I have had nothing but outstanding experiences at Mastro’s Ocean club. The service is second to none, from the hostesses, the waitstaff, the servers, and General Managers. They go out of their way to ensure you have had an impeccable experience. The food is always perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. They are right on the harbor and they do have seasonal outdoor seating , but even inside you can see the boats sailing by and catch a pretty sunset against the city backdrop. Mastro’s will always be my go to favorite dining spot. I highly recommend it to all.

We went there for the first time for my husband's birthday dinner. Our server, Brandy, was attentive and friendly and made great recommendations. " Brandy went out of her way to ensure that my husband's birthday dinner experience was exceptional." The food here is delicious! We had salmon, which tasted very fresh, with the lobster mash, and the crab cake was the best. And the cake they brought for my husband was mind-blowing. We had a blast there, and the service was top-notch. "  Brandy brought a personal touch to our evening, and we happily departed. " Thank you, Brandy. I hope to see you again soon.

We have traveled to many states and many countries and no restaurant compares to Mastro’s in Boston, specifically due to the over the top service from Yennie and Val. Not only is the food and drinks incredible, but the service is what is really over the top, Yennie and Val make you feel like the most treasured family coming to visit. Only downfall of this restaurant is having to leave when your meal is over. Not only do we love this restaurant we love Yennie and Val! Thank you it was our pleasure celebrating my 51st birthday! We were treated like kings and queens there. Our waitress and her crew took amazing care of us, the food and drinks were spectacular, and the ambiance was exquisite.

We had a good experience here- food was tasty, view was pretty, and the drinks were great. My only very small complaint was that the music was a bit too loud, but other than that, great experience.

Mastro’s Ocean Club made my 50th birthday unforgettable. My wife organized a private dinner for 18 of us, and everything—from the fresh seafood towers to the perfect steaks—was outstanding. The highlight? The incredible service team, led by Brandy, who took care of us at every turn. If you want a special night with amazing food, great views of Boston, and a staff that knows how to make you feel celebrated, ask for Brandy!

We went here to celebrate my birthday. I ordered the 8 oz Wagyu and was not satisfied. It had so much fat! There was fat in each bite, unfortunately. I did not complain to the restaurant, although for a $150 steak, maybe I should have. The rest of the meal was nice, and the service was amazing. Our waitress, Luna, was a delight. We dined outside, and it was lovely. I plan on returning, but I will be trying another steak.

Yenny, Matt, Connor, & Val are the best in Boston! Had a wonderful night celebrating my bday with our friends. Excellent service with great attention to detail with our dinner meals and special requests. We were there for 3 hours but felt like forever because we had such an amazing time. Drinks were so refreshing, spicy marg was 🔥. Bone-in ribeye is my fave. You won’t regret this great spot with ocean views!

First fine dining experience in a while. Service was impeccable and very detailed. From the change of plates, to the utensils to the drinks, everything was meticulously thought out and beautifully executed. Price was a little pricey but the food was melt in the mouth and amazing. The desserts were soo delicious and not very sweet. The oysters were a decent size but for $4 each was it worth it? Maybe for the experience. The pork was the best thing and all sides are extra. Spent $176 without drinks and tip and this was all for a discount doing the dine out Boston week. Still a great deal and I love the vibes of a busy but organized restaurant!!! I would definitely come back!

Really fancy restaurant. The food is exquisite. Do try the seafood tower if you get a chance. For main course the salmon was great ! And sorbet at the desert was amazing.

We were fortunate to obtain a table for 5 last minute. Upon arrival we went to the bar for a cocktail. Chloe took care of us quickly and served great round of drinks to get us started. She has a great personality and an awesome way of connecting with patrons. The view of the bay is quite nice and certainly a nice prelude to a nice evening at Maestro’s! We were seated at our table shortly thereafter and the great service continued. The menu is a mere one page but the variety and depth of delicious options was impressive. This is a steak house, however they offer various seafood and some poultry for those inclined. We ordered several appetizers including the Hamachi Tuna and sautéed shrimp, sautéed scallops, all beautifully plated & delicious! The shrimp cocktail came out “smoking” from dry ice, beautiful effect and a real attention grabber. We all enjoyed our starters as they didn’t take long to devour! We ordered steaks & one had sea bass. The steaks were cooked just right and delicious! The service was just right, not hovering but always nearby at the right moment. We did not have room for dessert so we decided to have a night cap instead. All in all a wonderful meal at a really great steakhouse!

We were there with the leadership team of 17 people. Unfortunately I had made the reservation not with the Boston restaurant but with the one in Irvine, CA. So our private room was not available. However, the restaurant manager Luis A. Vasquez and the General Manager Connor Larkin went above and beyond to accommodate us. It was simply amazing. The organized a table for 17 people in no time, had me sent the confirmation by mail and instantly we had the pre-selected menu printed in front of us. The evening turned out amazing even though it started with a shock of having made the reservation and prepayment to the wrong branch. The service was outstanding and so was the food. It was a perfect evening and I want to take the opportunity to once more thank the team at Mastro's Ocean Club from the bottom of my heart. You truly made this event amazing.

Had the most amazing anniversary dinner here last night! The service was incredible, Ruben went above and beyond to make our night feel so special. The food, cocktails, and wine were all outstanding. They even surprised us with a dessert to celebrate and customized the menu with Happy Anniversary printed at the top. The little touches and attention to detail made the whole experience unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the Seaport, highly recommend!

I enjoy coming here and last week Mario was our waiter and was fantastic as always. He was patient and described the food and drinks perfectly. Amazing service is not what I’m used to after Covid but this place is top notch. Compliments to the chef. We will request Mario again I can’t wait for the next event. The snow won’t stop me from going to Mastro Boston because of Mario thank you!!!!!

Where do I start? Very efficient and clean place with a gorgeous bar.Mario is the best. He truly is an expert who values his job and is excellent at his job. I'm glad I got what he recommended and he paired the wine with the food so well. I was not in the best spirits but left happy and relaxed. I will never go to another place in seaport I never had a bad experience here but this last visit was just so incredible.cheers 🙏✊🏼

Dined at Mastros on 1/1/26 and it was probably the best dining experience we have ever had. It was definitely a great start to the year as we had family visiting from outside the country. I can't thank Gabby enough for the amazing service she provided. She was very attentive and making sure everyone had what they needed. Thank you to Gabby and the GM Connor for making this a special night!

Went for valentines dinner, the place was PACKED, but could not have been more satisfied with the entire experience. The waitstaff delivered top tier service with a smile and the food was A+. The GM, Connor, was very attentive to his staff but made it a point to check in and ensure we were satisfied with our visit to Mastros. We will be back!

Great steak and dessert. Mario took care of our table and was calm and collected. We tortured him with asking for extra things and pictures and changed our mind on a couple of food options but with such care and grace. He took out his phone and used the translator app to talk to my mother and made sure she was happy. He even walked us out and made sure valet was waiting. All I have to say is WOW.

Was here on Valentine’s day last night and was great. Food and services were excellent. Met two of the managers last night (Conner and Val) who showed excellent manners and services. Great place to have dinner. Enjoyed the live entertainment as well.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary and had the best time!! The staff was absolutely amazing, so friendly and truly made the night feel special. The food was incredible and we enjoyed every single dish!! Overall, an amazing and memorable experience. We can’t wait to go back!

Went for the first time on Valentine’s Day and although the restaurant was full, the staff, service, food and experience was top tier. I have experienced fine dining before but this experience and quality was one of the best. I highly recommend Mastros Boston to anyone who has the opportunity to visit!

The best Restaurant I've ever been around that area. Me and my wife went to the place, which is cozy and quiet, you could definitely expect a high end experience, because they will provide that to you for sure. All started with the host, and then the service provided by the waiter and the whole team, looked like they were happy to serve us, and provide the best they could, and food? Unreal, and absolutely amazing and tasteful! Don't hesitate to visit Mastro's Ocean Club! it's a MUST! Congrats on your place, team, food, and service !

What a way to celebrate my birthday! This place is very classy and the food is wonderful. I was able to get a reservation a couple days before and once we arrived, we didn’t wait to be seated. The place was packed but the service didn’t lack. Our server, Reuben, was great! He was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us decide our meals. The food was great too! The a la carte sides are sharing size so don’t let that deter you. Overall, my birthday was well spent here.

I have been to this location a few times. The staff is always so warm and welcoming. The ambience is chic but not stuffy, and the ocean view is amazing! The food is classic - something for everyone - and always fresh and made well. Alongside the great views, food, and service are some really nice cocktails, wonderful wine list, and talented live music. I would recommend a visit to anyone planning a trip to the city, and I will definitely be back!

Best tuna tartare in Boston: I know all worse and good!!!, very fresh…. I can guarantee that cause I’ve been here many times . And I always go for tuna, Tartar. Tenu ( Amazing server ) was very professional and brought so much joy and positive energy to the table. The food is always great, and we had a wonderful night. Thank you

We had an excellent dining experience last night. From the time we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly staff at the host stand. The restaurant was elegant and warm with great live music. Our server Jorge was attentive and his service was flawless-present at the right moments but never intrusive. He was extremely knowledgeable with the menu. The manager Fab checked in on us several times to make sure we were enjoying our meals. She was so friendly and nice it truly elevated our experience. The food was amazing -the timing, the temperature and the presentation. For anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Boston, this place sets the standard.

Went to Mastro’s for Valentine’s Day — busy and a bit noisy, but the waiter was attentive. The food was above par, and the drinks were amazing. Overall, a solid spot for a special occasion, even if it’s a little loud.

We've been wanting to try Mastro's for a long time and glad that we did. The food and service were excellent. We saw an appetizer online but it wasn't on the menu. We told our server and he made it happen. So glad we did, tuna sashimi with a jalapeño on it. Tuna was so fresh and the heat from the jalapeño was a nice contrast. We both had filets that were cooked perfectly. The asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes were fresh and tasty. Chocolate cake to complete the night. My only complaint is when we made our reservation we informed that it was our anniversary. We were seated in what is clearly a function room but they put us directly under a giant television monitor. I know that it was New Year's Eve but not the ambiance I was looking for. Looking forward to a return trip with an ocean view next time. Went back to Masto's this past weekend and the food was excellent but the service was a problem. The restaurant was beyond busy and I get that, but our server went to a large party when our desert finally arrived at the table and neglected to retrieve our port wine orders from the bar. He proceeded to take the large parties order and after some time, returned with their drinks and our two ports. The only problem is that we ordered our port wine to enjoy with our desert, not after we ate it. I felt bad refusing the ports when they arrived, but we were ready for the check and had to leave because we had tickets to a show. The service was great up until that point, but rookie move to go to a large party and not have someone grab our drinks.

My boyfriend and I went to Mastro’s Steakhouse for a date night, and we were excited to try it. The dinner and appetizers were good, and the wine we had was enjoyable as well. The staff was very friendly and upbeat, which added to the overall atmosphere. We weren’t looking for complete silence, just enough volume to enjoy the ambience and actually be able to chat. Unfortunately, it was a bit too loud to comfortably have a conversation. Overall, it was a good meal with great energy, but the noise level made chatting a little challenging.

Food and drinks excellent, though expensive Took too long to get drinks (order) and food. Took 3 hours for dinner. We weren't in a rush, but I did notice others around us served much faster.

Mastro's offers a culinary experience akin to Boston's most delicious fever dream, if you're willing to indulge yourself. It takes a special sauce for a restaurant to achieve the "Three Hours of Dining Were an Odyssean Blur, Without the Downfall" status. Let's examine the ingredients. The food lacks creativity and fails to push boundaries of flavor; instead, it's heaped on plain white plates in soulful meals cooked to perfection. The seafood tower was fresh and presented functionally, although without the oysters' flavor profile. The shrimp and garlic bread, drenched in sauce and butter, was rich and dangerously filling. The lobster sushi roll was served, unconventionally, in a creamy sesame lobster sauce, which complemented the simpler tuna sashimi. Real wasabi was an added bonus. The wild mushroom and black truffle gnocchi has a reserved spot on my (not too distant) gravestone, the king crab fried rice and chilean sea bass melted in the mouth but lacked some flavor, and the lamb rack was well seared but rested slightly too long before being taken out of the kitchen. Celebratory dessert consisted of various cakes served with fresh fruit and pleasing plating. Forgive me Lord, for I have committed gluttony. The wine menu was plentiful and cocktails were tasty, but not exceptional. Our server, Yenni, was blessed with the exceptional waitress gene. She regaled us with stories and treated us with attentive service and a commanding knowledge of the menu. The restaurant also has a few tricks up their sleeve for special occasions. Yenni, if you're reading this, you remind me of Awkwafina (I'm a fan of Awkwafina). Anyway. Decor is lavish yet easy on the eyes, with black tones and warm lighting. Mastro's sits by the harbor, making outdoor seating a must during warm weather. There's also wonderful live music. Come for the location, stay for the food, and feel pressured to stuff your face. It's entirely appropriate here.

My husband and I have been to Mastro’s several times and made it a tradition to bring our 3 sons at the end of every year since the food is priced high. In 2025, we dine at Mastro’s several time and even brought my parents in February as we double date for Valentine’s Day and went in June for our anniversary. Both times we were satisfied with our delish meals, great service and the Vibe was great with the singers serenading the audience. I decided to post a review since our experience was less than stellar yesterday on New Year’s Eve 12/31/25. The place was packed like sardines and we had to duck our heads whenever the wait staff were bringing the big trays of food to serve the tables next to us as their rear ends swiped the back of chairs and we kept pulling our chairs towards our table to avoid it. Our table of 5 was placed near the walkway parallel to the kitchen doors and the bright light in the kitchen were triggering with all the back and forth of the wait staff and the soft light in the dining area. We dealt with one table with 2 toddlers who were screaming behind me and next to our table was also a party of 8-10 people who were so loud apart from the restaurant as a whole being Extremely noisy. We couldn’t even have conversations as a family while we were there to celebrate my son Jonathan’s 13th birthday. I ended up with a headache since I sat across the door to the kitchen instead of having my 3 sons deal with it and IT WAS OVERLY STIMULATING THAT BEING IN THE BATHROOM WAS ALMOST THE BEST SEAT IN THE RESTAURANT AT IT WAS CALM, QUIET AND I CAN ACTUALLY HEAR THE MUSIC. Silver lining the food was still great despite the restaurant being crowed. But, the service was lacking since it was hard to get our waiters attention as he tried his best to check in with us since he was covering other tables. We opted not to eat dessert since we just wanted to leave. The place felt overwhelming and we waited for 20mns for the waiter to bring a slice of bday cake for my son which we didn’t care for and another 15mns to get our check which was delivered by one of the managers. Despite all of that, my husband gave a generous tip. We were looking forward to enjoying our dinner like always and spend time as a family with my 2 oldest sons back home from college. Instead we were met with a disappointing experience. I told my husband never again would we go there around a holiday. For the money we spent for a party of 5, THE EXPERIENCE WAS DISAPPOINTING and FELT CHOTIC.

Each time I visit and sit at the bar, there is a white male bartender with a mustache who consistently treats me as if I am invisible. He is attentive and welcoming to other customers, specifically white patrons, by providing menus, asking for drink orders, and checking in on them. However, he does not extend the same courtesy to me. Initially, I questioned whether I was misinterpreting the situation, so I returned with a friend (I did not mention my experience with that bartender to my friend). My friend independently noticed the same behavior and commented on how we were ignored. We were not offered menus, water, and barely acknowledged. It was not until a Latino gentleman stepped in and asked if we wanted water or menus that we received any service. What stood out most was that he appeared to notice the disparity, as he looked directly at the bartender while the bartender continued assisting other white customers and still did not acknowledge us. I have been a regular customer at Mastro’s for quite some time. I consistently spend a significant amount of money and tip well always over 25%. I have had positive experiences with every other staff member, but this repeated interaction with this particular bartender has made me uncomfortable and reluctant to return. Also I want to add I wish Mastro’s did not share tips because I hate that I am tipping that bartender for not treating me well every time I step foot in there. I don’t want to tip bad service.

Okay! Gotta call out it! My experience was disappointing. We ordered the the tomahawk steak. The steak was not tender at all and it had more muscle tough parts then anything, which was very disappointing. We had a party of 8 and one person had to wait 15m for fish!!! They forgot my side order too. Im writing because my expectations for an "elite" spot like this should be on point. I don't care that its valentines weekend, you staff meeting and plans to prepare and this was not the case for our table.

Disappointing experience at Maestros on Valentine’s Day. Right off the bat we were seated in the bar area which was incredibly loud and not the intimate experience we were expecting for Valentine’s Day. That would have been fine however if not for the rest of the night. We waited about fifteen minutes before our waiter even welcomed us and gave us menus. Drinks took about 15-20 minutes to come out and were very mediocre. The apps (bone marrow and clam chowder) were both excellent. The steaks (8oz filet and American Wagyu Ribeye) however were both undercooked. My fiancée ordered medium and got medium rare, I ordered medium rare and got the rarest steak I’ve ever seen. Upon letting the server know about my steak, a manager came over and asked what I wanted them to do about it and wasn’t apologetic. I told them I’d like them to cook it a bit more to the temp that I ordered. They took the steak back and brought it back out and it was cooked a bit more but still pretty rare, at that point I just ate the steak and called it a night. The worst part was that if the steak had been cooked to medium rare it would have been phenomenal, nothing wrong with the cut just how it was cooked. Overall just a very disappointing experience.
