We had the best Sangria we ever had here. The space is gorgeous. This is a great nightlife spot and location for seeing all the Christmas decorations outside. Service was great. Our waiter was very well-informed. We can't wait to come here again when we visit.

Everytime I come here it’s a 10/10 experience. From the food to the service. Very attentive especially when busy. Today were the pleasure of dex, who went above and beyond to craft us specialty cocktails, Shelby who was sweet and took very good care of us and even the manager Priscilla who came to check on us and make sure we’re having a good time. LOVE this place. Happy employees make the difference and keep us coming back!!

This was the first time for us at this restaurant, and it didn't disappoint. We were greeted warmly and our service was super friendly and attentive. We got the quac and chips which was made right at our table. It was delicious, the best we've had. We split a pollo (chicken) taco platter, and it was delicious as well. We are looking forward to going again.

Food was delicious. I was a little hesitant about the spicy, but it was just perfect! Highly recommended. Yesika was exceptional, excellent service.

Great food, glad to see the quality didn't go down since the pandemic, we used to go to the location in Tampa. I like this location better, more family friendly, not crazy loud, and service is great. I had the AL Carbon Chicken. Very tasty, nice lean chicken breast, generous portions for $22. Rice and beans were excellent. My 2 year old had the "My favorite taco" and it was delicious! I almost ate half a taco for her haha. Chips and salsa were excellent. We'll definitely be back!

Amazing all around…this restaurant got off to a rocky start 2 years ago. Came back today and wow! All the kinks are worked out. Service was amazing and John got us started off to a tremendous experience. He made great recommendations and the food and drinks were amazing! I would definitely come back.

Nolan was a legend. A bottle tequila randomly broke while he was pouring a marg and he was able to turn it into ab experience as fun as being in the splash zone at SeaWorld. Takes a special type of person to keep a vibe so high. Food as always is great, and I found my valentine here. (see photo).

Went last week with my boyfriend while exploring the area and stumbled upon this place. We had Ian (i believe that was his name) as our server . Super kind, and gave amazing service. You can tell he cares about his job and cares about giving great service!!!! We'll be back and will be asking for him!!!! Thanks again Ian, YOU ROCK!!!!!!

Gabby P...made our Valentine's day lunch very special...The Lime pie and smash burger tacos were fab...My guy enjoyed tge fish tacos and pork tacos. Loved our custom dips...

First time going here had the Bria queso tacos and they were really really good. Definitely want to go back again very soon

Laura A was FANTASTIC! We are outdoors on the first “chilly” night of the season and such a great time catching up with old friends. House margaritas were delicious as well as the table side guacamole made with a smile. We will be back!!

We had the best time here! Laura our server was the best 😊 I had the Rocco Mango Margarita, it was delicious and for my dinner I had the Quesa Birria tacos that were spot on, so good! We will definitely be back!

Food was excellent. Service was super friendly. Food came out hot and fast. I’m a big eater and always worried about portion size and I could barley finish my burrito! I got the red sauce on the side so that’s why it looks kinda plain in the photo. 😉

Nick is always polite and professional, makes great table aide guac! Mexican Cobb salad is huge and so good and fresh! Fun atmosphere, eating outside is so enjoyable! Will be back!

Rocco's Tacos & Tequila Bar is an incredibly vibrant restaurant with great energy whether you're dining alone or with coworkers or family. The wait staff was courteous, attentive and congenial. Even during dinner peak levels, hostess did a great job of seating me quickly and with very little wait. You definitely can't go wrong with anything involving tequila or margaritas at Rocco's Tacos & Tequila Bar. But I will suggest you work your way down the menu. They have offer to many awesome dishes to chose fr, so you're kind of obligated to make a few return trips. There is a huge parking lot so you won't have to worry about finding room to park.

Fabulous food and service, even with a super full restaurant - and we were a big party too. Sebastian, our server, went above and beyond! 🫶

This was our first time at Rocco's and we truly enjoyed our experience! The food was amazing as was the atmosphere, we loved sitting outside with the beautiful decor. We also had a great server in Ben. He was attentive, knew the menu and helped my husband order. A great experience.

The food was great but it was the service that was excellent. I wasn’t thrilled with the location of the table we were given as it was right next to the drink area and very busy but the hostess didn’t want to give us another table (there were others empty in a better area) but we were so happy we stayed because we got the best server ever! Angel was awesome. He was attentive, friendly, gave us great suggestions and did an overall great job!

We visited the restaurant in Sarasota on a busy Saturday night. I had a friend flying in from Boston for the first time, and I felt this was the perfect place to start our evening. As expected on a busy night, the restaurant was lively. We asked to move our table so we could hear each other better, and the staff accommodated us immediately—with smiles and no hesitation at all. Our server, Josh, was personable, pleasant, and genuinely engaging. He was eager to answer questions and offered excellent suggestions when we asked. His attentiveness and positive energy truly elevated the experience. At the end of the night, we made sure to express how amazing the food was and how much Josh’s service and warm smile made the evening perfect. I asked to speak with his manager, and Josh invited him right over. While personalities always differ, we weren’t surprised to find that the manager shared the same welcoming smile and engaging conversation. It was clear he fosters the incredible atmosphere we experienced. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re truly missing out!

Paris made our experience amazing! She was upbeat, friendly, and so much fun! I'd come back just for her service. Thanks to her recommendation, the strawberry basil margarita is officially my new favorite at Rocco's!

Amazing food, drinks, and even better service. Josh was extremely attentive and kept our margaritas full — and I don’t mean “eventually refilled them.” I mean the man was operating on a sixth sense. If my glass hit the halfway mark, he appeared like a margarita guardian angel. From the moment we sat down, Josh was warm, welcoming, and genuinely engaging. He didn’t just take our order — he guided us through it. He was super informative about the menu, offered great recommendations, and explained everything in a way that made us want to order one of everything. (Zero regrets.) We had our baby with us, and Josh absolutely won her over. He cracked little jokes, made funny faces, and treated her like a VIP guest. It’s not easy balancing great service for adults while also being playful and kind to a baby, but Josh nailed it. Honestly, I think she may have liked him more than us by the end of the meal. What really stood out was how he anticipated our needs before we even asked. Extra napkins? Already there. Another round? On the way. Questions about the menu? Answered before we finished asking. He was attentive without hovering — the perfect balance. The food was fantastic, the margaritas were flowing, and the vibe was great — but Josh truly made the experience memorable. If he’s competing with his teammates for most reviews, this is me doing my civic duty. Give the man the trophy. We’ll definitely be back — and we’re asking for Josh.

I had a wonderful experience at Rocco’s Tacos and had to leave a review to recognize our amazing server, Yesika. She was incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive from the moment we sat down. She made sure our entire table was taken care of and got every single order correct, which we really appreciated. I ordered the street tacos, another person at our table ordered fajitas, and we also had more street tacos at the table. Everything came out fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The margaritas were also a hit and paired perfectly with the meal. What made the experience even better was that the general manager, Jaime, came by our table to personally check on us and make sure everything was great. That was really cool and showed great customer service. We were happy to let him know that we were very pleased and that everything was excellent. Yesika truly made our dining experience enjoyable with her warm personality and great service. We all left happy, full, and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend — great food, great drinks, and outstanding service!

We had such a great time at Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar, and John was seriously the best! Super friendly, quick, and on top of everything. He gave awesome recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed without us ever having to ask. The service alone would make us come back, but John really made the experience stand out. 5s across the board! Have to give a shout out to our server Maddie, she was phenomenal! We ordered a pitcher of margaritas, molcajetes, shrimp fajitas and crispy fish tacos...all were excellent. Portions were a good size too. If you order the molcajetes, give them a few to cool, they come out scorching.

We had an incredible experience at Rocco’s Tacos, and that was largely thanks to our server, Nick. From the moment we sat down, he set the perfect tone for the evening. Not only was he hilarious and kept us laughing, but his recommendations were spot-on, he clearly knows the menu inside and out. Despite a busy floor, he was incredibly prompt and professional and makes a great table-side guacamole. If you’re heading to Rocco’s, do yourself a favor and ask for Nick. He’s a total pro who knows how to make a great meal even better.

Rocco’s has an amazing tequila selection and the food is great. We sat at the bar and Nolan took care of us. Nolan is such a fun and entertaining bartender with a quick wit. Zack is a phenom of a bar manager with such a vast and intricate tequila and mezcal knowledge and can pair you with the tequila you didn’t know you needed in your life!! Ask for him and also make sure you have Nolan when you come in. I bought a bottle of Mijenta Blanco immediately following our visit. We will be back tomorrow for brunch and every weekend here forth!!

Sarasota UTC Location Very good Surf and Turf Molcahete and Birria Tacos...delicious...but all the sides are add-ons. That's fine but just different from what we're used to. Chips were fantastic, salsa choices were very good from mild to spicy and the drinks were also tops! The Molcahete came out volcano hot and bubbling as it should...beef, shrimp, chorizo, and potatoes. The Birria Tacos were very tender and flavorful and a good portion as well. Ben was very helpful as our server and the ambiance was upscale casual...a nice experience overall.

Great for those who don't like hole the wall taco places. I'm used to have plenty of dressings in my taco like tomatoes, onions, etc. The "traditional" carne tacos were dry and basic. Salsa lacks flavor and depth. Medium sauce has too much vinegar in it than I like. My mockarita was more sour than anything else. It's in a busy shopping plaza, especially during holidays, so parking is not right by it.

Rocco’s Tacos is a really fun spot for lunch, with great indoor/outdoor seating right on the corner of the popular UTC shopping center. The decor and atmosphere are excellent, and the food itself was good. That said, the prices felt high for what we got. I’m guessing the location drives some of that, but for a family of four, it just didn’t feel worth the cost. While I could see coming back if we have visitors who want the experience, it’s not a place I’d choose regularly. Good food, fun vibe, just overpriced for what you get.

So first off I would have given this location 5 stars but due to the way we were greeted by the two host that worked on 1/10/2026 at 2:00 pm greeted us was unprofessional and not hospitable. We stood in front of them for two minutes before they even acknowledged us. Then when they finally did they were rude and didn’t even make eye contact. Once we were seated things got better. Our waitress Gabby was amazing and made our experience much better! She was very accommodating and showed great Customer service skills! I suggest the host get better training so that people who may visit in the future don’t experience what we did. Overall I love the restaurant.

It's a beautifully decorated place and it looks like it has a fun vibe. Both the food and beverages; however, are not up to par. The food that I ordered was lacking in flavor. The food is pretty, but not flavorful. I ordered tacos and the corn tortillas broke and were cold. From experience, I can tell you that tortillas break when they are not heated properly. The drinks were bitter and extremely sour. I ordered two different margaritas and they were both incredibly bitter. They do have their "housemade sour mix" and I'm wondering if they have a new person making it because it was way too bitter and sour. I also requested that the rim have extra salt on one and tajin on the other and they put a light dusting as you can see from the images attached. Lastly, the person attending us was nice. The only problem is that I was extremely careful to advise that I have a severe allergy to gluten before ordering. I proceed to order tacos and the waitress asks me if I would like flour tortillas. I responded, "No, because I have a gluten allergy." Either the wait staff is not educated on what items on their menu have gluten or the waitress was not actively listening. In the end, go, visit, enjoy a meal and you decide for yourself. It's very possible that immediately after the holidays, the crew was having an off day.

Food was excellent with generous portions the best part of our visit. I called ahead. I was told no wait list not busy. Twenty minutes later when we got there just after noon. 25 to 30 minute wait. The hostess offered a high top by the bar. Bartender will help you. After ten minutes of asking for a menu from the bartender and being ignored a couple customers nearby gave my granddaughter and I a menu to share. The bartender then said wait at the window to order. It maybe a while. I waited 10 minutes then called it. My seven year old granddaughter asked if we could get on the wait list. We did then went to Menchies to start with dessert. Menchies was five stars all around. Came back the hostess said I just texted you. A lie she texted me five minutes after we sat down. The bartender also had said the hostess should've given you a menu. Not my concern. Paulina our waitress was good. Her only flaw was getting our bill to us. Myself and a nearby table had to ask for our bills. Another wait staff got them for both of us. Paulina did ring us out 10 minutes later after she got all the drinks for a table of ten. So yes mediocre at best service and Paulina pulled you all from a 1 star to a three star. Insist that they put you on a wait list prior to arrival. Management should talk to the hostesses and bartenders to up their customer service. You never know if that deaf Nana does Google reviews. 1.1million views on my reviews!!!! Table side guacamole quality is highly dependent on the server’s attention to detail. (Luck of the draw.) Skirt steak plate was fantastic. Wait time was extended as the hostess didn’t communicate or write down our names to the other staff person at the welcome ‘desk’. Overall experience could be worse, but with a few operational tweaks could be a lot better.

I went to Rocco’s a month ago! Had a nice experience. Service was not impressive, but was adequate. The wet shrimp burrito? One of the best of my life. Huge. Hot. Flavorful. Creamy. We were dripped on by a leak in the ceiling all dinner, but the burrito made up for it. We went back, yesterday, ordered two drinks, the Rocco mango marg and the Mexican mule. Both ratio’s were off, both almost too sour to consume. Chile Rellano, fabulous. Cheesy. Hot. A must order. We re ordered the shrimp wet burrito. What a mistake :( It took 26 minutes to come out, and when it did, entire inside contents cold. 4 shrimps. I’ve perused the reviews, and it seems this establishment has an issue with its food retaining temp. A less than exciting experience round 2 overall from top to bottom.

Highly fatty meat tacos. My friends bowl $27 and not even 1/2 full. And honestly hands down the worst margarita I have ever had! We sent back because we ordered skinny but it came back to us looking full of sour mix and tasting like pure lime. Was worse the second time. I came here before and had a watermelon marg and skinny marg which were yummy. Food underwhelming but thought I would try again. Three strikes I’m done sadly. 😕 server is a doll, very sweet!
