Big Momma’s Number 1 BBQ

Not sure why this place isn't packed. It's been a year since I had my first burger here . Made it a point to get back to this place because their burgers are THE BEST . And great fries. Super nice people there.

The Food is Delicious, smoker going outside let's you know everything is cooked fresh. Melvin the owner is nothing but smiles and courtesy. Great for a quick lunch or has space for a larger group. Big Mommas BBQ is back open and I am one thrilled customer.

My coworker and I were just in there this weekend and it felt like a home-cooked meal. You could tell everything was made from scratch. I was so impressed by the owner, going the extra mile. My coworker asked for a Coke and instead of telling us he was out, he went to the store and got him one. It was truly a great experience. I would highly recommend Big Momma's to anyone traveling thru the area. This place was a gem and we will definitely be going back.

Absolutely delicious and worth a visit! Little hole in the wall restaurant with big promise and tremendous food and great customer service. Friendly atmosphere, warm and welcome interior, and customer service that you can tell they love their job. My personal recommendation is to try the pull pork sandwich. Melts in your mouth and bursts with flavor! Its a must try.

We pulled off cause we were hungry but I'll be make detours to Biggs for the foreseeable future to stop here. The pulled pork sandwich was awesome. Juicy, grilled peppers on top, just excellent. The greens were loaded with pork, southern style, tender and tasty. Most of all, the people were really wonderful and I look forward to my next trip out of town. Good luck, Big Mommas

Food is delicious! I was given a lot of food. The meat on the rib bone was falling off it was so tender. The best of the best. During these times its great to visit and feel safe. People were so friendly. Place was so clean. I have to visit again. Thank you your wonderful hospitality.

Heard great things about this place and took the family in to try a variety of things out. Best ribs I ever had. Is worth the trip when I go back again. Barbecue chicken was great and my daughter said they made the best burger. The owner is a great guy to talk too

Happened upon this local gem on a night walk through the neighborhood. We ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich and half rack ribs, which was larger than full rack of ribs served at most chains. Melvin the owner, was super accommodating along with his wife who handled the cooking duties. Based on serving sizes and friendly service, we will be returning again to sample other items on the menu.

Was excited to finally try. Food was good. Lacking on sides. For what we paid ,( according to receipt) family full rack, 4 chicken & 2 links + 2 more links. Got home to find the smallest rack of ribs ever, 7ribs & 1 bone. Didn't get other 2 links. Was not worth it.

I was here at 1130am on a Friday, the place is empty. Ordered a double cheese burger and potato salad. The burger was pre cooked, pulled from the fridge and warmed up in the microwave. I ate it, but it was not tasty. The potato salad was not good either. Reviews say this place was great a few years ago. It's a shame they fell so far.

Kind of a hole in the wall. Seemed nice and clean. Service was ok, the girl was friendly and soft spoken but didn’t seem to know if they had beef. For a BBQ place I was very disappointed that they didn’t have tri tip or brisket which most BBQ places have. The food was edible but not that tasty. My chicken smelled bad and tasted bad. We had ordered fries with it and they came out just barely covering the bottom of the basket. I feel this place could have been better for it to be the #1 BBQ

I think the ownership must have changed a few months ago because this just can't be the same as the reviews from 6 months ago. I tried to get water and was told they didn't have any. The fried catfish was fresh cooked and good. The girl who waited on us looked about 12 years. She was very polite. I hate leaving bad reviews, but wait for new ownership to try here.

When our waiter came out to bring us our food he just casually mentioned that he was out of chicken so we weren't going to get any but he did add some other items to our plate which we never actually saw. Extremely expensive for what we actually got. It wasn't all bad though because the potato salad was amazing! I would actually recommend visiting this place just for the potato salad and nothing else.
