We had a truly exceptional experience, Matt. The manager's accommodating nature, a quality that is often difficult to find, ensured a seamless and enjoyable visit. This was particularly appreciated given the presence of food allergies within our group, as the team adeptly managed all dietary requirements. Furthermore, our request to be seated in a specific area of the restaurant was also met with great flexibility. Overall, our work event was a resounding success, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. For those seeking outstanding service, excellent beverages, and diverse culinary options situated directly on the waterfront, we wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. We believe you will find it to be a highly satisfying experience. Thank you once again for your hospitality; we eagerly anticipate our return.

Last night at Pier 22 in Bradenton was a truly memorable way to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was attentive and professional throughout our meal. We had made a reservation, which is highly recommended for weekend evenings or special occasions, and they truly made us feel celebrated. The menu has variety of great choices. The Shrimp Francescano was perfectly prepared and flavorful. Frozen ice cream cake was a yummy dessert that simply exceeded expectations. Highly recommended restaurant in Tampa Bay.

Outstanding find. Right on the water. Accessible by water which we took advantage of. Table readily available with outstanding service and even better fair. Seafood was fresh, prepared perfectly. Highly recommend the fresh game… Elk our evening. Excellent choice to boat cruise in, dine, and enjoy the sunset.

Such beautiful 🤩 views from the patio of the Bay Area. We also got lucky and arrived during happy hour. They make a great old fashioned 🥃, very stiff the way I like my old fashioned. I ended up ordering two especially with the happy hour special of $8/🥃. The balsamic chips make for a delicious 😋 appetizer and I recommend you order two for the table. The cod fish & chips make for a delicious main course. Our server Talan was a very gracious server and took care of us. I’ll be back for sure.

Our next family food adventure take us to The patio pier 22 located in Bradenton FL with a category of 4.4 and more than 5,471 reviews, this place is perfect for turning a family gathering or a get-together with friends into something special, with a unique view of the sunset and the bay, accompanied by the sound of the sea. Our visit was on November 1st with perfect, cool weather. Our waitress was very attentive and professional. The entire menu and the options she recommended were all delicious, but you had to eat quickly because of the weather. Was a great time high recommended place to share unforgettable experiences.

This is one of the best restaurants in the area! Whether you sit inside or outside, the vibe is always amazing. But the patio is one of my favorite places to catch a sunset. The food is some of the freshest I've ever had. Service is usually top notch. I've been here dozens of times in groups of 2-7. Never a disappointment!

Had a nice Saturday afternoon having lunch at pier 22 outside with a great view , my waitress and manager were very friendly and accommodating my husband allergies issues. they were very polite and made sure he had the right food for him. Good drinks too

Every year we come here for an Amazing Easter Brunch Buffet. The food is always excellent as is the service and the views!! The past 2 years we have had the same waitress, Tamara, she is fabulous… very nice and attentive in a highly professional manner! As for the buffet, my one and only suggestion…. Since you always have prime rib as the carving station…you should have mashed potato’s to go along with it… that’s just my two cents!

The fresh catch was wahoo, I almost had to lick the plate clean. The absolute best thing I’ve had in months. The Ossobuco was also phenomenal! Aurora was super nice and dealt with any diet restriction requests we had. We will be back as often as we can.

1st time here. We r from Michigan and were there for our son's and daughter-in-law's engagement party a couple weeks ago. The food was delicious. The drinks were top notch. Service was great! Great atmosphere and a view of boats and the Manatee River. Highly recommend it.

We went here for lunch on our trip to this area and I absolutely loved it! It looks like there's A few different areas. I'm not sure if they all have a different menu. You could eat outside, which we did not because it was very windy. But it's at the end of a pier and has a great view. You could eat inside in an informal dining area. And then there was another inside area that looked a bit more formal. It was absolutely delicious! Lots of different types of seatings and plenty to choose from on the menu. Our server was fantastic. The Monte Cristo appetizer was perfection. I would definitely go again! Highly recommend!

My wedding was here on 11/29/25. Hannah and the rest of the pier 22 staff were amazing in helping me have the perfect day. From the beautiful views, catering, setting up, and even the small details on the day of. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue

Great food, service and atmosphere! I had the Caribbean Jerk wings, espresso martini and Shock Top. The bar area was comfortable and spacious. I sat in the patio area and it was a Tuesday. Highly recommend! Views of the river are amazing! Happy hour prices and menu rock!

Beautiful location with a great view of the water. The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is friendly and attentive, and it’s a nice spot to enjoy good food by the river.

Stopped in after jogging down by Riverwalk, have not been back for about 10 years! I will say the food was very nice and presented well. The bartender, Trish, was very welcoming from the exact second I sat down even though she was noticably busy at the time! Also you can't be at the view! Thank you

Excellent spot. The ribeye was amazing. Probably the best steak I’ve ever had.

The scenery at Pier 22 is so beautiful. You really get a sense of peace and serenity. We went here after playing mini golf. Our waitress was great. I wanted to order fried fish, but fish, but I ordered Jambalaya instead. It was good, but not great. My daughter ate just as much of my plate as I did. When I got home, I experienced stomach upset. I believe it was food related, but my daughter did not have the same issue. She also did have as much of the sausage and chicken as well. My partner and stepson both ordered hamburgers. I will go back mainly for the view, but I will likely not order Jambalaya again .

People greeting at the door were not very welcoming, but luckily our waitress was very friendly. Danielle N took great care of us. Thanks to her and the awesome food selection and great taste, we would highly recommend and will return.

It was our first time at this restaurant. We loved everything that we ordered. We liked both sangrias :) My husband loves calamares and he said that these were one of the best. The tacos were good too. I would definitely recommend this place to my guests :)

This place looked cool from the bridge, so it stopped by. Immediately greeted and sat down by staff. They do offer bread and butter. The prices are pretty good, in my opinion. I got the shrimp macadamia appetizer. Big shrimp and well seasoned. I love their soft shell crab and alligator sandwiches. Will definitely be back.

For our second annual reunion, a restaurant called Pier22, located in Bremerton, was selected as it was the mid-point for all attendees. Situated in a harbor, there were views of the yachts and water at just about any place you sat in the restaurant. We were looking forward to the camaraderie that comes with long-time friendships. We were escorted to our table by hostess Kassi who seemed determined to provide a memorable dining experience for us. A glance at the menu provided us with many culinary delights to choose from. Kassi explained menu selections and specialties in a way that enhanced our choices. Her customer service throughout our meal made us all feel special. From the clam chowder soup that was excellent to the flatbread and other menu selections we knew we were in for a treat. What a great way to start our meal. There were rave reviews from all of us as we feasted on each choice selected. I ordered the grouper sandwich, which was cooked to perfection. Kassi’s customer service was a real credit to Pier22. They say great customer service starts at the top and Manager Jennifer’s has insured her staff was ready to make a visit to Pier22 a memorable experience This up scale restaurant is sure to have you returning on many occasions.

Wonderful place to dine. Great views of the pretty boats and water while eating. Menu is quite reasonable for what you get. 3 seating options: indoor (tomb like quiet), enclosed 4 season (my fave with fire pit) outdoor. Food was delish even tho my bloody mary was watered down, still recc and would def go back. My drink was only 10.00 so ya get what ya pay for there.

We sat on the patio with drinks and ordered small plates. Liz was exceptional as a server and the food was good. We may be back for dinner.

A Hidden Gem with Unforgettable Service Pier 22 is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. From the moment we arrived, the stunning waterfront view set the tone for what turned out to be a perfect evening. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit, but what truly made our dinner exceptional was our server, Linda. Linda went above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly intuitive, anticipating what we needed before we even had to ask. It honestly felt like we were her only table, though the restaurant was clearly buzzing with guests. That level of attention is rare and made our night feel really special. I had the seafood Cobb salad, which was packed with fresh, vibrant ingredients; leafy lettuce, REAL crab meat, and shrimp —every bite was flavorful and satisfying. My sister ordered the fried chicken with french fries, and it was comfort food done right: crispy, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. You could taste the quality in every dish, and the portions were generous. For the price, it’s a fantastic value. Words don’t quite capture the full experience here—you just have to come and see for yourself. Whether you're celebrating something special or just want a relaxing meal with a view, Pier 22 delivers on all fronts: fresh, delicious food, top-tier service, and fair pricing. And if you’re lucky enough to have Linda as your server, you’re in for a real treat.

We had lunch on the terrace since it was a sunny but cool day, and it was lovely. Our waiter Chris was friendly and cordial. The service was what you would want. The food was good and filling. Great atmosphere and not rushed out. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will go back.

I'm still reeling from the incredible experience I had at Pier 22 in Bradenton, Florida! The food was absolutely phenomenal - every bite was a masterclass in flavor and presentation. But what truly stole the show was the view. Sitting on the pier, overlooking the water, was the perfect setting for a relaxing evening out. However, the real MVP was Chris, our bartender. This young man is a gem! His charming personality and warm smile made us feel right at home. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made expert recommendations. His service was top-notch, and we left feeling like we'd been treated to something special. Chris, I want to extend a huge thank you for making our evening so unforgettable. Your excellent service and delightful demeanor elevated our dining experience to new heights. If you're looking for a great spot to enjoy some delicious food and stunning views, look no further than Pier 22. And be sure to ask for Chris at the bar - you won't regret it!

Pier 22 is a large well-operated restaurant, with a large menu focused on seafood, but with something to offer for all tastes. The view of the wide river is delightful during daylight hours. The Pier 22 Salad was great and the Grouper Oscar with crab meat over corn risotto and topped with asparagus speers was exceptional. Prices, including for wine, are very fair for a high-end restaurant. Service was prompt and professional. I'll definitely return when visiting again!

Great burgers and I loved the pizzas. The French dip was excellent. They have high quality salads (mixed greens with multiple extras) too. Rob was our waiter and he was very efficient and attentive. You can't beat the scenery, right on the water, shade or sun options. Inside seating area is available. The prices were reasonable with decent portions.

Such a great time with the in laws in town. Food tasted amazing, we love the prime rib! I can’t remember what day it was but our servers name was Jamie and she was fantastic. We’ve come many times but will definitely ask for her next time we come in!

Reluctantly sent back Blackened fish - too salty - they could not have been nicer. Within minutes our friend received a whole new meal with many apologies from the waitress and the DR Manager genuinely apologizing and recommending how to order blackened "anything" in the future. Wonderful meal, great drinks, and terrific appetizers. We saw the sunset and stayed for cappuccino and creme brulee. I'm a "frequent flyer" at Pier 22!

Pier 22/The GROVE did a wonderful job catering our daughter’s wedding. We love eating at this restaurant and the food served at the wedding was just as delicious as at the restaurant. We received many compliments on the food from wedding guests, including the appetizers, main dishes and the mashed potato bar. The wedding cake was beautiful and the caramel filling and vanilla butter cream icing was so good! Kim did a wonderful job helping us plan the menu and answered a number of questions for me and shared great advice. It was wonderful working with Kim and her staff at Pier 22/The GROVE. Everyone was so helpful! Thank you for the great service and delicious dinner!

I want to applaud Pier 22 for the service they provided from start to finish, for my son's wedding ceremony and reception. Hannah is outstanding as a coordinator. Easy to work with, gave great direction and advice, and incredibly responsive. The menu choices for catering are extensive, the food delicious, and presentation excellent. Guests continually commented on how lovely everything was and that solidified that we made the right choice. The staff supporting our event throughout the evening were superb. They anticipated needs and were flexible. I was impressed that they were ready to adjust the time table up, when things were moving along quicker than anticipated. The entire experience truly helped us to relax and enjoy the momentous occasion. Thank you all!

Went here for my birthday and the food, the atmosphere, the serving team was awesome!!!! Had the crab cake appetizer and it was so warm and soft with side sauce they serve with it. For dinner I had the chicken cordon bleu, very tasty, the white gravy on top was soo good. I loved the personality of our server, she was awesome, let us know the chefs specials for the night and gave us plenty of time to review the menu. Oh and the house made Sangria was perfect!!! Will return for future celebrations or just a night out for dinner. I really loved the patio seating area, it is the biggest I’ve seen for a restaurant.

Last week, we had Christmas dinner at Pier 22 with family. It was our 5th year in a row of this tradition. As always, the scenery was beautiful, and the holiday decorations were wonderful. The food was outstanding, as it always is. We have become accustomed to great service here, too, but our server this time was ANNA. She was simply amazing, and raised the bar even higher in a restaurant that clearly focuses on excellent service and hospitality. She was very friendly, helpful, and prompt in all areas of her job. It was a wonderful day. I strongly recommend Pier 22.

Went here December 26th 2026 for dinner. Location is very nice and parking was easy although we had a 5pm reservation so we got lucky with a spot right outside in the main parking lot. We were seated right away and got a spot right next to the water which was gorgeous. Our waitress was Ariel and she was awesome. Super friendly and attentive and very helpful with recommendations. Drinks were excellent and we got the wings for an appetizer and they were very good. Also got the clam chowder and it was excellent. For dinner we got the prime rib which was very flavorful and the twin Maine lobsters. It was my first time having creamed spinach and if you like spinach dip then this is very similar. The only thing that wasn’t so good was the bread pudding. It seemed to be more of a toffee cake. It wasn’t bad by any means and was good just not what we were expecting. This is our first time down here and we would definitely come back to this place again, especially as the staff are super welcoming.

Enjoyed my birthday dinner here. We first enjoyed drinks at the outside bar & saw that they have a daily happy hour although we just missed it but good to know for future reference. I enjoyed the crab cake app, wok veggies & a moist & delish carrot cake. The menu has a lot of fantastic choices including wild game & sushi! My husband very much enjoyed his duck. Our service was very good.

Came here for the beautiful sunset views — and they did not disappoint! The setting was stunning, even though it got a bit windy once the sun went down. The service was great -- complimentary valet was a nice touch, too. The food was okay - great portions. My entree (Artichoke Crab pasta) wasn't my favorite but the seasonal sangria was delicious!

Was here for a conference. The room was large and great setting. Parking was a little of a mess, but all in all a good place to host a wedding, small conference, or grab a bite at the restaurant downstairs.

The food was delicious. The only complain I got from my family is that the risotto was a bit undercooked, which it was. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. The bathrooms were spotless, super clean. The appetizers were delicious. They Seemed to be better than the entrées. Also, it’s like you’re paying for the atmosphere versus the food. Very nice place. Our waiter, William.D was absolutely amazing. He was very polite, respectful with a great personality. He made our experience there very enjoyable. I would go back again. The quality of the food is good. I must say their desserts are very good, and made fresh at the restaurant.

I should preface that I enjoy Michelin star meals, have friends who own restaurants, and at home we eat only really well sourced meat and produce from farms we know, love, and trust. So our standard is set quite high. My friend and I came for brunch and ordered French toast, breakfast stuffed crepes, and an egg breakfast sandwich with a crab cake, all with breakfast potato’s on the side. We also indulged in a banana chocolate bread pudding for dessert (clearly we like to over order and bring leftovers home). The Pros: The chef truly knows how to create a beautiful and enticing menu. The intended flavor combinations, and presentation were perfect. We wanted to order everything but settled on just a few items, with the caveat that we go back for dinner some time. The patio is enclosed by sliding insulated doors all around and temperature controlled so no matter the weather (it was wildly windy this day) you can be comfortable and watch the water. The staff is kind, attentive, respectful and eager to please and accommodate where they can. I get the sense they truly go above and beyond for their customers and want to imbue a sense of warmth and courtesy in everything they do. The Cons: The patio is family friendly (a pro) and can get rather loud (the con). My friend and I sat close at a 4 top, had to speak loudly to carry on a normal conversation, and still had to ask each other to repeat things at times. We considered moving inside where the vibe is more jazzy, quiet, and refined but we wanted to be near the docks so we stayed put. My friend and I agreed the food was good, solid, and well prepared, but just not flavorful. This is no fault of the chef or his team, truly. This is a case of restaurants needing to make a profit to survive and keep their costs predictable by ordering from bulk distributors who sell factory farmed produce and protein, which is just not as flavorful as what small vendors, speciality shops, and organic local farms can offer. It’s a very common problem in the restaurant business. Most chefs will cover up poor quality with salt, fats, or sugar, but thankfully that wasn’t the case here! The ingredients were paired and cooked well and left alone to do the heavy lifting, but they just couldn’t quite reach the bar for us. Ultimately, I’d call the food reliable and full of potential. I had such high expectations, and was a little let down, but I’d still go back and try some other menu items. I think the fresh catch is probably more aligned with the quality I expect, but we’ll see and next time we’ll eat inside where we can enjoy the exceptional service, food, and each other with a little more ease.

I think our experience may have been unique as many of the tables around us appear to receive their food fairly quickly. We arrived and were seated promptly (no reservation) we ordered and were served drinks fairly quickly, our food took just a bit over 45 minutes to come out. Nothing was bad by any means but the food was lukewarm and very “average” across the board. We were there for happy hour and ordered six different happy hour items along with two standard dishes including walleye and a burger. Walleye was decent (about $33 for a moderate portion) the burger was fresh but minimally seasoned. Almost everything we ordered was just ok but nothing really stood out as actually “good”. The drink pricing was very fair for the area and would be the stand out as the atmosphere is very nice and relaxing with a cocktail or drink of choice would be very pleasant. Server was good and checked on us regularly but not excessively.

Went on a Sunday for brunch. On waterfront. Beautiful inside and out. Too cold to enjoy outiside. Hubby said his meal (egg scramble) was good, but small portion. No toast? I ordered a Cobb like salad, not impressed. Minced egg, soggy lettuce. We also had appy... grouper, artichoke, parm. Grouper should not taste like tuna from a can!

H
Howie Belsky

1st visit, Brunch is excellent. 2nd visit for dinner, NY Strip is choice not prime. $34 seafood salad has very little seafood in it. The waiter was nice, but never came back to check on us while we are our dinners. Enjoyed sitting out on the deck.

J
Jeremy Bocko

The food was very good, and we had no complaints in that regard. Our party of six (five adults and a two-year-old) had a reservation and were seated at a nice table inside near the deck, adjacent to the sliding glass doors. While the setting was pleasant, the area became uncomfortably warm as the sun came through the glass. To cool the space, we opened the sliding door ever so slightly to allow some airflow. Not fully open, just enough for a breeze. This appeared to bother some guests seated at the bar, who visibly reacted. Shortly after, a bartender came over to close the door and commented that our child “looked cold.” I explained that none of us were cold and that we were actually sweating. I also suggested to the bartender to offer our apologies to the bar guests but we would like to keep the door open as it was very warm where we were sitting. Despite this, one of those same bar guests decided to come over about five minutes later and try to shut the door where I had to physically put my arm out and tell her that we were very warm and the door would remain open while we tried to enjoy our meals. She looked shocked that someone dare tell her she couldn’t do something that would only benefit her but she retreated back to her barstool and put on her sweater. Eventually, a manager checked in, at which point we explained the situation and asked for boxes and the check, as the ongoing interruptions had made the experience frustrating. She offered to move us, but by then we were nearly finished. Our server was excellent and had originally suggested opening the door, so there was no issue from her end. We would return specifically for her service. However, the restaurant may want to reconsider its seating layout or temperature management, particularly when seating guests near large windows during peak sunlight, and establish clearer guidance on managing shared spaces like the sliding doors. I’m sure if there is a response to this review, it’ll all be excuses as to why they can’t change anything and if we had a problem we should’ve said something, etc etc. We did say something and our server was the one who suggested opening the doors a little bit which we thought was entirely fair and a simple fix rather than disrupting our entire table and nearby guests with possibly moving our party to another table away from the windows. If it wasn’t us, it would be the next party to sit there.

Great atmosphere however we were disappointed with the food. The grouper sandwich was a not very generous pice of fish on a bun that was way overkill..too thick The soft shell crab sandwich was ALL Tempura breading...maybe 1 teaspoon of fish. It also tasted horrible and I couldn't eat it. Sorry..very disappointed 😞

j
jennifer libby

Always loved this place but recently the food has definitely gone downhill. The burgers are over cooked and premade patties and the grouper was not good. It had lots of the dark pieces in it which left a horrible fishy taste. For the price it is not worth it! Too many better places in the area to be spending this much on subpar quality food.
