First time visiting. Wish we didn’t wait so long. The 3 course special for $59.99 sparked our interest. Started with warm bread served with a delicious olive oil creation. Chose the eggplant rollatini and stuffed mushroom for appetizers. The sauce with rollatini was excellent. Stuffed mushroom was so flavorful. Caesar salad was so fresh. Dinners consisted of veal picatta and shrimp scampi. Pasta was cooked perfectly. We both thoroughly enjoyed them. Finished with cannolis which were awesome. Presentation in all the dishes were noticeably a special touch. Pics of appetizers shown. Service was perfect. Such a great dinner and will be returning. Also the historic building is charming and cozy.

Birthday celebrations at Villaggio’s was a huge success and so much fun thanks to our server Tim. The early bird dinner for two was a great incentive and the quality of the food, ambience and service did not disappoint. Highly recommend.

We were able to catch up with an old friend on our 12th Anniversary this evening. Our Server Tim took great care of us tonight just as he did on our first Anniversary dinner. He made our night special then and he has done it many times since when we are lucky enough to have our anniversary on a night he is working. He was there when we brought our 3 month old daughter in for our Anniversary when we were too nervous to leave her at home. He’s always a delight, and is one of the best at his craft. The food and wine selection has always been amazing! We have tried many different menu items, and have never been disappointed! Year after year we always leave incredibly impressed with our entire experience! We don’t go just on our anniversary, but it is truly a special night when we do!

We went with a party of 5 and a baby. High chairs were available, we arrived early as most negative reviews revolved around wait times. The server knew her stuff and my wife and cousin loved the recommended red wine. My dad loved the shrimp scampi, my pasta with clams was one of the better versions I’ve had of the dish. My wife loved the penne alla vodka. The food was fresh, everything including pasta and sauces was made from scratch. The clam chowder was just ok flavor wise but the consistency was perfect which is half the battle. A pretty expensive place but for legitimate from scratch Italian what do you expect especially on the cape. Would 100% go here again to try some of the fish and other items. My only complaint was the app they use is confusing and says you can cancel with 30 mins advance. The restaurant policy is you can only cancel 48 hours out otherwise it’s a 50$ per head fee. We almost had to cancel because half the group was stuck on cape traffic and we can’t usually do late dinners because of the baby. The app should be more clear that this restaurant has its own policy for cancellation times.

I had the Scarparanielis and it was really delicious. Creamy with just the perfect amount of heat. The banana peppers were cooked perfectly. My partner got the pancetta scallops. She did not see any pancetta but I'm sure it was in there somewhere. Would come back! Don't ever cut back on the quirky decor. And our waiter Tim was really quite magnificent and entertaining. Man we really love that guy.

We had a lovely late night dinner (around 9:20pm) last night. The woman who sat us was super nice and our waiter (Tim) was awesome. We started with their pork belly bites and they were unbelievable, our favorite appetizer so far. Will definitely be getting those again. For our mains we had the New York sirloin and the salmon. Both presented beautifully and tasted outstanding. Now let me tell you about the sides… the white Tuscan beans are a must - I get these every time and they are delicious. Mashed potatoes - delicious as well and they go great with any steak. Au gratin potatoes - my boyfriends favorite side, super tasty. Risotto - amazing. Then we got a piece of their tiramisu to go and ate it later that night - so good! Aside from last night, we usually order take out from here relatively often, and we have never been disappointed. Their filet mignon is out of this world, the taste is so unique and it melts in your mouth. Cooked medium rare to perfection every time. Compliments to the chef on the incredible food here. And the staff who is always friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name but the girl who usually greets me for take-out orders is so sweet and remembers us whenever we order. Thanks for being a reliable restaurant with phenomenal food and service! Best, Ashley

I have been coming here all my life, first their location on Main Street in Falmouth cafe villagio then their other location at the Falmouth inn, Landucci and now here in cotuit. Always loved this particular gnocchi dish, just amazing. I asked the owner if they would still make it even though it’s not in the menu and he gladly did. The owner is so hands on and it shows! Very good food. Great chicken tender appetizer and caprese salad , bread and cozy atmosphere.

- Food: They are known for Italian dishes and Steaks (hence the Prime). Tried the Filet Mignon, 8oz. Very tasty. It had almost a smoked flavor to it. All dishes seem to be crafted with detail - Drinks: Extensive drink menu including wines, beers, and cocktails - Atmosphere: Intimate setting. You will be close to others so it can be a bit awkward, but it is a nice setting.

I never expected an Italian restaurant to have such an incredible steak! Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked…..totally impressed. The service at the bar was also on point! We’ve been happy with this restaurant in general but tonight was exceptionally great!

OMG I'm so glad we decided to stop at the Villaggio for dinner! Cosy, intimate rooms, exceptional and friendly staff, and exquisitely prepared Italian dishes. I used to travel to Rome, Italy quite often for years and this brought back memories. If you're in the area and hungry, you won't be disappointed. You'll be leaving very full and saying moltobene!! Treat your significant other and your taste buds to a wonderful Italian meal. Ciao!

Over the past 2 weeks we’ve been to Villagio twice. Each time, we felt at home, we had delicious meals and left happier than when we went in. Kudos to all, especially our server Alexa and chef Anthony.

As a restraunt manager, and someone who has worked in the industry since I was 16, this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. My whole entire family feels the same way. Villagio Prime is one of the best fine dining venues on the cape. Our server Tim alone made the evening spectacular. I have never met someone so on top of their game. Every recommendation was spot on. His whit and humor had all of us laughing. Top sever in the state of Massachusetts. Now let’s get to the food. Appetizers of calamari, clams casino, and pork belly set the tone for a perfect meal. For entree’s I had the seafood Zingarella. A dish marinated in sambuca. Highly recommend. The rest of the table got panchetta scallops, shrimp scampi, and my mother wouldn’t shut up about the macadamia salmon. Most plates were wiped clean. If I had to refer a friend for a celebratory meal, Villagio Prime is my only choice. Best Mother’s Day dinner ever.

Incredible bar, and decor in charming former Shaker home. The food is amazing with very generous portions. Topped off with amazing service from the friendly staff. Chef Jay and his outstanding crew did an amazing job accommodating our French Society April dinner meeting yesterday. I can’t say enough about the food, the service and the cozy atmosphere.

First time here; hosted a small business dinner on a Monday and everything was just wonderful!! The setting and decor is cozy and elegant, service was perfect.. the food was phenomenal 💚. The menu is a perfect mix of traditional and elevated. All 9 of us enjoyed everything we ordered: calamari, rollatini, bruschetta apps.. chicken Parm, salmon, pasta dishes . I had the lobster ravioli and it was the best version I've ever had. I was enjoying myself so much, sadly I forgot to take photos. Will definitely be back next visit to the Cape.

The ambience is welcoming and unique, our server, Connor, was absolutely fantastic, and Chef J cooked delicious calamari and veal and chicken parmigiana, and the salad was great! The portions of the app, salad, and meals were amazing! Three of us shared the app and salad, and we all brought home leftovers of our parmigiana meals. The desserts were also delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a very nice time and enjoyed the food. Very large portions and love that we have leftovers. I think it being the end of the busy season and coming right at the start of dinner with 2 kids threw them off just a tad, but I look forward to trying this place again. Everyone enjoyed the food and it was very good Italian cuisine. Thank you to Emily for great service and patience with the little ones!

The atmosphere is rustic and very welcoming. It’s a cool mix of Italian and Old Cape Cod theme. The food was delicious. My girlfriend and I shared a chicken appetizer and we both loved it. I got the a spicy spaghetti and it was extremely good. I will definitely come back here. I highly recommend

We hosted a 75th birthday party for 11 people in a private room. The entire experience was exceptional. The food was delicious ( and we all had different meals). The service was excellent. We were concerned that we were too large a group for the restaurant but they did an amazing job. We would highly recommend them!!!

We had my mother’s 80th birthday at Villaggio Prime. It was an outstanding experience. We had 24 people and they could not have been more accommodating. They opened early for us and made us feel right at home. Typical with a group that large we had a few last minute changes, but it didn’t matter..everything was taken in stride. True professionals! Food was delicious. Everything was perfectly done. Appetizers and salads were excellent. Entrees were equally as delicious.portions are generous (everyone asked to take food home). The staff was friendly, accommodating, and eager to help. It was the icing on the cake. I would not host a dinner anywhere else. It was perfect and I could not recommend it highly enough!!

Dishes were creative and flavorful. Large portions too. Beautiful old colonial home converted into the restaurant, so many different dining rooms suitable for private parties like ours. Cozy, yet not cramped. Our waitress was efficient but could have been a bit more friendly...it might have been a bad day for her, so giving a benefit of the doubt.

Great food but very slow service. Went for Thanksgiving- late afternoon. Full menu plus turkey special for $59.99. Each of us had an app & main course. Bill was well over $100.

We went to this establishment on Valentines Day, and we were very impressed with the greeting we received, the atmosphere, and the food, which was excellent. It was unfortunate that our server was a bit overwhelmed, and it detracts from the whole experience, but this establishment is run well, and we will certainly be back

Good meal, as usual. Menu had changed, and the prices have increased a bit. Our server was rather slow, but pleasant. Ambiance was lovely, very festive. Really enjoyed the ricotta pistachio cake for dessert!

What I like about this restaurant is it's quiet! You can hold a conversation with the person across from you. So refreshing.

We've been coming back year after year, hoping that the atmosphere will match the food. Tonight it proved the same. It Is such a great vibe and the bartenders are always amazing. The oysters were delightful, as were the Chicken wings. However, the bolognese, it was definitely not my nanas. The pasta was cold and the Bolognese was dense. When we sent it back, we were told that we had to pay for it, which is fine because it wasn't that expensive. But then we asked him how we made it, and he said, he chopped up his meatballs and add it to the sauce. I'm old school, northern italian, and that is not how you do it. Bolognese requires a slow simmer with the essential vegetables. A meatball is made with eggs and breadcrumbs and has no place in a bolognese. Such a disappointment. Update... At no point did we request a refund. Neither while we were there, or in my review. That you have needed to come from you in acknowledgment, that the dish was it sub par. I still stand by my strong italian heritage that a bolognese is not made with meatballs. That is truly a shortcut american preparation. Not something I would expect from a place that is considered italian. Consider going old school slow simmer.

When we arrived for dinner the hostess seemed overwhelmed and not as friendly as a hostess should be, Cocktails were great as was our entrees with huge portions. Went to the bathroom only to find no running water to wash hands! Really? Isn’t this illegal? They actually had a spray bottle to use instead of water from the sink…. Not good, actually disgusting!! What is the staff using to wash their hands. Not acceptable in a restaurant of this quality. Overall food was great but disappointed with the lack of proper bathroom facilities.

I wanted to like Villaggio and open to possibility we had an off night. The service was incredibly slow and borderline rude. The waiter never looked you in the eye, wasn't personable and stomped around the rooms in an unsettling manor. Maybe shortstaffed and he was training another waitstaff but rather odd behavior. I'd be willing to try it again in the tavern area. The owner was extremely gracious and showed he really cared !

We have eaten at Villaggio's many times and have always had a wonderful experience with the staff & the food was delicious. We chose to have our Thanksgiving dinner wanting to have a "special" night and feeling thankful for all we have. Unfortunately, the night went from bad to worse with Tim as our waiter. When I first walked in for our 6pm sitting, Tim was at the computer yelling at the hostess about a 5 top that was sat at the wrong table. After yelling at the poor woman he stormed up and down the stairs not hiding his anger one bit. We had the misfortune of being led to our table, and quickly realized, he was going to be our server. He was rude, sarcastic, and downright abusive to other staff members, which you could see written all over their faces. Our table was mortified at his toddler behavior & I ended up pulling a couple of staff aside to thank them for what they brought to the evening. Shame on the owners for not paying closer attention to this bad behavior. Things were clearly not going right this night, but you don't let every customer in the house know you're having a bad night. I had heard someone say that a couple staff members had walked out that night, and I could guess what the reason was. If it wasn't Thanksgiving night with our family all together, we would have walked out too. The food was so so, definitely not the quality we are used to getting from there, especially with the prices being jacked up for Thanksgiving. The turkey dinner was $60 and it was a plate full of shredded meat, which was weird. The mashed potatoes were over whipped which made them pasty, and barely any gravy. It took an hour before we were sat and asked for a drink order. At that point we asked Tim if we could order our meal at the same time, and he literally yelled at us that he has people ahead of us and no we couldn't order. Once he decided he had time to take our order my wife asked if now would be a good time to place another drink order, at which point he sarcastically answered, "Well my dear, you can have whatever you want. You're the customer". Please, spare me the sarcasm. We tipped him above and beyond, as it was Thanksgiving and we're not those people, but we will never be back. It's sad how many times we've been asked how our Thanksgiving was, and how uncomfortable it is have to rehash the experience. I waited to write this review because I didn't want to write it in the moment of my disgust, and when I went to read other reviews I see Tim actually has some good ones. I'll never know if they were the one off, or we were.

Good food ruined by painfully slow service. The food here is actually quite good, but the service was a major disappointment. We were a party of four (two couples) and the experience dragged on for nearly three hours. It took 20 minutes just to get our first round of drinks, and the pacing never improved from there. It’s a shame that the kitchen is doing a good job while the front of the house is so disorganized. Unless you have all night to wait, I can’t recommend it.

Last week was visiting family on the cape and decided to get quick dinner. Ordered on Doordash, was notified the food was ready, proceeded inside. Ended up waiting close to 30 minutes or so for the order to actually be completed. Staff were rude, pretend they didn't see you, and when asked the response was "whenever it's going to be ready" Will be avoiding the place during future visiting to the cape. Food. Chicken parm, portion was great and had great flavor. Sauce very watery.

Absolutely terrible. everything about it.. wish I could give a zero… from the greeting, the waitress(major attitude),the dirty glasses, the dry, hard microwaved bread that we sent back only to get more dry hard bread(waitress warned us that you have to eat quickly or it will get hard🤯) the random decor of hearts from Valentine’s Day 2wks ago and old dusty fake flowers… the blaring obnoxious random music. “no specials” “barely any wine”. Spent $6 on a side of asparagus..there were 6 of the smallest asparagus I’ve ever seen and inedible. Not sure what happened to this place because it used to be great. Maybe they are going out of business?? Probably the worst restaurant experience we have ever had and we will never go back!

I have to say first off, its probably not a good idea to serve these type of entrees, appetizers, and other menu items take out. I understand with the health concerns around us, this is the only option at this time. If I wanted take out though, I wouldn't go here for it...It seems the restaurant still need to work out the efficiency of doing take out without jeopardizing the quality of the food during the process...This can be very difficult for a fine dining upscale restaurant and menu...I know because I worked at the Chatham Bars Inn Resort and Boston Park Plaza Hotel while I was getting my second Bachelors degree from UMass Boston in Hotel / Restaurant Management... Chef J, I have had the seafood diavlo from your place a few times now, but always dined in doing so and it was delicious ! On the contrary, yesterday I ordered some take out for my 50th birthday and explained to the server Jenna taking the order, it was a special occasion. So I get to the restaurant, and my order has already been sitting at the bar Jenna, the server who took my order, was on the phone for almost 15 minutes dealing with a customer who was not happy at all ! So another server finally comes from the back, only to circle around Jenna and find out what is the issue she is having on the phone...Meanwhile, I'm just standing there like Forrest Gump waiting for a box of chocolates and everyone is just walking by me...I knew right then judging by the initial customer service it was not going be a good night, and was very close to just leaving...So I get home and notice whoever packed up this order, put both of the cold appetizers Caprese and Anti-pasta on top of the hot Diavlo entree without anything in between. So why not just take the time to put the cold appetizers in a seperate bag ? One would think, isn't that the more practical and intelligent way to pack a take out order...I guess not because by the time I got home, the cheeses from the antipasta & mozzarella on the Caprese were practically melted as a result. The Diavlo was worse having a minimal amount of seafood, a huge lump of shoe string potatoe strings which melted into another ingredient in the pasta. There was a huge pile of angel hair pasta with barely anything in it ! Also, there were so many calamatta olives in the sauce, they totally dominated the sauce so bad that I could only taste olives period ! For the price this restaurant is charging for this entree, this meal was a total joke ! I'm disappointed because this was one of my favorite entrees and now I'm cautious to even order it again...I did talk to Chef J on the phone and he was nice enough to offer to remake my order or try another day so I appreciate his cander in the matter, but it was my 50th birthday people ! Cmon you can do better than that ! Impress me to come back...Just saying get it together

Let me first say the food here can be fantastic as in the past I have had good food here, even cannolis from Mike's Pastries, but not any more. We booked a reservation on OpenTable and had to put down a nonrefundable $25 deposit to do so. It was Saturday after the 4th of July so we knew it would be busy but had no idea we were about to have the worst experience at a restaurant we have ever had. Our reservation was at 7, we had no water on the table, missing drink menus, missing have the menus and we were not able to order until 7:30. I kept track of the time because my wife has gestational diabetes and needs to test her blood sugars so I took note of the times regularly throughout the nite. When we noticed it was after 8 we checked with the waitress to see where our order was. At 8:17 the only update was it was coming. My wife then asked again at 8:23 because her blood sugar was dropping and needed to eat. At 8:27 a second waiter came up to explain it was coming and that they were short staffed and that everyone "came in at once". Now mind you this restaurant is usually reservation only and that there were six empty tables near us, but we fully understood that a holiday weekend would be busy and just wanted food for my wife. Any normal restaurant would offer us a free app or a round of drinks at this point but all the offered was excuses which is ridiculous for a restaurant that made at least $250 in profits off from our party of 8. At 8:37 we asked again and at this point the exchange became rather heated with the host staff as they begrudgingly gave us more excuses about our order. Fortunately our waitress, who was new, worked really hard to get my wife food and ran down the stairs to get her food to her which she received at 8:47. I was the last of the 8 served and my meal came in at 9:01 (we sat down about 4 mins to 7 pm for our reservation). As you can see from my picture my meal looked like someone threw up on my plate and it didn't taste much better. It was a special, a veal Tuscany, the artichokes were not cooked properly. The veal was tough (for veal) and under seasoned and the sauce was so tart i thought the added vinegar to it. Everyone else's meals tasted good but the night wasn't over. Before we had started we asked if it was ok to split the checks which they said it was but that was obvious at the end of the night as we were waiting more than 20 mins for our check. I finally had to go in and find the wait staff and tell them to just charge it all on my card. As we were leaving the restaurant the hostess decided it would be a good idea to double flip off my father in law as he exited the building, unfortunately we saw this which caused another angry confrontation. We left the restaurant at 9:54, almost 3 hours after we got there and we spent a whopping 20 mins of that time actually eating any food. I have ate at thousands of restaurants around the world. I have had a few bad experiences, in most cases it was either a waiter on a bad day or poorly cooked food, but I have never experienced such a terrible experience in my life especially from a restaurant that charges $30-$100 for an entree. I highly recommend that you do not go to this restaurant ever and tell all your friends to avoid it as well. The staff that caused this issue has been there since it was a different restaurant and there is no front of the house management.

Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. One of our guests sat without a meal, after everyone else got their food which took over an hour after we ordered to come. Multiple incorrect charges on our bill. Cold appetizers, over cooked scallops. Had to ask for refills and drinks 3 times. Wine glass came cracked. Very understaffed and over booked. our guest is sitting without dinner, and nobody even comes to the table to let us know what is going on, where could the manager be? You would think in a restaurant as nice as this one seemed, the customer service would be allot better. we had to go downstairs and find a manager to speak with after 20 minutes and nothing. The manager was difficult to deal with, offered to take 50$ off the bill and thinks that was appropriate. And in the end told us we should be grateful that she even offered that. Meanwhile two entrees were untouched because they weren’t good, and one never came. Multiple wine charges when we only ordered one glass. A couple next to us had a problem as well with their dinner and the manager had the audacity after this horrible experience to tell us they’re only complaining now because of our negativity! I could go on and on about this experience but will definitely never eat there again.

J
John Alvarez

Steak was good just no frills like sauces. Service was very slow. Entire dining room section we ate in had dirty tables the entire time. Out of the wine we wanted and no cocktail options due to no bartender on staff. When we arrived we stood in a small hallway with several others wondering when we would be greeted. Bad experience. Management didn’t seem to care one bit!!

Horrible food, horrible service, an owner who screams at customers instead of taking accountability. McDonald’s is better.

H
Hawley Nordman

EDIT TO ADD - the chef/owner is a liar. He screamed at me over the phone, called me a pos and hung up the phone on me. All of which I have documented for OpenTable, and the Attorney General. He claims to have had 180 people coming for dinner, despite max capacity of his building being 146 people. He claims we could have left a cash tip when we were told specifically by the server that we had to fill out the cc slip tip portion prior to running, cash was not accepted. He claims that forcing customers to fill out the tip portion prior to running the credit card is because he chose to give his servers their tips at the end of day… Despite it being Massachusetts law that servers take their tips home same day. If you look past all of the dishonest five star reviews that are made from disposable accounts, you will see that our experience was very consistent with the service provided at Villagio. As a matter of fact, there is a review from someone who went there for Christmas 2024, who had almost the exact same experience as us. Go to McDonald’s, the food will be better, and the service will be much better!!!!!!!! Went to a buffet that was 135 dollars PER PERSON. Our server attempted to rush us out after one plate of food. We were served warm and melted desserts, had to listen to the host and waitress argue over seating more people in the room (was told that was okay by the owner because apparently they are dating) and then the waitress forces us to fill out the tip portion prior to her running the credit card. It was very uncomfortable and inappropriate, and other tables had not been asked to do that. The owner claims this is policy despite being potentially illegal as he has to provide them with all tips earned by end of day. When I left a review with opentable, the owner called me and left two very aggressive voicemail messages. When I called back, he screamed at me and hung up on me. I would recommend going anywhere else!!

h
hawlene kozminski

Edit to add: I left the same review on open table, which is where we booked the reservation. I received two very aggressive very scary voicemail messages from the apparent chef/owner. I called back today to ask if it truly was policy to have all of your patrons fill out the tip prior to a card being run for the total of the bill. He screamed at me, and hung up on me. We went for the Christmas buffet. It was $135 PER PERSON. Our server tried to give us dessert after one plate. When we told her we wanted to get another plate, she took our dirty ones and never gave us fresh plates (there were none at the buffet) and we had to take plates off of another table. Our server was inattentive, argued with the host about taking more customers in the completely empty room we were seated in, and ignoring the table in the room behind us who had coats on when we got there and waited over 30 minutes for her to bring their credit card back. According to the “chef” who replied to my open table review, the host and server are dating and “he talked to her the way I talk to my wife” which is completely ridiculous and a huge assumption to make. I guess he must be mean to his wife so he thinks it’s normal. Dating or not, the behavior was inappropriate and made us extremely uncomfortable. Our server brought over desserts on a tray she had been showing all night…when we picked she gave them to us straight off the tray, otherwise she “would have had to go down to the bar to get more.” The desserts were warm and melted. Mine was supposed to be lemon jello I believe, it was completely liquid. We asked for the check when we picked desserts. Twenty minutes after giving us warm and melted desserts, she finally brought our check. She requested that we fill out the tip portion prior to her running it. Very weird, awkward and UNCOMFORTABLE. It felt like she was holding our tip ransom, if we had given her the 20 dollars that we wanted to (which still would have been extremely generous for the service provided) that we would be stuck there just like the other table - their tip must have not been enough. The “chef” who responded to my review claimed that it says on the bottom of the check that tips go directly into the bank account of the server. Why he thinks that is appropriate to put on a check, or has anything to do with asking your customers to fill out a tip prior, I have no idea. I have worked in many restaurants in Mass and other states, and never have I had tips go into my bank account OR asked customers to fill out their tip prior to running the card. There is something very suspicious about that. Especially because it was to “save time” according to the chef, but the POS machine was literally five steps away from us. And the other table waited over 30 minutes to get theirs back, so it’s clearly not policy. The fact that instead of a phone call or an apology, I got a nasty note about how their workers are dating so it’s okay to make customers uncomfortable, and that it’s policy to have tips filled out prior despite that not happening to all tables, shows exactly what kind of people run this restaurant. I would be MORTIFIED to know my employees acted that way, and I would certainly not defend it. I would recommend going to McDonald’s over Villagio Prime. The food and service will both be better, and that’s really saying something.

DO NOT GO HERE ! We went here for the Christmas buffet and I wish we’d never gone ! $135 per person for cold food, a cold restaurant where I had to keep my coat on to eat and the staff were incredibly rude! When we brought up our grievances we were told they were running off a generator and had no electricity, that they had to choose what to run on the generator. The manager was rude, not even offering us a refund, instead telling us how much he hated the place and was going to find a new job. We’ve had similar things said to us by previous staff on previous visits! When we later talked with the owner, we were met with hostility and aggressive behavior, no remorse or apology were given to us, instead the owner was argumentative and rude regarding how our meal went and our concerns, not offering any refund. Would not recommend anyone ever dining here.

Probably one of the worst dining experience in a long time. It was my daughter’s 16th birthday. I wrote in the reservation about the special date. I called on the same day to organize a small dessert for us to sing happy birthday to her. We get there - first they do t find our reservation and one of the waitress was very rude. I was showing our reservation in the app and she just we don’t have you. They still found a place as the restaurant was relatively empty. We ordered a bruschetta and burrata beets salad as appetizers. The salad came first and it was a rucula salad with some beets and 1 1/2 of mozzarella slices - no burrata. The waitress just said - this is the salad we have. The bruschetta came 20 min later with tomato and the same mozzarella slices from the salad. Not your traditional bruschetta. We ordered our mains and 2/3 of the dishes they were out. No fettuccine, no melanzane! This is their star dish! I was speechless. The table next to us ordered their mainland they also got the same bad luck - several items they were out, no broccoli or one of the beef dishes they wanted. The guest even said - do you have anything here tonight… which made me laugh. We asked for the check and waited for my daughter’s dessert. She brought the check, gave my daughter’s happy birthday and no word on the dessert we had ordered before hand. Since it was supposed to be a surprise, I didn’t say anything and very disappointed I just left. I will never come back but want to make sure nobody else gets their special evening spoiled due to lack of kitchen planning and poor service.

So much potential but unfortunately this is not a restaurant that should still be in business and I’m very surprised has the positive reviews that it has. We were a party of 4 for Christmas Day dinner that was a prefix menu. I’ve dined at various high-end establishments all over the country and internationally and this restaurant has no business charging the prices it does for the level of service and quality of food we received. I understand that it was a holiday but that is not an excuse to lock customers into a prefix menu and then not have available all items on that menu, especially wine and beer selections which should be ordered and stocked well in advance. From the beginning of our experience we had a hunch the experience wasn’t going to be great. We weren’t greeted as we arrived (which seems small) but for a $125 per person price tag this a small but important touch to welcome your guests and thank them for dining during the holidays. We sat down and were looking forward to ordering the only Italian red wine on their menu (with this being an Italian restaurant that’s a bit surprising) but unfortunately our waitress returned to our table 20 minutes after ordering to let us know that they didn’t have anymore bottles of that wine. I’d like to note we had a 4pm reservations and there were multiple hours of existing reservations so this is a sign that whoever did the ordering had no clue what they were doing. (Additionally we overheard that cocktails were not an option because they didn’t have a bartender) It was a Christmas dinner where everyone had to have prepaid to dine. There should have been zero surprises on what to expect. Additionally as we continued to order we were told other sides were unavailable which was a big bummer for such an already limited selection given its prefix… As we continued to dine we noticed others tables having similar experiences and one table ended up getting up and leaving in its entirety. I was constantly hearing the poor wait staff having to tell customers sorry or that they were out of something. It’s a terrible position to put your front line staff in and they were doing everything they could to keep customers happy. Paying $125 a head for such a terrible experience is completely unacceptable. It’s clear management needs to be completely refreshed as there is no passion or interest in properly running a restaurant. A few other notes are that we had to ask multiple times to get bread at the table, the mashed potatoes had absolutely no flavor or seasoning, the stuffed mushrooms were obviously precooked and weren’t even warm when served, and multiple people received cold steak. What’s truly unfortunate is that because we had prepaid there was no opportunity for us to change our minds or go somewhere else. We already spent $500 for a party of 4 and were stuck with this extremely lack luster experience. It truly felt like we were being robbed while being served mediocre food and feeling like an inconvenience to the staff. An absolutely terrible experience and I’d never recommend going to anyone. We would have had a better experience at Olive Garden. Additionally, at the end we received a check including 20% minimum gratuity which added an additional $145ish dollars to our bill. Totaling close to almost $650 for 4 people to dine and receive some of the worst food and terrible experience we’ve ever had. EVER. I’m not understating how bad this was. People work hard for their money and it’s a shame to provide such a laughable experience for people trying to celebrating the holidays with their family. Such a shame.

We decided to try the restaurant again for Valentine's Day. First of all, there was a weight line going in the door and we stood there for probably 20 minutes before we saw the host and she didn't even acknowledge us and look flustered it would disappear and we saw her again maybe 10 minutes later meanwhile we're all standing in a line. Nobody knew what was going on. Eventually, we were seated upstairs where we sat again for 20 minutes. We did see the way to come in once and deliver a check and he didn't even acknowledge us or say you know I'll be with you soon. We're a little busy tonight. Nothing we did see the bus person once or twice with silverware in his hands, looking like he was lost. We didn't have water. We sat for probably another 20 minutes and decided to leave. It was awful The parking lot was full. I understand they were busy, but it just looked like pandemonium with the weight staff. That was the last time that I will try this restaurant all in all it was about an hour and 20 minutes experience for nothing they have to get together in properly trained the white staff I don't Don't know how the kitchen is run, but the front of the house was horrible. I too wish I could rate a 0 instead of having to give them one star.
