Came back, after a long time of not having food from this place (usually went for the salad only to be disappointed with wilted lettuce) and ordered a pillow fit bowl. I might start coming more often. Chicken was good (nicely marinated and not burnt) and the greens were fresh and GREEN. 😋

A few days ago I came to this Pollo loco. I placed my order through the drive through and when I got home I realized they gave me the wrong items. I called the location and spoke to the manager Laura. She was very pleasant and said no problem to go in any time to get my order corrected for free. I just came in and a different manager was on duty, Maribel. She knew right away who I was and didn't hesitate twice to get my order. She said Laura had notified all managers to keep an eye out for me. On top of that I decided to sit in and eat at the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay there. I can honestly say they have provided me with exceptional service. Thank you all Pollo loco staff for making it a great experience to get my order corrected.

Every time I come I have a great experience! Whether its order online for pick up or drive thru. The drive thru line is quite busy but it has a good flow. There was a person outside getting the orders to speed up the process. The food is always made right. Online ordering is easy. It does get busy inside too but staff will let you know kindly to step outside if they are at capacity.

Food was great. Did not have to wait to long. Great costumer service will be going again. Skinny lady with glasses was sweet and helped me order my food and picked out what I wanted most staff were nice and really enjoyed the service… thanks will be coming again.

The service was fast and even though they had a full drive thru and a full inner dining area full they still attended me and served me within 10mins if that. Amazing workers and great customer service and even though they were out numbered by customers they attended everyone with a smile and courtesy. I loved everything about this place hands down these workers deserve a raise for their effectiveness, customer service and proficiency. The sever had an issue with the person in front of me. She didn't seem to know how to resolve it.. They only didn't want the drink with their combo. But manager and another server helped. Just took awhile..

Their food at this location is better than most other locations for some reason. Also the employees here are always friendly and efficient. They never messed up my order and just wished they had a drive through. Also their rewards program is great and simple. You don't get annoying alerts and emails.

El Pollo Loco in Bell Gardens was calm and peaceful this evening. The restaurant was clean and the employee behind the counter was polite and professional. I had the double chicken salad. I'm happy that there's a good selection of salads. Healthy eating is the best and tasty in El Pollo Loco. Unfortunately they only have two type of dressing, ranch or cilantro dressing which is just ranch with cilantro. An olive oil dressing or Italian would have been good.

can your employees actually read the orders for once. i order a bowl, they half ass the bowl, i ask for extra cilantro, extra pico and extra chicken. they didn’t give me the extra cilantro and they didn’t give me any guac that comes with the bowl, let alone , the dude wants to hand me my bowl just like that. when i ordered a combo drink and tortillas. stop half assing the food respectfully. it’s it’s a language thing, translate the orders to Spanish.

A rated restaurant. One of the busiest one. Chicken tostada salad is my favorite to order from them. You need to ask for ranch dressing or they won't give it to you. and always check your order before leaving.

I really enjoy el pollo loco foods and while no one can beat the location on cesar chavez in los angeles(attentive, details on service and food are on point), the food was still good but they dont put much emphasis on customer attention or the condiments requested, i would still reccomend this restaurant for the food.

Meh they need to learn how to properly heat up a tortilla and THAT is not a new problem, haven't been to a Pollo Loco in at least 3 years and it'll probably be AT LEAST that long before I go back👎😖👎

Went through drive through and ordered the family pack. Which was really good. I would not recommend the crunchy tacos. The oil was old and the tacos taste terrible.

This location has its ups and downs. I got the $6 quesadilla dos locos chicken salad and I was baffled with what they gave me. The chicken was fairly made the salad was fresh but the quesadilla 😂 was a huge tortilla with cheese on ONE SIDE. Honestly it was hilarious when I saw it because I mean it’s Bell Gardens so not surprising. However, you can tell this was cheaply made. Definitely a necessity for this location to make better quality food.

After 10 hours of work I go and there's a big line of cars on drive thru ingo inside better to get pollo Loco there was only one cashier with a woman that it took around 10 mins to order not sure if it was the manager her badge said Marina she was just talking to the cooks she saw me standing there she couded help me but she kept talking to the cooks better I don't think I'm going for a while at leadt not at that time

The place was clean and not crowded. The staff seems overwhelmed and overworked. The staff is very slow at taking orders and getting them prepared. They also forget to put some items in your bag. There is no horchata. There is no salsa bar. You have to ask for the salsas and they forget to give them to you anyway. The line inside takes long and so does the drive thru. The burritos need more inside it seems like you're eating a tortilla by itself or a taco instead of a burrito.

The curbside is HORRIBLE!!! We had to get down and pick it up because no one was coming out to deliver the food. Even then they didn't have the order ready yet. We asked for pico de gallo and they didn't have any and we asked for extra creamy cilantro and she snapped at us saying she already put some in there. Why do you even have a curbside in the first place!!!!!

Food was great but the soda machine up front is not working all the sodas are flat and the ice machine is broken. Then when. You atry to ask a person who works there for soda your bothering them because they are trying to get the drive thru orders done .

They're so stingy stingy stingy! They didn't give us a receipt on purpose, (without it we can't get points for the rewards system,) their managers have always been rude and trashy because of extreme lack of manners, the avocado and salsa cups are filled halfway. Bad lid on dipping sauce, it opened and half of it spilled all over the other food inside of the bag.

I have a bad experience today I ordered 12 pieces and when I got home was only 10 pieces and the mashed potato was about 1/2 emptied I call the store and they offer me 4 pieces but they didn't give me more mashed potato because I didn't told them over the phone... bad costumer service

I walked in, waiting for the counter person to say next as usual. Instead, she only stared rather than do anything, I had to say something. Had an attitude, so I walked out. That was an unprofessional service I got.

Very disappointed with this location. I was given cole slaw that was rancid. I called to complain & was told to go the next day & I would be compensated with an item of my choice. When I returned I was humiliated and made to feel like I was begging. I had to repeat the incident to 4 people! The item I was compensated looked less than desirable😩

They have 1 cashier inside and the cashier also has to cover online orders, stood in line for 15 minutes before being helped noone in front of me, manager looks lost. They need to have 1 or 2 more people for cashier and curbside pickup

Food is good . Service is good but there is always people asking for food or money in there or right outside the door. This last time I went there was a lady sitting literally right next to me and my family and she kept staring at me while I ate saying " mmmm that looks good !" I tried to be nice BUT it was super uncomfortable even for my son . She never left

I never have a problem getting salsa or “dressing” but this lady made it so difficult to give us creamy cilantro sauce. Like I get it lady I don’t care if it’s specifically for salad I will pay for it if I have to ,she really did not want to give it to us ,but you don’t have to make it so difficult your pollo loco is the ONLY one I’ve been to that has made a big deal on the salsa or “dressing” she didn’t have to be repetitive and rude about getting dressing or whatever.

One of the worst experiences at pollo loco or any other fast food restaurant!! To begin with it was too noisy the music very loud 2nd and the most disappointing waited n waited for my order very long n when I went to ask for it they said ooh someone took n eating it ( the manager did not offer apology or even refund to make it up) 3rd they gave me my order which was missing items in it where I had to again n ask for it!! El pollo loco has been declining in quality for some time now. I have even reached out to the district supervisor but she didn't care herself and had a horrible attitude. This is why good places go out of business bad management.

I ordered a 3 piece combo and they didn't give me one of the chicken breast. I ordered it with a mango ice tea and it tasted like sewer water. The mashed potatoes were beyond hot and the tortillas were as hard as tostadas. Worst pollo loco I've ever been too...

The lady called us theifs because she couldn't admit her impotence to do her job and bag food in the correct bags. Proceeded to tell everyone working that we wanted free food, trying to embarrass us even after we showed the recipt. Maybe if everyone wasn't huddled up talking gossip they would notice where they put the food🤷‍♀️

I have been coming here for a very long time and the food quality has gone down so bad. They put no type of chicken in your bowl just burnt pieces and small strips .

Placed & paid online. It was supposed to be an 18-minute wait to get my food. It turned out a 45-minute wait. They could find my order, and both the cashier and the lady putting the orders bother checking for my order. It turns out she had the chicken in front of her. Bad horrible services!

The staff was extremely rude. I was missing food that I payed for so I pointed it out to the staff and multiple times they kept messing up I did not have my full order and the staff wanted me to leave like that without the food I payed for I was not mad until the staff decided it was a good idea to start throwing my food inside the bags and telling me to leave when I still did not have my full correct order it took two hours for me to finally get my food that I payed for. The skinny lady with glasses and brown hair has a serious attitude that needs an adjustment. If you see anyone that matches the description ask for another staff member to help you! I wouldn’t bother with her because her attitude did not change or lighten up it got worse I’m glad I left when I did because she was giving every customer she attended a nasty attitude.

I didn't like the service. the attendants are not very attentive even though there are not many people to be served. I bought a double chicken fajitas and it came without fajitas. the attendant did not have the decency to report that he was at fault. unfortunately I only saw it at home. It is absurd to miss the dish that is the name of the dish. I hope they get better.

I went to this place today and at first it seemed good like any other of these food chain restaurants we have been to these restaurants before So I thought it was gonna be good. I ordered churros and chips with guacamole, I tried the churros and they tasted like they were made yesterday. Then I confronted the worker as she assured me that they were made today but they were hard. Then I tried the chips they were sour and just seemed weird I do not recommend this place you can go to any other pollo loco.

Why do y’all close the drive thrus before closing times. I drove to THREE different El Pollo Locos that all closed at 11:00PM and ALL of them were already closed, one was closed at 10:20 one at 10:32 and this one is closed at 10:41PM. Reason for 1 star is not because of the food. It's Pollo loco the food is good. The reason for the low rating is because of customer service. It has happened multiple times that we go and use the app and they do not want to validate our online coupons or there app deals. 1st time they told us download the app and get a free bowl so we download it and they say oh no you can't get the bowl today. So we go back 2 weeks later, and they say oh you don't get the bowl for free you have too pay. 2nd time we try using another deal on the website and they say they can't validate it for whatever reason. Both times they don't try to help us with the app they get mad at us and say hurry up because there is a line. They dont try to comp or to give us something rather they kick us out. Worst service on the planet!

Friday May 5th, ordered drive thru a Dbl Chk Tostada, inside was a sharp chicken bone that cut my mouth and if I would have swallowed they would have had major law suit, I left my info and showed pics to GM Fernanda she never apologized or even said sorry. Or even called back all she said the office will call you they never did. Unprofessional

Went there to get the new poblano quesadilla and i will never go there again. The quesadilla was super soggy, it literally fell apart when i picked it up. There was hardly anything in it. I was just disappointed. I spent 30 dollars there and.the food quality was horrible. Save your money. Go elsewhere.

Someone name Daniel R took my order and got my order wrong . I went back to drive through and I told him he charged me 2 chips and salsa instead of Mac and cheese he said I gave you the Mac and cheese . Which he didn’t . So I tried giving him the back and said you can check . And he gets the Mac and cheese so quick and hands it over so rude and gave me attitude. I won’t forget those eyes he gave me . He didn’t say nothing at all ..Literally rude !

so I came here through drive thru and asked the cashier for two $5 combos of the pollo bowl I asked for one plain and one with everything and even repeated the order....I come home and they make both plain v.v to top it off I called multiple times and no answer and then idk what order number I was because cashier did not hand over a receipt!
