Se cercate una tipica e accogliente trattoria bolognese ve la consiglio, la signora è stata gentilissima sia nella comunicazione della prenotazione sia durante il pranzo. Viviamo a Milano e amiamo visitare Bologna e credo proprio che questa trattoria avrà spesso la nostra visita. Abbiamo anche trovato prezzi modici e ottima qualità! Grazie e a presto!

Lovely atmosphere & friendly service . Food simple but traditional. Close to but slightly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas which added to the relaxed feel. I didn’t find this in any top 10 list but was looking for a nice restaurant close to our hotel on the first night. The 4.6 score on Google was well justified.

Absolutely amazing. Easily one of the most flavourful meals of our week in Italy. The tortelloni looked so simple but the flavour was incredible. Lasagna Verde was rich with flavour. I ate so slowly not wanting the meal to end. The strawberry marscapone was a delightful finish. Host staff was very sweet.

Visited Bologna for two weeks and traveled to many cities. We ate here our first week and kept coming back. Three times, to be exact! The atmosphere is intimate and cozy and they make you feel comfortable and at home. The food is consistently excellent and the staff is just wonderful. Friday lunch without previous reservation went great. All food we had was delicious, especially the pasta. Service was really quick, everything came up to 5 min from placing the order. We liked the freshly grated parmesan cheese served to the main course. Prices were fair. The interior was cozy, with old photos on the wall made the overall vibe very pleasant. The restaurant is suitable for all types of occassions, both business and private. We enjoyed our visit and will gladly come again. Recommended.

If I could give this Trattoria more than 5 stars I would. The food was incredible with great service. We had tagliatelle al ragú, lasagna Verdi and tortelloni with butter and sage. For dessert crème caramel. One of the best meals I have ever had. The restaurant seats less than 50 people so plan on making a booking.

Tucked away in a quiet alley, this charming little restaurant was the perfect spot for an authentic Bolognese meal. Reservations are a must, as the space is small but full of character. The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. We ordered all the traditional dishes—Bolognese, tortellini in broth, and cotoletta—and everything was outstanding. The house wine was the perfect pairing. A must-visit for anyone wanting a true taste of Bologna!

It only took a bite to fall in love. We stopped there for lunch, and despite the fact that we didn’t have a reservation – which is recommended – they managed to accommodate us anyway and WHOA-Nelly it was awesome. I ordered the chicken cacciatore and it was perfectly done and sumptuous. My wife ordered the lasagna, which looked odd, since it was green pasta, but it was the best tasting lasagna this Italian has ever had. The house wines are also very good, but the house sparkling white is unreal. So good, in fact, that when we returned for dinner that same night, (yes it was THAT good) we bought two bottle to take back to our room. It was one of the best purchases I made in Italy. In case you’re wondering, for dinner (we made reservations after lunch) we switched orders. I had the lasagna and my wife had the chicken. It was all amazing yet again. We also enjoyed the homey décor and very friendly staff. I heartily recommend it!

Trattoria Valerio is located in a quiet street away from more touristy areas in the old town. We arrived without a reservation 15 minutes before they opened and they welcomed us in anyway. We have a baby and they quickly helped us get in with the stroller and provided us with a baby seat. Staff and presumably the owner lady was very kind and friendly. We ordered lasagna, some local wine and mascarpone desert. Everything was very tasty, and didn’t take more than a few minutes to arrive. It was a bit pricy, but totally worth it. I would definitely recommend this nice trattoria with traditional decor and great honest food.

By far the best trattoria I have ever visited in Bologna, great local food, excellent service, typical Bolognese dishes of the highest quality. It is always my first choice for any occasion and is highly recommended if you are visiting Bologna, just do not forget to make a reservation. Amazing little find. We stopped off in Bologna on our way to Milan and wanted to have lunch in an authentic little restaurant. Found this place from google reviews and what a find it was! We didn’t have a reservation but turned up just before doors opened, there was space for us but there were also a lot of booked tables too! The waitress was lovely, she was manning the entire restaurant floor herself. We had the tagliatelle ragu and pork, both were so delicious. And the house red wine was lovely too. Would highly recommend and would return too!

A special meal. In town for two nights and the locals sent us here as a mandatory stop. W0W. One of the best meals I've ever had. We managed to snag a reservation right at opening and sat inside. It's old and historic, but seems well maintained and clean. Friendly and helpful staff were accomodating to my limited Italian. Food was extremely well done - simple yet delicious. We over ordered but finished everything. I strongly recommend each item: -apps: shaved zucchini and cheese with honey. I wouldn't think about sliced raw zucchini as a good starter, but this worked. - mains: lasagne, pasta with meat sauce, sausage pasta, and the ravioli with sage and butter. Lasagne was perfect. The bolognese meat sauce was a little drier than I'd expect, but only because im a stupid American. We inhaled everything and rolled out the door happy and a bit too full. Do not miss this place if you come to Bologna 👌

Ottima trattoria Bolognese . Abbiamo provato i tortellini in brodo (ottimi ma il brodo era poco incisivo..) lasagne verdi , molto buone ma non tra le più buone a nostro palato. Locale accogliente, tipico e caldo. I pochi tavoli aiutano a rilassarsi e godersi il pranzo. Ottimo posto per un incontro a 2, ottimi i prezzi dei secondi molto al di sotto della media bolognese. Porzioni abbondanti, buoni i sapori, peccato per alcuni dettagli come il parmigiano in bustina senza neanche i mesi di stagionatura riportati. Buona gramigna da cui però escluderei l aggiunta del peperoncino e il prezzemolo. Cotoletta alla bolognese apprezzabile, arrosto di vitello morbido e saporito, lasagna un po bassa e light ma anche lei di buon gusto. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo dei secondi.

La trattoria bolognese di altri tempi. Legno, bottiglie esposte, sedie di paglia. Prezzi sotto la media e piatti casalinghi per una qualità di cibo piuttosto elevata. Buono, non oltre, il tagliere misto. Buono il tortellino in brodo (brodo superlativo, tortellino un pochino grezzo: tanta pasta e poco ripieno). Peccato il pollo alla cacciatora: semplicemente bollito bel sugo. Niente rosolatura, niente aromi (alloro , timo), niente sugo ben cotto, niente battuto. Buone materie prime, ma resa da ospedale. Buono crem caramel. Perché il vino doc te lo portano a tavola come n la bottiglia decapsulata e col cavatappi già inserito? Sembra che sia una bottiglia vuota riempita col vino della casa… Peccato. Con quei prezzi è quella qualità dei prodotti potrebbero avere il massimo dei voti.

Ho pranzato qui qualche giorno fa con la mia compagna. Ambiente piccolo e confortevole. Personale gentile. Ho preso una lasagna, poco condita, non mi è piaciuta, carne quasi assente. Lei ha preso i tortellini in brodo, si sentiva troppo la noce moscata. Poi un piatto di affettati che abbiamo diviso, per 12 euro un piatto normale e sapori che trovo al supermercato. Spendi meno che in altri posti, ma non ho mangiato bene.

Purtroppo avevo tante aspettative ma sono rimasta molto delusa. Preciso che sono bolognese e mi aspettavo piatti come mangiavo dalla mia nonna e mamma, invece non ho ritrovato nulla di tutto ciò sia nella preparazione che nelle cotture e di conseguenza sapori molto lontani dalla nostra cucina bolognese. Non si propongono piatti se non si conoscono le origini e le preparazioni, anche perché certi piatti tipici se non eseguiti come si deve, il risultato è pessimo. Sono molto dispiaciuta perché il locale è molto accogliente e carino.

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo pranzato sabato in questa trattoria tipicamente bolognese. Ambiente piccolo, ma gradevole e accogliente. I tavoli sono posizionati in un'unica sala. Molti i quadri e le foto d'epoca alle pareti, oltre a numerose bottiglie posizionate su una scansia, bellissime da vedere, ma che andrebbero spolverate. Tavola arredata con cura e doppia tovaglia, tra cui una con disegni della tradizione romagnola in tinta beige. Abbiamo preso due calici di un buon Sangiovese, una porzione di lasagne verdi, a sette strati e abbastanza condite e una porzione di tortellini in brodo. Il brodo era molto leggero e poco deciso, mentre nei tortellini prevaleva l'aroma di noce moscata e il parmigiano, ma non si sentiva la carne. Abbiamo poi preso un tagliere di salumi da dividere, che abbiamo accompagnato con il cestino di pane che ci avevano portato, costituito da sfoglie sfiziose e pane con molta mollica. Il tagliere era composto da due fette di mortadella, quattro di prosciutto crudo, 5 di salame e due di lardo. Senza infamia e senza lode. Insieme al coperto è all'acqua frizzante abbiamo speso €50. Se desiderate i piatti della tradizione bolognese qui ne troverete diversi, con una discreto rapporto qualità prezzo, ma per quanto mi riguarda non sono rimasta soddisfatta per la qualità e non penso di tornarci. Nulla di memorabile. Personale gentile e servizio rapido, nonostante l'affluenza notevole.

Sono deluso, molto, moltissimo, sono arrivato pieno di aspettative positive e me ne vado con la consapevolezza che di Bologna qui non c'è niente. Porzioni adatte ad un bambino e non ad un adulto, la vera tagliatella alla bolognese non si trova qui anche perché dopo un paio di bocconi e già finita....ridicoli!
