Quaint brewery with some great food selections. Tomato soup was perfect for the first cold day of the year! Worth a stop when in the area.

The Mahi Tacos and their hefeweizen were awesome. Great selection of not just beer, but food and drinks too.p

On our way to Indy we stopped by to have lunch. We had visited their Champagne location several years ago and had a great time. The new place in Normal was fabulous. Drinks looked great, food was excellent and beer was 🔥 The food was way more than just brewpub food and was made with heart. Can't wait to visit again

We went to the towanda rd location not the brewery Had a server named Jacob, super friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu hit all the (Server) points told us about the specials recommended some of his favorite dishes joked around interacted with my daughter who’s three definitely a very strong (Server) and you guys would be losing out if you ever lost him Food was incredible from presentation to taste. You can tell her they took their time with ingredients and assembling the right items for the menu. We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, Caesar salad, cheese, curds, mac & cheese with fruit for my daughter and beer, battered bacon cheeseburger. Very busy establishment, price was moderate $$$ out of $$$$$ spent 103.56$ for 3 people 1000% recommend this place for a Friday night after a busy work week!

We met friends here in our travels and loved how they didn't rush us, even though we were there for a very long lunch. We had a reservation for the outdoor patio, but since they were short-staffed, we waited about five minutes after our reserved time, despite arriving 15 minutes early. Once we were seated, we had fabulous service from multiple staff members. We all loved our meals and everything at nearby tables looked good, too. I've eaten here previously, but this was my best experience and the food was very good. Our foursome enjoyed burgers, pizza and a Reuben. The fresh chips in their beer were fantastic. I'd highly recommend and I love the outdoor patio, although the inside is quite charming with the industrial farm vibe. 4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything we ate was delicious!!! 1st time dining here and 1st time visiting Normal, IL. My co-worker and I enjoyed every bite! Our server Ella or Ellie was amazing!! Great suggestions from appetizer to dessert! The red fish was superb, the beer battered asparagus was sooo good! And the Lemon Berry cake was moist and simply delectable!! This was by far one of the best restaurants I've eaten at, and that's huge since we travel weekly throughout the US!

Went to lunch and was thoroughly impressed with everything. Food was top notch, service was impeccable. Swing by and enjoy for yourself!

I ate here with my best friend for the first time and it was very delicious. The atmosphere was great, not too loud and very comfortable booths. The service was wonderful and prompt. I had an old fashioned and it was made very well. Our favorite was the dessert. I would come back just to eat the cake! I would highly recommend the Lemon Cream Cake 😍

We had a great Friday night dinner here with our friends. The beer battered asparagus was amazing! Be cheese curds were an Italian style, with a panko type breading and marinara dipping sauce. The specialty Bree, arugula, mushroom and blueberry pizza was phenomenal and definitely the best thing on the table. Our waitress was super attentive, and the drinks were really good. I would definitely come back.

Fried asparagus was nice and crispy. No issues with any of the drinks. Fish tacos had a very nice bold rich flavor, and the pot roast tasted like my grandma made it! Wonderful experience

Had an incredible lunch with my girlfriend. We enjoyed the crab rangoon dip, corn and chicken chowder, cubano and spicy chicken sandwiches with fries and slaw. The food is all 10/10. The beer is among the best breweries we have had. Our server Stephanie was incredible and attentive. We can’t wait to come back again. Give them a try!

Beautiful restaurant, attentive service, and made-to-perfection food. Can’t ask for more!! Our experience here on Friday was a solid 5-star! The receptionist who answered our call was very warm and accommodating. Our server Maddy was warm, attentive and knowledgeable. The pretzel is a must! Perfectly baked and sauces were deliciously seasoned. The baked clam was a new dish. They were good. The cioppino was good as well but the flavor was lighter than what we would have in an Italian restaurant. The ribeye was perfectly prepared - medium rare as we requested. Our two favorite desserts here were delicious and a perfect way to finish a fantastic meal! The whole experience is why we drive an hour to come every time!

If you're in the area this is probably considered one of the best places to eat in town. Get what you pay for so expect the bill to be a little bit more but the portion size and the quality of the food reflect the price. Menu item pictured is the turkey and havarti Club. I will say this is the best club sandwich I've ever eaten anywhere in the entire midwest. The service was fantastic, the food is always awesome, and overall The Establishment was Lively with an awesome outdoor patio and large bar inside with large selection of drinks. I'm from out of town up in the Quad Cities so every time I stop down this is the number one place that I always stop at to get lunch before heading home. Definitely check this place out.

This was a great place for our date night! We started with the seafood chowder which was great. Then we shared the fried bacon (not on the menu) but a smashing hit. Pair that with the fried cheese curds. Take a bite of the fried bacon with a cheese curd and enjoy the flavor and texture profiles they bring together. I had the bacon burger with fried egg done medium . She had the pork tenderloins and we split the lemon berry cake. Everything was excellent except the cake. Something was off with it.

Cool spot to hit for a bite to eat or some brews. They have daily foods specials which I could not resist. The entree of the day, pork and veal ragout pappardelle was delightful. The garlic bread on the side was delish and I could have eaten 8 of those. The dish itself was on the lighter side and all the flavors paired well together. I would definitely come back here if I was in the area to try some of the normal menu items.

Great food and atmosphere! Kids loved the Mac and cheese and we had braised beef and tenderloin stroganoff and it was amazing! Stopped it off with a 1 Pound piece of chocolate cake! Yes, it was massive and big enough for 6 people

I really enjoyed my meal there. The food all looked so good that I need to go back to try some other things. I got the beer battered bacon burger and it was AWESOME!!

Another place with a great vegan option. I had the Banana Curry with tofu. I definitely recommend it! Great beer options, especially after a move in day at ISU.

Stopped here for an early dinner during a work trip and tried their Peruvian Ceviche. Wow!!! It's delicious! I also asked for a flight to try some of their beers and they're all fantastic! Really nice and chill atmosphere. Maggie, at the bar, was very attentive. She made some great suggestions and answer all of my questions about their food and beer selection. Definitely worth checking out this place if you're in town.

Everything was very good! The fries were the only thing that wasn't very good. I got the bacon Mac and cheese and my husband got the spicy chicken sandwich. The drink was a sangria Blanco. It was refreshing. We'll definitely be back again!

This place is awesome. We love to come as a family, and always leave with a wonderful haul of great beer to go home with. Can't wait to return!

Omg! I came to Normal Illinois for my son’s graduation from Houston . Asked where he want to go for celebration dinner. He took us here . From enter the restaurant Owner? Or some gentleman open the door for us . And nice waitress recommended “Pork tender loin “ I’m shocked really really ,…. Really delicious great customer service and great food . I think I want to give them more than 5 star maybe 10 ⭐️. I think Chef is “iron Chef “ people maybe should come over to eat from any other states . Thank you for great foods . Not just me . All my family were very happy . My son stay here at normal . So I will be back sometime . Thank you 🙏

Lunch on a Saturday was great, our service was fantastic; food was very tasty and the beer options were good to great. Anne was our server and she was amazing! I hope her manager sees this and gives her a raise!

One of the BEST places to eat in Blo/No. I havent had anything I didnt like at this restaruant ... and Im a somewhat picky eater. My goto is the Turkey Sandwich, I started asking for it on a Brioche bun... (the one from the chicken sandwich, which is also amazing) and its top 3 BEST sandwiches Ive ever had. Maybe number one. I used to get potato wedges with it, but recently tried the cole slaw... and its amazing. It has onions and redpeppers and I dont know what else... but it SLAPS...!! The chicken biscuit and gravy from the brunch is a monster... The pizzas are amazing... the pasta is amazing... DESTIHL is a local gem...!! The girl at the bar, Jen is such an incredible server and such a nice person. The staff is always incredibly hospitable... I cant say enough good things about DESTIHL...!!

Very fun menu! I really liked that they had a few non alcoholic drink options. I had some sort of very herbal N/A drink (I forgot the name 😅 and my husband had a negroni. We split the chorizo dates and a bowl of the gumbo from the specials for starters. First time Ive had alligator! I had the lionsmane and prosciutto pizza, my husband had the falafel (which is vegetarian if I remember correctly) and both were amazing. Pizza has a good crust that was crisp without being overdone on the bottom. The falafel had tons of flavors and textures going on that all worked well together. Not to mention the fries that came with it were great too. Our server was a sweetheart and apologized for the wait (there was hardly any) and did an amazing job. Definitely planning to revisit next time we're in town.

I was with a large private group. The service was sensational. I had the beef pot roast. Perfect serving size and just the right thing to satisfy my Midwestern cravings. For dessert we were offered carrot cake, chocolate cake, and lemon terrmasu. All 3 were outstanding.

We recently met up with friends in Bloomington-Normal for Sunday lunch at Destihl. There were 8 of us and we had a wonderful meal and fantastic service. The menu is huge and each one of us tried a different option--all delicious. Our server, Monica, was outstanding. She was personable, offered advice, answered questions, and encouraged our fun. She also took a great photo of the group to share with friends who couldn't make it. We will definitely ask for her the next time we're in!

Delicious food and excellent service. We had a large group and everything came out correct and perfectly done. There are so many menu choices. I enjoyed the pot roast. The fish and chips and schnitzel looked delicious as well.

The food is very consistent. I only order about three things off the menu but they’re always good. I’m impressed the most with the bartender Jack he always greets you with a smile and is very knowledgeable of all the beers, drinks, and just a good person overall. He always knows what Amanda, Emma, and myself order but still asks do you guys want something different. He’s a great asset to a great company and restaurant! Highly recommend!! Thanks Jack for the top notch service!!

DESTIHL has been on my son’s list since moving to the area in May. We came here for dinner on Sunday night. The atmosphere inside and out is warm and inviting. It was great weather so opted for outside. Our server Monica N. was absolutely fantastic. So friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Great cocktail, beer and wine options. For starters we had the Bavarian pretzel and the Crab Rangoon dip. Both were delicious. Our entree’s were the salmon burger and the Vegetable banana curry. My salmon burger was very tasty. My son’s curry dish was lackluster… the curry and vegetables were very bland, but the rice was flavorful. Overall we enjoyed our evening and will be back to sample more of the menu.

I needed beer flights. So we chose Destihl for dinner. For a Saturday in Bloomington/Normal we got in pretty quick after calling ahead. Truly enjoyed my beer selection from Ann our server. Only 1 I didn't enjoy and that was the Redbird. I had the Thai fried chicken which is a shift for many of my orders. It was good. The wife had a bacon cheeseburger and our other diner had the chicken stuffed pasta. Burgers are burgers but I tried the Pasta and it was a good choice. We also had the pretzel and the snack tray. Both good choices. Now for the bad news. They offer huge cake slices. We chose to try the chocolate cake. Best part of the cake was the cream on the side. Cake was dry and still over dense due to being cold.

This made a great place to stop for lunch while driving to WI. I generally hit the Portillos in town but this was the second trip through in as many weeks and I decided to try something different. I ordered the Brewmaster: chipotle espresso bbq sauce, weissenheimer hefeweizen chicken, andouille, crispy red onion, candied jalapeño, cilantro, stout-soaked swiss, italian cheeses. I can't stomach jalapenos so they were deleted. Pizza showed up in a reasonable amount of time. Crust had a nice bite to it and a bit of a brewery taste. Guessing they use some amount of spent grain in their pizza dough but could be wrong. All toppings were plentiful and worked very well together. The overall impression is bbq, not pizza but the pizza part certainly works. Service was about as expected in a place populated with a business crowd at lunch.

Great dinner tonight! Place is clean and service is stellar. The fried cheese curds are delicious and the banana cream pie is the best we’ve EVER had. No kidding, it’s that good. Mixed drinks are adequately strong and a nice selection of their own brewed beers and seltzers. Would return if we were in this area again.

Love this place with the variety of food choices and their own brewed beer. The atmosphere and decorations are great. The place looks very contemporary. Ordered the Salmon and Potatoes entree with plenty of shareable appetizers for the dozen plus group size I came with. The beer battereed asparagus was the best appetizer in my opinion. Only thing I would say needs improvement is the speed of service - The food took a VERY long time to come out after being ordered and the waiter was not checking in frequently for drink orders. There are ALOT of beer options to select from. Ordered the flight which consists of four - 4 oz options. Overall, this place is very good to hang out at and I would definitely visit again when in the area.

Pablano pepper was very good. Thai Chicken was good but not amazing.

Good food, good service. The server describes the item on the menu beautifully. The salmon was decent but I had Baxters a week prior which I thought was better. I had an interesting drink. It was a little too sweet for my taste. We also had a barrel bourbon aged beer that was good and paired well with the meal...

I visited this restaurant with my husband, we had a bad experience, the food is of low quality compared to the price. He ordered a pasta with shrimp and they only served him 3 shrimps and it cost approximately 22 dollars. We had other expectations regarding the taste and quality of the food, since we had visited DESTIHL Brewery and Beer and without a doubt the quality and taste was better. We won't go back to this restaurant.

The typical dining experience here has deteriorated over the years. The pork on my plate had a large, sharp bone I found in my first bite. The next bite tasted dried and reheated. Breading refused to stick to pork cutlets and fried chicken. The meat on all the dishes was cooked to the point of being dry and stringy. The cheese curds were overcooked husks of breading while the fries were undercooked. The bacon wrapped dates were the only thing that remained good. The table service was great and the atmosphere is still nice, but managament has allowed the food to backslide into mediocrity. Support flavor, boycott bland.

Ordered two servings of the pot roast (priced at just under $20 a plate) We were both very disappointed as the meat was tough, and sort of bland with lots of fatty pieces mixed in, the onions weren’t soft, nor the carrots, and there were very little potatoes. It was unfortunate that we chose to spend the amount of money we did and be so underwhelmed. We’ve had it in the past and loved it, however tonight will cause us to refrain from going for a while as the poor quality put a sour taste in our mouths.
