Pizza Calzone Banbury

Best italian restaurant. This are some of the dishes that we had there. Its our 4th time to go in this restaurant and we love it. We are going to Banbury usually only so we can have lunch in this place. Very delicious food and not so expensive restaurant. Customer service is always on the top. We tried paella, pizza and pasta and everything is 10/10.

Ordered a takeaway from here after the amazing smells drew us in. Portions are generous and full of flavour. Best Italian I have ever had. Staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Recommend to book if you want to sit in, as the restaurant was packed every time we walked past from when it opened at lunch time to when we collected our food at 7pm. The only one disappointment I have is that it isn’t closer to home for me to visit more often.

We visited this restaurant 2 nights in a row! We tried pizza, folded pizza, pasta, risotto, calamari, salad. All are excellent and delicious! I like the folded pizza with ham the most! It’s moist inside and a bit crispy outside. Calamari with tomato sauce was fresh and tasty. Definitely worth!

Service was very very quick! Our food came very quickly and was all delicious! It was lovely and the servers were all very nice! Nice cosy atmosphere with music at just the right volume! Not too busy to begin with but filled up closer to 7pm! I'd definitely recommend!

Very delicious food, nice atmosphere. Everything was amazing. From the first minute in this restaurant you feel like in Italy. The staff is really nice and they are always helpful and take care of you to ensure that your visit is good. The service is always on the highest level. Every time we are there everything is perfect and there are no negative experiences. It's definitely worth visiting.

Staff were very friendly, cheerful and made us feel very welcomed with a cosy atmosphere. The food was a nice big portion with good quality. 👌🤌😃 Everything we ordered were delicious! 😋

Excellent pizza and the pasta and calzone dishes looked nice too. Efficient, polite service. It was a bit noisy due to a large group in there, but that was just unfortunate timing on our part.

Absolutely wonderful! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely. My daughter was over the moon with the ice cream and the bunny-shaped pizza. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back! Grazie! 🙏🏻

Absolute love this place. It's our go to for a meal out. The staff are just amazing. It's like being served by your best mate. They always make a fuss of the kids too. Food is simply devine. Never had a bad meal in the 10 years we've been going there.

Delicious food and fantastic service. There were some children being quite loud/misbehaving and Giovanni managed it perfectly - polite bribing and clearly stating restaurant etiquette, in a way that children respond positively too. I've not seen that done for some time because everyone seems to be anxious about doing the right thing (they may upset someone's feelings despite it being for the betterment of all, including the child). I don't live locally but will be returning for sure 😊

Excellent! Great staff and owner. Very friemdly, knowledgable and passionate about their food, which is incredible. A must visit for anyone in the area looking for some great food served with a smile!

I took a young man with physical and learning disabilities to Pizza Calzone.. he said he has never had a better experience in a restaurant. The staff and manager could not have been more accommodating. Nice relaxing atmosphere and definitely worth the 45 minute drive to visit again. Thank you so much!!

We went to Pizza Calzone for my birthday! The atmosphere was nice, great service and lovely authentic Italian food. Makes a difference when its actually all freshly prepared.My son loved the garlic bread pizza and margarita. The portion size of the pasta was big. We booked online and had to select if it was an occasion, so I selected birthday. I wasn't expecting anything, but they played a birthday song and gave me a nice creamy dessert. It was a lovely gesture. We will certainly visit again.

To start, the food was delicious and plentiful. I had to leave half my Calzone as it was so packed with filling and massive. It came with a fresh passata, olive oil, herd tomato sauce in a ramikin. The staff were very pleasant and service was quick and reliable. A service charge is included but I enjoyed the experience enough to add a bit of cash as a tip. I'll definitely go back, but won't eat for 24 hours beforehand so I can eat more of it. My wife couldn't finish hers either as her delicious pasta dish was also substantial.

Like being sat by an Italian lake (unfortunately without the weather). What a fantastic authentic Italian pizzeria experience. Calzones were excellent. The homemade lasagne was delicious and the tiramisu was sorpendente 👍 Staff were very polite and If I’m ever in the Banbury area again I’ll definitely revisit.

Ordered tagliatelle, hawaiana, risotto "pollo e funghi". The chef was nice enough to show his flipping skills. Have to say the tagliatelle is one of the best pasta I have tried. Definitely a must order. Overall good food and good service. Grazie!

Perfecto🤌🏼 walking by , You could think is another Italianish restaurant, but once You get inside, You can hear, see, and smell Italiano. Great familiar atmosphere 👌🏽 My Spaghetti alla Vongole was amazing 😋

Our first and definitely not the last visit. It’s a small, however very welcoming restaurant. We tried some pasta, pizza and paella during our visit and all dishes very delicious! Very authentic Italian (and Spanish ;) food, friendly staff and warm atmosphere. We’ll be back :)

This lovely authentic Italian restaurant has the best spaghetti, calzone and tiramisu around Oxford! They are very generous with the portions as well:)

My Partner and I we're visiting Banbury and we came from Newcastle. We stumbled upon Pizza Calzone. The food was that nice here we would come all the way back just to have it again. 👌

Amazing place in Banbury which has - let's face it - only slim pickings for good food. The place feels very welcoming and there is lots of inside space. Facilities are also very clean. We were served attentively and food came very quickly despite it being quite busy. Portion sizes were huge and we were fine with 2 meals and a salad between 3. The manager came over after and offered my kids free small ice creams which I really appreciated and was very sweet. I am definitely coming back to try their pastas. Highly recommended

I been here couple of times and I tried different things from the menu. The food is good but in my opinion needs a little bit more seasoning, the pastas are very good just need to be more creamer. Pizzas very generous with toppings but the seasoning of tomato sauce is “plain”. Staff is very friendly, and the service is fast, a little bit price.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Acoustics made it sound loud inside especially with kid's being kid's. The pizza's are very tasty and maybe on the expensive side. Please note there is a service charge of 10%.

We had a lovely evening dining here last night. The restaurant was absolutely full, but the service remained fantastic—attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout. The food was delicious from start to finish. We shared the bruschetta to start, followed by a pizza each, and finished with a tiramisu that was beautifully light and fresh. The atmosphere was lively, which added to the buzz, but it did get quite loud at times—especially when the birthday songs came on (several times during the evening!). It’s lovely to see people celebrating, though the music might benefit from being a touch shorter. We did find it on the pricier side, but overall, it was a really enjoyable experience with great service and tasty food.

Nice Italian restaurant in Banbury. There is plenty of choice on the menu. I came with a group of friends and we all enjoyed our choices. Portions are generous and full of flavour. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant itself is comfortable and characterful in decoration.

The food was absolutely amazing! Spaghetti special is my favourite and as always was a delight to enjoy!! I also ordered a small Prosecco bottle, really nice and very good price. Thank you :)
