The clam chowder is definitely a must, service took some time but I was told this wait is nothing compared to the weekends. The clam chowder is definitely the reason why. The restaurant is a nice cozy place if you can find parking.

Excellent food! We had the garlic grilled oysters, I could have eaten a second order! We also split Halibut Fish and Chips, and a Lobster Roll. Everything was delicious. Maybe the best French Fries I've ever had! It isn’t inexpensive, but no place is in Bodega Bay. Add one beer and one soda, our total with 20% tip was $121.00. Before that scares you off, consider that the day before at Sea Flower Cafe we had a breakfast burrito, and Sandwich, 2 mocha that came to $53.00. I'd much rather have the oysters, Halibut and lobster at Fisherman's Cove!

Fisherman’s Cove in Bodega Bay is a must-visit for a casual, delicious seafood stop. The clam chowder was rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. What really took it over the top was the garlic bread served alongside it: warm, crispy, and packed with flavor. It was the perfect pairing. Service was impressively fast, even with a steady crowd, and there was plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy a comforting meal without the wait or fuss.

I come to Bodega Bay many times. But this is my first time trying Fisherman’s Cove. I ordered the grilled oyster and clam chowder. Both are very yummy. Especially the oysters. They're so fresh and tasty. I love it! They have a long line due to the holiday. The parking lot in front of the restaurant is full. Few more street parking spaces are available too. But still not enough. I have a parking space with a short wait. The grilled oysters are ready about 20 minutes after they are ordered. I have no problem waiting for them because the food is so good!

The best oysters and fish n chips! Such fresh oysters, one of the best oysters I’ve ever had. We also got the clam chowder and tacos. They do have limited seats but their staff is pretty quick at cleaning the tables for the next customers.

It’s a popular place during lunchtime. The line is long. We ordered the halibut taco, cod taco and prawn & chips. The fish tacos are better than the prawn. We also wanted to try the grilled oysters, but the server said it will take 45 minutes. Apparently the grilled oysters are the customers favorite. We sat outside with our dog. It’s a family and dog friendly place.

Took a drive to Bodega Bay and stopped to try the local fare. I sampled the clam chowder, Portuguese fish stew and the crab sandwich. My wife had the fried oysters. I enjoyed the chowder and the stew but I have to add that the crab sandwich though pricey was an excellent sandwich. The sandwich was loaded with fresh crab meat. This was my favorite. I tasted the fried oysters and I didn’t particularly like the batter which looked like a tempura style batter. Overall this was a great experience and definitely worth a second visit.

We had a crab sandwich and pulled pork tacos. Very flavorful, but not super cheap. It offers counter ordering with the food being delivered to you at a very basic table layout, which is expected at a place like this. If you're looking for that little basic coastal place that does deep-fried seafood, and other non-fried seafood options, as well as a few pork offerings, then this place may interest you.

This was such a good lunch that I enjoyed with my friend. Tri Tip sandwich , fried avocado and fish n chips. Yum!! I was happy that the turnaround time is fairly quick and if you get there early enough around 11:30 you can get a table inside or be prepared for some wind as it's right across from the harbor you will need a good jacket. Food with so tasty it's just a great place to enjoy lunch but parking can be an issue if they are really busy.

Worth every penny. We love coming to Fisherman’s Cove for our oyster fix. Their raw oysters are always fresh and never disappoint. Getting a dozen ($36 for 12, $19 for 6) is a must for us every visit. If raw isn’t your thing, they also offer grilled oysters ($21 for 6) with a few flavor options. We don’t usually order them, but when we do, the chorizo butter grilled oyster is our top pick. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but it’s seafood, what do you expect? The quality backs up the price every time. If oysters aren’t your thing, don’t worry. Their menu is stacked with sandwiches, fried seafood, chowders, and stews. This time around we got the calamari and chips, and it was so good. Honestly, I haven’t been disappointed by anything I’ve ordered here. The staff is always friendly and unfazed, even when the place gets busy, which it usually does. The only thing to keep in mind is the crowd. The line can get long fast, and although they have a small lot, parking fills up quickly. Street parking is limited, so getting there early is the way to go. Still, the quality of food and welcoming vibe keeps us coming back. Highly recommend! Fisherman’s Cove is a gem.

looking over the spud point marina nice outdoor seating. Their lobster roll was really good. a lot of buttery lobster and a soft roll without too much mayo. the calamari was fried in clean oil and the fries were great and crispy. I recommend ordering a side of fries with the lobster roll, but the calamari was a perfect portion.

This restaurant is very dishonest. They charge a hidden 4% credit card surcharge which is illegal in California. On the menu, the crab sandwich was listed at $28, but we were charged $29.11. The $17 shrimp po’ boy was charged at $17.67, the $22 grilled oysters at $22.87, and a $10 beer at $10.40. When we asked, the server said the difference was a credit card fee. The restaurant did not disclose a 4% surcharge before the transaction and did not display it anywhere in the restaurant. Credit card surcharge is prohibited in California as of July 1, 2024 under the “Hidden Fees” law. It bans businesses from advertising a lower price and then adding mandatory fees later. Any required surcharge must be clearly included in the listed price, not tacked on at checkout. I suspect many customers do not catch this because they do not scrutinize their receipts. This is unfair to restaurants that price transparently. I urge customers to avoid this place or report this practice to consumer protection agencies.
