Our second time here, forgot to post my review so now we're back... We really like this hidden gem. Spacious layout, clean, i like the esthetics and the ceiling sound panels do a good job keeping the echo down.... We started with cheese curds, and like last time, they were fantastic.. I tried a bit of the pork tenderloin sandwich which was delectable, and as you can see from the video I really enjoyed the fish and chips. The serving of cheese sticks was also excellent but I do have one complaint.. I get that a lot of places unfortunately are now charging for condiments, but with the cheese sticks we requested not to have the marinara in exchange for ranch, most places you can swap out condiments and not be charged for it but apparently they do not do that.. Just a small complaint, everything else was great
This was our first visit, can’t believe we’ve never tried Morans. Their gizzards are probably the best we’ve had in a long time…..so tender and great flavor. Also had the coconut chicken, strawberry salad…delicious. The best part of the whole experience were the employees. Everyone working was very good at their jobs, pleasant, friendly, smiling and actually “acted” like they enjoyed being there and waiting on us!!! Will definitely be back, so many other things to try.
We come here with a group of 10 and they are great. Last time it was Becca and she was a top notch server. The bartender made this huge mule and it was really good. The lemon pepper and Garlic Parmesan wings and Hawaiian pizza were amazing!!! We love getting all the apps. The salad bar is a hit for a couple in our party.
We went for an early dinner and sat at the bar. Justin is very friendly and knowledgeable! He made us an amazing smoked old fashioned. I had the patty melt and it was delicious! Husband had the wings and said they were flavorful and lot of meat.
Great thin crust pizza, with a good amount of cheese, pepperoni and jalapeños. Potato soup was thick and creamy with lots of veggies and potatoes. Wings were good sized and toppings were flavorful. Servers were friendly and stayed on top of our orders. Reuben could have used more sauerkraut, my personal preference.

She was warm, attentive, and made sure our group of gals was well taken care of from start to finish. We truly appreciate Moran’s Grill for accommodating us last minute after the A/C failed at our original venue just the day before—what a lifesaver! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was just right, and thanks to Tracy, everything ran smoothly. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back! 💛🍽️✨
The 4 of us came here to celebrate a raise in a job and a graduation. Amazing menu, tons of options. Very accommodating to dietary restrictions too. One of our steaks came out really over done and we called our waiter and didn't even get out of our mouths what was wrong and she saw the steak and said " Uh that's DONE..., let's get that fixed." And had the cook put on another, came out in half the time the first one took and she apologized for the kitchen. Amazing service. After that the rest of the food was great and would come back to try many different things from here. We had the lobster Gouda pasta bake, two heavenly Chicken and waffles comes with fries or salad, New York strip special with a loaded baked potato (not loaded in pictures because of dietary restrictions, but does come loaded.) also had the margarita flight(chefs choice), and the make your own boba, not a ton of options but still really tasty. Highly recommend as a place where everyone in your party has different tastes.
Amazing is the best way to describe the food and service. The flights were not the best but love having them to try a few drinks without ordering a huge drink. Will be back for sure!
Really nice wait staff. Didn't Have to wait on Friday night. Food is excellent great variety. Lots of sauce on the calzone. Ask for sour cream. Lots of sauce on the Alfredo too, which was nice because often pasta doesn't have enough. Steak cooked perfectly. We'll definitely be back.
I have been here at least a dozen times and always forget to take pictures because it’s just such a comfortable spot and their food is never disappointing. Their salmon is one of my favorites. They have great salads! The wings are so good! We have not found anything we don’t like on their menu. Their prices are really great and the portion sizes are ample. Their food has so much flavor. The staff is always smiling and inviting.
My husband and I went here for the first time on Monday and it was AMAZING!!! First of all, our waitress was the sweetest person! The waffle nachos had no business being that good but even now as a left over they are amazing. I also ordered the wings and the waitress recommended that I have them fried, tossed in sauce, grilled, and then tossed in sauce again. It's safe to say that these are my favorite wings in Omaha! They were so beautiful that our waitress said the owner took a picture of them. Thank you for such a great experience!
We love going to this place and never have had an issue, however I made reservations for 13 people for a birthday dinner at 6pm August 9th! All 13 people showed up and they did not have our reservation at all, when we asked to speak to the manager we were told Amanda would be with us asap! However Amanda did not show her face nor did she even address their mess up, we had 13 people waiting 30mins to be seated! Our waiter was amazing and the host was super apologetic however i was not pleased with Amanda's managing skills what so ever! We will continue to go as we love the food but if you make a reservation maybe call the next day to make sure the job was done!
I went recently for a fish special during lent. We started with the calamari which our waitress recommended because it was hand battered. It was surprisingly really good! It was fresh and tender. They also have a great salad bar. The fish special, walleye, was good, but it was slightly under seasoned to me. My husband ordered the NY Strip special. It was also good, but cooked unevenly. They have a fairly large menu with a variety of options. The dining area is open and clean. We had a decent meal and service was good.
We made the trek from Lincoln again and my husband asked where I wanted to eat. I remembered all the pics I had saved of the fish and chips from Moran's Grill during Lent. I was in a fried food sort of mood... We started with the Fried Pickle Spears app. I have a love/hate relationship with these in general cuz they usually get soggy so quick. These hand breaded spears totally held up! Super crunchy til the end. They have a rather extensive menu and my husband was having a hard time deciding. I would have bet he'd go for the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich but he chose the Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich instead. He said the sauce was different from what he's used to but still good. The chicken was juicy and all the toppings and bun were fresh. It disappeared pretty fast. I got the Fish I came here for. It seriously looks like fried chicken but it was definitely cod. Also hand battered it was so crispy and the tartar complemented it well. They have those fat crinkle fries which are not my thing but I wanted to try the onion rings anyways. They were also fatty but super sweet onions and seasoned well. Very yummy! I had intended on getting a Margarita Flight but learned it was Bartender's Choice and 2 of the 4 designated flavors did not appeal to me. Got a Cucumber Marg instead. Loved it! This place is huge and seems to have a popular patio. They were well staffed, our server Tracy did a great job! Also have a salad bar which I could totally get down with. I bet we'll be back for that Pork Tenderloin for him and a Margarita Flight for me!
We came near close on a Friday night, and it wasn't too busy, so we got seated right away. There are 2 front counters, which made it a tad confusing where to go, but we soon learned it was the far one. The menu has a lot of options to the point of slight overwhelm, and it combines a lot of different cuisines you don't see together every day. We ordered onions rings, which came out promptly but lacked a distinct flavor other than "fried." I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, which had sauce with the texture and flavor of straight hot sauce. The salad we ordered was loaded in cold cuts, and the Margherita pizza was sauceless unless specifically requested on the side. Servings are huge. Our server was apparently new, but very friendly and attentive, keeping our drinks full, though her hand did accidentally touch my food twice while getting and returning my cup for a refill. Come here if you're curious about the gems in your backyard.
The food was good. Brianna the server did an excellent job. Almost to many items on the menu. Even though it's called Grill they have burgers, pizza, wraps and more. They have been open since summer 22.
Stopped by thereon 12-03-25. It was around 15:25 . Only room other people in the place then my granddaughter and I. We ordered chips and queso for a appetizer. She ordered chicken strip basket with fries I ordered a 10 inch meat lovers pizza . The appetizer came out in roughly five to ten minutes. Ordered was entered into their system at 15:35 according to the receipt. We did not get the rest of our order until 16:25. Very disappointing to wait that long for two people.
I had a fish sandwich that was so-so. I also had some fried mushrooms that may have been the best I ever had. That restaurant was clean and designed so that my friends and I could carry on a conversation. Our waitress was excellent. She got our order 100% correct and was very attentive to keeping our drinks full and getting us on our way in a timely fashion. I would go back to try a different entree.
I'm always on the hunt for a good club sandwich and unfortunately this wasn't it. We decided to try here after some locals recommended it for club sandwiches. I only finished half of my sandwich and I'll be replacing the cheese and adding better mayonnaise so I don't waste the rest. The veg was fresh, which really saved it. Husband got a Moran's burger in hopes that their signature burger would be good. All cheap ingredients, and you can tell I got a raspberry margarita. Too artificial tasting and not very strong. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, but the food can use some tlc. I don't recommend anything we had
My husband and I stopped in here for breakfast on our way out of town. The mimosa flight seemed fun so I tried it but honestly they all just pretty much tasted like champagne. They needed more juice. I had the biscuits and gravy and they were without a doubt the worst I've ever had. There was so much pepper in the gravy that it was all you could taste. And the biscuits were dry and overcooked.
I wouldn't know. Took 20 minutes of sitting with 3 hungry kids before we left. Staff seemed uninterested in serving us. When they served a couple that just sat down...we had enough. Hope you get it together. We wont know because we will not be back. We live near this place but that's the worst almost dining experience we've had in 20 years. Strongly recommend waring literally anywhere else
I ordered a 16” buffalo chicken pizza. Asked when ordering to make sure the crust was done in the middle. I arrived looked at middle piece of pizza and it was still doughy (not completely done). So they had to remake it even tho I addressed this issue when I ordered pizza. Person who was helping me assured me the crust was done. I didn’t look at it. When I opened box it was the size of a 14” pizza. However, crust was done even in the middle. I called to talk to a manager. She put me on hold to talk to chef. She came back to tell me that the pizza was smaller because I wanted the crust all the way done and NOT still raw. She told me that I was just not there place to order pizza from. So she just lost a customer because I like my pizza dough to still be done and when I order a 16” pizza I expect to get that size after being cooked. Horrible customer service and she definitely see anything wrong with dough NOT fully cooked!!
Saturday night we were at Morans for a birthday party, in one of the private rooms. While waiting for our food my wife made a joke with her friends at the table about our sex life. It wasn't crude or insensitive, and she wasn't loud or obnoxious. The table behind us, also part of the party, didn't even know she had said anything. Well apparently one of the staff over heard her and complained to her manager about it, who then seperated my wife from myself as we were leaving and accosted her about the joke. She had no idea anyone overheard and wasn't meant for the staff to begin with. Well the manager forced her to apologize. I had no idea any of it even happened until she apologized and we left, I had to find out details in the parking lot. The manager was beyond rude and what was said wasn't directed toward the staff or anyone outside of the small group who heard it. Again she said nothing crude and nothing to the level of the music or TV the average teen watches. This was a spoiled brat of a server and a manager with a power kick. Why is a 16 year old serving alcohol in a bar, late at night, if she's incapable of being around adults and adult conversations? Also the burnt end nachos come with pulled pork chunks and not actual burnt ends, theres an important cost difference. Is this a mistake, bad marketing or bring cheap on ingredients while promising more?
Cannot believe the audacity and disrespect of the staff. We were seated, our waitress was in such a rush because of a larger party that she didn’t even ask me what I wanted for a drink after getting everyone else’s order. We saw her maybe 5times throughout the visit and I’m sorry but telling me I’m going to have to wait to get my drink because you are too busy to do quite literally the easiest job you could do is beyond me, it takes 2 seconds to fill a cup. The food was bland and not cooked correctly, and then when I went to pay for it all she called me out on a $5 tip but we saw her for a grand total of no more than 5-6 times and for a commutative time of 2-3mins top… why should I tip more? And to try an ask me for more when you did just “your job” and nothing else is ludicrous. We will not be back
