Really great experience yesterday for an early dinner at Lulu Wild. Friendly staff and beautiful decor set a lovely tone. We fancied dim sum and 'picky bits' so stuck to the small bites section of the menu. Absolutely everything was divine, nicely cooked and seasoned and a range of dipping sauces available. We had a dim sum sharing platter, crispy duck pancakes, bao buns, spring rolls, crispy squid and tender stem broccoli. Also the non-alcoholic cocktails were really inventive, I had a cherry flavoured one which was really tasty. Thanks so much, hope to be back soon!

Went for the Saturday bottomless brunch to celebrate a birthday, service was very quick and Dilip was really great as a waiter, no shortage of drinks and food was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Went there with colleagues for Brunch on a Thursday. It was really calm, atmosphere is great and pretty. The food was good, we went for the brunch menu. My main was chicken and the side of noodles was massive. Both tasty. I got a mocktail that was also tasting good. Overall great experience and the staff was nice.

The food was actually so insanely good, I celebrated with my girlfriend for my birthday and this great staff member Kristian gave respectable and kind service to us. The drinks (Lychee Martini and China Gold - 2 absolutely beautifully made drinks) were made by him and I was actually impressed. Best lowkey atmosphere and honestly made my birthday experience great. Also the Wok Fried Rib Eye in Black Bean and the Stir Fried Shredded Chicken Noodles were absolutely bangers. 10/10 would recommend to go again 🙌🏽

Came in on Friday evening, had the most amazing service from Dilip who was so informative, answered all my questions & gave great recommendations. Made the evening so memorable!!

Went out for my boyfriend’s birthday and decided to do the bottomless. Food was excellent, especially the duck rolls and stir fry chicken in black bean sauce. Service provided my Megan was amazing. Would definitely recommend. Food was great and service was incredible. Thank you lulu wild :) xx

First time visiting here, and won't be the last, we opted for bottomless brunch for 3 when we arrived there was Prosecco already on the table waiting, which was never left to run empty, constantly being topped up throughout by Kristian he was great, Pornstar Martini's were flowing nicely too as soon as the glass was empty Kristian was getting us another, even though there were only 2 cocktails on offer, it didn't matter, the food was amazing too, I highly recommend The Spicy King Prawns.... The atmosphere was amazing even with the rowdy girls on the big long table beside us but they were there to enjoy themselves as were we.... Loved the Decor or the place too

We went for a birthday meal on Friday evening (6pm). It wasn’t too crowded or busy at that time. Food came out quickly and it was nice, everyone enjoyed their food. This is my 2nd going and I will go back again. Kashan was our server, he was really nice, polite and attentive to our needs as a table (5 of us). On the booking form I did click on the birthday option but they didn’t do anything, so not sure if they offer anything for birthdays. The place isn’t the cheapest, everything we ate and drank came up around £200 for 5 people.

The service was out of this world. We came here as a last ditch effort on a visit to Birmingham when our original plan fell through when that place was too loud. Here, from the doorman to the hostess to Lauren our waitress, they went out of their way to find a table for us and to treat us as valued customers even though we didn’t have a booking on a Saturday night. And brilliant with our foodie 11 year old too! Truly above and beyond what we find in most restaurants. The menu was fun and innovative with lots of options with both traditional (classic dim sum, for example) and a little different options. High quality ingredients, including the meats and produce. And heavenly cocktails-try the Lucky Dragon.

Had a fabulous experience with my husband for his birthday. Wonderful dim sum, and bao buns to start, followed by the monk fish and duck main. Great service from Kristian, attentive and friendly and wonderful cocktails to accompany the stunning food.

We were served by Kristian and he was so lovely, professional, and attentive. The decor and atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely and the food was absolutely amazing - my compliments to the chef. I had the firecracker prawns, glazed salmon, and shredded chicken noodles. I would recommend all 3 dishes. Thank you very much for a lovely evening for my Birthday Dinner, very glad we came here :))

Been a while since we went to a Chinese restaurant and I'm so glad we did!!!! Staff were friendly, polite and really good with service! The food arrived in a quick time, served at the correct temperatures. The decor is stunning and the restaurant itself was warm without too much air con (I hate being cold when sitting to eat). I would absolutely eat there again and can recommended this restaurant!

Gorgeous place, food lovely. Shame 2 lots of stairs up to the toilets for people with walking issues but rails each side so not too bad. Found the bunny chair, too. Staff very attentive and friendly. Loved our bottomless brunch.

We got greeted on entrance. Had to wait a bit at the bar for our table to be ready which was ok, bit busy so we couldn’t sit. We were then taken upstairs to our table. Everything was good. Pleasant staff. Nice ambiance. Wish we had shared the rice bowls because the mains portions were quite big.

Fantastic family catch up at Lulu Wild today. Shout out to Kristian who was looking after us. Nothing was too much trouble. He was very knowledgeable about the food and was very honest when we were deciding on our food choices. He definitely made our visit very enjoyable. Portion sizes were huge and food was 100% top tier. Fabulous value for money. Thank you Kristian, I will be back.

Outstanding food and service. One of the best meals I have ever eaten - the most amazing staff. Definitely coming back here and telling everyone I know about it. The crispy duck and pancakes was out of this world. Broccoli could’ve been a bit warmer as went cold very quickly but no complaints it’s was still utterly delicious and beautiful wine too.

Mahak served us and she was great. She had an excellent customer service and a great smile that just made everything nice. Just asked us what the occasion was casually during the conversation and brought us a lovely surprise afterwards. Would definitely come back

Came here for our Valentines meal. All the staff are friendly and welcoming even suggesting a suitable cocktail. ( the one in the photo! ) Meal and drinks were just stunning. Definitely coming back.

I organised our Christmas party at Lulu Wild and it was an absolutely wonderful evening. The management team were brilliant throughout the month of planning, and a special thank you goes to Naomi and Lauren for their attention to detail and for making sure everything ran seamlessly on the night. Lovely meal. We were on the festive menu which had good variety. Food was piping hot. Desserts were particularly good. We had exceptional service from Mahak. My mum has a shellfish allergy and she was really careful to make sure the food we got was suitable. She was also super friendly and attentive.

Mahak was attentive without ever being intrusive, and she had an impressive knowledge of the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be spot on. Throughout the meal, she checked in at just the right times, ensuring everything was perfect. Her professionalism, friendliness, and care made the dining experience feel not just like a dinner out, but a truly special evening. It’s rare to come across someone who can combine efficiency with such warmth and charm, but Mahak managed it effortlessly. Lulu Wild is already a fantastic restaurant, but Mahak’s service took it to another level. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ll be looking forward to being served by her again!

We came here for a birthday lunch, and it was an absolutely perfect experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was delicious, but the standout was undoubtedly the service. A huge thank you to Megan and Monty for their exceptional care and attention. I went here on Friday for an early Valentine’s Day meal. We ordered from the Valentine’s Day set menu, which included a Starter, Main and Side. Dessert was an optional £5. The food was absolutely amazing, I especially loved the Stir Fry Fillet Steak with Tender-stem Broccoli. Most of all, the service provided by Megan was excellent, she was attentive and helpful at answering our queries around the food. Thank you Lulu Wild for the excellent experience.

We came here for a birthday. The ambiance was very lively and loud for a Saturday night. The food was even better than Tatu and the chicken and lamb is halal which is a bonus.

Upon entering the decor was warm and elegant with gold hues across the tables, chairs and the bar. The service was impeccable as we were quickly seated and the waitress was friendly and well informed on allergens noted in the reservation booking details. The drinks were made from fresh ingredients and the dinner dishes were incredibly flavourful though slightly small in their portion sizes. Overall, a little pricey but definitely a restaurant worth revisiting on a special occasion and for the lavish quality received.

Reasonably priced for an aesthetic interior and great service. 🍤 The food was good but didn’t blow me away. Nothing I haven’t tasted before. I would visit again as it’s one of the few places near Brindley Place offering halal food (halal chicken and lamb). For a restaurant in Birmingham I do expect there to be more halal and vegan options. There were only a few dishes marked vegan. Nice interior and bathrooms, friendly staff and cosy decor with private booths.

Great upmarket Chinese restaurant in Brindly Place. Food was lovely, lots of great options which included well delivered versions of what you'd expect along with a few surprises. Extensive cocktail list too. I had a delicious spicy monkfish dish, my wife chicken satay and our seven year old had prawn fried rice. The prawn fried rice was a little on the bland side unfortunately, as was the egg fired rice my wife and I shared. We had some plan baos and greens too - again, lovely. Prices are a little on the high side, we'd used first tabel which made them more reasonable. Staff did an unexpected birthday treat for our seven year old, which was really nice. Would recommend overall!

The only reason I have given this place a 2 and not a 0 is due to the small plates and sides being really nice. In particular the chicken wings and broccoli.0 I called the previous day for a booking for a birthday table and they said they were fully booked and only had a table for 4 available at 8pm. I called on the day due to having fewer people and I was able to get a table for 5. When I arrived there was only 1 table occupied, the restaurant was completely empty. Due to the reviews and pricing I expected high quality dining in all areas. I ordered the bang bang prawns which were nice 6/10 and chicken wings which were 8/10. I was told by the waiter that their prawn noodles was the best and their prawn fried rice. When it came out I found it very dry and tasteless 3/10 worst prawn noodles and prawn fried rice I ever had. I asked if the chef could make it wet in some sauce and the waiter said no and that he will bring me out some sweet chilli sauce which will make it better but it did not. Maybe it was due to the time as we ordered it at 9pm but due to the restaurant being EMPTY I still expected the dishes to come out much better. I asked if I could have some oyster sauce and they said no. We also ordered some broccoli tender stems which were very nice 8/10. I tasted their chicken noodles they were much better 5/10. We were seated in the corner and I found the waiters not attentive due to us being in the corner or due to the time. I had a cocktail mountain and we found it overly sweet with no taste of alcohol. The glass also broke on a book! That’s how thin the glass was. After the waiter cleaned the table there was still glass on the table and I had to ask him to bring me another drink. After that the waiters changed and we asked for the bill but they didn’t clear our table, it should have been done as soon as they seen that we were finished but due to being in the corner they probably didn’t. The last waiter I found extremely rude and inappropriate. I told him to take off the service charge and he asked why and I responded that the service was not attentive and I didn’t like the food. He walked off straight away and after a while he came back. I asked where is the other waiter who was first serving us and he said it doesn’t matter. I said he is rude and he said no you are rude. You are rude, and you don’t like the food but you ate it all and he walked off and never came back. If he does not like my response or cannot handle a response from a guest due to their experience, then he should not be working in hospitality or have even asked why I didn’t want to pay for the service charge. I have worked in hospitality for over 15 years and his customer service was appalling. Due to the glass smashing on a book. The main food being tasteless and dry. The waiter being rude after he took our payment I would have asked for my money back. I will never ever come back to this establishment again. Our bill came up to over £250. For a restaurant of this standard and to know it is a birthday booking I would expect their service and food to be exceptional. The food did come out pretty quick but maybe that is why the food was not nice. The waiter actually ruined my birthday due to how rude and out of place his mouth was. I gave my main food to other guests due to it being dry and tasteless and he had the cheek to tell me I ate it all. He should not work in this sector or took a job if he doesn’t know how to provide a high service to customers. I didn’t get no complimentary happy birthday plate, had to ask for my cake to be bought out, the service from the last waiter was 0. The food and especially the last waiter really ruined my birthday. After the waiter was so cheeky and walked off I was ready to leave seeing as the waiter couldn’t come back to make me tell him about his attitude and service, acting as if he served us from the start and knowing what I ate. I didn’t want them to bring out my cake as I was completely done with being there, my guests forced me but at this point I didn’t even want them to touch or handle my cake.

Staff poured a drink on us literally soaked the bar and us and said nothing. No apology no help just carried on there day whilst we cleaned the bar our jackets, trousers and bar. This used to be a decent upscale with a good price range bar. Not the case anymore so we'll avoid

I want to make people aware that even if you book in advance you will be made to either wait at the bar while others are seated or accept a table in the reception if you don’t like this you will simply get a shrug of the shoulders and told that they are fully booked. Point to note that if all your tables are booked then don’t accept any more bookings The only good thing I can say that the bar staff are on point and make a good cocktail

I went to this restaurant with my friend to celebrate my birthday on 31/01/2026 and it turned into an absolute nightmare. Despite having a booking, we were left waiting 15 minutes for a table with no apology. From the very beginning, the service was chaotic and careless. Our starters arrived before the cocktails, which we had to repeatedly ask for. The food itself was completely tasteless and clearly poorly prepared and to top it all off, we both ended up with food poisoning afterwards. A service charge was automatically added to the bill, which is frankly insulting given the level of service. There was nothing “service-worthy” about this experience. The bill came to £136.70. We paid £140 in cash and were then left waiting around 30 minutes for our change, as the waitress seemingly hoped we would give up and leave it. This is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. A shocking, embarrassing experience that ruined my birthday. I strongly urge people to avoid this place unless they enjoy bad food, poor service, and risking their health. Absolutely not worth the money.
