Oak and Ember Whiskey Bar and Grill

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! We started with the duck spring rolls. They were incredible! For my main course, I had the gnocchi and my friend had the cod. We both ate until we knew we would barely be able to fit a bite more... But that didn't stop us from ordering dessert. The lemon meringue clouds with the raspberry coulie were the perfect dessert. They were light and scrumptious! Service was fantastic! Thank you Oak and Ember for such a great dining experience!

So first time going there, and what a amazing experience... After reading prior reviews i wasn't sure what to expect but had a feeling it was gonna be great. From walking in the door to walking out was 5 stars all the way. The drinks were great, the Duck spring rolls were amazing!!! I had a onion topped burger and salad wedge and once again absolutely AMAZING!!! The service was amazing, super friendly and informative. i expected to pay a lot for dinner, wow! was i surprised when i got the bill, much less than i expected considering the environment... I will totally be returning very soon... I think the only small issue i had (which is not a big deal) Lots of menus to look at when you sit down. Either way 5 stars in my eyes absolute joy, thank you for a great time...

Excellent choice for a Thanksgiving Day meal, which was enjoyed by all. Great food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. Sit with Kevin If possible, he is charming, well spoken, attentive and just perfectly present. We had a wonderful day, even if our reservations some how were lost, the staff was very accommodating ! Looking forward to our next visit. Well done ! Congratulations !

Great experience starting with our waiter Will. He guided us through the both the food and beverage menus and made the night a culinary journey. The six dishes we shared were creative and prepared perfectly. Highly recommend a night out at Oak and Ember whether you like basic fair or especially if you want to explore something different.

Last night was our fourth visit here and again it was excellent! I've tried all the Manhattans on the cocktail menu and my favorite (by far) is the one made with Four Roses Bourbon. Smooth, flavorful and delicious. Last night for appetizers we (my wife and older daughter) shared the Bacon & Apple Hush Puppies. They are so good, we get them everytime we come. We also shared the Poached Pear salad which was awesome; poached pears, cheddar cheese, pecans, driet cranberries, lettuce and a great dressing. For our entrees ee also did some sharing. My entree was the Cod dish. It was so good I did everything but lick the plate, and I would have if we were at home. This was one of the best seafood dishes I have ever had. My wife got the scallops (I am allergic to them) and she said they were very good and it was a very generous serving size. My daughter got the duck and it too was delicious and she also had a generous serving. We were all too full for dessert last night but in the past we have tried several of their delicious home desserts and can't recommend them enough. Although all of the food and drink was fantastic the service was also. Our server last night was Ron and he was great. He explained how some of the dishes were prepared in great detail. When we heard how the meals were prepared, seasoned, cooked and plated we wanted to order everyone of them. Ron was very knowledgable, professional and courteous. There are many things on the menu that we want to try so we will be going back soon! Oh yeah, this rating is definitely 5 stars!

I had high expectations for this restaurant. They exceeded those expectations. Having eaten in 5 star restaurants all over the country, included steak houses in Manhattan, I have a wide range of experiences to draw on. I honestly feel Oak and Ember should be the standard for how to deliver an outstanding meal and dining experience. I highly recommend sitting at the bar (something I avoid whenever possible) as the staff is engaging without being intrusive and they know each plate on the menu. From cocktails to desserts, food and drinks are mouthwatering, service is fast and nearly perfect, and everyone around you is having a seriously good time, without intruding on yours. The restaurant itself is elegant without pretension, and would easily be at home in the most metropolitan cities in the world. Oak and Ember is a polished diamond in a perfect setting, and has just rocketed to the top of my list for THE place to wine and dine on Cape Cod.

Enjoyed an amazing Valentine's Day dinner here! One of my favorite meals to date. Started with the charcuterie and cheese board. Everything was delicious and paired well. For dinner me and my GF shared the the Aged Porterhouse for 2. Amazing! I was blown away when it came to the table. It was cooked perfectly and was one of the best steaks I've ever had. We paired it with the demi glaze sauce , Yukon mashed potatoes, broccolini and the most amazing Brussels sprouts. We did not leave a bite on the plate. After dinner we were full but decided to try a dessert after seeing the beignets! Before they came out we were offered 2 complimentary cake pops. One was a chocolate fudge and the other was carrot cake. The carrot cake was fantastic! I love carrot cake and have never had a carrot cake cake pop. I loved it. You would think I would be out of the count at this point, but then the beignets came. Once again these were absolutely amazing! They melted in your mouth and just full of flavor. I would come back just for these. This was all around a fantastic experience and it did not break the bank. We both kept saying to each other that we were so happy we decided to come here! Highly recommend!

Just GREAT from the time we entered to when we left. The food is the best and the vibe is great. Service is spot on. The Whiskey menu is huge. Drink list fun and so well made. This place is TOPS..

We all ordered from the prix fixe menu. That gave us a great deal on an incredible meal. In particular, their deviled eggs have ruined me for all other deviled eggs.

Oak & Ember was an unexpectedly wonderful place for a bite. Not only were their drinks and food delightful, but the service was lovely and the atmosphere was perfect. A must go for those in the area!

Three out of four meals stellar. The fourth the duck had under cooked rice and over cooked duck. Stick with the steak and you will be good!

Sat at bar, very friendly bar tender. Drinks very good, hamburger and fries excellent. Beautiful place, will be back.

The place itself has good presentation. However, the portions are very small compared to the price. Also, our food was a total disappointment to say the least. The Seafood Paella was very small in portion and the rice did not taste good, even though the presentation was good, it was bad; I couldn't even eat the rice to put it into perspective. All wasn't bad though, the wait staff was courteous and the manager tried to do the right thing by discounting our two sodas. We will not be returning.
