Was there for an event and got off the elevator to absolutely stunning night time views of downtown L.A. Wow.

nice atmosphere to spend the evening, watch the sunset from among Boston's buildings. Privileged view, beautiful people, good music and free entry. You enter through the hotel. There's Parking very close.

Amazing views and consistent food and drinks. The salmon bowl had great flavor. Not fine dining, but laid back and chill and good service. Lovely views of the harbor, both in the day and at night.

One of the best rooftop in Boston!!! Night view is better than day view from this location. We went to try some drinks and to chill, good atmosphere and vibes, when we got there, it was a party at the entrance so somehow, we were lucky.

The rooftop at the Envoy is an awesome spot with a great atmosphere and good music. It’s definitely one of those places where the vibe alone makes it worth checking out. That said, like most of Boston, it’s not cheap—you’re looking at $20+ per drink, so if you grab a few rounds, it adds up fast. Still, they use high-quality liquor (especially the tequila, which I appreciated), and you can taste the difference. One standout was the frozen mango cocktail—on a hot summer day, two of those will set you right. Between the skyline views, the energy, and the quality drinks, I’d absolutely go back. Just keep in mind, you’re in Boston, so expect to pay for the experience.

A great place to enjoy a relaxed brunch. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the start. The sandwich was just the right choice for a late Sunday breakfast after a long flight—fresh, satisfying, and perfectly portioned. And the coffee? Strong, smooth, and exactly what you need to kickstart the day. Thank you!

We didn't try the food so I can't comment. We had beer and the place was packed. Worth it as the view and atmosphere was great..there was a combination of locals who were there to party and tourists like us who wanted to savour in the view. They checked our ID which was funny for my friend and I as we were well above the minimum age.

Want to give a special shoutout to Chris and Mike. We had no idea we had to make a reservation and it was packed! They still somehow made it work and we are forever grateful music food and drinks were great! If anything come for the view… wow

I always have fun in this place. Amazing terrace for sunset and drinks at a decent price. They are very chill and don’t discriminate so you can find everyone across the board from tourists in their shorts to people dressed up. ID is required at door.

I had my son's wedding reception at the Envory Rooftop, and it was amazing. We had great customer service. My personal core value is centered around respect and that is what we got from everyone that worked there. Thank you. The drinks is of the chain. Thank you bartender. Everyone had a wonderful time. I plan to visit again.

This place definitely has a breathtaking view of Boston. We didn’t eat here but had a drink, the drink prices are steep but we had a good time nonetheless.

The funny thing is I actually don't drink, I came for the great views, the mocktails to my surprise turned out to be great. At most bars they are very regular, like some lemonade and sprite. These mocktails had a bit more thought put into them. The food wasn't all that great but the service was great. I had an issue with the food but it was taken care of without any troubles. I went during the day so it wasn't crowded but you do have to book tables online and there is a table minimum.

Beautiful views overlooking Seaport areas. Ambience: can't speak enough for the views and the music being on display here. Drinks : the drinks were delicious but little expensive. Althout the bill was not all that outrageous! Food: we didn't try the food unfortunately. Service: the service was great. We missed our table by few minutes. Since it was my friends birthday the hostess accommodated us. And I found that to be very nice. Really appreciate the help from her. Even our server was really nice!

Great view. Tons of foreign tourists. Food was surprisingly good for a bar with a view. The fries were amazing! The wait staff consistently ignored us when we asked for an outdoor heater to be turned on, but the bartenders poured heavy (whiskey double rocks), and were very friendly.

The ambiance was fantastic the food was horrible. The drinks were acceptable. The scenery the ambience and the people there also was very friendly no complaints whatsoever. Except for the food can't even believe such a nice place can have such a That's so good food. Everything other than food was extremely great. Especially the ambiance

Great place to spend time with friends. It was really busy when we went, and it was rather loud. The options for drinks are a little on the pricy side but generally speaking the room they have to talking us adequate. The waitresses are attentive and the overall view of the bay is great. Would recommend.

A must if you're in Boston. The BEST views of the city & harbor while sipping on great cocktails. Only downside, no food or even appetizers so eat before or after. During cold months, they have amazing heated igloos you can reserve & a few first come first serve, to hangout with friends in. They open at 4pm daily so get there as early as possible to get a table. One of my top 2 rooftop bars. Great music, excellent location & great place to go to socialize.

2021 BOS Restaurant Week: 2nd Stop We choose Lookout Rooftop as our secret brunch/Lunch with a view. This place is very beautiful. You can see the ocean and city view inside and outside the restaurant, also it’s very close to the courthouse. Restaurant week menu is very good. An appetizer and a main entree. We love the claim chowder, it’s very delicious. The burger is very good too. However, the drink is a meh. We enjoyed our time there. It’s definitely a must go place.

Great views. During cold weather season, they're accommodating with heaters. Drinks are a little pricey but not ridiculous pricing either. They did taste good. The crowd was mixed with all ages.

Very nice rooftop bar with a VIEW! Food selection was appetizers and the quantity was for big group wasnt that great. Overall the drinks were good! Very friendly staff, guests and nice atmosphere. The view was the best! Recommend to go there and try.

The view is perfect! It's well worth it for what you can see from there. Food is limited to snacks and a variety of drinks. Good atmosphere, beautiful people, good music.

The place has a spectacular view and a great atmosphere. The rooftop is beautiful, well located, and the crowd adds to the overall experience. However, the service does not match the setting. Drinks are served in plastic cups and the food comes with plastic plates and utensils, which feels completely out of place for a venue like this. Overall, it’s worth visiting for the views and ambiance, but I would not recommend it if you’re looking for high-quality service that matches the location.

Seaport igloos and ice curling, sort of: We ate last night at Rooftop at the Envoy, in the Seaport. We went there to experience the outdoor igloos you can dine in. The two tubing-and-clear-vinyl geodesic igloos each seat 10, which we did not know, so we --- and the couple in the igloo next door --- had a lot of space. There are user-adjustable heaters in the igloos, and waitperson-adjustable music. Nice view of the skyline across Fort Point Channel. They also had two reduced-scale ice curling tables set up outdoors. The tables were about 20-ish feet (6-7 meters) long, with same-scale curling stones. I'd never seen that before. My date had picked the place on the basis of the igloos, but hadn't checked the menu. We were surprised that the food and drink were pretty generic pub fare - burgers, wings, and such - at standard Seaport prices. The food was pretty ordinary, and lukewarm when delivered. There's a large outdoor area outside the bar, where the igloos are located. I bet this is a nice spot to have a drink on a warm summer evening, but I wouldn't go there for the food, or the igloos, unless you have nine more people you need to share the occasion with.

The 3 stars are only for the beautiful ambiance ! The place is super crowded. You need to book it well in advance. We went with lot of hopes but the food and drinks were a complete disappointment! The drinks are served in cheap plastic ware and the taste is 👎food menu is super limited and all food served is frozen and microwaved! They won’t customise anything for you! If you want to feel Boston city one time visit would be great but no much hopes on food and drinks!

Two stars for the view. The food tasted like it came straight out of the freezer, the shots were completely watered down, and drinks were served in plastic cups. Our waitress looked miserable and didn’t smile once. We eventually had a different waiter who was much friendlier. The view is absolutely stunning, but the place lacks any finesse.

The view is the only thing here. We arrived around 3pm, the staff said they would be right with us, after about 15 minutes another staff member said it was seat yourself in the bar area. We went over to the dining side of the restaurant, even though it was empty the host told us it was strictly by online reservation only. Clearly not because she seated us 2 minutes later. We sat down and ordered some small bites for a large price. At a high price point, I expected small portions but also delicious food. The clam chowder was bland, Caesar salad was average, and the tuna was disappointing. Everything was served in paper plates with plastic utensils. Our waiter was not engaging or friendly. They were playing music so so loud, and kept changing the song mid-song. There were many older couples in the bar, a relaxing 3pm vibe, but they were playin raunchy explicit music heavy on the N word. Not cool. After paying and finally getting out of here our waiter or host didn’t even acknowledge us on the way out. Overall, poor food, poor service, poor ambiance. The only reason people come here is for the view.

Bartender lied and charged me 20$ for a mocktail. No worries though reported it to my bank. If you’re broke Johnny just say so I’d donate to you no problem.

Bad service, bad food, our bill had extras added that we didn’t order, they forgot some of our food then it came out with half the listed items on the menu. We arrived for a 7pm reservation, terrible service and it took us 10+ mins to be seated. Views are great but I’d come up and take a photo without taking a reservation. We paid $25 just to book a table. Total rip off. Plastic cutlery and glasses. Like they say.. money can’t buy class. This place is so gauche.

I had a very disappointing experience here. I had fun just before those remarks. During my visit, I was subjected to racist behaviour that left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. No one should have to experience discrimination, especially in a public setting. I reported the incident to the management. They didn’t even take the issue as serious as it should be. A guy made a verbal threat to end my life and the management was to cool about it. It's unacceptable, and I truly hope the management takes this seriously and ensures that others don't have to go through what l faced.

We walked in and out of this place. The staff was rude right from the jump walking in very confusing as where to talk to the hostess. Bartenders didn’t great us, no one had a nice and friendly look. Unfortunate because we would have spent decent money. Hostess and “security” guy at front were the most unpleasant people in the whole establishment.

Stay away. Don't waste your time. I've been in the bar/restaurant industry for 8 years and even own my own business (sick brag I know sorry) so I know the difference between a bad night and a bad operation. This? Absolute trainwreck. Drinks? Fine. Views? Gorgeous. But everything else? Trash. Food came out on cafeteria-style trays, glasses were dirty, and our server looked like she wanted to walk off the roof rather than take care of guests. I get that it's Labor Day weekend and nobody wants to work, but wow, that was baddddddd. We slammed our drinks and got out. For a Marriott charging these insane prices, this level of quality is embarrassing.

Super rude staff! We came there 10:45 beside the fact they still were serving drinks security guy wanted obviously leave early and didnt let us in. According to google they work till 11:30PM. Never visit this place! We could not to waste our only evening in Boston but still managed to do it. Highly not recommended!

$20 for a glass of anything in plastic cups. Rude service. The servers could care less. Massively overrated. Usually frequented by dependent Gen Zs wanting a 'vibe'. If you want class, go to Davios.

go somewhere else. pretty rooftop but food is awful every time and service on the rooftop is basically nonexistent. no one is there when you walk in except bartender, i have been three times now and never a host. unknowledgeable and uninterested staff, charge auto gratuities at random probably due to awful service. servers always look annoyed and only come to drop off food and then never come back. horrible food, only positive thing is the view but boston has better rooftops. cocktails decent but overpriced. minimum spend for igloos 50 /person weekends but 25/ person weekdays and sundays, i was told i was wrong when i said 25 per person and that it was 50 because there was no host available. manager was unhelpful and rude. all in all reflects lazy management.

Food and cocktails were disappointing, and overall service didn’t match expectations. Despite having a reservation ($25 fee), we weren’t given a table by the fireplace - even though it remained empty during our visit. The website mentions a 20% service fee only for groups of six or more, but it was added to our bill regardless. Additionally, there was no staff at the entrance to guide us to the reserved area, and we had to find someone ourselves. Overall, it was a poor experience and not worth the visit.

Terrible customer service and missed opportunity. We requested an igloo for one hour. The igloo was wide open, completely empty, and stayed unused for well over an hour while we were there. Despite this, the manager refused to allow us to use it, claiming there was a future reservation—even though no one was currently using the space. As someone who has worked many years in bartending and restaurants, this was extremely disappointing. Good hospitality is about flexibility when possible. We were more than willing to pay—even for 30 minutes to an hour—yet they chose to leave the igloo empty instead of accommodating paying customers. I understand rules and reservations, but there are times when smart customer service means making reasonable adjustments between bookings. Leaving a premium space unused, losing revenue, and sending customers away frustrated is bad business. For a Boston-area establishment, this level of service was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience guarantees we won’t be returning. And yes, this just happened right now. I’m walking out as I’m posting.
