Food was excellent. I highly recommend the chicken tikka masala and don’t be afraid of a little heat. It pairs great with the cheese and garlic nan bread.
We've placed a couple large pick-up orders for 25-20 people for lunch and Best Indian had always done exemplary. the order was 100% correct, they suggested combing the rice into a large tray, which worked out great for everyone involved. The last time we ordered they were running a little behind but they called us in plenty of time so we didn't have someone waiting there (it was only 15 minutes). I got the Achaari Chicken last time at level 6 and it was phenomenal. It had a good amount of heat to it but the flavor was still the star of the show.
The best Indian restaurant for real!!! The service is amazing. The girl who take our order was really kind, the food was delicious and good portion.
My first time stopping by here. First impression- the restaurant is spotless- the staff is very friendly. I ordered to go. Without knowing what to expect, I ordered a spice level of 2. We had paneer makhani, mater paneer, and garlic naan. Spice level was perfect, great flavors. We’re fairly new to the area and have tried several Indian restaurants and have been disappointed, but not yesterday! We will definitely be back!
I call in to do a pick up order and it’s time to close like maybe I have 30 minutes or 40 minutes the customer service I give it 10 the restaurant the cleanest one I see to right now from the bathroom inside the bar from outside. I recommend everybody This restaurant if you wanna invite your family or you wanna pick up order and I pick up my food it just came out in the time and the customer service is amazing. Thank you for this amazing food. The food is delicious too.
This place was amazing! I came in late after a wonderful show at Go-Go Bananas. The staff was cleaning up and I asked if they were closed they said no come on in. I told them it was ok it is late on a Wednesday I get if they’re closing and ready to call it a night. The young lady said no please come in and make yourself at home it’s no problem for us, I’m glad I did. I got the chicken Marsala and it was the bomb! Nice portion, fair price, and phenomenal quality. My bartender was Parbh whom I learned is also the manager she was quick to get me a drink refill on water and get me a cold drink while my food was being prepared. Sure enough as my second drink came out so did the food. It was a nice sit down dinner and at most 40 minutes of my time I’m sure this isn’t the norm as it was slow being a late Wednesday but everything about the experience was Exceptional.

While visiting the area, we dined here with our local family members. They had eaten there before, but it was our first time dining here. It was absolutely delicious. everything from the garlic naan to the papadums to the rice and the entrees. we all ate all of it. The youngest member of our group (elementary aged & a picky eater) actually said that they could not stop eating the rice. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I forgot to take pictures. I remembered when I stepped out of the restaurant so I took a picture of the front of the restaurant just as a reminder, definitely worth a visit. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
This was my first visit to Best Indian. It’s a newer restaurant (only open seven months) located in Montgomery near Go Bananas. The vibe was relaxed/modern – perfect for date night or a get together with friends. Haran took excellent care of us & was extremely courteous. I had (my first) strawberry lassi (great to enjoy with the meal), chicken tikka masala (perfectly buttery), lamb vindaloo (everything was so tender), & the cheese + garlic naan (as amazing as it sounds). I will definitely be back & might even up my spice level a little next time 🔥

This was my first time eating here and I placed my order over the phone. Customer service is great , I didn’t know what the dish was called that I wanted but she helped me to figure it out. My order was made faster than the time they quoted. The lunch portion is perfect for one person. I ordered the lamb biryana with the yogurt sauce. They even gave me a sweet white sauce with it, I don’t know the name of the sauce but it was good. Can’t wait to eat here again. I didn’t care for the lamb so I will try chicken next time. As far as spice level it goes up to 6 and I tried level 1 which was not spicy at all.
Just happened upon this restaurant by chance yesterday and so glad we did! Hubby has several allergies and they were happy to accommodate. The food was delicious! Haven't had Indian food in a while. Last time we did it was very greasy, so we haven't been actively looking for a new place. We will be back. Had salad, samosas, lentil soup, saag paneer (the best!), and lamb biryani. Very happy with the service, and the owner was gracious and kind.
This place is amazing with great service and friendly staff. The atmosphere is newly updated with a fantastic bar and great food options. Please make sure to try the chicken tikka Marsala. My favorite.
The first time I tried this place, I ordered a takeout feast for my family (we are all Indian food addicts). Online ordering is very convenient/timely and I can tell their service is very good just based on my pickup experience. Now for the food: the vegetable samosas were very good and exactly what I'd hope for. The kashmiri and garlic naan were both pretty decent, got the job done, and had huge portions. The kadhai ginger chicken and traditional fish curry were both excellent -- great flavors and textures, and I'd eat them any day. The shrimp bhuna was decent, not my favorite; the shrimp didn't taste super fresh, but everyone else liked it, so maybe it was just me. The bhartha was amazing -- 10/10 dish for me! I went with regular or medium spice on all the curries and the heat was noticeable, but relatively mild for most. I could definitely go a step hotter without it being overwhelming, but I have a decent spice tolerance. Overall, everybody was happy with everything. I'll definitely be coming back regularly.

New Indian restaurant (new ownership, previously known as Tandoor India). The staff brings a youthful energy about them in their service, loved it! Saag Cholay and paneer makhani (spice level 2) were good, can use a bit more flavor but I’ll try it again with a higher spice next time. Appetizers (samosa and paneer tikka) were underwhelming but next time I’ll be ordering the chili paneer, I find with new restaurants you have to try it a few times to find their gems. They have a full bar including Indian beers (Taj Mahal), and non-alcoholic beers, as well as liquors - glasses were cold and beers tasted fresh! Overall, it’s got a clean, fresh atmosphere inside. You could watch a match or sports on their TVs during dinner, but not too many TVs that it’s overwhelming. I recommend this place and look forward to how they improve and further refine their dishes! 🙌🏽
I'm not sure when the ownership changed but this place has been transformed in a great way. The inside is absolutely updated and bright and clean - it is a welcoming place. The food was very good too! The garlic nan was delicious and the chicken Tika masala was really rich and full of spice. This a new top of list Indiana restaurant for Mongomery for sure.
My sister and I stopped in for lunch, and we absolutely loved everything! It was our first time since the ownership change. The decor is so beautiful. I loved how they were playing music on what seemed to be Youtube, and it had a classic fireplace living room on it. Very cozy touch and weather appropriate. We started with a Chai and a Golden Milk for our drinks and Vegetable Samosas for our appetizer. The side sauces are phenomenal and tasted so fresh! The teas were a perfect temperature to immediately start drinking them and still be hot, and the samosas were awesome. We both got the Chicken Tikka Masala as our entrée. She got a Spice level 4, lunch size, and I got 6 out of 6 🔥 (I'm a Spice Hound) the dinner size. I also got the Garlic Naan as well. Don't remember what hers was lol Everything was perfect. The spiciness was on point. I could personally have it spicier, but I'm broken haha When they said the Best Indian, they sure mean it 😋 For dessert, we had their Rice Pudding. A wonderful end to our spicy meal. The staff are friendly and attentive. Can't wait to take my boyfriend to try it, too.
We got dinner here for 8 people for take out. They were fast and it was a lot of food. Would say they have a bit spicier than used to for the star rating. In general, the Vindaloo sauce was much more tomato based and found it not very good. But all other food was great.
Totally remodeled from prior tandoor Indian space. very comfortable and modern but disappointly without the lunch buffet. Big menu, big portions. Great naan. attentive efficient wait staff. needs some well priced combo meals or small plates for solo diners, lunch customers or anyone wanting to avoid wasteful ordering. plenty of parking.
This has been on the list of places to visit for me. We ordered French Fries for kids and Paneer Pakora for us. The paneer pakora went by too fast. It was crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. The paneer was so tender and wasn’t chewy or rubbery. I enjoyed it a lot and I usually don’t enjoy paneer. We ordered some aloo paratha, plain naan, and chili naan to go with some navrathan korma. The korma was very watery and didn’t have that rich korma consistency. The taste was amazing despite that. The rotis were soft and freshly made as well. The kids got a mango juice and a mango lassi. The juice tasted just like frooti but the mango lassi was a delight. The portions matched the price and for once we went home with our stomach full. It is a little bit on the pricier side, but again the quality matches the price.
