The Roscommon Room at Ocean Edge Resort

This was the perfect place for an anniversary dinner! The atmosphere, service, history, and location were incredible. But the food... PHENOMENAL. My husband had the duck and I had the brick chicken and we had calamari as an appetizer. We both agreed it was one of the most delicious meals we've ever had!

Natalie at Roscommon is a gem. Food was great, served quickly and she had great recommendations. Shrimp and grits and steak were fantastic. Thank you Natalie!

Near Michelin star service and cuisine. Hate to let the secret out on this but can’t stand to see it so underrated. Impeccable flavor palette and presentation. The most elegant atmosphere with roaring fires. Incredibly low priced for this kind of meal. Wow.

A very pleasant experience. Food was delicious. I made reservations for 8 people, but after the number rose to 9 and I was unable to reach the restaurant to let them know. They quickly and willingly adjusted the table to meet our needs. Our server was attentive and accommodated our request for separate checks!!

We first visited Ocean Edge over a year ago, and wandered into the Roscommon Room as we were walking around getting to know the place. We were greeted promptly and warmly by the staff there, and quickly made to feel comfortable and welcome. We have been made to feel that way during every one of our MANY visits since then. Ocean Edge in general, and the Roscommon Room in particular, have become our go to places for everything from special celebrations with family and friends to quiet alone time as a couple, and every other occasion in between. The staff and the atmosphere at Ocean Edge are the biggest draws for us, and the always delicious food and beverages are added delights. During our latest visit to the Roscommon Room our server Nate made our night. He was personable and attentive and focused on making our evening fun. He helped with menu selections when asked, and made sure to keep our drinks refreshed and glasses full. Speaking of drinks; Web (the bartender) knows his stuff. The Old Fashioned he made for me was perfectly done. He was friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome. We also made the acquaintance of Tracy, one of the managers there, who quickly became a new friend who checked on us repeatedly and tended the fire in the room for us during the night. And speaking of the fire; TJ, another Ocean Edge manager, built the fire up for us when we first came in and made sure it stayed going strong while he was there. He has been especially good to us in the past, and once made sure we received a book on the history of Ocean Edge when we expressed an interest in it. We closed the night out chatting with our friend Pete who handles security there and always takes a little time to talk with us Everyone there made sure we had a wonderful time, as always, and we cannot wait to go back! Good food. Not as outstanding as you’d expect for the price. Atmosphere is always lovely and enjoyable.

It's a classic place to dine but make plans to get something to eat after your small portion dinner. The portions were incredible small...the Irish Beef Stew was $36 for a cup size portion, the duck entree had a few little pieces of duck on top of a 3 inch square piece of cornbread for $36. These were more like appetizers than meals. The drinks were ok but pricey $15 / $10 beer. The pub downstairs is much better and more reasonably priced.
