From the moment we walked in, the experience was perfection. The warm welcome, elegant decor, and subtle lighting set the tone. Every dish was a masterpiece beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The signature dessert was pure art. Service was impeccable attentive without being intrusive, with thoughtful wine pairings that elevated the meal. Even the smallest details, from the fresh bread to the delicate garnish, showed care and passion. Dining here feels like being treated to a performance of culinary excellence. Absolutely worth every penny this is fine dining at its very best.

Amazing food, the dips were delicious and the meat was tender and cooked to perfection. We had a warm and welcoming experience. Diamond was the start of the show. She was extremely accommodating and went out of her way to ensure we had a fantastic time. Highly recommend

Myself my son came for lunch today. And all I can say is WOW !!!! The food was absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD. We had all our dishes turn up at once. The octopus was insane , helim cheese was perfect , and those chicken livers OMG !!!! And the Mixed Grills COOKED to perfection the flavor is simply off the charts. Our server Edith was adorable and the other young lady serving was excellent!! Cant wait return Dan & Joe xx

After some retail therapy at Freeport, Braintree, I decided to try Hasturk. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the beautiful décor, warm colours, stylish details, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. When my food arrived, it was presented like a work of art on a sleek oblong plate. The salad was fresh, vibrant, and generous, thinly sliced onions, grilled onions, and a wonderfully smoky long Turkish pepper, grated beetroot, lettuce and carrot. My main, the chargrilled salmon, was cooked to absolute perfection – tender, flaky, and full of flavour. Every bite was a reminder of just how good fresh, well-prepared food can be. I can honestly say it’s the best Turkish food I’ve ever had, bursting with flavour, beautifully balanced, and clearly made with love. The service was friendly and attentive. My compliments to the chef, they truly know their craft. I will most definitely be going back! ♡ I’ve edited my review after visiting again and once more, I wasn’t disappointed! Edyta was a fantastic server, polite and attentive throughout. The food was delicious and even though it was a busy Saturday night it didnt feel too noisy or cramped. Would definitely recommend.

It's a very nice place, for couples, families, friends, etc. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and portioned. My partner and I will definitely visit again. Edyta and Hollie were amazing. We had a wonderful time and we enjoyed our dinner.

We came for some food and drinks. Really nice atmosphere, Hollie and Edyta provided great trough out service and then the food came... WOW large portions of juicy meats, best lamb shish i have tasted in a long time!

Great meal for me and my family. Edyta was a fantastic waitress. She is always so polite, helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a sharing platter that included mixed started and mixed meat main for an extremely well valued price. We also enjoyed a few two for one cocktails too

What a lovely experience dining here. The menu is huge with loads of options for everyone! Meat tastes so good, grilled with real fire. Would definitely recommend the chicken Sarma beyti. Service was incredible. I was served by the lovely Hollie who was very knowledgable and attentive.

First time visit today and omg our meals were delicious. The staff were attentive and helpful and even though there were not many customers it still had a warm and friendlyatmosphere. The esme salad kick was spicy and quite addictive, that a second serving was brought to us! I could have easily just had that and bread for lunch by itself. So when my meal arrived: the soy sauce chicken was dark, rich and really tasty. The salads that accompanied it was just too much because of all the bread we'd eaten. Definitely worth another visit, just wish they were local to us! Note to self ... next time dont be tempted by 2nd portion of bread 🤭 Well done to the chef and all the staff.🌟

Myself, husband and son have eaten here today. We were served by the lovely Hollie! Hollie was kind and understanding, let us move to a booth as my son really wanted to sit there as opposed to the table given to us. The food was great as was the atmosphere. We had dinner for three at Hasturk and had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and the portions were generous. Our waitress Viktoria was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome throughout the meal. Great atmosphere and great value. We’ll definitely be coming back.

We come here all the time and it never disappoints. Every time we have come the food has been amazing, service is quick and all staff are very friendly and attentive. Tonight we had Hollie as our waitress and she was very bubbly and came over enough times to ask if everything was okay too. 10/10 we love coming here.

This is myn and my partners favourite restaurant. The services is always outstanding. Our waiter was Tyler, from the Braintree branch. He was attentive, helpful and excellent at his job. Although the atmosphere was quiter due to it being during the week. It is always a delightful and lovely experience whenever we go. The food is great with huge portions. Would definitely recommend, as somewhere new to try. Its my partners birthday today and they have made it very special for him and offer him free ice-cream and a birthday song.

19th July 25 4 of us from our dining group went out for lunch. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was good, portions are large so we took boxes home!

I had an outstanding experience thanks to our server, Edyta. From the moment we were seated, she was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. Edyta anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and offered thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be perfect. Her friendly personality and professionalism created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere that truly elevated the entire meal. Restaurants are lucky to have someone like Edyta on their team—she made our visit memorable, and we’ll definitely be returning because of her exceptional service.

We visited Hasturk Restaurant recently and overall the experience was mixed. The food was relatively good, but not without its issues. I ordered the Chicken Shish Iskender. Unfortunately, the chicken felt more boiled than grilled — it lacked that distinct charred, smoky flavour you would expect from a grill dish. A bit more caramelisation and grill aroma would have made a noticeable difference. The tomato sauce served with it was quite underwhelming, with very little depth or seasoning. The Garlic King Prawns were decent and enjoyable, though nothing particularly memorable. On a positive note, the baklava was very good and clearly a strong point. Service was generally okay, but there were small lapses. We ordered water, which didn’t arrive, and had to order it again a few minutes later. That said, Tom stepped in and genuinely improved the experience. He was very friendly, attentive, answered all our questions, and gave helpful recommendations. His professionalism and attitude really stood out and helped resolve the confusion. In summary, Hasturk has potential, with good desserts and moments of solid service, but some dishes would benefit from more attention to flavour and execution — especially when they are meant to highlight traditional grilled cooking.

The fare, drawn from the sun-kissed traditions of the Mediterranean, was executed with admirable precision. Each dish arrived as though thoughtfully composed, marrying freshness with subtle complexity. The olive oil was of noble quality, the herbs fragrant and lively, and the vegetables bore unmistakable evidence of careful selection. One could almost imagine coastal breezes and distant markets infused into every course. Service from Maja + Viktoria

A poor experience, a stomach ache, and 4 left hungry. The best thing about this experience was the service. The staff were welcoming, amiable, and hospitable. The food however, whilst it came out in a quick manner, was not up to the same standard. The starter mix meze, was £21, consisting of hummus, calamari, cacik, halloumi fries and olives. There were only 3 calamari pieces and 3 halloumi fries, the rest was served on a bed of plain lettuce to essentially hide the small portion sizes - I do not believe this should have equated to over £10/£15. The burger was satisfactory, however cheese is an additional charge, and i estimate only about half a slice was actually used. We did not touch the fries, as they were cold. The bolognese was also left half eaten, due to a lack of flavour. Now the octopus, despite being over £20, was only two small pieces, and had a similar taste profile of a tuna sweetcorn sandwich. This was handed to someone else to finish as it was not enjoyable to eat whatsoever - not only was the portion that of a joke, but it was overcompensated for with half a plate of plain salad, and heaps of flavourless potatoes. The garlic and prawns was the worst out of the bunch, as it was drenched in oil. As in, rather than sauce, it was a genuine bowl filled with oil. The potatoes were drowning, oil still somehow dripping from them even when i attempted to dry each individual piece with a napkin. This was a shame as the flavours were quite well put together, but it unfortunately resulted in me feeling extremely sick after the meal as I have a sensitivity. To add on to this, the coke bottles were £10 each, smaller than standard size. I ordered a Pinot Grigio (750ml), however upon paying the bill, I realised I was only given 250ml. The service charge was £11, however I paid this as they were lovely. The bill came to a total of £125, which was not adequate or satisfying at all. And i would not dine here again. What a poor experience given this restaurant has one previous awards for their food. Perhaps they have become lenient with their quality due to this. .
