I’d give the service here 6 stars if I could. Our waiter Mikey was great! My wife and I really enjoyed our experience here. The Chilean Sea Bass was excellent, and the view of the harbor was beautiful. Great spot!
We loved this place! The food and service was excellent!! Loch boasts an impressive selection of fresh oysters that did not disappoint. We enjoyed six different varieties and they were all delicious. The lump crab cakes and crab dip are not to be missed. Loved the craft cocktails- The Democrat (left) and the Oaxacan Old Fashioned (right) below were our favorites. A big thank you to our waiter Greg who was very attentive. We will definitely be back!
4 Seasons Hotel had some really good food for the 4th of July. Crab cakes were awesome and entertainment was top notch.
Let me start by saying Great Vibes, Austin, you are an absolute treasure, and I give you a special thank you. The food is delicious and the staff is very attentive!!! This is a must for those who don't know. We will be back.
This place is nice, they have seating in a patio or inside. Service is superb, we had a super attentive waitress (Kimberly) :). Food is really great (french onion soup, cream of crab, lobster roll, fried brussel sprouts side and loaded s'mores blondie... Delicious!!!). Also both our drinks really good (mojito). The only this that wasn't tasty was the rockefeller oysters. They had live music, which was really nice (just a bit loud, to have a normal conversation). Afterwards they put regular music, which was good and less loud. I really liked this place. It's in a nice neighborhood. Clean. Very good option for dinning.
Loch Bar, located within the Four Seasons Baltimore, is one of my favorite seafood restaurants in all of the United States. The seafood is always fresh, the atmosphere is fantastic, the location within the Inner Harbor is perfect, and the crab cakes are, without a doubt, the best you will ever have!
Food and service was great as always. However, there was a rank smell circulating by the bar. Smelled like sewage. Thankfully, it was a nice day outside, so we were able to sit at the outdoor bar for the remainder of the evening.
Great experience tonight. We got the charcuterie board, and I got the hushpuppies. Totally pleased with both. For an entree I got the fish & chips, which turned out to be the lightest, flakiest fried fish I've ever had. I've had lots of fish & chops around the globe, and it's usually really heavy with lots of breading. But this was delightful. I also had the Baltimore Lemon Stick to drink, which I love, but I wish they still put the actual peppermint sticks in the drink I stead of a disc. Still, great meal and good staff.
If you’re visiting Baltimore & are craving seafood GO TO LOCH! You will not be disappointed. The staff were so friendly. Morgan was an amazing server! I’ve been in this industry for 12 years & she is one of the best servers I’ve ever had. The food was quick, fresh & delicious. Outdoor seating by the water was perfect.
My mom and I went for national daughter’s day and the service was so good!! Food was good. Our first greet at the door was by the lovely Austin who was very informative and took us to our table!! We had the best server Isabell!! She took care of us and made sure the food was everything we asked for. Love this place and have been here a number of times but these two made it very special on our most recent visit. Thanks guys!!
No notes. Lobster roll was fantastic. Lemon blueberry cheesecake was to die for - I would go back just for that
I came here for dinner with my girlfriends a few days ago and I was amazed! The atmosphere was so beautiful, you can dress it up or dress it down. The food was fantastic and the drinks were spectacular! I loved every moment of it, the waiter was so kind and so accommodating! This was my first time here and it won’t be my last! A must visit.
We had just gotten into the city and we were a little tired but still hungry so we found this spot and decided to stop in. It was late but we caught them right before they took the last call. What I like most about that was even tho we ordered pretty late our food still was fresh and hot and we appreciated that. The service was Amazing and it didn’t take to long for our food to come out . This would be a definite date spot if we lived here it just has the sort of Vibe. But the price is decent, the location is great and the food is so good it’s definitely a spot worthy of checking out !!
Amazing food with a great view! I am always skeptical of places right on the water of being overpriced and mediocre but this place is worth it! The adult grilled cheese complete with gouda, bacon and loaded with CRAB is delicious. The drinks are tasty! I couldn't decide between the two crab soups so they did 1/2 and 1/2 and it was good. I love my mussels and fries and the brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection and have a bit of sweet and spicy to them. We had amazing service and look forward to going back!
Great restaurant right on the water oysters were amazing. Lobster rolls were great. Service was a little slow and not very efficient. But overall, a great restaurant with good seafood
Delicious food and great service. The manager went above and beyond helping us. We had a large party and they took good care of us. I had the gulf grouper with white beans. It had a little chili sauce on it. It was spicy but not too much. The s’mores dessert was fantastic. The views of the harbor were amazing. They even made a special vegetarian dish.
Either you are staying at the Four Seasons Baltimore or just around the area you should visit Loch Bar. We had a great experience at the Loch Bar for brunch. Drinks were amazing (ring of fire, beachcoma, and naked & famous). Our server was phenomenal, service top-notch, and the food was delicious. Plus, there was live music. Thank you
Dinner at Loch Bar was a delight. The fresh seafood was exceptionally prepared, and every dish delivered bold, satisfying flavor. The lively waterfront ambiance and attentive service created an inviting atmosphere, making the experience both relaxed and refined a perfect place to enjoy Baltimore’s vibrant dining scene.
The food here is beyond delicious! From the oysters to the dessert! I had lamb kebabs, oysters: orchard point, blue point, dixon point, and jack point (the best), and the Chilean sea bass!! Muy magnifique!
My lady friends took me to dinner for my birthday! We sat outside on a beautiful September evening! Fabulous views of the harbor and Baltimore at night! The food was fantastic and server, Angelo, was awesome! Lobster tails, crab cake sandwich and Chilean sea bass were all delicious - A completely wonderful experience! Would highly recommend!!!❤️❤️
A big group of us came in for dinner on a weeknight... We sat outside, along the water and had decent service. The views and temps were great out there, but the lantern flies are ridiculous and all over. Their menu is very nice and it was hard to decide what to get, but everything we all chose were things we ended up really enjoying. For me, I absolutely loved the ceviche! Probably in my top 5 ever! Their mac & cheese side is also incredible! I tried their grilled shrimp banh mi and it was interesting - nice flavors, fresh, and tasty. Lots of drinks on tap and on their cocktail menu as well. Definitely worth stopping in!
The food and service was good. We got cream of crab, Oyster Rockefeller, Chilean Sea Bass and Rock fish.
Very nice restaurant. The Chilean sea bass was excellent. The cream of crab soup was delicious! Our server was very friendly and came to check on us often. Nice view of the inner harbor. This is our second time coming back here and I would highly recommend.
While visiting from Upstate NY, my uncle suggested we have lunch here. It did not disappoint! Beautiful restaurant, food was very delicious and well seasoned. Most importantly the service was spectacular. I’m mad I forgot our server’s name because he was definitely one of the best we’ve encountered. Will for sure return again.
Great seafood place within the 4 Seasons structure, overlooking the harbor. Food, drinks, service, decor all top notch. We were so famished I forgot to take pics of any of our apps and drinks. Highly recommend the tuna poke, scallops ceviche, hush puppies, anything from the raw bar, and the tenderloin strips lettuce wraps. They were ALL exquisite. Our main dishes did not disappoint as well. Baltimore really has the best crab cakes. This place was legendary. We also had the salmon wrap and mussels. They were excellent.
Bar: There are two moderate televisions at the 18-seat bar if you’re looking for a spot to leisurely watch sports in a mellow afternoon environment. Brunch review: Live music from local favorites Enslow playing an acoustic set and a brunch menu with variety made this a pleasant first experience at Loch Bar. Chance the bartender is incredibly friendly and attentive. Noon: As the sole patron at the bar and only three seated tables, the restaurant is perfectly quiet except for the talented performers. 1:30pm: The bar is filling out and the tables are mostly full so the atmosphere has evolved as the din increased. The cream of crab soup had a satisfying spice to it that warms you up on a rainy winter’s day. The lobster roll, served on a toasted bun, pairs well with the crab soup. Dinner menu review: Go full Baltimore with Cream of Crab soup, an Orange Crush, and crab cakes. Stephen is great behind the bar and will make your visit great. Don’t forget to use the Atlas app for reservations and rewards.
I came here for my Birthday last year and i loved it. Beautiful Astmophere, my server was very nice i had first ordered the Salmon wrap and it was okay and i say that because it was a little too spicy for my liking wit the peppers and i'm not big on spicy foods so that's the only reason why i said it was okay and because i didn't like it they let me choose another dish so i was happy about that and it was delicious. They had someone that was playing the guitar and singing and they gave me a birthday shout out as well as a happy birthday song and that was cool i loved it, and since it was my Birthday they gave me a dessert(Cheesecake) which was delicious and sung Happy Birthday to me. It was really awesome there. I would definitely go back again which i am for my birthday again this year so i highly recommend this restaurant.
Nicole, our server, was absolutely fantastic. Funny, courteous, honest and extremely helpful when asked about the menu. Ordered the sea bass, Brussel Sprouts and the soup. Everything was finger licking good! The Frosè was absolutely delicious as well as the cheesecake for dessert. Sat outside to a full view of the harbor and people watching. Was definitely a great experience and worth every penny. Thank you Nicole! ❤️
This restaurant was recommended by friends. So, what better way to visit than with friends for dinner. The atmosphere was great, the staff was wonderful, the food was absolutely delicious and the desserts were out of this world. If ever in Baltimore, you have to visit this restaurant. Started with oysters on the clam shell and, for an entree, had the surf and turf. The food was amazing. From the fresh bread to the EVOO I can not say enough.
They have an extensive raw food bar if that’s what you’re looking for. Overall a well balanced menu for all types of eaters. The food was tasty and well platted. Our food arrived in different stages and the salad as a main course arrived after several requests. So we really couldn’t eat together. It’s a beautiful place and right on the water but the noise level inside was too much.
Food was great. They served fresh oysters. My kids loves the chicken risotto and lobster roll. The salmon wrap is juicy. The steak and crab dip taste really good. Our server is nice and the 2 ladies are very attentive and respectful who make sure the table is clean and our glass have enough water. It was a good experience.
Great place to eat at any time of the day! I went during lunch and it was very loud and busy, but I was still able to enjoy my, talk to the people I was eating with, and the waitress still came to check on us regularly. The scallops were delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. Can’t wait to visit again and try something else on the menu!
This amazing place was in walking distance from our hotel. The crab cake sandwich was so delicious!! Brussel sprouts and oysters are a must do as well! The attentive staff and cozy vibe made our experience top tier!
Stopped in for a dinner of oysters and apps, was not disappointed. Server was fun and real. Food was perfect, legitimately, and drinks were the same. We had several oysters, the dip, and a blonde. Zero complaints. If you get seated on the large bench, it can get a little cramped if you're bigger. I'm 6'4" and had to focus on keeping my elbows in. A great place to dine.
We had a great lunch at Loch Bar today! Sat at the bar. Bartenders were attentive and friendly. Service was very fast. We had the lobster salad and crab grilled cheese. Both were fantastic!!
A friend and I came in for a drink and conversation. We were not disappointed with Loch Bar. Everything was wonderful. Our cocktails were yummy. Lunch (ceasar salad and Marylabd Crab soup) was delicious. Our server was attentive and caring. Once again everything was wonderful. I will be back for another opportunity to just be in a great environment. Thank you.
The location is really nice. The service was good and I enjoyed talking to the bartender who had a wealth of knowledge about the various whiskey and bourbons available for customers. The mussels were delicious and I enjoyed the old bay fries. The maryland crab soup was a little salty and I probably wouldn't have that again. However, happy hour is a great time to try the drinks and food. Will definitely be going back.
The ambiance is inviting and fun. I enjoyed the drinks. I had the froze’ which was tasty. We had the crab dip and hush puppies as appetizers which were tasty; not the best we’ve had but not bad. We had the sea bass, fried oysters and seafood sub as our main dishes. Tasty but not delicious or amazing. The service was fast and our waitress was very receptive. I’d say the general environment was the highlight of our night. May return and give other meals a try.
Visited this restaurant by the harbor for happy hour and they have a raw bar with happy hour specials. They have an extensive alcohol selection with knowledgeable bartenders. They keep the atmosphere nice with a dress code. The AC was out so after happy hour we moved outside. Inside and outside both had great atmosphere but outside had a pretty good view of the harbor and a great cross breeze. I had the crabcake sandwich which was pretty great md crabcake with no filler jumbo lump crab. I also had the maryland crab soup which was also quite tasty. Last I had brussel sprouts which were a good side item as the crabcake only came with a mixed green salad. Next time I’m in I want to try the oysters Rockefeller and the lobster roll.
I went here for lunch and was pretty impressed with the location and the ambiance. Being right next to the water is a real treat. I was immediately attended to by Delaney and she was very attentive the whole time. I had the Frosé to drink and it was DELICIOUS. I initially ordered the lobster cocktail because I'm honestly not that big on bread and I really just wanted the lobster. This is usually served cold but I was told I could also order it hot. It came out dry, tough, just overcooked. I guess they heated up previously cooked lobster so it just made it tough. Delaney quickly fixed the situation by letting me order something else, and I ended up going with the lobster roll. When I tell you this is the best lobster roll I have ever had. No mayo yet the flavor was soooo good. Just huge lumps of lobster coated in butter and sitting inside of a fresh, hot, bun. Definitely worth the money. Also, the brussel sprouts are phenomenal! I ordered the chocolate ganache layered cake for dessert. And, yes, it was pretty good, but not 14 dollars good. The slice was very small compared to what you would get normally when ordering cake, and it's double the price. I would skip dessert next time I come. I took off one star for the overcooked lobster and the overpriced cake, but overall, a very nice restaurant with very good food.
Overall I give this a 3.5* review but Google doesn't allow half stars so rounding up. Nice setting on the harbor, had live music on a Friday night. Inside was a bit loud and I don't think I saw the hostesses smile once. They have an outdoor bar and seating options as well as indoor bar and dining area. I really wanted to like this place but left just feeling meh. Staff was ok, waiter was friendly and helpful. Also, was honest and warned us the crab cream soup was a bit salty, (it was). More on service later. Food was pretty good, but not worth the prices in my opinion. Caesar salad for $18, good size but bland flavor except for the salty parmesan crisps. $66 crab cakes were tasty but not sure that they warrant that price for 2 crab cakes and fries. Moules Frites were good and I'd order that again for $25. However the staff (not our waiter) brought our mains out before we had finished our starters, she just stood there for a second, and then just crammed everything onto our small table. They also wanted to clear our plates while we were actively eating. I think they refilled our water once over the course of our meal? So definitely could do better on the service side.
We arrived early with a reservation - so the staff took us to the bar area to have a drink to wait for our friends first. The bar area was nice - the cocktail was okay and the fries were delicious. We then dined outside for dinner when our friends arrived. The crabcake was interesting and the other dishes were great as well. However, the service was problematic as the staff did not have a very nice communication from the beginning so we were there back and forth since we were in the bar area. Everything was nice, not quite for the service.
Frosè was delicious, but they got rid of that new bartender Justin who was great, he was hilarious. The sriracha Brussels sprouts were good too.
Everything was great aside from the service. Arrived prior to the evening rush but still waited at the front almost 10 mins before anyone greeted us. Once the receptionist came to the front he organized the menus, printed a few receipts looking papers and a few other tasks prior to welcoming us which was weird. No "I'll be right with you" or anything. It was literally like we weren't standing there. Once we were seated our actual waitress was very friendly but she failed to check on us once our order was taken and received. The food was GREAT! The Brussel sprouts were delicious and our favorite. The crab soup was a close runner up. The flavors, the consistency, and the generous serving of crab meat. We also ordered the lobster roll, the crab cake sandwich and a dozen oysters from the raw bar. We lucked up and found parking on the street a block over. The garage was full due to a wedding but the weather was great so it made the short walk enjoyable. Still undecided if a second visit will happen because the service was so poor.
My wife and ate here on a Saturday night and had a wonderful experience. We felt the food was wonderful. My wife and I had both fried oysters and oysters Rockefeller which I would highly recommend. Both main entrées were very tasty. Overall very friendly staff and a beautiful location.
Went here for a short 30 mins during happy hour but I will be returning. Our bartender was friendly, skilled and knowledgeable. I only had cream of crab soup but it was delicious (especially since I didnt have to add old bay seasoning like most other restaurants).
The ceviche was amazing! The lobster roll was very good. The grilled cheese was decent, but little guy really liked the fries. Service was subpar. Waitress didn’t come to table very often. Counted the tables next to us with a different waiter had four visits in 30 minutes to our one. Waitress was very nice, but barely visited. Waters went empty multiple times and had to ask for water refill. The view is good, but know that it’s in front of the marina (we still enjoyed the sweeping water front views).
The food is fine, nothing amazing but good. The service was great! If you want a salad just know its big enough to share. Especially the Cesar salad. If you love cheese its for you. A crazy overload of cheese.
The bartender was very kind. The oysters were good. I was nervous to order any food from the kitchen as the bar was one of the filthiest bars that I had seen in a while. A clear film of dirt in the customer's face. Managers were snacking and on their phones. Restaurant could use a real deep clean. I was really surprised by the conditions, especially in a Four Seasons...
I have been to The loch Bar many times and I must say I was very disappointed with my meal, atmosphere and cleanliness of the establishment including the ladies room. The crab soup was extremely salty and the base of the soup looked more like the base of a French onion definitely not Maryland style. The roll of the Loch burger was stale and instantly fell apart upon eating it. The cocktails were all ice and at 20 a pop a total rip off. The ladies room was dirty and disgusting. Overflowing trashcan, no towels and an empty toilet paper roll instead of being properly stocked. The live music while good, was extremely loud to the point of being obnoxious. Our group literally had to scream to one another to be heard. It’s a small restaurant and the volume should be adjusted accordingly. We were extremely disappointed with the entire experience.
