurants that does certain things very well and other things subpar. This is one of my favorite places to get soup, salad, and biscuits as a quick lunch. But many menu items (i.e., rice, steak) come out tasting bland or microwaved. The service at this specific location seems to be understaffed, as well. We typically have issues with service during lunchtime when there seems to be the least amount of waiters staffed. Overall, if you know what to expect, it's a decent place for a meal - just don't expect to be wowed.

The menu revamp has made a big difference. It had been nearly two years since my last visit and there was definitely an improvement. Still not a place that I’m rushing to get to but not opposed to going. I did notice that the cheddar bay biscuits seemed to be smaller.

Went here to celebrate our 15th anniversary. Got the surf and turf. Steak was dry, and the lobster lacked flavor. Our server Jason was nice. He was the server, bartender, and bus boy all in one. He made our experience better. Very attentive, fast service. The place was clean, very quiet. Overall positive experience because of the service.

We returned to Red Lobster for dinner and our old favorites... the cheddar bay biscuits! They were as warm, soft and delicious as I remember them. Service: Our server was fast, funny, and professional. She did bring my (non drinking) wife and alcoholic beverage which to her dismay I asked to be returned to the bar (see pic #3). Food: Great food and the best crab legs in the business! My wife had the coconut shrimp with coconut pineapple dip and the fettuccine was buttery and amazing! RL wait even staff sang happy birthday!!!

Came to Red Lobster looking for nostalgia after many years of not dinging here. I think the menu and the taste of the food hardly changed and maybe that’s a good thing. Service was prompt and the dishes came out quickly. The most memorable part of the night was desert tho. Also the long Iceland was way too weak 😂

there was a musty smell, I think it was some type of cooler in front of the door. The greeter was very nice and ready to sit us. The server, Edwin was the best. He made us feel so welcome and explained the menue perfectly. He brought my mom a beautiful dessert for her birthday. He was very attentive and kind. Sadly, the food was bland. Needed salt. Pepper and Italian spices.

I am the owner of 4TH Demention Construction and the local guide. The lobster was absolutely fantasticthe staff is wonderful they help you with anything you need unfortunately the baked potato itself that we ask for a side was microwave a little too long. I ask the manager if they had microwaved it and he refused to say so he said he had to do it on the fly understandably I was coming in quite late close to closing but that doesn't mean you decimate a customer regardless of what time they come in. We received a microwave potato that was cooked too long that was hard as hell at the top of it I wish you was honest. I would have gave a 5-star review unfortunately he lied to us that's why they're getting the four star review other than that the clam chowder was absolutely fantastic and I mean absolutely wonderful it was so good and fresh. Please take a look at our pictures it is a wonderful environment with a great selection of alcohol. I had a Oktoberfest and they let me take the cup home.if you would like some fresh seafood in town here in Bakersfield I guarantee you'll get it here come by and try some it's wonderful thank you red lobster and thank you for your time.

…said I wouldn’t be back…but I came back and I’m HAPPY I came back. First I’d like to thank Red Lobster. They read my original review, saw that my experience was not very positive and they wanted to make it up to me. So here is my Re-review of Red Lobster in Bakersfield, CA. First off…in my last review I made a big deal that the restaurant was Hot as Heck! Made our dining experience unbearable. I’m happy to say that this most recent visit the restaurant was cool and pleasant. Came on a Thursday a little after 5 hoping to beat the dinner rush. Party of 3 hostess was prompt and showed us to our booth. Drinks were simple, Modela for dad, mom and I had iced teas. Drinks came fast. Appetizer was the calamari and it tasted great. Dad had the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake. I’m not really sure what was in it. But it was a lot! He enjoyed it very much. Mom was simple with the kids Lobster tail with a baked potato. My mom just loves the petite tail. Not too much food just right. She got this last time. (Again kids menu) I had the Steak medium rare with Green beans and a loaded baked potato and I splurged for the bacon. Green beans were awesome. And this is where the review starts to lose a star. My baked potato was supposed to be loaded. But it was missing chives and loaded wasn’t really loaded and I paid for the bacon and there wasn’t that much bacon. The steak…I don’t send steaks back. That being said…parts or it were well, parts felt more rare than medium rare. The kicker was the line of fat I couldn’t cut through and said, nah I’m good. (See pic) This was going to be a 3 star review. BUT…the service was on point today. Ashley, our server…totally nailed it. She was on refills, clearing plates, we needed extra condiments. And even the other servers and I think even the manager came around and helped or at least checked on us. My parents LOVE Red Lobster. And this recent visit made them very happy. This wasn’t a slam dunk outing for me. So close to that 5-star but the steak and potato combined I can’t overlook that. But I am going to say…I recommend coming here.

I've only been to the red lobster here in Bakersfield, twice the first time I got the shrimp platter which is very good, very fresh. I came again for Mother's Day. And I'm second-guessing it. The shrimp wasn't cooked all the way. It was too mushy, and they've cut the menu so much that you can't pick what sides you want, only there choices or you have to pay extra. Which is something that was not the case in other red lobsters I have frequented in the past.

For the prices they are charging, you'd like to think they could do better. My wife's soup was cold and when we sent it back, she got the same bowl back, reheated (she had put bits of her biscuit in it). They were out of hush puppies, mozzarella sticks, bacon wrapped scallops, mahi mahi, and popcorn shrimp.

The service was amazing, our waitress was called Mercedez and she was amazing. It was really busy, but she made sure she had time for all her tables. She was so helpful and amazing, she should get a raise. However, the problem was the wait. We waited for almost an hour. Then when we were seated, we sat in two different tables. The food had a long wait and came cold. The food was good, even though it was cold and some stuff were missing. The service is only reason why I would come back for. Overall, it was ok.

July 2022 update the service still needs work. Sadly food was mediocre this time around also. Service could've been better the bus boy came to the table and actually said we seemed to have misplaced your server. Was sitting there maybe 15 mins before we even got drinks. The food was amazing though as expected. Ordered the chicken alfredo came out smoking flavors were amazing, you can never go wrong with the chicken alfredo. Also the lighting... why is it so dim?

I would give a better review but when you come in and the restaurant is only 10% occupied and you have to wait 20 minutes there is a problem with the staff. The food was great but I actually heard the lady at the front desk trying to persuade people to go somewhere else to eat.

The biscuits were good but my entree with tilapia topped with crabs with a side of baked potato and green beans/mushrooms were okay. The fish was good but the potato was overcooked and the greens were average. Service was normal as well.

Can you please treat the to go orders the same as the dine in orders. I have had issues with my orders several times, but neglected to complain because I kept trying to give this location the benefit of the doubt. However there are only so many passes I can give. It's annoying to get home and unpacked a meal half put together, missing items, wrong items and ect. Come on babes-do better

You got what you paid for. This was my first visit to Red Lobster. Food: The lobster was fine but the steak was tough to chew. Vegetables were frozen and then microwaved so completely soggy. Cold slaw was fine and the house biscuits were great. Service: attentive and professional. Asked multiple times for drink and biscuit refills. Overall not bad and can revisit for the price tag.

Decided to try out Red Lobster for the first time ever. It was a Friday night (9 pm), and this place was empty. I'm usually not a negative person, but this should have been my sign to go elsewhere. We were seated right away, and the waitress took our order. She kept checking up on us and was an extremely nice person. Her people skills were A+, but her memory skills were not the best. We ordered 2 salads as side with Bacon. Only one of the salads had Bacon. My wife ordered a mango alcoholic beverage and also a water on the side so she could enjoy it after the drink. She never received her water. When we got out steaks, she asked if we wanted A1 sauce, to which we replied yes, please. We never got our A1 sauce. For the number of people that were in the restaurant, maybe less than 20, I expected better service. Now to the food. We ordered stuffed mushrooms as our appetizer, and they tasted extremely delicious. For our main dish, we both ordered the surf and turf maine lobster tail and 7oz steak. This was my first time trying Lobster Tail, and I was not a big fan. I did love the butter sauce that came with the lobster, but I did not care for the lobster itself. My steak was cooked rare, as I had asked for, but it was average tasting. My wife's steak was also cooked to perfection, but again, it lacked flavor like mine. The broccoli with cheddar cheese was delicious. Now, the best tasting dish was the house salad. This is by far one of the best salads I have EVER tasted! This salad was full of flavor. The red onion that comes in the salad just complements the rest of the ingredients. Food I rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars. For the price that we paid for the food we expected something tastier.

We had a wonderful waitress. Her name is China. We ordered clam chowder, fish, and chips, and pasta chicken pasta. Clam chowder wasn’t really clam chowder. It was watery with potatoes hardly any clams. And it was pretty bad. The chicken pasta was OK, but I’ve had it before and it was a whole lot better in the past. The fish and chips for my husband were pretty good. Great service but we’re so surprised. The food was not what we expected or anticipated. Went there for lunch and we won’t be going back after this experience.

Not busy at all. No wait. Lots of empty tables. 6 PM on a Friday. My daughter ordered the crab. When she asked for crab crackers, we were told that the crab crackers had all been thrown away and that the restaurant did not have any more. When my “appetizer” soup came AFTER my meal, I was told that out of clean spoons and presented me with a takeout plastic spoon. Interestingly, when my wife’s and daughter’s desserts came out, they had cleaned more spoons. Wanted dessert. Was presented with some takeout boxes and the check. Not offered dessert.

Surprisingly bad. Our waitress was INCREDIBLE though. She made our night. And the rolls. Gotta mention the rolls, they're pretty good. We paid with a gift card and I still don't think it was worth it. The lobster was dry and flavor was not right. Usually, as long as the lobster carries the butter flavor, it can be good, but this couldn't even rise to that level.

Went for the first time in a few years. I have always liked red lobster. After we were seated, we waited for no less than 15 minutes for a server. One never arrived. No drinks. No biscuits , nothing. As we were walking out we told a manager and all she said was " sorry". I don't think I'll be going back.

The food I ordered was not good. My mom picked this place for lunch and I went along. My clam chowder was tho k and warm, I sent it back 3 times and the last time the waitress realized I was not pleased and took it off the bill. Honestly it seems like Red Lobster has really declined in taking care of the food. The kitchen is the most important and that’s how a business thrives. They make the same things over and over, so it doesn’t make sense that at anytime of the day, the food would be lacking. Maybe they need to get rid of everyone in kitchen because this is not the first time. I won’t be back, I’ll just make my own at home.

When my mom and I got there, we were greeted by a very nice server, but unfortunately, the food and drinks were absolutely unacceptable. My mom’s margarita had a long string of hair in it, which was beyond disgusting. On top of that, my seafood boil had a used glove underneath my sea food boil bag. The services was horrible and the service kept asking well what do you want me to do about it? Not once did he say allow me to get the manger. So nasty and unsanitary!

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Red Lobster, and unfortunately it was entirely due to the service we received from our waitress, Sherrie. From the moment we were seated, it felt like we were not a priority at all. She seemed far more focused on a larger party across the room and repeatedly brushed us off whenever we tried to get her attention. We waited an unreasonable amount of time just to place our order, and things only got worse from there. Our drinks sat empty for most of the meal because she never checked on us or offered refills. Each time we did manage to flag her down, she would quickly say something like, “Let me go clean this table real quick,” or “Let me go take care of this table and I’ll be right back.” The problem is, she never actually came back. We kept waiting and waiting, feeling ignored while she continued tending to other tables. Customer service should make guests feel welcome and valued, but this experience did the complete opposite. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. We weren’t asking for anything unreasonable — just basic attentiveness and courtesy — and even that seemed like too much to expect that night. Overall, the lack of attention, long waits, and repeated excuses made for a very frustrating dining experience. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this visit left such a poor impression that I felt it was important to share. I truly hope management addresses this issue so future guests don’t have the same experience we did. To top it all off, when we brought our concerns to the manager hoping the situation would be taken seriously, the resolution felt just as disappointing as the service. After explaining everything we experienced, all we were offered was 25% off our bill and a dessert. While that might sound like a nice gesture, it really didn’t make up for how poor the service was throughout the entire visit. It felt more like a quick attempt to smooth things over rather than a genuine effort to acknowledge or correct what went wrong.
