We like the Big Lake Subway, they are quick but also get your order right. The friendliness is what makes you go back. We usually go near the lunch hour, so only can share about the daytime people. 🙂 They made it easy to use a coupon on our phones, which we had never done before.
The sandwich artist was patient with me as I decided what to order. Our sandwiches were tasty and of course fresh. Store was clean and pleasant. I only wish they had that crazy-good strawberry lemonade!
I want to update my rating. Lately this subway has been so awesome! The new staff works so hard and the sandwiches are so good! Thank you for all the improvements this is awesome. This is the second time I have ordered and the sandwiches were so good! Yay! Also the staff is very professional!
Wow, just wow Tico. His attention to detail with the meat on my foot long was meticulous, it was like watching a show. He curled that meat up and shoved it in my foot long, even with all the toppings on he found a way to make it fit. Thank you for this otherworldly experience with my foot long.

We ordered 3 sandwiches and rode home with a real sense of anticipation. You ever been just so excited to get home and enjoy the beautiful food? From the freshness of the ingredients, to the flavors of them all blended together in one delicious bite? This is how it happens every time I go to this location. Definitely recommend going there

Typically I have bad service at this location. Sunday 11/27 at 3:30pm the man that was working was very polite greeted everyone and even apologized for waiting too long for a bag (which we didn't) I give him a 10 star. Every other time we have been there is been about a 2 star.

Was very busy, about 1pm on Sat. Only 3 employees that i saw. There was a drink spilled on floor in front of pick-up counter that did not get cleaned in the half hour i was there eating. Very friendly service, though out of Monterey cheddar bread, and have apparently discontinued carrying cheddar cheese. Overall, an average fast food experience.
Just ok. I tried the new turkey stuffing sub, very little stuffing, bread was quite dry and over did the cranberry sauce
Terrible Service!!! Went in at 7pm to get a sandwich - get to the veggies & half of them where empty and the employee made no attempt to grab new or even cared. He said there was a rush. Guess what - not my problem. You have one job - make sandwiches - with 2.50 hours left to be open - no excuse not to restock. I will NEVER return. Trying to support local but I pass a Subway on my way home in Monticello so that is where I will go. As of March 2024 they have actual "adults" working during the day who are awesome & service has greatly improved!
I honestly have left there a few times unhappy. I have given very specific, detailed descriptions of how I'd like my sandwich made. Nothing extraordinary, just a difference in how the ingredients are placed. I get dumbfounded looks and when explained again, they still place it however they feel. I'm sorry if it seems petty but I add specific instructions because it's to my taste, my liking that I'm paying for

Went to subway today, and it was interesting. I get inside and the three girls are yelling at each other to come here, from the back room. Then it got weird, every time a person walked in, the girls would say really loudly. Are you the online order? They must of said it like three times. I also noticed their veggie crates were frozen on the side. Also their water in the fridge was frozen as well. Later, got home, opened my sandwich and it looked like a messy taco. As seen in the pictures.

I also noticed their veggie crates were frozen on the side. Also their water in the fridge was frozen as well. Later, got home, opened my sandwich and it looked like a messy taco. Horrible food, the staff members attitudes are hit or miss. Ordered online, when I got home last night all 5 sandwiches we're dried out, burned, (they were untoasted) and there was barely any veggies or condiments on them. This staff member knew he was making garbage and flat out didn't care. 1/10/24 Update, decided to give them another try years later. Ordered The Beast which should have 5 meats totaling 1.5 lbs and double cheese. Got a thin layer of 3 meats and minimal veggies. Normally, this sandwich won't close. At this location, it's smaller than a regular sandwich. I basically gave then an extra $5 for less food, rubbery bread, and since it was an online order, I gave them an undeserved tip. At this point, I have to assume the owner or manager is telling their people to skim ingredients since the workers are different. Just shut the doors. 11-15-24 Wife went there instead of the location that's still decent. This is a chicken bacon ranch with double cheese. Paid for double meat. I could barely find any chicken or bacon. Just mushy tomatoes and lettuce. Pure slop. Owner needs their franchise license taken away since they clearly steal from online orders and have no standards at all.
I ordered pick up this evening after work. We have been going to this location for about 15 years and have received 3-5 star service, depending on who’s working. Love to support local. The sandwich I got today is just….rude! It’s supposed to be steak with american cheese, spinach, onion, banana peppers and sauce. There is no cheese (forgivable), but the meat? What is this? I even left a tip when I pre-payed for my order (and that should NOT determine the “artists” work)…but I always want them to know I appreciate them. I do not appreciate this. How could anyone think this would be okay to serve?

Go here if you want barely any steak on your sandwich and if you want to wait in line forever. We waited 20 minutes in line to order our steak egg and cheese sandwiches only to get it with a small scoop of steak on both sandwiches spread out on a foot long. I expect to get what I pay for not half of it. I'm usually pretty understanding about long lines but this was ridiculous hire some people to get the lines moving faster my goodness. Very upsetting.
These chuckleheads keep mailing me coupons that they refuse to accept at the store. They already made my two sandwiches, though, and I'm definitely not paying double price. So... jokes on them, I guess?
The veggies were all rotten. No exaggeration. I wish I was kidding. Go to the one in Zimmerman instead
I ordered online around 7:45 and pickup would be 8:03 and when I when in it was still not ready and they had a line so I sat in my car for a bit I repeated this till it was ready at 8:40 when I grabbed my food they informed me that they had ran out of a lot of things chicken being one and only having white bread instead of calling me to let me know they made the choice to make it turkey because they had no chicken and only had white bread. So I told them that they should have called and asked what I wanted. They replied with it is what it is. I will never of Back there again they also would not give a refund.
I left a great review for a young man named Brian a while ago and it was the best service I have ever had at a subway. This same subway has also been the worst service I’ve ever had in general. I went in 04/22/24 about 20 minutes before close and we called ahead to make sure they had specific cookies. We got there and an employee had taken them home! I still wanted a sandwich and said I would tip in cash for showing up while they were closing, my girlfriend started asking for her sandwich to be made and the girl behind the counter was eating as she was making it which is disgusting! Then as the sandwich is already being made we are told they are out of bacon, ok no big deal she asks if she can substitute the bacon for steak and pay more, we are then told they don’t have steak and even if they did they can’t do that. When I say ok we are leaving that’s when the manager goes to the back and grabs the steak! I get you guys are closing but I even said I was gonna pay you for being an inconvenience when you are already open so I’m not obligated to. It was a younger girl and a middle aged man who I believe is the manager. Honestly if you hate your job that much just quit please.
My worst experience last night at Subway in Big Lake. 8:49 pm tried to oder 4 ft long subs. No white bread, 6 foot wheat bread, Asiago cheese bread Ft long. Ran out of tomatoes, pepperoni, guchomoli, ... Pretty much I had to substitute every single sub from size of bread and choice. Manager was not available, workers that I do not blame at all, as they stated these items we are left with to make Subs. No discounts for compromised order . I asked around and this location does run out of materials 1 to 2 hrs before closing. Manager is not taking care of sufficient inventory to make subs. Totally disappointed, will be visiting the manger of store tomorrow to discuss my purchase.
