Maurizio Loreti

A simple place where the food is divine, with a few dishes, but tasty and meticulously prepared (all traditional Piedmontese). You're well-priced and get some truly excellent food. I recommend the vitello tonnato and the ravioli del plin, which I received with the roast meat sauce. The staff are friendly and always smiling, and the chefs are quick. Highly recommended.

The menu is just the way I like it. A few dishes, but carefully prepared. The braised meat is excellent. The selection of local cheeses is amazing. Good wine list. Excellent traditional Piedmontese food, accompanied by thorough explanations and a warm welcome from the staff, and an excellent Piedmontese wine cellar; we chose a sparkling wine from the Alta Langa! The interior is beautiful, with wooden paneling and tables and chairs reminiscent of a traditional inn. The outdoor garden is also convenient for warm summer days.

Definitely a must-see on a visit to Bossolasco. A very welcoming place both day and night. Excellent food and presentation. We ordered several dishes to sample the menu, and each one was a feast of flavors. The service was super friendly and attentive. We'll be back.

Good quality food, not a hugely varied menu (just how I like it). The place is a bit dated and could use some improvement, but it's clean and well-maintained. The wine list could be improved (especially considering the area). I'll definitely be back.

Located on the street, it also has a large outdoor terrace. Excellent hospitality and willingness to welcome us at 9:45 pm without any problems, offering punctual and complete service. Following the enchanting panoramic road from the lavender fields of Sale San Giovanni to Bossolasco, you'll come across Locanda del Camino. The rather unassuming exterior doesn't raise any expectations, but the atmosphere and dishes are astonishing. Authentic local produce, expertly prepared, will leave you wanting to return to these relaxing Piedmontese locales soon. The wine list is extensive, offering excellent Barbera, Nebbiolo, and Barbaresco wines. The hospitality is gracious and friendly. Prices aren't cheap, but they're fair for the quality of the food. Recommended for a pleasant evening.

Sono stata in questa locanda a bossolasco per un compleanno, abbiamo mangiato bene, ma purtroppo c'è stata qualche pecca da parte del personale già dall'inizio... Eravamo in 26 (avevamo prenotare due settimane prima) effettivamente tanti ma non erano ben organizzati hanno sbagliato i tavoli alcuni piatti e il servizio un po' sbadato Tutto sommato il cibo non male, porzioni abbondanti anche se i ravioli al plin con il sugo di arrosto un po' salati e acquosi. Il costo di certi piatti l'ho trovato alticcio soprattutto dei secondi e la cameriera dava occhiatacce... Insomma non era molto contenta.

The food was truly excellent, especially the poached eggs with a mushroom base, the veal with tuna sauce, which I'd say was superbly cooked, and the tortelli, which were truly delicious. The house wine (we chose a Nebbiolo) was truly pleasant. The waiters were very kind and helpful.

Excellent restaurant, quality food beautifully presented, decent portions, very tender cheeks cooked to perfection, and delicious plin. Very friendly and fast staff, so excellent service. We ordered four tasting menus and a bottle of Barbera, the price was average. The place needs some renovations, but we'll give these young people, who have fallen in love with the Langhe, time to do it. The panoramic view is beautiful, and the parking is excellent.

Mi dispiace lasciare un commento non del tutto positivo, anche perché solitamente scrivo solo recensioni favorevoli. Siamo venuti in questa trattoria attratti dalle ottime recensioni lette online, ma purtroppo la nostra esperienza non ha rispecchiato le aspettative. Il menù ci è sembrato piuttosto limitato e, sebbene alcuni piatti fossero buoni, nel complesso non abbiamo provato il piacere che speravamo. Il conto ci è parso un po’ alto rispetto a quanto consumato. Detto questo, vorrei comunque sottolineare alcuni aspetti positivi: il locale è molto pulito, il servizio è cortese e il pane era davvero buono.
