This restaurant is my husband and I love coming here for dinner. Christian has been our waiter a few times and always has great recommendations. We never leave disappointed.

Very good food, great service and ambience is chill. Full bar. Highly recommend

Great place to have lunch but can be in. The pricy side but worth it.

A large group of us showed up for dinner and they took great care of us.

Always perfect, need to up their dessert game. Homemade caramel cage is fantastic, but the Pana Cotta was dull and unimaginative and lacking any flavor.

Grilled pear salad is amazing. Fried calamari is great.

Went here for my anniversary dinner. LOVED the food. Our waitress was Margarita, she was very kind and so attentive to placing our order and refills. We did make a reservation beforehand, and our wait time was quite short as well. Expecting to take my mother in law here for her birthday in the near future!

The food was exceptional, The servers were attentive, and nice. Would have given a 5 except a pet peeve of mine is the table not being bussed. I literally had to demand the empty appetizer dishes to be removed. The main course came out and the table was still packed with empty appetizer dishes and plates.

Very nice restaurant. We came at Happy Hour and sat in the bar by the window. The fried calamari was great. They had my favorite beer on tap (Maui Wowie).

Excellent food and service! I had the beef dip sandwich with mixed veggies. The sandwich was very tasty and served with a great horseradish sauce. The veggies were lightly steamed and very fresh.

I had traveled all day. I did want a heavy meal. I ordered their grilled pear salad along with a cup of green chili chowder. I didn't miss the mark!!! The chowder was fantastic! Almost ordered a 2nd cup. Highly recommend. I can only imagine what their beef stroganoff would have been.

Better late than never?... I visited the Zephyr Grill & Bar back in July and I had an excellent experience but never got around to writing a review. ---- I came in looking for a place to work before a showing at The Delta theater nearby and, to the best of my abilities, I'll try to recall what I had. First up was a seasonal salad I had which blew me away; it was a cashew salad with an assortment of other veggies and ingredients, obviously, that I didn't even recognize but I do remember it tasting *different* than anything I had before and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Second thing I ordered was an alcoholic beverage, a cucumber margarita of sorts, that I finished up quick -- although I'm more of a vodka guy. All in all the food was great, service immaculate, and atmosphere calm. I look forward to visiting the Zephyr once again the next time I'm in Brentwood.

The food was great - started with multiple appetizers ( the calamari steak, Burrata and bruschetta, and the beef steak bites) that we shared amongst the party. I had the short rib sandwich which was delicious, and the portion size was big enough that I needed to take half of it to go. Service was friendly, and you could tell our server knew the menu. The restaurant was very nice, and the large party area was perfect for our work event.

Fabulous happy hour prices on food and drink. Found out about Wine Wednesdays when select wines are 50% off. We shared a great bottle of Wood Family chardonnay for $24.

My friend and I celebrated birthdays last month and had the best time! Grilled pear salad (a favorite!) was the best I’ve eaten there, added grilled shrimp for a delicious meal. Add a great Sauvignon blanc and it was perfect. We were happy to have excellent service but I was sad that the restaurant was so empty. We wanted to go again but this week we discovered they had a fire and are closed and under renovation. So glad they’re rebuilding…but so sad they won’t be open for lunch week days when they can reopen. I’m keeping Zephyr on my list and will return when they reopen!

We really enjoy Zephyr Grill, the food is always good, staff is always friendly & attentive. Not to mention supporting a locally owned & operated small business! #betterinbrentwood

What an incredible meal! The short rib dinner was amazing. It was so tender and the sauce was perfect!

This was my first visit to this Zephyr location but will not be my last! The restaurant atmosphere was lively but very conversation friendly. The drinks and food were fantastic! The Halibut and the Filet Medallions were delicious. Our server was friendly, prompt and professional. Prices are reasonable for what you get and for the overall experience.

We had dinner there two weeks ago with a large group and the food was excellent! The servers were very attentive and really took great care of us. This was my 4th time at Zephyrs and it’s always excellent. Everything is so delicious. The dessert, carrot cake was fabulous! It reminded me of the one my employees mom’s made who worked at a famous L.A. bakery and he would bring it to the office on special occasions. So glad Zephyrs is in Bentwood.

Best sit down, white table cloth, quite restaurant in Bwood. Great wine selections and fantastic food choices. Rotating seasonal menus with something different every time. Perfect for date night or a celebration.

Just ate there for the first time, 2 of us. Birthday celebration. Very very nice size servings at decent price. Cocktails; Gin Blitzen💛 Muddled srtawberry basil gin martini💛 Appetizers; Artichoke Heart & Gruyere Dip. 💛 Seared Ahi tuna.💛 Entrees; 21 Day dry age ribeye💛 Parmesan lemon sole. 💛 Staff was attentive and in good spirits. Waiter was knowledgeable attentive and nice, (apologies for forgetting your name... must have been the cocktails LOL). We were not in a hurry, and he didn't rush us which was really REALLY nice. Took a piece of pumpkin pie cheesecake for dessert with caramel and whipped cream home cuz we were full. Again very generous portion size , couldn't eat it all brought some of everything home. I only have two suggestions, one the mashed potatoes need to be a little bit softer and creamier but the flavor was good, and the sole, which was a little heavy on the panko, and in reality doesn't need it at all.. it did need more sauce, which needed more lemon and capers in it but the flavor was good the way it was, just needed more. I would like to do four and a half stars but it doesn't give me an option so I'm doing four for the food. Brought a beautiful scoop of vanilla ice cream with a candle in it for the birthday boy it was good ice cream. We will definitely be back. It was an extremely pleasant experience all the way around!💝 Merry Christmas 🎄

Cozy atmosphere and good service. We came during happy hour and had the Grilled Pear Salad (seasoned grilled pears | spiced pecans | arcadian field greens | crumbled bleu cheese | raspberry vinaigrette seared pear salad) and Artichoke Heart & Gruyere Dip (chopped artichoke hearts | gruyere cheese | parmesan | mozzarella | fire-roasted red pepper relish | crostinis which was delicious! We ordered the Pasta Piacere (fusilli pasta | gorgonzola sauce | petite filet mignon | sun dried tomatoes | gorgonzola crumble | drizzle of balsamic glaze) and the Parmesan Lemon Sole (wild dover sole | asiago | panko | lemon | fried capers | lemon butter | corn cilantro mashed potatoes | seasonal vegetables) which was ok, a little heavy on the panko, which is why I only gave 4 stars. We have eaten here several times and the food and service is always fantastic.

We went here after Mulberry picking. We were tired and hungry for non-sweet/savory food after all that mulberry picking (IYKYK) This place was perfect for a chill lunch/brunch. We had an omelet with veggies, a chicken sandwich, Shrimp Pasta and Tuna appetizer. Food was good. The portion size was good too. Staff was very friendly and service was quick. Loved the ambiance and overall vibes.

The gluten-free chocolate dessert was AMAZING 👏 Very large portion as well. Got there early enough for happy hour. Worth it if you are ok with well drinks, but good selection of wine and bubbly too. They must cater to an older crowd because the sides (veggies & mashed potatoes) were completely unseasoned and unsauced; bland and dry. I can do that at home... The short ribs were very tender though.

stakes are excellent.....taco's a bit dry.....and the potatoes Al gratin were delicious......and needed to be about twice the size.....over all delicious

We've eaten here several times, and have not had one bad meal or experience. Knock on wood that doesn't change. This place is a great addition to Brentwood. In the pic is their T-bone steak w/ potatoes au gratin. The steak was good, but the potatoes......give me seconds please!

Enjoyed a nice Lunch with my Wife and Father-in-Law. Service was Top Notch, Hayden took care of every need. My pasta entree couldve used a bit more of a kick, but was still good overall.

Fast and friendly service. I had the Short Rib Benedict, a small portion size for the price! It was tasty enough but, l don't think that I would order it again. My friend had the roast beef dip and it too was small like a slider size.

Mixed experience! 5⭐️for our server, ambiance, front end staff Our server was the bright shining star out of our entire late-lunch experience on a Sunday. 3⭐️for food Food was a hit or miss. Grilled pear salad was excellent, but it arrived only upon a reminder after the rest of the meal was served. Short-ribs with mashed potatoes was excellent, but they made a complete hash of the penne pasta with Cajun shrimp. The sauce used for penne was overpowering, and IMHO it would have been better to keep that sauce limited to the shrimps only. Appetizer of tenderloin tips missed the mark in terms of overdoing things, with too much sauce and greasy toasts. 0⭐️ for restroom facilities Restrooms were not clean, and more seriously, there was no hand soap, seat covers and toilet paper. Front staff may have taken care of at least part of that after being informed.

My wife and I had lunch there last Sunday. She ordered the Pear/Chicken Salad (delicious) and I had the 2 and 2 Brunch breakfast (2 eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes and toast). My eggs and sausage we hot, but the potatoes and toast were cold. I ate the eggs and a sausage and notified the waitress about the cold potatoes and eggs. She apologized for the that, spoke to her Manager and removed the charge from our bill. I've had bad luck with breakfast a Zephr's. Their Philly Cheesesteak sandwich is the best. The service is great. Our waitress was wonderful.

Zephyr used to be one of my favorite spots in Brentwood but sadly not anymore. We went for Valentine’s Day dinner the service was good but the food and presentation were awful , I ordered tenderloin medallions and my husband order the filet both medium rare they were both burnt (and I mean like charred) . It looked like they had been just thrown on the plate with a mess of veggies haphazardly piled underneath them. We barely ate any of it because it was so bad. At $42 and $49 a plate I expect a lot more. We ordered the flowerless chocolate cake for dessert and it was also awful like pudding instead of cake absolutely drowning in raspberry sauce. Very disappointing. The only saving grace was the cocktails give the bartender a raise they are The highlight of the place at this point . The service was good and attentive but when we pointed out that our meals were burnt all we got was, “I’ll let the kitchen know “. Sad to see the decline in quality at what used to be a go to spot for us. Especially with so few quality choices out here in the wood.

My husband and I had an initial great experience until we received 3 charges on our card for the same meal. We told the "manager" who advised me that she would contact the accountant and contact me the following Monday. No one contacted me and I explained there were 3 transactions charged for the same meal ( 2 charges were for the pre-tip bill and one charge was post-tp. I contacted them again after one of the pre-tip bills was refunded but the second one is still on our bill. I offered to show the bill so they know it was posted and not pending. I was advised to contact their Human resource department. I have had issues in the past with a double charge but nothing like this. I gave them ample time to look into this (original date of charges was October 10, 2025). This is a horrible way to conduct a business relationship with clients. My concern is this is happening to other people but also you know how they don't actually care about fixing their mistake. American Express is doing an investigation but my question is, if they know there is a pattern of double charging, why wouldn't they correct it? Only reason I can think of at this point is they knowingly conduct disreputable business practices. That to me is a lack of integrity and I can no longer support a business that conducted business in this way. I have attached the bill charges for that day and you can see how only 1/2 of the charges owed to me was refunded. By the way I offered to show the bill multiple times.

The vegan meatloaf was not good in my option...the place was very nice and the price was ok

Dreadful place. This is one of, if not the, most expensive restaurant in Brentwood - which by any standard is a restaurant desert. Have been here many times and have no idea why we were so foolish as to return with an out of town guest today. Haste and lack nearby alternatives is my only defense. Drinks were expensive, but good. The goodness ended there. Our waitress seemed intent on rushing us. The restaurant was not busy at all. After making our appetizer order, we specifically asked her if we should wait before ordering our entrees. We wanted to take our time. She insisted that ordering everything at once was the way to do it. She said she would "hold" the entree order. The appetizers and entrees came about 3 minutes apart. No explanation. No apology. The waitress then proceeded to disappear. She never took ownership of the problem, even in the presence of the manager, who tried to make amends. Whose fault did she think it could possibly be, other than her own? Interestingly, poor service - we never got our food at all after 90 minutes - was a problem at its sister restaurant, Smith's Landing in Antioch. Seems this organization is inherently poor at management and table service. Food was disappointing, even at half price. Tasteless is a recurrent theme. The tuna tartare appetizer, sole and meatloaf entrees were all pretty tasteless. The coconut shrimp appetizer and short rib entree were both fair-to-good, but not worth the price. Three drinks, two appetizers and three entrees were about $160. Crazy for this quality anywhere, but especially Brentwood. There is no reason to ever go here.

This place needs to be evaluated. I went to the bar right across from this restaurant and when i sat right outside this restaurant, i looked in the window and seen a RAT. It was running along the window seal INSIDE the restaurant. 🤢 I’m completely disgusted and would never go here.
