The atmosphere ALONE makes me want to go over and over and over again. It was a beautiful day. The service was EXCELLENT. The attention provided to each of us was outstanding and timely. Requests were respected and honored. The food was good. I was a little disappointed they did not have the Snapper but that gives me a reason to go back 😉. I would love to see how it is at sunset or the evening. Sitting by the water is so relaxing and creates a mood that you could never be upset in. A repeat visit is coming and I can't wait.

**5-Star Review for Walls Wharf in Bayville** I recently had the pleasure of dining at Walls Wharf in Bayville, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. **Food:** The menu offers a delightful variety of fresh seafood and other gourmet options. I ordered the lobster roll, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The lobster was fresh and succulent, perfectly seasoned, and generously portioned. The clam chowder was rich and creamy, with a perfect blend of flavors. Every bite was a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail. **Service:** The service was impeccable. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and had a warm, friendly demeanor. He made excellent recommendations and ensured that our glasses were never empty. The staff's professionalism and genuine hospitality truly enhanced our dining experience. **Atmosphere:** The atmosphere at Walls Wharf is simply unbeatable. We dined on the outdoor deck, where we enjoyed stunning views of the sunset over the water. The ambiance is relaxed yet elegant, making it perfect for a special occasion or a casual dinner. The sound of the waves and the gentle sea breeze made our evening even more memorable. Overall, Walls Wharf offers an exceptional dining experience with delicious food, top-notch service, and a breathtaking setting. I highly recommend this gem in Bayville to anyone looking for a memorable meal by the water. Five stars all the way!

Great place to eat if you like the beach. Get a table on the sand. Had a great meal with good atmosphere Memorial day, just before the parade. Waiter was attentive and food was served hot and was very tasty.

The food and the service is great. The location is unbeatable! We only came there for an early lunch,.right when they open, so had no problems getting a table. I'd imagine it gets busy later in the day

Beautiful venue. We watched a wedding and later, a proposal on the beach. You eat outside and there's easily room for 100 to attend a wedding in the beach, with cocktail hour next to it on the beach, and there's a room inside beautifully set up for 100 to party. Meanwhile you can just go for dinner or drinks and enjoy a gorgeous view of Long Island Sound. Great seafood, too!

Delicious, what a great place to sit relax and enjoy with friends and family. We sat in the bar area, by the fireplace. Chose some items from their bar menu and happy hour menu. Fish and chips were great!! Server was awesome, we had a 6 year old and he was great at accommodating a child.

Stopped by for a snack and the view of the Long Island Sound. There since 1920, Wall's Wharf (the wharf is gone) has beach-front seating, an event space, dining room, and an old-wood bar lounge. The steak tidbits app is garlic crostini with sliced steak and mozzarella cheese. Beers on tap and a fine selection of spirits. Nice place to go when out for a drive through the Gold Coast! Would go again.

We happen to go in the rare nice October “summer” day- no regrets. They were packed but Ashley was an excellent server. She had the whole outside patio area to herself (probably 20 tables) and was fantastic. Drinks were great and we had the pizza and soup and had no complaints. Great view, parking is a hassle but a 5 minute problem. Will definitely come again thanks to the service and atmosphere!

A wonderful place to dine - quiet and on the beach. I will warn you it is on the pricey side - but worth it for the food. Servers are sweet and the dishes are elegantly prepared. The menu gives the impression that the dishes will be rather strong based on the descriptions but the flavors meld well together and everything was fantastic. Definitely a charming spot for a night out or special occasion!

I hear there's a wait here but we got there right at noon on a Sunday for lunch. Super nice people working there, even the valet guy!! Great server and host with pretty good food. Great place for kids to play on the beach while you eat. Doesn't get much better than that. Get the lobster roll, it's a must!!!

Great Food, Great Atmosphere, and Great View. Valet parking only. Bathrooms are clean. Currently, there is dining on the Deck and on the beach; specify which you would like when you leave your name with the hostess. FYI-bring sunblock or hat if you are on the beach for dining, there are no umbrellas for the tables.

Great staff. Great dining experience. Lovely patrons except the kid who ran out and hung from a palm front until it broke... parents just watched while they ate outside on the deck. smh. yep that's them in the picture.

I have been dining at Walls Wharf for more years than I care to count. The view has always made up for the foods shortcomings. However, the new Chef has brought the dining experience to a whole new level. There is no denying the atmosphere is a 10 but tonight, the food game leveled up to match the stunning sunset. Go. You won’t be disappointed. Ask to sit in Tara’s section. She’s wonderful!

We arrived to watch the sunset! We reviewed the menu and couldn't get past the list of delicious sounding appetizers. We decided to create a 6 course meal for the two of us of just appetizers. That plan worked out amazing. You can't go wrong here. Staff was great, Gisele took care of us tonight. The ambience was great. And the bar seemed to be a great place to be with some people taking advantage of the weather on the outside patio. Looking forward to returning to check out the rest of the menu!

Walls Wharf is just incredible!! My husband and I wanted to have a vow renewal on the beach. I had my daughters bridal shower here a few years ago and it was amazing our guests still talk about how great it was so of course walls was our 1st choice!! I cannot say enough about Frank the catering manager. He really made our dreams come true that day! The most professional caring great guy all around. Thank you so much to everyone at Walls Wharf for making our day memorable and beautiful!!

Stopped here randomly for lunch on a Saturday and I’m so happy we did! The parking lot has valet, so need to worry about parking. The Waite staff was attentive and polite. The decor inside is classy and elegant. We came in on a summer afternoon and if you’re lucky you can sit in the back for a great view and vibe. They even had an acoustic guitar singer and it just really set the mood for a summer afternoon. The food was tasty. I ordered the lobster roll and my husband ordered the burger, everything was cooked well. If you’re looking for some afternoon or happy hour fun, definitely stop in!

Do yourself a favor and just order the firecracker shrimp to start with the Lobster Roll for your entree. There’s nothing else you need to get here, that’s the perfect order at this place. I absolutely love the firecracker shrimp, it has so much flavor and it’s fried perfectly. The lobster roll tastes so fresh and they load it up. You cannot go wrong with this order. Highly recommend

This place can be quite busy but with great food and the beautiful waterfront seating, it's worth the wait. We were lucky enough to get seated right away with a nearly full venue, but do expect to wait around peak meal times and on the weekends (weather allowing). You can be seated on the patio or sand based on availability of course. We ordered a piña colada, lobster taco appetizer, lobster roll and shrimp BLT. Everything was pretty much amazing, lobster was very fresh and flavorful, shrimp was crispy and the colada was one of the best we have had. I do suggest anything with lobster from Walls Wharf, BLT was a one-time thing but worth a shot. To sum it all up: do expect higher prices, staff are all wearing masks (just cover your noses please), seat spacing is mostly adequate, valet parking is available, wait time can go upwards of an hour and amazing food.

One of my favorite restaurants. Once we found this spot weve gone back every time we travel to LI! It's definitely not cheap, but it's delicious. Great seafood, great service, great view of the bay! It's so nice you can sit on the beach. The clams oreganata are *chef's kiss*. Cold Oysters on the half shell too!

Wow do we love Walls Wharf! We’ve always loved this restaurant, so we decided to have our wedding here and it was absolutely perfect! Frank, the event coordinator made all our dreams come to life! He was attentive, fun, and really went above and beyond for us. The food was fantastic and the service was great! And the views/scenery can’t be beat. It was a beautiful wedding and the most perfect day. Thank you so much Walls Wharf!

Food was fantastic. Started off with seafood tower. Better than most seafood towers I have had including in NYC. I had the Tuna it was cooked perfectly . Grilled on outside raw in center with a sauce that was amazing. Desserts were all very good. Coffee finished the meal perfectly. Are waitress Jody was very nice and helpful in making suggestions. She helped round out a great dinning experience. We will be back.

When places like this are gone, the world will be a monochrome, uninteresting place. A cosy, attractive venue, with a lovely, peaceful view. Friendly, helpful staff and really good food. The oysters come fresh on Thursday, so I will always plan to visit Thursday evening!

This is my wife's favorite place, particularly because of the location, literally on the beach. It makes you feel like you are in a carribean island. The menu selection is good as is the food. The crab cake had an island taste to it and the lobster bisque had fresh lobster.

So... I made reservations at Ocean restaurant. The request to be seated by the water or window was disregarded by the host. I walked away angry losing $10 to valet parking... patron recommended Wall's Wharf!!! And OMG!!! The service, the beautiful hostess, the seating, the view, the food, the environment... My birthday was salvaged! My waiter Kevin is amazing! Fast service, attentive, and professional! Definitely will come again!

We had our 35th wedding anniversary in the private dining room with our family and friends in March this year. The drinks, food and the service were excellent. The manager Frank Carr took great care to ensure that all our 40 guests were well cared for. The firecracker shrimp and the calamari were amazing! The main courses of salmon, chicken and pasta were delicious. The bartenders and the servers were superb. The cocktails were great and many of our guests called us to say that we had chosen a perfect place for an anniversary dinner. Highly recommend, will go again in summer; this time to enjoy the beach and the cocktails!

Wonderful place for a Sunday afternoon late lunch and birthday celebration 🎂 for my sister!!! Our server Kevin was quite attentive to all our requests, especially filling our water glasses during this heat wave 🥵!!! without asking, he even sent us home with ice water ☺️ We especially enjoyed our champagne 🍾 toast and the assortment of appetizers were absolutely delicious 😋 by the time our entrée was brought to the table we ate it with gusto!!! Everything about our afternoon was fantastic, including the scoop of ice cream with a birthday candle. My sister and I relaxed on the patio enjoying the sun 🌞 and the atmosphere 😎. We weren't able to go down to the beach, since I use a walker for my mobility 😕 Hopefully upon my next visit home from Florida I will venture out to the beach ⛱️ that you can see the shoreline of Connecticut since this awesome restaurant is on the north shore of Long Island 🏝 👌 😀 👍 😋🥰🍽🍾🥂🎂🍨

What can be said about the absolutely beautiful and perfect location of this one-of-a-kind (seasonal) outdoor on the beach seating, having dinner as the sun is setting. 👏AMAZING 👏 😍 🙌 ❤️ The food is very good. The calamari was perfect, which is an easy dish to get wrong if it's even slightly overcooked but this was served perfectly! The waiter Kenny was very pleasant and helpful. This was the first truly picture perfect summer sunset of 2023 and was very grateful to have witnessed it and with a lovely dining experience at the same time. 🙌❤️😍👍👌😇

went there for lunch and tried 2 dishes on the menu. The food was good with right portion size too; i wish that they would have brought some bread too. Service on the other hand was really slow, despite the fact that there were only a few tables with customers. Looked like understaffing is a problem. The location is unbeatable with beautiful views. However the view was a bit stained by the lack of clean beach view.

I'm from WA state and was on Long Island for my son's wedding. There was no way I was going to go back to the West Coast without trying East Coast clam chowder. The view was amazing the staff was friendly and the clam chowder was the best, huge clams in every bite. My rating reflects my limited interaction, but it looked like a great place to sit and enjoy a meal and a drink.

What a gorgeously stunning place right on the beach in the Centre Island area to grab a bite to eat. We ordered the firecracker shrimp which was insanely good, the fresh French, baguette with garlic, clams oreganata and the fried calamari, which was just OK. Do not leave without ordering the shrimp and the clams. Friends had the Caesar salad, which was huge and looked amazing as well as the lobster salad. I had the divers scallops and fresh vegetables which was cooked to perfection. The portion was kind of small, five tiny scallops. And the calamari was not great. Hence four stars instead of five. Also at a time where this place was not busy, the service was slow and the food took a while to come out. But given the location, it was well worth the wait. The cocktails are great and the vibe is super chill, literally 20 feet from the ocean in 5 feet from the sand. Stop in and have appetizers and cocktails, you can thank me later

J
Joshua Rosenwasser

It’s a crime to charge $80 for what the kitchen does to their lobsters. We had two on our table and chewed those overdone, curled tails for a long time; though with smiles on our faces as we watched one of the most breathtaking sunsets in recent memory. Our table neighbors had a very similar experience. Every one of the staff took care of us exceptionally well and the chowder was delicious. See you next summer.

Was looking for a place to eat relatively close to Sagamore hill and came across this gem in our search for seafood! The restaurant has a great beachside view and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The room by the bar is a little stuffy, so would recommend that you get seated in the dining room if you can or outdoors (though it can be a little windy). We ordered a dozen oysters (which we wish were shucked better, though still tasty), fried calamari, and a range of entrees from the Connecticut lobster roll, to a fish filet, firecracker burger, and risotto. Overall, the food was fresh and tasty (with the lobster roll being a favorite). The burger was interesting, although it at times felt like it was too much (meaning the shrimp was a little extra…). On the downside, I’ll say: be prepared to pay up for the food here - while tasty, it’s definitely on the pricier side. Would stop by again if I’m ever in the area!

Such a gorgeous view literally on the beach almost felt like I was away. Also on bright side the food was good, I have been to many places with waterfront dinning where the food is sub par so this was a great surprise. I had the halibut it was fresh and seasoned well. The staff and service was wonderful! Will definitely go back!

John Kourbage

Josh is the best waiter. Fast, efficient, and on point. Guy is a legend. The lobster was great. The burger was delicious. Stuffed shrimp was amazing. Snow Crab sucked. But that’s wasn’t the restaurant’s fault. Snow Crab just takes way too much effort. Ate here in the summer on the beach.

A

Great views and great service. The drinks are watered down, and the fish tastes like microwaved frozen fish at fresh fish prices. Not at all worth it.

E
Elisa N

Beautiful sunset view. Service was poor. No utensils until after the food was served. We were seated by 7 and they already ran out of steamers and bread. The baked clams had some sort of brown gravy over it and the bread crumbs were undercooked and soggy. We ordered the grilled snapper and it was just ok. Sort of like a catering hall dish. Husband had the Hot Pot. The seafood seemed like it was cooked hours ago and tossed in the sweet tomato sauce. Mussels were shriveled and dry. Had to ask 3 times for my wine. Nice view but not worth it in my opinion.

S
Sam B

The view is amazing, good and service is okay. Not too many non-fish options.

K
Kevin W.

Service and atmosphere were great, but the tiny umbrellas on the beach tables did nothing to block the sun, and the chairs sink into the sand easily. The food was fine, though my lobster tail was overcooked. And for the price paid, I expect better than just "fine".

I have a mixed review. I will say what a recommend and what i disliked. I thought the servers were amazing. Recommend the seared tuna and the oysters. The watermelon margarita is amazing. I liked the dessert. This place had very cheap plastic chairs for the price your paying and it is on the water but it's by a loud venue with people partying. We had to wait over an hour for a table and that's understandable it's the summer. After an hour we checked with the hostess and it turned out she deleted our waiting slot and we had to wait even longer. The parking was valet and we were in line for 30 minutes waiting for our car to get checked. In the middle of dinner we had to grab our keys because the valet said they were leaving for the night. The fisherman's platter with crab and other seafood wasn't exciting honestly for the price and the portion was very small. This felt like one of those places that wants to be fancy but just didn't execute it well. I definitely perfer other seafood spots. But definitely judge for yourself

M

Beautiful location and was waiting months for anniversary dinner. Good drinks and waitress service but forgot our appetizer and brought out our main course . We pointed this out politely, and they took back the mains making a joke they wouldn’t reheat it. Waited another half hour for our single appetizer to come out. Was the firecracker shrimp and it was great. However, they brought out our main courses, and it was clearly the same food that they had put in the back and even forgot to reheat. Politely told the waitress, and then they re-made our mains , but it took another half hour. The seafood broil was l good, but my wife’s steak sandwich was poor. Honestly this was a disappointing anniversary dinner And likely will not go back again

L
Linda Hillel

Very disappointed! We have been visiting this venue for decades, and it has lost its charm and atmosphere. 1. The staff looked frightened and bullied by the kitchen staff; 2. the younger bussing staff was obviously overwhelmed; 3. the smoked salmon appetizer was NOT smoked salmon (raw fish dipped in brine, according to our queries), and the chef tried to hide that by drowning it in a tasteless sauce; 4. the toasted bread corners touted as "crustini" were soggy and the size of a wine cork, and only two tiny pieces for a shared appetizer for three adults; 5. When asking for salad dressing on the side, we were told the wait staff was instructed by the kitchen not to provide that; 5. The menu for a Sunday lunch or brunch changed over the years, with no choices for vegetable lovers; 6. There was no Soup of the Day offered; 7. Management was absent - no one came to our table to ask how our food or service was; 8. There was only one very speedy and talented valet, yet we still had to wait over 25 minutes to park; 9. The ladies room had a stall out of order; Needless to say, we will NOT be bringing our out-of-town guests in the future, nor will we recommend the catering for special occasions any more. This venue used to be a high-class hide-a-way, but now the only thing "high" is the prices of sub-par food.

B
Brisell Rodriguez

The place has an amazing view and I highly recommend for drinks and happy hour. But the food is terrible and overpriced. The lobster roll is ok, I’ve definitely had better, but to pay $28 for a mediocre chicken sandwich, which consisted of thin white bread, small little chicken breast and two slices of red pepper with melted cheese is ridiculous. I expected more. And the chicken was dried! I’ll only go back to this place for drinks and that is it. Service was good. I’ll give them that.

Came for Mother’s Day at 5pm. Did not get food until 7pm and then was told that they were out of steak and lobster. Half the table got food other half had to order something different. Almost 8pm and still haven’t gotten any food. Asked to speak to manager and was told the manager was not here today and was sitting down to dinner with her family (ironic that’s what I’m trying to do)

E
Evelyn Romano

We went today for dinner the food was horrible and over price the drink awful the only thing was the view the service was not good we order mussels asked for bread they told me 6.50 I wasn’t asking for a price but anyway I will not go back there . In the past was a great place to eat not anymore . The drinks didn’t taste like anything and over price 26 for half a small glass of margarita things are expensive but please

It depends on why you're going. If you want a place with beautiful atmosphere where you can eat outside on the beach or on the deck, this place has beautiful views and is very relaxing. There is valet parking, since they don't have a large lot, and he was fabulous... A tall, friendly, positive, Afro-American guy who is definitely an asset to this place. He was so welcoming and fun during the brief encounter we had with him. It's pricey, but it's waterfront and that's to be expected. They used to play soft background music, and I felt like I was transformed to Tuscany! This last time, there was no music. We have been there many times and have unfortunately found that the quality of their food has tremendously gone downhill probably since covid. Their amazing lobster bisque was so thick and globby with a pile of real lobster meat in the center, which sounds wonderful of course, but it was tasteless! We ordered two other dishes, and nothing lived up to our expectations. It's sad to say that we probably will never go back there again.

Be prepared to wait — long time!!!! This restaurant seriously needs better management. While our server was great and most of the staffs were friendly, the overall service was unacceptable. We waited about 20 minutes just to get valet parking, another 25 minutes to be seated, and over an hour for our food — including oysters, which shouldn’t take that long at all. By almost 10 PM, we still hadn’t been served our dishes. The staff did their best to be nice, but that doesn’t make up for the disorganized service. The location is nice, I liked the beach front view. The service was not as I expected, very slow. We ordered two drinks, an aperol spritz which was good and a frozen strawberries margarita which we didn't like very much. We ate French fries and fried calamari, both were crunchy but not very tasty. I found the price a little too high for the place and the food we ate. Overall it was a not entirely pleasant experience.

Walking in was a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful sunset. The service and the staff is horrible. They also need to add a better kids menu which was also horrible. The food was tasteless. The waitress we have was not appreciative with the tip we left her. As we were eating our food I also order a meal for take out for one of my relative. We finished and pay for our meal and the take out wasn’t ready for us. We have to wait an additional 30 minutes for the take out. When I ask the staff about it they all were rude. I noticed and felt this restaurant is also bias towards color customers. The whit customer was treated better than the color. I am a very observant person and it was another colored family being treated the same as ours. If you’re not white please don’t go to this restaurant. It’s not worth the money I spend for a family of 6 and also one take out over. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It’s my first and last time coming here.

A very disappointing experience. My calamari was over cooked, but that was only the start of the problem. My friend ordered a salad with tuna. Ten minutes after ordering it the waitress came over and apologized that they were out of tuna, somewhat inexplicable at a seafood restaurant, but what can you do. Then my friend ordered the watermelon salad with chicken. Ten minutes later the waitress informed us that they were out of chicken! I know it sounds completely ridiculous, but this really happened. By this point my lunch had arrived. My friend opted for the shrimp. I finished eating before his food even arrived. After eating we discussed the likelihood they wouldn't charge us for the meal /third choice my friend ordered. He's a regular there. Unfortunately the bill was for everything with absolutely no adjustment for the horrible service. When we mentioned it to the manger, Kenny, he said he didn't recognize my friend and that the owners would kill him if he comped one meal. An absolutely unacceptable response. The cost of the one meal was a minimum of two customers, a terrible review and the loss of lots of good will. If anyone asks me I will suggest they avoid Walls Wharf like the plague, but hey they did collect on the watermelon salad, so that's something. Our waitress was very embarrassed by the whole affair.

Terrible service. Terrible experience and the waitress did everything to take the good time away from us after I signed the bill. Now I really regret giving her $60 tips. We ordered plenty of food, 2 rounds of drinks and desset. Before we finished the second round of drink, I paid the bill. Then I left the table and played at the beach with my kids. When I got back to get some drink, I found they cleaned my table and my waitress asked me to leave. We got kicked out from our table before we finished our drinks and the waitress just kept arguing it's because we asked for the bill. Stay away from this place.

I drove my Tesla and don’t have spare key for the valet parking guy; he told me the only way to park is by himself; I don’t feel comfortable to give my cellphone to him , so I parked my own car. By the the time I leave, he parked a truck behind my car and left. I complained to the daughter of the owner and was told the restaurant hired the third part for the parking; very bad service , will never come back again.

If I could leave negative stars I would. This is possibly the worst restaurant I’ve ever been too. Not only was the food cold and half of my order missing when it came out, but the waiter didn’t even greet us when we first sat down, just dropped a half of a glass of water and returned over 30 min later to take our order. Never came back to check on us or give us more water (we were there over 2 hours with no drinks) and when we finally saw him and asked for the check he was missing for another 30 min. Not to mention you’re sitting on shitty plastic outdoor furniture on some rocky sand with no table cloth or anything and the bathrooms were so gross and covered in filth with no toilet paper. Not to mention the valet guy couldn’t find my car which I then had to look for myself. Spare yourself the utterly disappointing night I experienced and had to pay for.

Wall’s Wharf is a Long Island treasure. After my lunch experience today and my dealings with the manager Kenny, I think it should be buried. My friend and I came for lunch today. I ordered the tuna sesame salad and my friend ordered calamari and steamers. Our waitress Tara (who was lovely and understanding throughout), told me there was no tuna by the time my friend had already been served his calamari. I decided on the watermelon feta salad with chicken. My friend was now served his steamers as a main course and I was told they had no chicken. I decided on the shrimp add on and it was delivered after my friend finished both of his courses. Tara was very apologetic but obviously things were out of her hands. When the check came, there was no price adjustment for what just happened. I asked to see the manager Kenny. He was totally unsympathetic as to what just happened. No apology whatsoever. He did say that I had the shrimp and was charged for the chicken. Kenny could not have cared less. He did not offer amends of any type. He said the owner would have his head if he made any adjustment to my bill. What about the owner worrying about who the restaurant’s manager is and whether there is the food in the kitchen that the menu advertises? What a lack of awareness and customer service. Totally abysmal. I have been to Wall’s Wharf many times —as recently as last Monday. I told that to Kenny and his response was that he is there all the time and never saw me. HUH???? Wall’s Wharf is a great venue but this situation has soured me in the place. I am giving my experience one star only because zero stars is not an option. Not any way to run a restaurant.

If you don’t want to read this entire rant/paragraph, the message is save your money and go literally anywhere else. But, for the people who have some time and want a reason to skip out, let me explain why as regulars at Wall’s Wharf we will NEVER step into this establishment again. It’s a sunny, gorgeous Sunday at a beach restaurant and they have one valet person working, causes quite a bit of backup, okay whatever, we’re patient, things happen. We get into the restaurant and look at the menu, things look good, vibes are up. We order bread (typically don’t love when bread isn’t included but okay every place is different), and proceed to be served the soggiest bread I have ever been served in my life. Just smothered aggressively in oil. Moving on, our waitress was a mess. Quite frankly I don’t think it was entirely her fault, the place was blatantly understaffed. They didn’t have enough people to service both outside and inside so she was running back and forth. What I don’t understand is the sheer lack of customer service that we were offered. She was cursing in front of our family and my grandparents, sweat dripping and talking about how much she was sweating, not listening and talking over us before we finished speaking or asking questions. It was not just her; the bussers would put plates down without cleaning any empties up, and it was obvious, they were shoving stuff to fit. It wasn’t until we starting asking and helping them bus the table that they said “Oh” and even then, we had to assist. In regards to entrée, just go ahead and ignore the descriptions on what your getting, you will be getting mashed potatoes and string beans with carrots regardless. Everything bland and flavorless. We get to the check, I will also preface, my family will never not tip. We work in service and at the end of the day we can recognize mis management and appreciate the people providing for us regardless of our opinions. The waitress took it upon herself to do the math for 20% and largely wright it on our bill. She said “She just wanted to help us out so we didn’t have to do the math ourselves”. I’m sorry not a good end. Of course, we still gave it to her but we can do the math ourselves thank you. And before you say, oh this is just an older person with too many opinions. I’m in my 20s and have been to dive bars with more decorum and better food.

Me and my friends went to this place on July 4. I have gone there like two years ago and it was really nice with all the fireworks we were sat outside with a very nice customer service. But this time when we went back the we couldn’t even sit outside because just to sit outside you needed to pay hundred dollar per person. Which is insane and most of their menu item was increased and prize because of July 4th and there was only few options to pick from they made a whole new menu for July 4th. They didn’t even have any items that we went for. Then the waiter literally spilled a whole piña colada with other things on my friend. Very disappointed with their service.

For a restaurant that charges $30 for 4 shrimps, it demonstrates the worst Long Island has to offer. We were bothered & cursed at by a waitress with mental issues and the owner wasn't concerned. Good food, nice environment, but we were unhappy about the slow and careless waitress, thus decided to leave a 10% tip. The waitress wasn't happy and chased us outside the restaurant asking for more money, which we felt was inappropriate and rude. We gave her more money but soon regretted and went back in. The owner was kind enough to get our tip back. Then as we were about to leave, the waitress came in, yelled words like "there's a special place in hell for people like you" at us, which suggests she either spend too much time reading Internet memes or has some mental issues. We talked to the owner again but were told to leave. Piece of advice - tip at least 20% no matter what kind of service you get, or you'll end up in hell like we do.

Waited 45 mins to even order. One of the worst waiters. Completely inattentive. Place was half empty on a Sunday night. Management needs to do a better job training their staff

This is what you can expect the crispy chicken Milanese to look like, it was very bland/flavorless this place is overpriced and overrated, the beach view is beautiful, but it’s definitely not worth it for low quality food. McDonald’s chicken nuggets are thicker than this piece of chicken they served, oh and btw, they’ll dump a ton of salad to cover the chicken.

I came here with my husband and two of our friends on Saturday night. We had to wait 50 minutes in the valet line to park because they only had one person working. We were seated and it took our waiter 20 minutes just to come offer us water and take our drink order, when he did he only asked half our table and then left before the rest of us placed our order…he just walked away and took another 20 minutes to come back. This happened repeatedly with our waiter it was the most unprofessional and rude experience I’ve ever experienced with anyone on a wait staff. None of us liked our food. The lobster was well overcooked and they were out of basic foods like Calamari and their garlic bread. They served my husband a loaded baked potato with full strips of completely raw bacon stuffed in the middle. Due to the waiter’s consistent disappearance alone we were at this restaurant for over three hours. We came for dinner only, and should have been in and out within half that time (wait aside since they don’t take reservations- but probably should considering all of the above). All in all I would stay clear. We came earlier in the week on Monday and had the same waiter and got the same experience with him, however we enjoyed our food so we decided in spite of the bad service to come back for a fun night out at a restaurant on the water. Go somewhere else if that’s what you are looking for.

First time dining here, and unfortunately our experience was ruined before we even walked in. The valet aggressively told me to leave because my fiancé self-parked our car and threatened to have it towed. When we finished dinner, we returned to find our vehicle deliberately blocked in. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. We will not be returning.

Worst meal I have had all summer!!! Went for dinner with my family on 8/28/24 and spent about $280.00 including tip, and the food sucked. I have been here many times before and for the most part the quality of the food has always been good. I don’t know what has changed since the last time I ate here, but everything was horrible. They should have refunded us entire check since we couldn’t eat our meals… That’s how bad it was. It’s a shame, since it’s a beautiful location on the beach. They need a new cook! If they don’t do something about fixing this situation, they will go bankrupt very soon. It’s a real shame that the quality has deteriorated to such an extreme.

I usually don’t like to do this but…. I was there last night. This WAS my absolute favorite restaurant. I’ve been coming here for years. When we pulled up there was only 1 valet parking and getting customers cars. Then we go in. We were told 30 minutes for outside. We were hungry so we sat inside. There was 1 waiter. It took over 30 minutes for him to come over to us. Another 30 minutes to get my drink because the bar was too busy. The food took another 45 minutes to arrive at our table. The kid who brought us our food was covered in sweat. Pulling his shirt from his body then touch my dish. I order the stuffed shrimp which I’ve never seen such small pieces that were over cooked and cold. I cannot believe how this amazing restaurant has fallen. It’s expensive. Don’t waste your money

Had dropped off some clients at the Crescent Beach club for a wedding. Decided to get some food at Wall's Wharf, where I used to visit frequently as I was growing up. It was a toss up between the scallops and the Berkshire pork chop. So, the pork chop won. When it was brought out it was missing the apple relish. It was 10 minutes before the waiter came over to see If everything was okay. When he finally did and I brought the apple relish to his attention he told me they were out and didn't ask me if I wanted something. Don't get me wrong. The pork chop, the mashed and the vegetables were good, but I really think if the kitchen is out of an item in the description of the dish you tell the customer. I would have happily ordered the scallops! I mentioned this to the waiter on the way out and that was the first time I was told I could have just ordered something else Not at all what I would have ever expected from a restaurant of this caliber. I'll have to try again sometime this summer.

Really disappointed. 50 dollar a dozen oysters should be shucked well, not prying each one out. Mussels had a nice sauce but the mussels them selves were very low quality. Service was not good. Will not come back!

Waited 2 hours for a table because they don't take reservations, fine whatever. Food is ok, a bit over priced compared to quality of what you get. I was served wine in a plastic cup (which I think is absolutely tacky) not only that food and deserts was served in aluminum take out instead of a plate. I know COVID 19 is in effect and they are trying their best to accommodate everyone but this is just classless. Been to plenty of restaurants out door during COVID and my food served on porcelain dinnerware and with my wine in a glass. Next time I want to spend $400.00 for seafood food and drinks I'll go to Catch NYC. Beware, don't waste your time or money.

I was really disappointed with the service during a recent visit. A server took away both mine and my friend’s full plates of food — one was the chicken milanese and the other was the seared tuna — after we had only had a few bites. We were full from the appetizer, and had asked to have rest for take away. When we inquired about our entrées after receiving the check, the server claimed he had asked if we wanted the food taken away — but again, the plates were still full. The bill came out to nearly $200 (with gratuity already included), and not only was there no apology or offer to remedy the situation, but the waste of food was frustrating and unnecessary. For a restaurant of this caliber, I expected much better service. This experience really soured the evening, and I hope management addresses this so it doesn’t happen to others.

L

echoing an earlier comment - waited for an hour for the appetizer to arrive and the waiter disappeared after taking our order. Was the “thirstiest” hour of my life. Mediocre food but view was good.

Please if you love your animals, DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT!!! I came all the way from Florida to revisit this restaurant that had such a great atmosphere and food!! I have been there with my dogs before, we sat outside on the beach area and it was great!! It has changed ownership, they wouldn't allow me with my little 5lb dog who by the way was in a little dog carriage!!! It was a Sunday before they were open, not a car in the lot no people at all!!! Wouldn't let us step into place!!!!! We told them we came all the way from Florida, COULDNT CARE LESS!!! I WAS IN TEARS!!! WHAT KIND OF PLACE DOES THIS????

What has happened in the restaurant industry?? Nice view but that’s it! $55for a steak that had to be sent back cause over done. Came back with another 20 minutes after rest of us finished meal and was tasteless. Salmon and tuna dishes also had no taste. Ordered dirty martini and they forgot to put olive juice so instead of making another one waiter brought a shot glass of olive juice. Not classy. Was celebrating 59 year wedding anniversary for parents and wow… maybe send a drink over? No congratulations or anything. To top it off because we were party of 6 20% gratuity was added!! That’s why waiter didn’t care cause he was getting his tip anyway. Just very bad experience

We were here on June 1st for the first time, there was no seat so we waited about 15 minutes to get a seat outside which is okay. After a while, the waiter finally come to take an order from us .. THEN WE WAITED 20 minutes JUST for the drinks to come, and 1.5 hour JUST for the one salad and one dish!!!!!The waiter apologizes to us because there was a wedding event but as a host or waiter should’ve informed to the customers so we have an options to stay or leave. although we enjoyed the views and the weather but over 1.5 hour wait it’s insane, the food was not that great, should’ve give some discount or communicate with the customer. Seems like they’re not first time made ppls wait for so long, never go back
