Excellent service (thank you Michael), fantastic mixologist making drinks, and a nice selection of seafood and steaks. Dress was business casual and the open restaurant does a nice job of controlling the noise. Great for families or date night and a good size bar. We sat in the restaurant main room. Reservations a must. Valet parking $10 (as of Feb 2026).

Omg this place is so beautiful and the service is 10/10! We came here with our family in late July, for my husband and I’s engagement dinner & had such an incredible time. The table was covered with rose petals and a heart and confetti, our server really let us enjoy ourselves and keep the drinks flowing especially for my husband and I! I loved the presentation of the black orchid, it was so gorgeous. Every single drink was perfect, and my husband’s drink was always chilled, and his soda was always refreshed without asking! Food was also super tasty, our grandma loved the fresh and warm bread, and my family is a big fan of the deviled eggs. My family loved their lobster & pasta, & steak and I got the sushi, which was pretty good but the rice was a bit firm and the roll fell apart after half way through but was still yummy. I thought the restaurant was beautiful and was pleased with the service as well as thought the bathrooms were very luxe and clean. The overall atmosphere, ambience & architectural design of the restaurant it’s probably one of my favorite parts about this place and I’d highly recommend.

A stunning spot for a fancy night out with a very lively, sophisticated vibe. The cocktails are fantastic, and the sushi was fresh and delicious. The broccoli was also very good, surprisingly one of the better sides we had! The steak was good, but felt just a tad underwhelming for the price point. The calamari was decent, but didn't quite meet the expectations compared to everything else. Service was amazing! Everyone was super helpful throughout the meal. Well done Ocean Prime!

If I could I would give Ocean Prime 10 stars. We just celebrated last night, Jan. 14, 2026, Mom’s 75th birthday and everyone Samantha our waitress, all the staff, and especially Anastasia Callender, amazing Sales & Events Manager, who arranged everything via email and made this special night so easy to set up and even offered to put a special message on the menus for Mom and to put a Happy Birthday note and candle on their signature warm butter cake. Everything was delicious, my family had a wonderful time and loved the food. We loved the private room called St. Armands. And the staff was so accommodating by lowering the radio so we could hear each other and catch up. It was especially touching the surprise gifts that Anastasia left for both my Mom and I. Everyone, especially my Mom, had a wonderful time and that is the best gift of all. Thank you to everyone at Ocean Prime Sarasota for creating an incredible dining experience and making Mom’s 75th birthday so special.

Recently dined at this location 3 weeks ago. This is by far the best restaurant in Sarasota at this time. The valet parking staff was excellent. The hostess made us feel very welcome. This was followed by some of the friendliest bartenders I have had the pleasure of conversating with in a while. The martini was 90 percent full and absolutely delicious. They also have a huge bar on the second floor. Combine that with indoor and outdoor dining and you have a very nice restaurant. Our waitress was both professional and friendly. One of the martinis was a little short and she corrected it without me even asking. The chef should be very proud of his presentations and delicious food. The Chilean Seabass was absolutely perfect. The deviled eggs were visually amazing and delicious. The Ahi Tuna was also visually appealing and just plain yummy. I've dined at a lot of fine restaurants but this one is special. I know where I will spend my Valentine.

The food presentation was beautiful! The foods were tasty. The service was excellent. Victoria was our server & she was great! We celebrated a 21st birthday for a family member. It's very pricey. But, it's totally a memorable experience!

My husband took me here on a date night and it was such an amazing experience. We started out with a bread basket with whipped butter that was wonderful. I love the assortment they give you (the pretzel was my favorite). To drink, I order this blackberry cocktail, unfortunately I can’t remember the name. It was very sweet but soooo good. I ordered the grouper, which was served with gnocchi and lobster and my husband order the triple tail served with lobster, carrots, and mashed potatoes (this was a special). Both of our meals were delicious, we were going to share but loved them too much to spare the extra bites. For sides we shared with au gratin potatoes (these were to die for) and brussel sprouts. Then to top it all off we got the Chocolate torte with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert. Everything we had was made to perfection. And to make our experience even better our server, Amanda, was so kind and made sure we always had everything we needed.

Beautiful dining room, excellent food, hand crafted cocktails with fresh ingredients, homemade desserts the buttercake and peanut butter pie are a favorite. Our server Nick was excellent. Truly a 5 star dining experience
