My Husband and I stopped in for dinner. The food was cold and the bacon was not cooked. I could see the cook from our booth. He was eating while he cooked. So gross! We have ate here many times over the years. But this was just horrible! It was 2 weeks ago. We will never go back.

Patty was the BEST server I’ve ever had. She was attentive and checked on us an appropriate amount of times. She made my daughter’s day and I’m so glad she was our server. She deserves a raise and you should be so grateful to have her as an employee!

Being honest, I wasn't really expecting much from here. I merely decided to stop on my trip from DC to Toronto and was immediately impressed with the cleanliness. After being quickly seated with immediate service, we were provided with great tasting, hot food and coffee. I was even more shocked with how polite, *beautiful*, well spoken, friendly the servers were. Yes - plural. With the table behind me complaining about the simplest of things and acting as if it was the biggest let down in their entire life, their waitress maintained a certain professionalism that I myself would be the first to admit that could never be sustainable... And she did it with a smile!!! I was truly amazed. There are not enough stars to give for how impressed I was with my whole visit.

Was not expecting a great meal but the veggie omelette was actually very tasty and even the fruit was high quality. We waited from 5:30am until 6 for the restaurant to open after dropping family off at the airport at 4am. Once Dennys opened up it was amazing from start to finish. HO. LY. CRAP. BEST burger I’ve had in a long time! My spouse and I just left incredibly satisfied. Our food came in a timely manner, our waitress was lovely and welcoming as were the other staff we noticed. And the place is clean! I even went to use the bathroom and it looked like someone had just gotten done cleaning it. Beautiful! The kitchen and waitstaff have a good relationship and talk to each other with praise and respect! The food tastes incredibly fresh, burgers cooked perfect and didn’t fall apart. It’s wonderful here. The staff do an amazing job under pressure. They were horribly under equipped for a concert night with the other closest Denny's location closed temporarily and some customers were very unkind to them about the slow service, which should have been expected under the circumstances. They seemed short staffed for a Saturday morning and I understand that it was most likely out of their control. Our breakfast order took quite a while and did not come come out complete, we had to wait another 10 minutes for the rest of our order.

The waitress was awesome right off the bat and accommodated by toast request without batting an eye. Very much appreciated! The food was yummy as usual although we felt the kitchen skimped on the hashbrown portions on our plates. My go to tres leches pancakes were phenomenal and the crepes breakfast plates the teens got looked delicious. The skillet plate was also pretty great. Over all, a good Denny's experience, would definitely come back to this location.

This Denny’s always delivers great food and friendly service. Today Francesca was the absolute sweetest server and a manager stopped by for a table touch to make sure everything was good, which it was. I’m not huge on chain restaurants but Denny’s is an exception and the Batavia store is a little gem.

Our waitress was so kind even though she was completely by herself on Black Friday. I felt so bad for her. She was running around the whole entire place. She was very kind and attentive. The food was good. You can't go wrong with a grand slam. You do get quite a bit of food for what you pay. I've been here twice in the last few months, and my kids always ask to use the bathroom. Sadly during during both visits the bathrooms were pretty nasty. I mean feces on toilet seats and the sinks were out of order which is unsettling when do you really think about it. I do think that being understaffed has a lot to do with this issue. The dining area was very clean. The tables were clean and our waitress was very kind. There is so much potential here.

Used to come here once a week. It was always decent enough, but one day we went and the waitress and cook kept arguing with each other. Waitress kept coming to our table and bad-mouthing cook. Eventually they ended up in a screaming match and the cook left while shouting through the restaurant back at her. Gave off “Waffle House energy.” Haven’t been back since because food wasn’t amazing enough to deal with that chaos, and for months there were multiple times waitresses would say they were the only one to take care of the whole place because there weren’t enough other employees.

It was hard to tell if they're open because the parking lot and sidewalks were not shoveled or plowed, bought a couple cars gave us hope. The waitress was very attentive and the food was good. The men's bathroom was not very clean. Omelets for $18 😱 The Under $10 menu works well.

I occasionally go to this Dennys, every time I do the food is always good. Today I ordered something with eggs, I asked for them to be scrambled. My eggs were very brown and smelled burnt when I opened the container. There is not even an edible piece of egg to eat. I am disgusted. The food is okay but two of the last three times I ordered for delivery, I asked for no mushrooms and received mushrooms. When I called the store they said “it’s not our problem. Call DoorDash” when I told them I used the dennys app to order, not DoorDash, they still told me it was DoorDashs problem. DoorDash said it wasn’t their problem because I didn’t use their app. Now the second issue is… just look at the attached photo. This is ridiculous.

I'm not sure what was going on the day we were there. They weren't crowded but it was quite a while before someone took our order. When our food finally arrived most of it was cold so it wasn't very good. Cold scrambled eggs are not good. I ordered french fries with my sandwich and they were the only item that was hot. I will say they were good. The waitress and cashier were friendly. I was given a small discount. It will be some time before I go back there.

Ok so we went there after the falling in reverse and slaughter to prevail show. So to start off they were entirely understaffed. But the waitress was steady doing everything she could. The staff was loud and agruging over the music, cleanliness was subpar and the male employee was aggressive. Very unprofessional. Overall, its been a disappointing experience on three different occasions, so here's my review.

Went to lunch on Thursday, 12/12/24. Sitting at our table, we saw the cook behind the window, talking loud to a bunch of children. We also noticed that he brought them out food at various times. When he came out he had a smoke in his mouth. It wasn’t lit, then he went outside to smoke. When he returned with his sweatpants down to almost his knees. Then we noticed that he stopped and spoke to the children. Then he went to cook without washing his hands. Why would we eat the food that was handled by filthy hands. We felt like this is not a good establishment to dine. We have never been to a restaurant where children run freely.

We come here once in awhile and it’s always awful, service usually bad and the food is wrong or gross. Usually the servers are exhausted and say they have been having a horrible day. But this time our waitress was CHERRI! She really holds this Dennys together. I could hear her telling the cooks they made our food wrong and made them redo it before bringing it out to us and she apologized a lot. She’s by far the best server there. Honestly cherri is too good for this crappy Dennys. #freecherri

Stopped in at midnight to eat after a night out. The server took our order within a few minutes and we waited for nearly an hour without anything. No food, no communication from our server, nothing. There were multiple people walking in and out of the kitchen going to take smoke breaks. I would understand if it was busy but it wasn’t. I would understand if our orders were complicated but they weren’t. Just two grand slams. Overall just a bad experience.

My wife and I stopped for a quick breakfast it was nothing of the sort fire the cook he has no skills what so ever bacon was rubbery eggs undercooked pancakes were dry and horrible gave him 2 trys on the hash browns still under cooked ...I never write reviews this is a must I've been to a lot of Dennys all around the country never had such a bad experience. I could've ice skated with my shoes with the amount of grease that was on the dining room floor. The only place that was not full of grease was under the table I was sitting at. Im confused how a floor that is not behind the line is so greasy and unsanitary. That should've been my indication to leave but we were traveling all day and chose the first place we saw. My husband asked for extra scrambled eggs with no peppers or cheese. The gave him eggs with about 3 pounds of cheese and one small green pepper. I had cold cooked 10 times over hashbrowns. I asked for a side of French toast and when they came out, it was 2 pieces of dry bread with a sprinkle of powered sugar on it. To my understanding, fresh toast is dipped in eggs. One waitress picked her teeth then proceeded to the line window. Yuck 🤮 The tables were dirty and food took a long time to come out. Im confused because the establishment only had 5 tables with customers. They had three waitresses to include the one picking her teeth, so why the non urgency to clean or have food out in a timely manner? 45.00 bucks for a not so good experience. Another customer talking about the bathrooms and how strange that was. At that point I lost my appetite. I've read the reviews and the owner says the same generic response for everyone. At least wipe tables down when your not busy and maybe snag you a bottle of fabuloso and mop that floor.

First the food was great as was my waitress and the staff. There was a Military vet in the restaurant as well and we purchased his breakfast as also, and he too was also a BILLS FAN like me. As we were leaving, the Manager a little short guy said how does it feel to route for a team that will never win a championship. I looked at him and thought he was just trying to be funny, but then he carried on. I then proceeded to ask how he would like to try and eat with no teeth(I was kidding) but yet again he wanted to tell me about his bet and keep going. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT in your place again as should any BILLS fans as you were RUDE. As a Manager you should get some training on how to Treat you customers who wear BILLS gear.

We stopped here on the road yesterday with our family and we while we know Denny’s is not fine dining, we were very disappointed in the condition of the restaurant. Literal garbage all over the floor, tables that sat with food/dishes on them the entire duration of our meal and the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, with feces running down the bowl of the toilet. It honestly made me scared to even touch my food to begin with, and the meal itself was disappointing as well. The “oven baked Mac and cheese” I got was the stuff you’d get out of a tub in an elementary school or a prison. The only decent part was our server, who was very friendly and efficient, however, she was the only person working on the floor at dinner time (we were there from about 5:30-6:30pm) so could only do so much, of course. Definitely don’t risk the potential food poisoning here!!

Had been craving pancakes from this restaurant for quite some time waited a while to be seated, our waitress was cleaning tables, I ordered eggs over medium and they came back runny. The plate used to be full of hash browns we got very little, the bacon and sausage were cold. One of us had to eat with plastic silverware, the waitress said they ran out of regular silverware (no clean ones). The waitress never came and asked for a warm up on my coffee. Will definitely not be going back there again.

Dear Denny’s Corporate Team, I’m writing to share a firsthand experience I had at your Batavia, NY location that left me deeply concerned and heartbroken for the staff on duty. As a 20-year veteran in the restaurant industry, I know firsthand what it means to work a tough shift but what I witnessed went far beyond that. On the evening of my visit, 8-1-2025 I watched as this location operated with no official servers on the floor. The only people working were a cook, a dishwasher, and one front-of-house team member, all of whom were doing their absolute best to hold things together. There were minors present who appeared to be trying to help manage capacity overwhelmed, and clearly left to navigate responsibilities they shouldn’t have had to handle. The situation became so dire that I felt the need to stepp in to help, using my experience to complete many DoorDash orders and all in house guests. The staff welcomed my assistance, and we worked together as a team to keep things running but I cannot express enough how unacceptable it is for any restaurant to be left so desperately short-staffed. These employees were exhausted but never rude. They were kind, respectful, and communicative. They did not complain but they shouldn’t have had to struggle like that in the first place. No one should. It’s not just unsustainable; it’s unsafe and unfair to both employees and customers. I implore Denny’s to take a serious look at what’s happening in Batavia. These employees deserve support, structure, and proper staffing. This location is hanging on by the incredible effort of people who clearly care but they are being failed by a system that hasn’t given them the basic tools or backup they need. The cook made every dish and each one came out hot and delicious. Please consider this an urgent call for change. The heart of a restaurant is its people and they need help. I am sorry but it was overall shameful.

Service wasn’t terrible. But very understaffed. The food was not good. Hash browns undercooked. Pancakes had a weird taste. Bacon was greasy and rubber. Couldn’t get my favorite milkshake. I was dissatisfied and disappointed. Dennys is usually solid for me on breakfast.

1 hour 15 minute wait for food. Never warned. Food is overpriced, burger sucked, no flavor, beyond greasy. Onion rings were burnt passed crisp. My son's chicken tenders were beyond burnt. $47 for one burger and chicken tenders. The cook was yelling profanity and sounded like throwing things. Waitress was very sweet.

Everything was decent except the food, we’re visiting from out of town came here for some breakfast 3 out of four of us had horrible inedible food eggs too runny with uncooked egg white, over cooked scrambled eggs, cold sausage, cold hash browns, and unmelted cheese that was halfway out of the omelette between the four of us needless to say we won’t be coming back when we’re around this area again. The cook should be either re trained or fired.

Food was absolutely disgusting first of all we only got two bites of hash browns each and they were smothered in an inch of grease our plates were covered in grease most disgusting meal I’ve ever had! The waitress was wonderful very friendly and caring she noticed the amount of hash browns and immediately requested more before we even said anything unfortunately they were just as submerged in oil if not worse!

Disappointing Experience at Denny's We ordered the Grand Slam breakfast, and the toast that came with it was fully burned. I was astonished that the burned toast made it all the way from the kitchen to our table without anyone noticing or deciding to replace it. It passed through several pairs of eyes, yet none of them took action. When we informed the waitress that the toast was completely burned, she simply said, "Okay, I'll get you a new one," without offering any apologies. This was the worst experience I've ever had at Denny's. The service was terrible—our waitress never checked on our table to see if we needed anything or if everything was okay. We had to go out of our way to call her over just to order pancakes for the kids. The customer service was truly lacking. I will not be returning to this location.

Just left dennys in batavia. Waitress was nice, place was ok, food was absolutely horrible. 48$ for 3 extra runny over easy eggs that were not edible. 2 thinly sliced peices of "thick" cut bacon 2 sausage that were ok, toast was good and has browns were good. Waitress asked to remake eggs but we were almost done with our food. Water had cheese in it. Oj was good. At least offer to take something off a 48$ bill! You can see all 6 eggs were still on the plate! Never going back to that dennys 🤮🤮🤮

I'm just going to start out by saying our server, I don't remember her name, but she was really nice! But.. Don't get the crepes.. unless you don't mind chewing on a whoopee cushion. I know that some people are going to go- "well, it's your fault going there for crepes".. my thought is- why offer it on the menu if you can't do it correctly?! Somebody else got wings. The oil tasted like they hadn't changed it since the Great depression. Idk man, I'd rather get a bean cheese burrito from taco hell, cuz it's actually tasty, not 'as' unhealthy as Dennys, and $2.14!

Everyone else was closed on a Sunday so Denny's it was. Soon as my sister and I walked in, I noticed a table of 6 and a table of 2 that hadn't gotten served yet..So I was skeptical of staying. Service in the kitchen was slow..I order potato soup from the menu..no potato soup..so I order fries with beef gravy..No beef gravy..Ok Turkey gravy...no turkey gravy...less than warm plain fries..I had 4 of them..the rest wasted. My sister ordered chicken fried chicken dinner with country gravy..chicken was salty...corn less than warm...most of it..wasted..Not Impressed. And I felt bad for the tables who waited as long as they did ahead of me.. unacceptable.

We were greeted and seated right away. We went at midnight. Unfortunately, the table was dirty. We sat for a while before our server greeted us. I think our server didn't want to wait on us. The server we did get was wonderful. We came in before a little rush, and even busy, she checked on us. The food was mediocre at best. The pancakes tasted like they'd been cooked in onions.

This is the second night in a row Denny’s messed up my order. Yesterday they at least let the driver know they didn’t have apple crisp. Today they sent me the order and charged me for apple crisp on the receipt and just straight up didn’t put the apple crisp in the bag
