Yakitori Sake House - Boca Raton

Absolutely one of Boca's finest. Great selections of quality sushi, sashimi and tasty fresh Asians menu offerings. We visit the restaurant on a Saturday night. We had a large party of nine. Parking, as with anything in or near the Boca Mizner surrounding area is a nightmare unless you opt in with the vallet option. We were seated in the covered patio area, immediately as we arrived for our reservation. Everyone in our party were extremely satisfied with their selections. From tasty appetizers, salads, to unique sushi rollls and hot entrees everything was of high quality, perfectly prepared, seasoned and expertly cooked. For apps, we had the Blue Crab Gyoza, Tempura Calamari and Bang Bang Shrimp. Black Dragon, Sex on the Moon, Out of Control and Rocky Mountain were our selection of "Signature" sushi rollls. The Lamb Chops from Robata Grill selection was perfectly grilled and seasoned. Crispy Beef with orange peel, Mongolian Beef and Lobster Pad Thai were all delicious. Service was great, our waitress were on point with drink refills and took care of our large party with a smile. Great place, with delicious food and awesome service.

Awesome food service and location. Gyoza excellent and spicy tuna roll large and delicious. Hot sour soup delicious. Came with picky ramen eater who liked it. Interior a bit dark and run down and could use refresh but food very good.

Super great & delicious. Everything is 100% drool worthy & taste so fresh! The service was also great. I have been there many times ao i would recommend the Spicy Tuna Tartare, Short Rib (Robata Grill), Gyoza, all of sushi and happy hour menu.

This is a favorite with our friends and family, for bday dinner celebrations or just get together. Fun and calming ambience, all their dishes are delicious with a great presentation. They offer plenty dishes for vegan and vegetarian as well. Recommend their fried rice, quite different from other places I have visited

Very good food and service. Went here for a friend's birthday dinner party. Never been here before so we ordered a bunch of stuff to try out. Pretty much everything was good. Very nice atmosphere and the service was great. My favorite is the long island roll. Planning on coming back to try out more things.

The service here was excellent, the server was very friendly and accommodating. It was a group of us sharing 2 of the large boat with various sushi rolls. Very fun and engaging dinner. They also have TVs with your your typical ESPN playing. I'm not much of a sushi eater, but the tempura roll was everything! I let the table have the rest and kept that roll for myself. Will definitely go again the next time I'm in town. Also, parking is challenging, so be prepared.

Great service, delicious food, and aesthetically pleasing! I highly recommend The Sexy Lady roll, spicy edamame, lychee-tini, and the spicy tuna pizza. Always a pleasant experience - today especially was very special, waitress went out of her way to make a special birthday.

Good food and good service, you can't go wrong! They have a great happy hour menu from 3-6pm. I recommend the Asian Pear Martini or the Lychee Martini. The service was quick, and our waiter was attentive. Most importantly, the sushi was fresh and tasty, as though the fish were caught that morning!

Awesome sushi! I am very picky with sushi and had 2 rolls, the spicy edamame, and some of my friend's volcano rice. So much flavor and well presented sushi! It also was my birthday and they gave me a wonderful dessert that was fried banana with ice cream and it was delicious! Our waitress was super sweet too!

Our server Bobo was amazing! She was also the one that made our drinks and they were perfect. The food was amazing,everything we tried was on point.

Went w my dad and brother and had a really good experience. One waitress was very attentive and heard my dad say that his drink was a little sour and brought over a better one very swiftly. The spicy tuna and California rolls I had were really good and I loved the wasabi, very good quality. Next time I’m in FL I’d for sure go again.

The food was amazing!! The service 5 stars!! We ordered the boat for 3 persons and it could feed 4 adults! Best sushi I have ever eaten!! We had hot Sake, Miso soup and the fried bananas.

This place has authentic Japanese Cuisine dishes. Warm appetizers were incredibly delicious. We also ordered three different signature rolls. Service was challenged by very high volume of customers but the servers kept the positive attitude and served us in a timely manner. Warm sake was great next to sushi. I would definitely come back here any time I am in driving distance to here. This restaurant would be voted 5-Stars among the New York City restaurants. Highest recommendations. Do not miss the opportunity visit Yakitori when you come to Boca Ratón or Deerfield Beach.

I’m here almost everyday because this place is unmatched in service and quality, don’t make a mistake, give this place a chance, everything they have is fantastic and flawless. Faizal is the best employee I’ve ever seen, he’s compassionate, empathetic, and perfect .

Top sushi restaurant in Boca. The food is delicious and the manager and servers are delightful. Prices are very reasonable for the quality provided. We have enjoyed dining here once a week for years!

We came here on 11/21 and it was amazing. Food was fresh, hot and delicious! The restaurant was very clean and well kept, and the service was great!!! We got there for the lunch special (from 11-3 p.m.) and got the bento boxes. So much food for the $$. So worth it! I highly recommend!!

Price and quality are unbeatable around the area. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. I come here frequently with my girlfriend and we love it especially as students at FAU on a budget.

I’ve been here multiple times and it’s consistently fantastic. The yakitori is always fresh and flavorful, the atmosphere is great, and the service is on point. Faizal is always my server he is THE BEST very attentive and caring as I am highly allergic to sesame and shellfish. Easily one of the best dining experiences in Boca Raton.

Very good service! Had the Deep Eddy Grapefruit Martini, excellent. Spring Rolls are good a little greasy. Then Chicken Wraps delicious. Shusi was excellent. The Chicken Teriyaki sauce thankfully on the side, too gravy like, chicken a veggies perfect!

Stopped here with a friend for Happy Hour. Great Mango Mojito and a nice selection of food. Excellent prices on Sushi Rolls and a must try is the Red Dragon Roll - salmon, avocado, mango topped with shrimp and spicy tuna. Service was good and the atmosphere is nice.

Good food and decent service. Overall, we would visit again. I think the beef Mongolian was good, but I had to add extra spice to it.

I ordered through Uber Eats for the first time and the food was delivered in a timely manner as quoted, it was fresh and delicious, however the garden salad was small for $7.70…it literally fit in the palm of my hand. I have been to the restaurant several times, but never ordered the salad. I will go back and hopefully the salad is a bit more ample when dining in. I would definitely recommend.

The food here is always great, especially the lobster rolls. 🤌🏾🤌🏾 The libations; however, are not very good. Every time I dine here, I try a different cocktail and they've all been bad. Service (the staff) has always been good as well, and contributes to the reason why I'll continue to patronize this establishment. My last visit was a quick dining with a couple friends for a belated birthday lunch for me. The baked ice cream (my birthday cake) was so delicious 😋

The lobster wonton soup ($11.00) was hardly a cup!!! Didn’t even fill the small to go container. The spring rolls and lobster bomb were very good.

UPDATE: Thank you for the response Tina. May we ask what was done with the uni we saw being sneakily passed through your double doors? And then grabbed by the sushi chef and put back on the counter? Because we definitely saw that happen. Please explain what occured so we can put our minds at ease that other food we eat there aren't touched by someone else's chopsticks or the server's hands. Thank you! REUSE food already served! Read on for details. This place gets two stars because the sushi and food are actually quite delicious. The presentation was also beautiful. The service, however, was appalling. What's crazy is we were the only people in the restaurant at the time. Before we left, 2 people were seated, but other than that the restaurant was empty. I came with a girlfriend and her son and I'd say we ordered quite a lot of food for 2.5 people. We even ordered their fancy stuff like foie gras, uni, and truffle and yet it was as if nobody worked there. They hide on the other side of the restaurant and you have to make an extra effort to flag them down if and when you need something. We were super upset and peeved with one order in particular. We ordered 2 orders of uni sashimi, one with a quail egg and ikura and the other plain. The waitress somehow put both in with the quail egg and ikura and when we pointed this out, she brought it back to the sushi chef to tell him to fix it. We were seated in the opposite corner from where he was but still heard him say, "but why, I already made it" and then looked at us with a stink eye (same chef pictured in one of the photos). Me being the person that I am, casually turned to him and said it wasn't us who ordered it wrong, it was your server who put it down wrong. No response. The server (also in one of the photos at another table) didn't even apologize or admit fault so we had an awkward lunch. The least she could have done was tell the sushi chef she put it down wrong so that the chef didn't treat us bad thinking we were being obnoxious. Unfortunately, she brought back the same original uni we had with the quail egg scraped off the top, but the ikura was still under the uni. Mind you, my friend does not eat raw egg or ikura so she still could not eat the uni. I can't imagine what would have happened had she been allergic to it. I brought this up to the manager and she sent a new piece of uni over. Shortly after the server came by to pick up the original uni. She asked me to pick it up and put it on a plate for her. I told her she could do it and she lifted it up with her bare hands then snuck into the kitchen to secretly pass the uni over to the sushi chef through the set of doors connecting the kitchen to the sushi area. The chef took it from her and I could see him put it back on the sushi counter. This was quite gross as in order for me to see if it was the original piece of uni with the quail egg on it, I pushed the uni aside with my chopsticks to check and it definitely was as the ikura was still underneath it (you can see the picture of the uni pushed aside). This poses the question, what other food items do they "recycle" in this restaurant? Meanwhile, we finished the rest of our meal and got the check. Still charged for the extra quail egg and and ikura we did not order. Go figure. The waitress was still left a 20% tip although she did not deserve it. Quite sad because we love sushi and this would have been a spot we would have frequented because of the flavor profile.

Very long waiting time. Staff didn’t seem to care much or explain what was going on. Everything moves extremely slowly. Food is okay, but the wait really ruins the experience. Slightly negative mainly because of the waiting time and lack of attention.

Ordered Vegetable Pad Thai with Shrimp last night as an Uber delivery. Disappointed with over cooked broccoli, noodles too sticky and wide. Not sure I got the right noodles for this dish as take out. I've had same meal as dine-in and sooooo much better. Won't get it as take out again

Very disappointed. The restaurant made the Uber driver wait over 30 minutes. This is extremely disrespectful to delivery drivers and shows poor management. Drivers’ time matters, and this kind of delay is unacceptable.

I ordered through Uber Eats and the restaurant took over 30 minutes to deliver the order. The delivery driver was very late, and the order arrived very late because of the restaurant. This has happened twice now.

My boyfriend and I went there with reservations for two on a Friday night and the male manager disrespected us. We have been dining at this restaurant for a very long time. There were two four tops open and he refused to seat us at either and said this is a Friday night you are only two people. Meanwhile we were standing and waiting for almost 30 minutes and those tables were empty and we weren’t seated. Yet he seated people he knew without reservations outside immediately. We finally walked out because he did not want to seat us. We were dressed nicely. He did not want us there because we knew the prior manager. How crazy is that? My message here is to the owner Nancy Wang are you aware of this type of behavior? Do you think this encourages people to want to continue coming to your establishments? I too am a businesswoman and this is unacceptable behavior and duly unprofessional!!!! Please curb your dog or send him to the kennel

We've been going for years, but during our most recent visit they served me RAW chicken and refused any sort of compensation. We were alarmed. The manager was very hostile. Will not be returning.

Went to pick up an order, asked different staff about 5 times to check on it. After almost 30 Minutes they finally came back to say they put it in the wrong bag. Dumb as hell, if you make A mistake you should e corrected it one Of the first 4 times I asked
