L’albergo è come una volta, si sente l'ospitalità. Il posto è accogliente e piacevole, piccola spa ma con tutto il necessario. Come designer di interni, ho apprezzato tutti i dettagli dell’arredo e del rivestimento. Grazie.

Davvero uno chic hotel, molto accogliente, interni realizzati in perfetto stile da montagna impreziosito da rivestimenti in caldo legno ovunque. Ristorante curato negli ambienti e nelle decorazioni, portate generose, molto buone e ben impiattate, bravo Chef! Personale di sala molto gentile e attento. SPA 🔝, unico neo manca l’idromassaggio. Camere con spazi ben sfruttati e arredati; un po’ piccole ma funzionali. Colazione veramente ricca, da rivedere l’orario d’inizio: non si può fare colazione alle 08.00 anche se a richiesta di può iniziare prima. Che dire della reception e della splendida proprietaria dell’hotel: gentilezza, disponibilità e cortesia sempre! A qualsiasi ora della giornata. OTTIMO!

Accoglienza autentica e organizzazione impeccabile. Ho soggiornato presso l’Hotel La Genzianella di Bormio durante un evento sportivo e l’esperienza è stata davvero eccellente. La struttura è a conduzione familiare e si percepisce immediatamente: proprietari e staff sono sempre presenti, cordiali e autenticamente attenti all’ospite, con una professionalità rara ma mai formale. La cucina merita una menzione speciale: qualità delle materie prime, piatti curati e varietà impeccabile ogni giorno. Si mangia davvero molto bene. La posizione è ideale e la gestione degli ospiti – anche in periodi di grande affluenza – è sempre fluida e organizzata. Tornerò sicuramente.

Siamo stati ospiti di questo hotel a fine Gennaio e, appena entrati, siamo stati avvolti da un atmosfera calda e familiare. Tutto lo staff è stato gentilissimo sin da subito, venendoci incontro per la spa che l'abbiamo usufruita nel giorno del check out. Camere in legno di cirmolosuper accoglienti (la nostra aveva un balcone che affacciava sulla pista Stelvio). Ristorante annesso all' hotel consigliatissimo, con una buona scelta di pietanze e antipasti e dolci a buffet. Colazione ricca e varia con prodotti freschi o di loro produzione. Spa non troppo grande ma completa di tutto quello che ci si aspetta da una spa (sauna, bagno turco e tinozze d'acqua calda). Super consigliato.

Design spettacolare, dalle camere agli ambienti comuni fino alla spa, personale gentilissimo e ristorante di altissimo livello. Forse l’albergo più bello in cui sia mai stata nella mia vita! Ci tornerei senza dubbio. Assolutamente consigliato

Uno dei migliori hotel in cui sia mai stato. E non per la bellezza delle camere, per la colazione eccezionale, per la cucina di livello altissimo, ma per la cortesia è gentilezza dello staff, sempre sorridente e bendisposto. Spero di poterci tornare in futuro.

La recensione si basa solo sul ristorante e dal poco che ho potuto vedere cenando qui una sera. L'hotel sembra esteticamente molto bello e molto curato, il personale di sala è estremamente cordiale e disponibile, anche la cena è stata piacevole, prezzi nella media di Bormio. Pizzoccheri non eccezionali ma buoni. Raggiungibile tranquillamente a piedi da centro di Bormio.

Hotel a dir poco meraviglioso! Accoglienza veramente unica, il personale davvero molto gentile, disponibile e sorridente. Struttura arredata molto bene con zone comuni e ristorante veramente molto belli! Le camere non sono enormi ma funzionali e arredate con gusto e tipiche. La cosa che mi ha sorpreso di più oltre alla disponibilità e gentilezza del personale, è il cibo. Colazione ricchissima con prodotti genuini e freschi. Sono celiaca e non mi sono trovata per niente in difficoltà, anzi. Sempre pane fresco, grissini, taralli ecc a disposizione. Abbiamo cenato al ristorante e anche lì cibo fantastico e sempre disponibili a preparami qualcosa senza glutine. Ritornerò molto presto. Grazie

È stata una bellissima esperienza... Tutti cordiali e professionali, tutto pulito e accogliente... Pasti vari, abbondanti e curati. Location moderna e allo stesso tempo rispettosa delle tradizioni, calda e molto accogliente.

What a wonderful place and stay. Visited with 11 friends for a cycling holiday. The hotel is great - amazing & attentative service, wonderful food, great amenities of dining area, bar / lounge, fully equipped bike room and very spacious well thought out spa facility. This charming alpine style hotel is located close to all access points for town, restaurants, shopping and bike routes (Stelvio, Mortirolo, Gavia, etc). And as for the family that runs the place, I can’t say enough! Don’t miss out the chance to experience

A group of 12 of us stayed at La Genzianella for 5 nights so that we could do some road cycling. Hands down, this is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel oozes charm but without sacrificing any modern comforts. The main floor lobby and sitting area is expansive with smaller and larger enclaves for groups of all sizes to gather. The rooms were well sized and while the bed was not luxurious I still slept well. The bathroom and particularly the shower were fabulous. The bike room is very tidy with all the tools and bike stands necessary to do one’s own tuneups and the wash station outside was very well equipped with soap, degreaser, and compressed air to blow all the water out. The spa is simply marvellous with a great steam room, sauna, hot tubs and shower set up. There is also a super room for stretching and doing calisthenics; so nice I’m going to try and emulate it at home. Finally all of this is wrapped up with an impeccable family providing leadership and hospitality. Thank you Wilma, Marta and Frederica and all the wonderful staff for all your warmth and graciousness.

What an amazing stay we had at hotel Genzianella! The family and staff running this hotel are professional, caring and made every effort to ensure that we were comfortable and felt welcome. The recently renovated and updated facilities and furnishings are superb. We particularly enjoyed using the wellness centre sauna's and hot tub at the end of each day. The views from our bedroom were magnificent. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and had lots of healthy and delicious options. For dinner, we helped ourselves to a variety of salads, cheese, desserts, bread and fruit, in addition to the 3 course dinner of creative and traditional menu items. I thoroughly recommend you visit this hotel if you are in the area, you will definitely want to return. And... yes we have returned and it's as beautiful as ever. This time we took advantage of the complimentary yoga class and guided hikes and enjoyed both so much. The attention to detail with the hotel environment as well as the hospitality is top class.

We had a spectacular stay at La Genzianella. The hotel in general is amazing and the overall design was incredible with so many nice little touches everywhere. The spa was equally amazing, quiet and serene. We had several spa services during our stay all of which were great as well. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom and incredible shower. Breakfast was very abundant with lots of choices. But the best part was the staff - friendly, accommodating and always with smile. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The value for the price is really outstanding.

We stayed for 4 nights at Hotel La Genzianella in March 2025. The town of Bormio is beautiful and the hotel adds the perfect amount of charm and hospitality. The staff are kind, helpful, and friendly. It is a family-run business that is done with pride and grace. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had a great view of the ski slopes from our beds! Family run Hotel, the service is outstanding, the restaurant is absolutely top in quality and, variety and presentation, location is perfect (in front of the main slope). The rooms are incredibly quiet (impossible to hear anything from the other rooms). The design and architecture is very cosy, you can appreciate that every detail is well thought. The spa is one of the best i have visited: design is beautiful, very spacious, with Sauna, Turkish Bath, hot water baths tubs, and a very large relax area. If you stay in Bormio this hotel is by far the best one to chose.

Stayed here for a cycling trip. My friends and I take a trip like this every year, and this hotel is by far the best we have stayed in. The facilities for cyclists (storage, workshop, cleaning station, laundry service, spa) are fantastic and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Restaurant also great. If I could give it more than five stars I would. Highly recommended!

It was heaven...beautiful people kind and considerate, wonderful food...the meals were incredible highlighting food from the area, as cyclists there were so accommodating with laundry each day for our kits to bike storage. The rooms were warm roomy and a balcony to enjoy the view of the Alps. An added bonus was the sauna/spa retreat especially after bike riding! Thankyou for an unforgettable experience!

Where to start? There are so many good things to say about our stay. Wilma, Marta and all of the staff were welcoming and just wonderful. The lobby is warm and lovely. Beds were comfy, linens were great, and the bathroom was good sized. And we were so close to the ski mountain. Even many restaurants and shops were just a short walk away. Dinner was one of the best we had during our entire trip. And breakfast! So many choices! Fresh fruit, fresh breads, a multitude of muesli, juices, meats, cheeses, and eggs. Our stay was perfection. We can't wait to go back.

We enjoyed our visit in June and will likely return for a longer stay as soon as we can fit it in. Good on all sides from the beds and linens, housekeeping, bar and restaurant and the breakfast is super! Location is perfect for summer or winter, especially for cycling or Alpine World Cup and Winter Games! They say Bike Hotel and are certainly well equipped for bicycles, I hope to bring a motorcycle next time to ride the many passes. Thank you Wilma and Marta and all the staff for a wonderful stay.

Our stay was dreamy. The exterior details and the lobby portrayed care and thoughtfulness to surroundings and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The kind and attentive service was the very best. The breakfast buffet and dinner options were delicious and varied. The amenities for cyclists (kit washing as an example) were terrific and appeared to be equally plush for skiers in the winter. Our room had a breathtaking view of the local ski area and surrounding mountains. Central Bormio was a quick and pretty walk from the hotel. We will be returning and encouraging our friends to do the same.

Oh my goodness this place was so, so great. I was in Italy on a cycling trip with a big group of blokes staying at several places, and this was by far the best experience. The hotel itself is grand in a modest kind of way - lot so timber, great bar and sitting areas, lovely restaurant. The rooms themselves were very comfortable and clean. The cycling storage and facilities were top-notch: secure key-pass access, bike stand and tools, air compressor. Couldn’t imagine what else you’d need to look after your bike. Downstairs was a wellness centre for steam and heat and relaxing. Above all else, the staff were incredibly gracious and giving, nothing seemed to be a bother. Had a wonderful time here.

Hotel molto comodo in Bormio. Le camere carine ma letto matrimoniale non comodo e separato e letto corto. Mancanza di privacy sul balcone. Esperienza inaccettabile – Rifiutati e trattati con sufficienza La nostra esperienza presso il ristorante di questo hotel è stata semplicemente scandalosa. Eravamo in sette, con un piccolo barboncino di meno di 5 kg, abituato a stare nei locali pubblici senza creare alcun disturbo. Al nostro arrivo, ci è stato negato l’accesso sia alla sala da pranzo che **persino alla hall**, dove avevamo proposto di alternarci per accudire il cane senza arrecare fastidio a nessuno. La loro giustificazione? Secondo loro, nel messaggio di conferma della prenotazione era scritto che gli animali non erano ammessi. Peccato che questa informazione fosse nascosta dopo i saluti finali e la firma della famiglia proprietaria, in un punto che nessuno legge, convinto che il messaggio sia già terminato. Quindi non solo una comunicazione fuorviante, ma anche una gestione del cliente decisamente discutibile. A rendere il tutto ancora più assurdo è il fatto che l’hotel non espone alcuna segnaletica di divieto ai cani, né all’ingresso né nelle aree comuni. Senza un’indicazione chiara e visibile, non è accettabile escludere ospiti con animali in modo arbitrario e, soprattutto, senza preavviso adeguato. Il personale si è dimostrato rigido e privo di qualsiasi intento di venire incontro alle nostre esigenze, rifiutando persino la soluzione di farci alternare nella hall. Un atteggiamento incomprensibile e anacronistico, che ha trasformato una serata che doveva essere piacevole in un’esperienza frustrante e umiliante. Un hotel che si definisce accogliente non può trattare così i propri ospiti, né nascondere regole importanti in una postilla scritta in modo ingannevole. Sconsiglio vivamente a chiunque, soprattutto a chi viaggia con animali.
