​I recently stopped by Panera Bread for a quick lunch, and since the seasonal menu is in full swing, I couldn’t resist ordering the Autumn Squash Soup. As someone who appreciates a well-balanced, comforting meal—especially when the weather starts to turn—this bowl really hit the mark. ​The Flavor Profile ​The soup is a masterclass in seasonal flavors. It’s a rich blend of butternut squash and pumpkin, which provides a natural, velvety sweetness that isn't overpowering. What elevates it from a standard squash soup is the subtle infusion of apple juice and warm spices like cinnamon and curry. It’s sweet, savory, and slightly earthy all at once. The addition of a little heavy cream gives it a luxurious mouthfeel that makes it feel like a true "treat" rather than just a side dish. ​Texture and Toppings ​I opted for the bowl size, and it came topped with a generous sprinkle of salty roasted pumpkin seeds (pepitas). This is a crucial detail—the crunch of the seeds perfectly offsets the smoothness of the puree. I paired mine with the classic sourdough baguette, which is essential for dipping and ensuring not a single drop of that golden broth goes to waste. ​The Experience ​The service at this location was efficient, and the "pick-up" process was seamless, which I always appreciate. Had the Croque Monsieur croissant toast. It was okay. Messy to eat and I don't like that. The order took a while (two sandwiches and a salad). The area where people wait for their order is small and crowded. It's by the only trash can I could find and the soda fountain. Not well laid out IMHO.

River Song Pond

This is a nicer Panera bread. The place is usually pretty cozy and the food is good. The workers here are always very nice and hard working. The only issue with this location is the spacing. If it's a busy day, you can expect it to be packed full. The tables are closer together and the booths are very few. On winter days where you can't sit outside, this makes for a crowded, overwhelming time.

My favorite place to eat. Clean, good service. If you sit at the back you see nothing but nature, that calms your soul. Parking is available. Dine in or take out your choice.

Gave me a small amount of ice, and there’s wasn’t as much tuna but more lettuce as to when I usually order food from this place.

I was ignored by the employee who was making himself a cup of coffee while I stood at the counter to order. After a few minutes, I ordered at the tablets. The Asiago cheese bagel was doughy and bland. The person I asked where I could get my cup for coffee just pointed up front and said nothing then walked away. I had to reach over the ordering counter to grab a cup because I was still being ignored. Overall, not a great experience and I won’t be back any time soon.

My son wanted to go to panera after hockey. It was 330pm and we stopped and ordered on the iPad when you come in.i notice when I got my family food that my husband's and sons bread for there sandwich was different. I went back to ask and said excuse me I think this bread is wrong for this sandwich its supposed to be a bagel. Which she replied " umm well that is a bagel" I said yes I understand but we have got this sandwich in the past and it is not the same bread. She stared at me and never said anything. I've been to alot of panera's and have never been treated so poorly. The young blonde that makes the food needs better training on how to treat others.

Got this order to go, I guess the small green mush in the corner is the avacado looks nothing like the photo... Also I asked for the yogurt on the side and it looks like they put it in and scooped it back out because it had onions and stuff in it throughly disappointed.

The employees at 3:30pm 2/1/26 were extremely rude. They seriously need a evaluation them. The food was trash compared to ever other Penera we have been to. Also every tabe in the place was covered in leftover food. Totally disgusting and disappointing.

Their food is absolute garbage compared to literally any other Panera. I dont know if they just dont follow the same recipe or what. Also I had an order which they charged me for but never gave me the food. They have no way of reimbursing me for the order. Absolute terrible customer service.

I wish I could give them a -100. I have NEVER been so disrespected from a place I was spending my money at from the store manager another manager and an employee. Im pretty sure Panera doesn't tolerate this type of behavior and I will be on with corporate first thing Monday morning.
