Really happy to see indian food in Morgan hill. I have a go to place back home and was excited to find this place. I ordered the chicken tikka masala bento box. The chicken tikka masala was a bit sweet which was unusual for me but had good manageable spice and lovely flavor. I will be back!
Great food. Great service. The server was so kind to help me decide what to order since I'd not had a lot of Indian food!
Amazing welcoming service. You get greeted as soon as you walk in. They check on you to see if you need anything. The food is delicious. Various options including vegetarian as well. the butter chicken and garlic naan especially is amazing 😍 highly recommend and will be my go to spot !
We loved dining at Tandoori Flames! Food and service was amazing!! We especially loved the Chicken Tikka Masala and Tandoori Paneer, along with the Mango Kulfi. Will be recommending to all our friends :)
Go, go, go!! We found this place by accident and from now on, until the end of time, we will eat here. Hubby had the chicken tiki kebab, and I had the slow cooked lentils and rice. We also had the garlic Naan. The music is great too. We are not young people and this is by far the best Indian restaurant we have ever been to.
We had a wonderful experience eating here on Christmas Day. The food was excellent with many choices. It was served hot and tasted delicious.
🌟 Outstanding Wedding Catering Experience! 🌟 We recently attended a wedding catered by this amazing team, and the food was absolutely unforgettable! The variety and quality were exceptional — from rich, flavorful Desi Indian dishes like creamy Butter Chicken and warm Garlic Naan, to perfectly cooked American favorites like Tri-Tip Pasta and Baked Salmon. Every dish was cooked to perfection — tender, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. The fusion of Indian and American cuisines was seamless, offering something for everyone. And the desserts were the highlight — especially the pistachio dessert, which was both elegant and delicious. The catering staff were professional, attentive, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Overall, the food elevated the celebration and left everyone talking about it long after the event. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic flavors, top-notch presentation, and flawless service!
This restaurant is truly outstanding and has quickly become one of my top recommendations for anyone craving authentic Indian food. From the moment we walked in, the experience felt welcoming and genuine. The ambiance sets the tone perfectly, offering a cozy and inviting environment where you can comfortably enjoy a meal with family or friends. What impressed me the most was the consistency of flavors — every dish tasted exactly the way authentic Indian food should. We visited during the lunch buffet, and I must say it was easily one of the best buffets I have experienced in a very long time. The variety was remarkable, with options to suit every palate. Unlike many buffets where one or two items stand out, here every single dish was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The highlight for me was the paneer makhni, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. It truly showcased the chef’s skill in delivering authentic flavors. The service added to the overall great impression. Our server was both polite and attentive, ensuring that drinks were refilled and plates cleared without ever being intrusive. This level of attentiveness made the entire meal even more enjoyable. Another small but delightful touch was the inclusion of hot chai as part of the buffet. It felt like the perfect finishing note to an already exceptional meal — warm, comforting, and absolutely authentic. For anyone who enjoys flavorful, authentic Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I highly recommend it and am already looking forward to my next visit.
The food was so good!!! The full size of tandoori chicken was such a large portion and tasted so tender and flavorful! We also ordered the mango lassi 🤤and the chicken tikka masala with a side of rice and garlic naan. So glad we found this restaurant!! Also the service was very nice and the atmosphere was clean and not crowded.
I have catered from Tandoori flames for event at Mohi Ranch, Morgan Hill. Bitu (Chef) has been very helpful in providing input on the menu and for tasting ($25pp) , he went above an beyond and prepared more dishes than I requested to give me more options in case the menu I selected for tasting is not enough for me and my friends to make a decision. The tasting experience was an experience on its on. For the day of the event, I wanted the appetizers to be disturbed by the staff as well as a buffet style and he accommodated 1 of the appetizer to be passed on by staff and accommodate my request to do indo -fusion desserts as the guests are a mix. He was now a list of great indo fusion desserts - Ladoo cheesecake , pistachio mousse , gulab jamun cheese cake.. The food was not very spicy and everyone loved butter chicken, Buna paneer , malabar prawns . Soy Malai Chops for appetizer was super hit along with fish pakora . thank you Tandoori flames for providing excellent food to meet most of the guests palette
Tandoori Flames took my taste buds on a rollercoaster, and I'll definitely be riding again soon. To start: you should know going in, the portions are enormous. One tandoori entree, an order of rice, and an order of naan is probably more than enough food for the average couple. I didn't know this, so I'll be enjoying leftovers for a while! I started out with the samosas chaat; as someone relatively new to Indian food, I struggled to even comprehend the variety and complexity of flavors and textures. It was delicious. Order some naan on the side to enjoy what's left after you finish the samosas. The chicken tikka and tandoori chicken were both excellent. The portions were enormous, and the sauces offered strong complimentary flavors. When I come back, I'll definitely order one tandoori entree and one curry, to balance out the wet-to-dry ratio, and give me more sauce for dipping naan. The menu is large, but it's not intimidating; there are helpful explanations for every dish. If your spicy tolerance is low (like me), go for a refreshing mango lassi. But if you like spicy food, get one just because it tastes really good. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the table had plenty of space to fill with dishes. My server did an outstanding job and took my experience to the next level. Quite honestly, it would be difficult for me to find a substantive critique of Tandoori Flames. I will be back, often.
Wanted to dive into their buffet but nope, looks like no buffets on weekends. So tried the chef's specials instead: chole bhature, Dahi batata puri, and Amritsari Kulche with dahi butter achaar. Overall good! Less salty than usual desi joints, tasted homemade - non-greasy and all. Will return to try their buffet someday.
I went for the buffet lunch. It was pretty good. They had chicken Tikka masala which i like. They didn't have butter chicken out for nugget.
Good food, Kind staff, nice ambiance. Ordered vegetarian dinner, samosa chaat, paneer kali mirch (sizzlers), Paneer tikka masala, Malai kofta, Vegetable korma, naans and chilli cheese naan all were good, we asked gravy to be spicy, all tasted great and worth trying again. Vegetable pulav was nothing special, Gobi Manchurian was too hard, not crisp, beer was not chilled.
A very good Indian restaurant in Morgan Hill located in downtown area. We were pleasantly surprised to find one here frankly. The seating is good and comfortable. There’s some all weather seating for a few outside as well. High chairs are also available for the kids. We ordered paneer masala and bhendi fry along with tandoori rotis followed by a biryani. All preparations were good. The service was also very appreciable. Cost is in line with the other Indian restaurants. Parking was not an issue.
The food here is very genuinely well made, but we had to wait a looooong time before it made its entrance. Credit where it’s due, the lassis arrived quickly, and they were refreshing. The chaat took ages. The mains followed, another decade later. By then we had bonded with the table. That said, the garlic naan was fresh, and the methi malai chicken was creamy, and worth savoring. The staff were profusely apologetic about the delay, and it did seem like there may have been something genuinely off behind the scenes. Good food, warm service, but bring a little extra patience with you.
5 star for food always, but service is too damn slow. This is from 4-5 dine in and 5-6 take out orders. There is only one person managing people, taking phone-door dash orders. Sometimes you have to wait for 30mins+ just to get an extra dish you ordered while dining in. Again on 01/03/2025 the photo is not papdi chat, its bhel. Wasted $11 Pick ups say ready in 20mins, i had to wait to 45min on a friday. Food is always great no doubt but they need to amp up their speed.
Slow service, very small potion sizes for what you pay for flavors weren't bad but definitely not great. Nothing like receiving the last part of your order as you finish the meal if this is the best of I'd assume thier competition is either non existent of horrible
