I love this place! Been coming here for years! The staff is always lovely, my favorites are the pad see ew, yellow curry, tom kha soup and the mango sticky rice are my go to's highly recommend! Give this place a try!

One of my favorite thai restaurants that my family and I have been going to for years. The food is excellent (the thai spicy noodle and salmon curry is a favorite for us), the staff is so kind, and it has such a homey atmosphere. Will forever be going here and coming back :)

I’ve tried several of their dishes before, but on this occasion, I went with the Pad Thai. It was perfectly balanced — not too sweet, with just the right hint of tamarind. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. My server Haida offered great lunch special recommendations and made sure our spice levels were just right. Whether you’re a Thai food regular or a first-timer, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

We had papaya salad (som tum), spicy noodles with chicken and Thai fried rice with chicken. The papaya salad was the star, with a perfect balance of spice, sweetness and freshness. The spicy noodles were wonderful, while the fried rice, while still tasty, was not as flavorful as we had hoped. The staff were so friendly and prompt! Next time we come I’ll try the green curry.

Our first time here. And wow, what a delightful treat! We entered the restaurant right before it got really busy. So the vibe was relaxing and a good atmosphere. The music was softly playing in the background with songs I could somewhat sing along to. Definitely a family restaurant. The food was oh my goodness, so 😋 delicious. Wow, I told the waitress, can you thank the chef?? It was so on 👉point! 👈 We ordered Tom Kha. Outrageously delicious, and it had substance. Meaning they didn't hold back with ingredients. Sometimes restaurants give u so much broth and little food in it. Not here. I was surprised by the portions. We ordered the large. We also ordered Crispy Duck. It had no gamey taste to it. It was cooked to perfection. So good. So Outrageously delicious!!! You have to try it!! We made room for dessert. Mango Sticky Rice. Wow. This was served to perfection. Hot! So good. I give this place a 10 for food and atmosphere. I know I will be back with my entire family. Hoping you give this place a thumbs.👍

The service is very kind and patient, the music was crazy haha but the mood is nice.

My favorite thai place in san Diego. I always order the chicken pho and it's a bit different but delicious! 9 bucks is pretty reasonable! They also have great service and it's pretty full on the weekends, for good reason!!

Restaurant is very small, 4 tables inside, mostly Togo orders. Order at the counter and it was brought to the table. Crane cream puffs were real crab and pretty good. Papaya salad was supposed to be medium hot, and had me teary eyes from the first bit. It was fresh and good but more spicy than I expected. Phad Thai was supposed to be the same hotness but was much more mild and more sweet than tangy.

The food was really good, I had my girlfriend try the Yellow Curry and she ate all my food :| the lady taking our order, possibly the owner (Hello owner 👋) she was a little rude, just a tad 🤏🏼 while taking our order but they really made sure we were going okay at our table, refilling our waters frequently. The atmosphere reminded me of grandmas house but that’s a good thing! A very homey feel makes it a cozy place to eat “homemade food”

Not so great welcoming but props for the cook.

Pad Thai was ok, a little on the sweeter side for their food. Seafood in Tom yum/chicken a little overcooked and chewy. Good enough in the Bonita area. Nice service, fast, but starters came out last, since they are just pushing dishes out fast. Papaya Salad was lacking a little, flavor of the food overall kind of comes out one-toned, there aren’t any subtleties you might find at other Thai places

The food tasted great which should have been my first clue that regular sauce was used. It wasn't gluten free like I was told it would be and I had a painful evening. If you don't have any allergies, this place is likely a good place to order take away. You'll have less interaction with the rude hostess if you just grab your food and go. The dish I got was inexpensive and a large portion, at least 3 meals worth. There was a nice young man there that tried his best to rectify the situation he even mentioned the food *may* be gluten free (after he said it could be done) but he couldn't promise that.

I got here at 8:15pm Wednesday and when I walk in the place I was told it was already closing down that I couldn’t eat here if I wanted food I could order to go but no dine in. I asked and they close at 9pm but you can’t dine in and nowhere does it say that.

STAY AWAY from this place I really wanted to give it a try since I saw it had some good reviews, however I found a bug on my fried rice. When I confronted the son and owner they were really rude and brushed me off. Definitely not coming back and letting all my friends and fam know!

I was willing to look the other way the first two times. But a third time ?? And every time this happens it’s something new. First a hair, then an unknown paper product. Which I won’t lie, I thought this was a new take on the age old fortune cookie. But with won tons… now it’s a wadded up piece of plastic. Long story short I changed my review from four stars to one. Unless you like surprise non edible treasures in your food, I would pick another Thai restaurant. Love this place. They are very efficient and food is ready within and usually under thirty minutes. The yellow curry is our go to. As well as the cream cheese wontons. My only Qualm is that I have found hair in our curry order as well as paper of some kind inside our wontons on two separate occasions. I know mistakes happen so it isn’t the biggest deal but this is the reason for four stars rather than five.

Food was kinda good and a reasonable price. In other reviews people were saying how the waitstaff treats them like family. To whoever left that review I’m sorry that your family treats you so poorly. The hostess lady was extraordinarily rude and likely makes her family miserable. That’s assuming her family hasn’t left her yet. We have a shortage of therapists in this country because of people like this lady. If you would like to support your local therapist please keep this place in business.

I am so sad. To be writing this. The food is great, I order thru DoorDash all the time. I just had a horrible experience over the phone. DoorDash doesn’t allow you to add comments and instead has a note saying to contact the business or special modification. I am lactose intolerant, so I asked if hey had any dairy free options for their Thai boba (many places don’t offer but I like to ask) she immediately Yelled NO, and I kindly asked if they could fill it up half way so I can add my own milk at home. (Ps ik that I’m asking for a big modification but hey, you’d be making full price on half of the drink, saving product) but anyway she proceeds to tell me to *stop complaining* and if I had complaints to contact DoorDash because that has nothing to do with them. (I have a business on DoorDash and the owners when creating a business DoorDash approve modifications it’s as simple as clicking something in your settings to allow comments). I again kindly said I’m sorry I’m not trying to be a hassle I just wanted to call to modify my order. She proceeded to yell thru the phone that she’s too busy and that I should figure it out because other people do! Saying she’s tired of people calling!!!!! Sighing and yelling throughout the entire phone call. I’m very sad, I don’t ever leave reviews on restaurants. But this is important for their management to see and if the owner was the one on the phone that is extremely disrespectful and disappointing. I understand rush hours and being busy, as a business and especially in times like these it is a privilege. Customers shouldn’t have to deal with interactions like this especially when they’re being kind. Having rush hours and being busy is such a blessing, it comes and goes. I hope they take a moment to reflect on this and change their perspective.

Never ended up staying. We were a party of 4. We walked in and was not even acknowledged. When we finally were the waitress was so incredibly rude. I was taken back at the way she spoke to us. As I also noticed other people couldn’t believe the way she treated us.When we sat down I noticed that other people were just waiting to have their order taken. We decided to get up and leave. Won’t be coming back here. And they need to fire the rude waitress they have working there.

The seafood and the meat in the Pad Woo Sen combo was rubbery and could not be chewed. I ordered it to be delivered otherwise I would have sent it back. The flavor of the vegetables was very good so maybe the vegetarian option would be a better choice.

This is my second review ever writing because i’m not a very picky eater but let me warn you. I got boba from here and there was a roach inside of it no joke please stay away!

Simply dissapointing. To start with, as soon as I walked in I was confronted by an unfriendly middle aged lady who seemed stressed and overwhelmed. Finally I was pointed rudley to sit at a table, then she turns and shouts at a guy who was standing by the register to leave the restaurant. This, in front of a packed little restaurant. 10 minutes goes by and finally she comes to take my order, which was shrimp fresh roll and eggplant with beef entre. The roll was 95% vegetables and little shrimp and a bit hard. The eggplant dish came next, beef was chewey and had to be discarded into a napkin. The eggplants were dripping with oil, no taste whatsoever. My plate was almost full when I asked for my check, and answered no to her to go box offer. This place shouldn't call itself Thai food, it's a disrespect to a great nation with delicious cuisine and friendly culture.

However, a few minutes had passed and no response + I start to hear the person I told my order to sing along to the music of the restaurant as I was on hold. I try to get the notice of this person by saying "hello" or "excuse me" to no avail. I ended up hanging up and calling the store ~4 times to just ensure that I'd be able to get the price information, but no response. I end up going to the the store to pick up my order, and my mom ended up just mentioning the situation above. She ended up replying that she "tried" to get a response from me, but heard nothing (untrue, I was on the line for quite a few minutes + heard the talking + singing + I tried to call back multiple times nor did they try to contact me as they had my number). I stated these points (except the calling back as I was not thinking much at this time), and she aggressively said that if that was the case, she "apologizes." She was very cold in her response and it genuinely felt like she was defensive over this, however this could have been a simple mistake that would've been brushed over with a kind "I'm sorry." I don't like the disrespect she had for me nor my mom and I do not plan to come here again.
