Good food, good service - will definitely go back.

Great atmosphere and AMAZING FOOD! We enjoyed our afternoon lunch date. Bartender on hand went above and beyond to make sure our drinks were what we were looking for. *** background as to why this is so important to me personally; I've been looking for someone who could make me a lavender lemon drop Martini...and until now none has even attempted to try.... Until we visited the Mellow Mushroom... Let me just tell you the bartenders version of what I wanted was one of the best drinks I've had in a long time. Made for a treat to have our day end with good food and specialty made drinks, 🍻!

When i tell you we had such an amazing time, it is an understatement. you can tell that they went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience. 10/10 recommend.

Portobello Mushroom was pretty darn good. Had to wait on pizzas but Aron the manager was very nice and took care of my family.

Tonight we had my son’s birthday dinner at Mellow Mushroom. They did a fantastic job and I cannot speak highly enough of our waitress, Sammi. She did such a good job getting everything out to us in a timely manner and was very interactive with the teenagers. And the pizza was great as always.

This place was sooo good! We moved back here after being away for probably more than 10 years, about 3/4 years ago and saw the Mellow Mushroom often but never thought to look it up or anything since we don’t like mushrooms and just assumed everything was mushroom themed 😂 I was looking at the bad reviews and they were so funny to me. 1) pizza is gonna get greasy (maybe soggy, soggy pizza has never bothered me) if you don’t want that, limit your toppings. 2) service was great and very quick. Christy was great! We did come about 2:30/3:00 ish. I had a lot of toppings on my pizza (green peppers, red peppers, garlic, Parmesan, mozzarella, pepperoni, bacon, and hot honey) and it wasn’t soggy at all. Really held its shape. The hot honey is so good, not hot at all!! Atmosphere is very psychedelic 90s kinda theme I would say (shrooms) wasn’t expecting that but I loved it. Basically those negative reviews are BS yall.

My first time at Mellow Mushroom and I loved it. Hated the wait time for the food but they were pretty busy when we got there. Our waitress was nice and the perfect amount of being attentive. The atmosphere was different but I enjoyed it. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. After eating here, you'll never eat another pizza from Pizza Hut or Domino's again 😂 We can't wait to go back!

Great to have a place that stays open late which serves great food. We had the mushroom soup and Pacific Rim Pizza, both excellent. Our waitress Zoe was outstanding.

Delta was our server, he did a wonderful job. We were pleased and delighted with everything he brought us from the spinach dip and pizza bites to the great white pizza it was all delicious my salad was superb. Love this place. Such a cool atmosphere and good food. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The gluten free crust is good, although I wish it wasn't a $3 up-charge. But I'm glad to have the option because otherwise I'd be missing out due to gluten intolerance. They really load the cheese up on their pizzas, too... YUM! I got the Da Vinci, which had Meatballs on top. It was slightly awkward to eat, but still tasty. My 2.5yo requested a kids pizza with chicken and totally went to town on it. My bonus mom got a salad and loved it. We will be back again and again!

Excellent pizza. Service was great, our needs were met. Our waitress checked on us several times and offered to get to-go cups for our drinks even. Atmosphere was awesome, even bathrooms were clean and fun decor. Lots to look at in restaurant, very cool decor.

Funky little pizza place. Great pizza. Cold draft beer. Outstanding service.

G was our server and he was authentic and awesome. Outside seating was nice on a cool night thanks to the overhead heat lamps. Food was served hot and fresh. G helped with selection and was super knowledgeable about the menu. It was a fun atmosphere. I would revisit this location as well as other franchises and would highly recommend. Parking was nice and the inside part of the restaurant was well managed, clean and well lit.

I walked into Mellow Mushroom thinking, “It’s just pizza.” I walked out questioning everything I thought I knew about food. This isn’t pizza—it’s art. It’s a spiritual experience wrapped in dough and sprinkled with magic. Every bite feels like the universe personally apologized for every bland slice I’ve ever eaten. The vibe? Pure hipster heaven. Funky art, psychedelic colors, and that laid-back energy that makes you want to quit your job and start a jam band. It’s the kind of place where you order a pie and suddenly feel cooler just for being there. And listen—before you even step inside, take a picture with the art structure guy outside. It’s not optional. That dude is basically the guardian of flavor, and if you don’t snap a pic, did you even go? The pizza? Mind-blowing. The crust is like a warm hug from someone who actually cares about you. The toppings taste like they were handpicked by angels who moonlight as farmers. I didn’t know pizza could do this to a person. I’m changed. Would I go back? Absolutely. I might move in. Someone tell them I’ll pay rent in garlic butter.

All of the pizzas are so unique it was hard to pick one to try but the pacific rim was awesome. Jackson made us feel very welcome. The pretzel bites are great too. The place is decorated really cute.

Definitely don’t believe them to be $70 / 2 pizzas and a cheese bread worth. Way more crust than there really should be. In the few bites of pizza you do get, flavor is decent, just don’t think it’s worth the $$$. Cheese bread was decent, just standard cheese and bread, nothing special really. Dipping sauce was good though!

This Mellow Mushroom is Elvis / Las Vegas themed. We went on a weekend afternoon and the place was virtually empty and despite being empty the service was slower. Their menu has a lot of different pizza options to choose from. They have a decent beer selection too.

20AUG25: Greet and seat immediately. Irisa was my affable, accomplished server and expert menu guide. Selected Greek salad (li’l) and the newish/specialty pizza, Super Pepp. salad is complex and complete. two types of peppers, greens galore, kalamata olives, more and more additions then topped an abundant sprinkle of Feta cheese, a drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette was a good complement. Salad is well made which was a rich, savory delight. SuperPepp pizza (10in) was a surprising taste challenge. on a crispy crust was rich red sauce, mozzarella, smokey pepperoni, tangy-tingly pepper bits, several little mounds of seasoned, creamy ricotta cheese with a generous swirl of hot honey. Man, this is some special, monumental output of a crazy mad scientist’s flavor experiment. As the cliche states, ‘a delight in every bite.’ Great meal, great service, 5 stars =Peace= =============================== Service (Melissa) was spot on. Knowledgeable and helpful. Greek Salad was mammoth, beyond my ability to consume. Italian hoagie was similarly ample in over all size, being rather over-stuffed. The sandwich bread was toasted and arrived warm from the oven. We ordered dessert first. The presentation of the dessert was beautiful. Brownie with ice cream on top. It was good. The food was good. My steak and cheese calzone (the meat inside) was bland. I'm not saying that to complain. It was still good. The bread had the flavor in it. My husband's burger was good. He ordered the Ritz burger. (I did not take a picture of his burger) The soup was really good. The lady who served us was really nice. We probably won't be back. Not because of anything they did wrong.

Great lunch And great atmosphere. We got there early so it wasn’t very busy at all. There is lots of parking with easy access. I highly recommend the Greek salad it was very fresh and delicious. As you can see in the photos one was a large and one was a small and both the pizzas are small pan But there was nothing small about it , very thick crust very well cooked and everything was delicious.

Great early dinner experience. Place is cool theme with lots of trendy murals, very busy but we get seated under 15 minutes. We love the veggie calzone and the 9 clouds wings. Not raving about the pizza so much, is good though with build your own pizza. Our waiter is fast and very courteous.

The place was clean, and had a cool overall theme. Fifties pictures and murals covered the wall, and artistically aesthetic furniture and sculptures adorned the lobby and entrance. Creative playing card pictures indicated the men's and women's restrooms. An outdoor patio had lots of seating room, and boasted two gigantic ceiling fans for summer, and overhead heaters for winter. Entree and ingredient selections were broader than the typical "bare bones" pizza place (including garlic peppadew and Poblano peppers, and spinach) which impressed me. I didn't think highly of the "Holy Shiitake" offering listed on their menu, however, as I would not want to explain that to my granddaughter. My veggie pizza was tasty and did not take too very long to arrive. I have not eaten in a place this cold and unfriendly, though, since my childhood days, where I grew up five minutes away from a village where the Ku Klux Klan often marched through. I passed by two female employees standing in front of the kitchen, and smiled as I greeted them. Both looked at me and immediately snatched away their eye contact in the same direction, ignoring my greeting. My waitress, Gwen, though soft-spoken, and friendly-sounding, was stand-offish, her smile quickly and consistently melting away the second she turned to walk away from me. Though she brought my drink and plate right away, she only disappeared and returned when she saw me scanning the room to see where she was. Matt Bloodsworth, the man who likes to be called "Captian," was the only one who extended the courtesy that a customer should experience. His friendly conversation with everyone (including me) showed me that he, unlike the others, regarded everyone's presence as important as their money. After posting this review, I drive back just to find him, and give HIM a tip. When Gwen returned to ask if I was thinking of any dessert, I looked her I the eye and told her that I had changed my mind. Not only was I saying I no longer wanted dessert; I was also saying I had changed my mind about the amount I was about to tip her, about ever eating at this place again, and about ever recommending this place to anyone who wants to be treated with respect.

First time eating here I love the atmosphere. They have a bar with a god selection of draft beer, and they have Happy Hour as well. I ordered a pizza with mushrooms. Pizza tasted really good, but the dough was so oily, all over, it made it hard to eat it, as I don’t like my pizza soaked in oil. I have never seen this before. I lived in Tuscany Italy and I have never experienced the pizza being soaked in oil.

This place is great for the family. I enjoyed the 80’s music that was playing. A nice establishment. The slices are huge. Lots of cheese. The toppings are sloppy, not integrated into the cheese. FILTHY restaurant. Seated at the velvet booth that looked like they just got it from a children’s play area. Crumbs and straw sleeves all over the booth, chairs, floors, tables and every crevice in that restaurant along with dirty menus. Cups were dirty, forks had food still on it. Asked to move from the booth to a table and felt like I had sand on the back of my legs… that’s how dirty it was. Got the meatball trio as the appetizer and received it cold. By the time our food came we were over it and overall disgusted with the place. Saw the “manager” hanging out at the bar, walking back and forth looking at the empty restaurant as if it’s packed and busy. Sir, if you have time to lean, you have time to CLEAN! One of the most disgusting pizzas I’ve ever had. Ordered pepperoni pizza that had so much grease on top it was inedible. They were kind about it and offered to remake and refund. Can’t recommended based off of how long it took to come out and how greasy it was

I genuinely don’t understand how this place is still in business. We stood waiting for about 10 minutes before the hostess finally acknowledged us—despite multiple staff members making eye contact as they passed by. After being seated, we waited another 15 minutes for drinks, which arrived one at a time and were placed on the very edge of the table, requiring us to stand up and retrieve them ourselves. It took roughly 30 minutes just to place our food order, and when we did, the server was unable to answer basic menu questions. Nearly two hours later, the food finally arrived—without a single drink refill the entire time. To make matters worse, the restaurant advertised a BOGO 50% pizza deal on Mondays, which they then refused to honor. Advertising promotions and declining to honor them is unacceptable. At this point, I’ll be consulting my attorney to understand next steps. The service was not just slow, but impressively unorganized. An absolute joke of an establishment.

Me and my husband used to LOVE mellow mushroom, but we’ve tried about four times now, and it has gone so far down the drain. It’s hit or miss whether you’re going to get good service or not, and when it’s bad, it’s really bad. The pizza is still okay, but nothing like it used to be. It’s also inconsistent. Bucksteins is where it’s at now when it comes to homemade pizza in Beaumont. The atmosphere just feels dusty and dirty now. It’s not nearly as clean as it used to be. It’s such a shame, we really miss us some good mellow mushroom. I hope eventually they will improve.

Was very unimpressed. Our waitress was un attentive, never came by to do refills on our drinks, never came by to ask anything it was literally food was brought and waitress disappeared till the bill came and even then we had to ask another waitress for our bill till ours finally showed up. Restaurant looked nice but the customer service was definitely a zero.

We really enjoy eating at Mellow Mushroom, except for this one. This one needs a quality check. The food was cooked for too long. Then, the food was not piping hot when it came out. The service was horrible! It took us 40 mins to even get our drinks. They were not even busy! Corporate needs to come do a quality check!

i’ve had the worst experience at this restaurant. our server delta was less than pleasant, cut us off while trying to order, brought me and my boyfriends food at wildly different time, and was overall un attentive and seemingly wasn’t even listening when we would tell him what we did or didn’t need. he placed our pizza directly onto the table instead of the rack and gave us no indication as to weather or not it was hot which burned the roof of my boyfriends mouth to the point of it peeling. we were also not asked if we would need any sauces or other items. overall very unprofessional and i would not be very confident in recommending this restaurant to any friends or family.

NOT GOOD!!! I ordered a supreme pizza to go while I had a beer. I asked for extra sauce and for the toppings to be spread to the edge evenly. The waitress was very nice and mentioned my request to the kitchen. I made this request because my last pizza had most toppings in the middle. This pizza had most of the toppings on 1/3 of the pizza. One side of the pizza had crust 4 inches wide with no topping. There was no extra sauce but I did get a full slice off the head of a bell pepper on one slice. All the black olives are in one area and no extra sauce. Very little cheese.The crust was VERY chewy. I spent $30.80 for this CRAPPY SLOP pizza and a beer not including tip. The cooks did not even try to make a nice pizza. It was very slow with few people eating and now I know why! EXPENSIVE SLOPPY CRAP!!!
