We came here for lunch on a Friday. It's conveniently located for us and very reasonably priced for the neighborhood. The host gave us excellent friendly service. We got a club sandwich and the giant plate sized pretzel. I've had similar pretzels in Bavaria (Germany) and this one was very good, soft and chewy with a delicious dip. The sandwich was fine too. I would come again to try their other interesting offerings. Note they have happy hours when you get a big discount! It wasn't too crowded when we went but I can imagine it can be during busy times due to the intimate size.
One of the best martinis I've had! The steak frites were also delicious and the service was outstanding! Glad I found this gem, will definitely be back
Great place for a casual lunch/dinner with family or friends. Super nice staff and a pretty decent happy hour, I got a Chardonnay for $8 (which is the price of one bottle of anyways but still pretty cheap) and it tasted not great but it was affordable which I love. Nice fries, very chunky and big and SUPER quick service!!! 5 stars for the overall price and friendliness, it did occasionally smell really bad outside I think there was a sewer nearby or something but definitely not their fault
Super cute spot, loved the outdoor garden section, the spinach dip appetizer was so delicious, the Cajun chicken sandwich was huge and also full of flavor! Staff was very friendly and accommodating for our large party
We first visited for breakfast. Ordered the eggs with the french toast and it was simple, big portions and most importantly delicious. The second time we though of going for brunch, try something different. So we had the Spanish wrap and burger. Again, very delicious! Since then we had came back consistently and it's our go to brunch place in Bellevue. The terrace is big and it can host big groups, plus you get to enjoy the sunny days with a breeze.
Stopped by for late dinner with some friends on a Saturday night, restaurant was busy but we were seated right away. Our waitress was fast and professional. I ordered the 520 burger and some fries, the burger was cooked to my liking, the fries are different then other restaurants and are delicious! They make really good drinks here. Overall a great place to go with delicious food. We sat outside in a covered area which was heated and had a cozy feel to it. Would definitely recommend this place!
I just have to say that this place is the best! We went here for a 6 year olds, small birthday dinner and everybody was just so nice! Just a great group of people and the food and drinks are amazing! Get those chicken wings! My French dip was great as well.
Great place. Beautiful outdoor atmosphere. Steak was really good but the best are the fries with fun shape and delicious flavor. Also tried the bread pudding for dessert, for this I was hopping it to be more flavorful.
I ordered the salmon sandwich and it was pretty good!
This is a small restaurant with a pub like atmosphere located in old town Bellevue on Main Street. The customer service was great and the cocktail I had was amazing! It’s called the Main Street Old Fashioned, it has a rich Flavour and one drink will have you very tipsied lol! I ordered the crab cakes and coconut prawns both were delicious! 520 is nice chill back place with a lot of menu options, I will definitely be coming back.
Came in here for a quick bite before my hair appointment. Bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. The salmon sandwich was good and fries nice and hot! Would Def recommend if you're walking around in the area. Outside seating also available.
Lovely place! Great service, great ambience, great outdoor patio and decent selection of tap beers! Loved the fact the mat they had Trumer on tap! As far as food goes, I only had buffalo wings and unlike traditional buffalo wings, they weren’t overly sour. Perfect slur and. Ice slice! I loved it. Will definitely go here again!
Our food and service were both great. Had the fish and chips and the fish was very good. Nice outdoor seating which is much cooler than inside when it’s super crowded.
520 Bar & Grill is in the Old Bellevue area. It's gotta lot of character, they're usually always busy, and the staff is funny and friendly. Their menu is your typical bar & grill type foods but they do them well. Prices aren't bad at all, and the food comes out quick and fresh everytime. They have rotating drink menus as well, and tons of outdoor seating. Portion sizes are good good, so you get what you pay for.
Undoubtedly the best bar in the Bellevue Downtown area. It has got regular indoor seating and a covered outdoor seating. Staffs were very friendly. Plenty of options in food and drinks menu, with some decent amount of vegetarian options. Highly recommend the chicken wings here; it was arguably one of the best wings I have ever had.
Great cocktails (cucumber cooler & watermelon mint were refreshing for a warm day) … the Huckelberry cocktail 🍸 was phenomenal Service was spot on our kids Sautéed Garlic prawns 🍤 recommend tooo
Sometimes a restaurant just “hits right”. That was the case with 520 Bar & Grill last Friday night. Their food is good and very reasonable especially for Bellevue old town. We had impeccable service. It helped that the weather was perfect - but then so is the new patio (I haven’t been there since pre Covid) The music was also the perfect vibe and volume. We were thrilled.
Enjoyed dinner at 520 with a party of 8. Outside seating is great and service is friendly and prompt. Everyone like the food they ordered. Overall a great experience ⭐️
A great experience and an amazing place to hang out with friends or colleagues. Good service and food. Well mannered and dressed hosts, follow the guidelines for social distancing. Overall a positive and pleasant experience. Kudos to the team!!!
Wow. Last night we got $10 happy hour chicken wings. There were only four but I don’t even care I would buy 10 more orders. Hands down the best chicken wings I’ve ever had. They were so perfectly crispy and the buffalo sauce was delicious and the wing itself was so juicy it basically bursted when I took a bite. Visiting from Indianapolis and I’m sad I can’t pack up this restaurant and take it with me. My Brazilian Lemonade mocktail was delightful too. KUDOS🤌 Great service, very attentive staff. As a server myself, I’m so so impressed. Will be back next time I’m in town☝️
They have a really nice covered outdoor patio, perfect for the summer. Food is good, prices reasonable, staff is friendly, even for our large party. The steak salad is a surprisingly large portion
This place is great! My wife uses a power wheelchair and Isabelle got us right in to a table, along with our little dog Chloe. Our waitress Bre was FANTASTIC, and even got Chloe a fresh bowl of water!! We will definitely see you all again and thank you!!
My wife likes the Blackened Salmon Sandwich and I like the Cajun Chicken Sandwich. Both are very tasty and come with fries or salad. The cocktails, old fashioned and martini are always well made. Repeat customers!
Thought pumpkin was past it's prime but oh boy what a fantastic pumpkin ale. Notes of cinnamon and nutmeg smell and taste. Wow!
Highly recommended! Great terrace with a cozy atmosphere for sitting outside. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The happy hour menu in the afternoon is great and offers very tasty snacks and drinks."
The place was nice, especially on a sunny beautiful day in Bellevue area and you can sit outside. I'm guessing they might have live performances once in a while based on the stage look-a-like. But to me, the food was mediocre. Burger was not seasoned enough, bland. I did like the shrimp, but now that I think of the menu it's weird how there's rice and toasts in the plate it's as if the toasts are there to fill up the plate. For location to meetup, this place is great. For food, they need improvements. Service was attentive and friendly.

The staff in particular are hardworking and respectful. The food is great and they do their best to satisfy you. I totally recommend this place. I guess they close at 11pm.
To be fair we only ate appetizers, but for me I felt the food was just mediocre. We had drinks which everyone seemed to enjoy and the service was great. We had two birthday girls in our party and they were offered free desserts which I thought was perfect for the evening.
Service was great! Food was good! Cocktails were wonderful! Table lighting needs some work. Bathroom felt dirty.
Good drinks, outdoor seating on a nice day is great, but menu could use a refresh. Management contacted me twice to give it another try, so we went tonight. Sorry, I wish I could say something changed my opinion, but the menu still needs a refresh. FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world 🌎
Its a cool spot and the overall food and drinks were good. Food was not exceptional but certainly adequate.
My friend and I came to 520 Bar & Gril 4:30pm. Still Happy Hour time and took seat outside. Tables and chairs surrounded by vinyl are set outside. Service guy was a nice smiling and kindly. Happy hour 2pm-5pm/ 8pm-close Sun-Thur 2pm-5pm/10pm- close Fri & Sat Available indoor and outdoor *but not available for take out. We ordered Hot wings, Cheese curds and 520 Spinach salad. We don't drink alcohol but no problem for HH here. I liked 520 spinach salad, fresh and combination w spinach and sliced strawberries are delicious. Hot wings are little spicy for my friend but not for me. Cheese curds is easy finger food. I would like to try another HH menu next time.
I really like this place for brunch. It has good vibe, food is excellent and service is with a smile. I got a 520 burrito which comes with a side of house potatoes. Loved it. Went there for the second time, got a breakfast in bread which I would call another win. The food here is delicious. Never disappoints.
Been here for my 21st and so many times after that and always enjoyed it! They have dining in and an area outside with umbrellas you can sit at as well whenever it’s hot or rainy. The servers are a hit or miss here, but try their best lol. Prices are your typical bellevue restaurant prices, considering it’s in main bellevue. Would def be back! :)
The food was good and the service was excellent! The spinach artichoke dip was our favorite dish. We also tried the fish and chips and the beyond patty melt, both were good!
A gem in Bellevue. Fish and chips were great, the sandwiches were amazing, and the atmosphere was really nice. I’d recommend for a family lunch or even a date.

Once again, I am preparing for another surgery. This one is 13 months and 1 day after my rotator cuff surgery in December 2024. Lucky me. The procedure will be in Bellevue, rather than Tacoma, so I was up there for my labwork and pre-op appointments. Once finished Ray and I decided to eat before heading home. Not being familiar with the area, I did a search for restaurants. This place was close so we headed that way. There is street parking only and we were lucky to find an open spot which we took. The directions were confusing and pictures were unavailable so we began walking up the street, thinking we were heading in the correct direction. We were almost 2 blocks away when I asked for assistance and was told we were walking in the wrong direction. When we got back and were nearly to our car, I saw their name on an awning and realized we had parked almost in front of the entrance, which is not marked in front. We went inside and waited to be seated. We had arrived at approximately 3:15. We were asked if we had reservations and said no. We were informed we could be seated but there were reservations for 5:15 and we would need to be gone by then. Not knowing if service was slow, we almost left, but decided to stay. We were barely seated when our server arrived to take our order. We had not even had an opportunity to look at the menu. While not rude, she did act exasperated, and walked off before we could even order something to drink. In her defense she gave the same level of service to a regular who was seated at the next table and knew her by name. He was also informed he would need to be gone by 5:15. When our server came back, we placed our order. My husband ordered a cup of black coffee. I ordered a coffee nudge from the bar. Both were delivered and were cold. She never came back until our meals were served. She never offered more coffee. We each ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich and fries. Our meals arrived hot, unlike the coffee. They were good, but for the price, they were not outstanding. We were seated next to the hosting station. We had to ask the hostess, who had just arrived to work, for more coffee, and to go boxes. Only then did our server appear, after the hostess brought ONE box and coffee. This time the coffee was lukewarm. I asked to have some coffee added to my drink hoping to get it warmed. Our server told me, when she brought the bill, she did not charge me for asking for coffee in my drink. I came closer to making a snide remark, especially after telling her the coffee was cold, and getting no response. I have worked in restaurants and bars. I own a customer service business, so I am probably more critical than most. I am also very understanding when an establishment is busy, and the staff is running their tails off taking care of customers. This place was far from busy. She did not need to hover, but she certainly could have availed herself a bit more. She acted as though checking on us, and the table next to us, was an inconvenience to her. There has been a lot of discussion and controversy, on social media lately, regarding tipping. I have no problem leaving a good tip for good service. Conversely, I have a real problem leaving a tip when the service leaves a lot to be desired. It has nothing to do with affordability, and everything to do with rewarding for bad behavior. I left a larger tip than I felt she deserved, but it was still less than the recommended tip when it was time to pay. We paid, collected our receipt, and left. I doubt we will return. I hope other people have better experiences.
Nice place with a pleasant atmosphere, but very limited gluten-free options - no gluten-free desserts at all. I ended up just having a salad. But my husband had a burger and he liked it
First time at 520 Bar & Grill. I guess you need a reservation to sit down and the host was really snobby about it lol - all good. We asked if we could sit at the bar and if it was full service and it was, but she didn't even offer the bar seating which was empty (as a business owner I would tell my hosts the bar is open seating if you don't have a reservation.) Bartenders were busy, but attentive. The food was okay I got the fish and chips and my spouse got the lamb burger. Later my spouse had the runs from the burger but I was fine. The Bellevue lemon drop drink was delicious though. The atmosphere is okay from where we sat at the bar, but the outside seating looks nice. Might try again :)
Make sure to take a photo of your receipt because the waiting staff changed my tip amount. Luckily I did. I’m resolving it with the bank. I know that food was OK
Food tasted good, portions were well-sized. However I was displeased with one thing. We were a group of 5, but our server would place extra dishes/cutlery as if there was an extra person. I didn't question it until she came with the bill, and had automatically applied a 20% gratuity (which should only be applied for a group of 6+). I didn't point it out at the time but I feel like people should know this may happen if planning to come as a group of 5.
The food was just ok. The cocktail had only a hint of alcohol. Not worth the money. The server was not nice to us. The place was too loud barley could hear my friends talk.
This review is for the food. I think it's probably a better bar than restaurant. In short, the food is fine but it's unreasonably expensive for small portions. $16.50 before tax and tip for a small, simple salad. I would not come back for a meal, period. The rest of my party didn't really like their food: soup was salty, BLT was fine, lamb burger unremarkable. Drinks are good, and I could see myself returning for happy hour.
Honestly, I wouldn't come here again. My review is based on the 520 burger. The avocado I added cost $1.50, but it's clearly not fresh. It looked browned and sad. The meat patty was juicy and well seasoned, but there was no lubrication whatsoever on the burger. It was just... meat, cheese, and veggies. It felt very underwhelming, and honestly the burgers I make on a pan at home taste better. Very disappointing for a $18+$1.50 burger. Will say that the fries are quite good. They're lightly battered, and very thick cut. Crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside.
We went to 520 Bar & Grill for dinner and found the experience to be just okay. The service was decent, but the food felt average and didn’t quite live up to the hype. We tried their “famous” wings, the salmon with smashed potatoes, the chicken burger with waffle fries, and a kids’ cheese quesadilla. While everything was fine, nothing really stood out, especially for the price point — it felt a bit overpriced for the quality. Overall, an average dining experience.
I’ve been coming here for years, and while their happy hour has always been decent, the main restaurant food has consistently disappointed me. We recently decided to give this place a second chance, hoping things had improved, but unfortunately it still didn’t meet expectations. To make matters worse, I had reached out to management after a previous visit and was told they would get back to me — they never did. During our most recent visit, the burgers arrived cold, especially the salmon burger, which also lacked flavor. When you’re paying for full-priced entrées, this really shouldn’t happen. Overall, this experience confirmed what we’ve felt for a while: happy hour might be fine, but the regular dining experience doesn’t deliver. Disappointing, especially for a place we’ve supported for years.
They tricked us into paying extra!! My group of 5 came here hoping for some nice American food on Independence Day. They kept bringing out a 6th set of utensils and cup of water. We were confused but just didn't touch the extra stuff. It turned out that was their trick to make us pay the 20% gratuity for 6+ person groups. By the time we realized, we had already left. You can tell I'm still mad enough to write this review 5 months later. To the staff: This stingy and dishonest way of running a business managed to fool us once, but we are never coming back. Also we are Asians who rarely eat American so you have ruined our only impression of American food. You should be ashamed of how you represent your country. Especially on Independence Day! Shame on you.
I rarely write negative reviews—my profile speaks for itself—but our experience at 520 Bar & Grill was the worst customer service my husband and I have had in Bellevue. Upon arrival, I had my small Yorkie on my lap while sitting on the patio. Out of nowhere, a staff member came over yelling at me in front of the entire patio, saying it was a code violation. I was completely unaware, and while I respect the rules, there are much more professional and polite ways to deliver that kind of message. Instead, I was embarrassed in front of everyone as the patio went silent, watching the interaction. Not long after, the patio umbrella above us started collapsing. My husband and the table next to us tried to fix it for 5 minutes, but the server’s solution was to simply close the umbrella entirely—leaving us baking in the 80-degree sun with our meals and wine. When we mentioned we were hot and would finish quickly, his response was, “me too.” The food itself was just okay, but the service and overall experience were enough to ruin the visit. With so many great restaurants in Bellevue, I’d recommend spending your time (and money) elsewhere if you’re looking for a quality experience.
