Great vibe at this lovely Thai restaurant. Ashanti has been really attentive and as it’s to celebrate my friend’s birthday, they offered us a nice shot on the house. Loved my crab cakes and mango salad. Will visit again for its cocktails !

Went here for dinner. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The service is very good and fast. Did not have to wait for them to take our order and for our drinks and food to come out. The food was out of this world and there was a lot of food. Had to bring the rest of my food home. The atmosphere is lively. The only thing I have to say is that the noise was quiet loud. Could not hear what my partner was saying.

Amazing brunch highly recommend, great food and drinks as-well as service. Our host Kelis went above and beyond and was the highlight of my experience.

We had an early dinner before heading to Cench’s concert. The food was delicious, and the service from the waitresses was excellent. The bill included a service charge, but it was worth it for the great service. *P.S. The toilet was very clean, can’t go wrong with a clean restroom when it comes to restaurant hygiene.

Siamais is an absolute gem! The food was exceptionally good, and every dish we tried was bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The service was fast and super friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The Drunken Noodles and Massaman Chicken Curry were simply outstanding—perfectly balanced, rich, and flavorful. To top it all off, the Mango Thai Dessert was a delight; truly mouth-smacking! I would highly recommend Siamais to anyone in Birmingham looking for the best Thai delicacies. This place is a must-visit for Thai food lovers!

Came in for late dinner on Saturday and managed to get a table without reservation. The service was excellent and I loved the atmosphere, great for cocktails or pre drinks. Everything was delicious, my favourite was the Tom Yum soup.

Had an amazing Birthday meal at Siamais today. We had set menu C, which was great value for money. There was so much food that we couldn't eat it all! FYI they do take out! The starters were the best, but my fave mains were chicken and cashew nuts and the Thai green curry. Abbie was our waitress and she was great. Really friendly and made sure we had everything we wanted. Would definitely recommend.

A brilliant night out. This is a buzzy Asian restaurant serving great cocktails and delicious thai food. From start to finish the service was excellent. We enjoyed some cocktails before indulging in great Thai food including the starter sharing platters, mains and ice cream. All of the food was quick and delicious with generous portions. Plenty of options for veggies. This is a dress up place (although you don't have to!)

Came here to celebrate my graduation and our anniversary, and honestly it couldn’t have been more perfect. We started off with the starters. The pork ribs were sooo good, cooked in this proper tasty sauce. The salt and pepper prawns were amazing too — honestly I wish there were more of them because they were that nice. The calamari portions were super generous as well, everything came out piping hot and really fast which we loved. The mains came out straight after, no waiting around at all. I had the crispy duck with tamarind sauce and it was hands down the yummiest duck I’ve ever had — perfectly crispy, full of flavour, and the portion was more than generous. Such good value for money. My friend had the Panang curry and it was really rich and flavourful too. We were also given very generously TWO complimentary desserts which was this lemon and ginger cheesecake, and it was sooo nice. Such a lovely surprise and honestly just topped the whole meal off. Big shout out to our waiter Gabby — he was so friendly, welcoming, and on point from start to finish. Service was super fast, he cleared the table quickly, brought food out straight away, and really made our experience special. He even served us two complimentary desserts which was beyond generous. This is genuinely the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in Birmingham. Food, service, vibes — everything was a 10/10. I’d recommend this place to everyone and I honestly can’t wait to come back soon 🫶🏽

Stunning meal here this week. The service was great but the food was fantastic. The sweet and sour chicken was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

SIAMAIS is a nice restaurant with good food and good service. Our service from Ananda was fast, efficient and friendly. I’m not an expert on Thai Food, however the food seemed to be prepared to traditional standards and was very tasty. Thank you to all the staff at SIAMAIS.

The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere. Beautiful decor and really great service. Our waitress Kelis was very friendly, attentive, charismatic and helpful. She made our birthday booking extra special and helped us with food recommendations. I would definitely come back again.

Ashanti was an absolute gem. Very attentive and polite who couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a great brunch. Our drinks were always topped up and the food was delicious. Amazing portion sizes for a brunch.

Been here twice now. Both times great food. Not the cheapest Thai around. But high quality & worth it in my view. Looking at just over £20 for curry with rice. Mocktails were really good.

Came here for our anniversary! Was absolutely perfect. Food was amazing, as were the cocktails and wine. The service in particular was perfect though! I had a wonderful experience at Siamias. I was served by Ashanti, who made the visit even more enjoyable with her pleasant and attentive service. I chose the lunch menu offer, which was excellent value for money. The starters arrived quickly, the food was hot and tasty, and everything felt well-prepared. Overall, I left very happy with both the meal and the atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Food was phenomenal, drinks tasted amazing. I recommend the 1941 and the pornstar martini. Gabriel was our waiter and he made sure the drinks were always full during the bottomless brunch.

I had the vegetarian Massaman Curry, and it was absolutely delicious! The curry was rich, creamy, and full of perfectly balanced flavours, with tender vegetables. You could really taste the quality and care that went into preparing the dish. It came with fragrant Jasmine Thai rice, which complemented the curry perfectly. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was lovely. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, and the restaurant had a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be going back soon and highly recommend Saimas to anyone who loves authentic Thai food!

The food was delicious and really enjoyable. We had a really lovely experience here, and a big part of that was Pedro, our waiter. He was warm, friendly and very attentive.

I went to Siamais Restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and our waiter, Pedro, really made the night enjoyable. He was super friendly, attentive, and made us feel totally looked after from start to finish. He gave great menu recommendations and made sure everything came out just right. Even though the place was busy, Pedro always had a smile and checked in at just the right times. Overall, the food was delicious and the service from Pedro made the evening even better.

Ashanti- thank you, what a hostess! Came here for bottomless brunch as a group of 4 on a Saturday afternoon, we really enjoyed it. The food was fantastic, and the drinks were great and never empty, without even being asked. It was a nice and relaxed atmosphere, probably because we were in the first seating for brunch, as when we left the second sitting was far busier, with large groups. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a classier feeling brunch. Friendly and attentive staff really are a credit.

Attended a bottomless Brunch as part of a large table / Birthday. Kelis was the star of the show. Attentive, personable and great attention to detail. Food was great. Drinks flowed. No complaints. Ready to return soon!

Superb. A party of 9 of us went here for a colleague's birthday. From booking to pre-order, from arrival to departure, we experienced attentive staff with an evident pride in their place of work. Service was exceptional and the food was fabulous. Would visit again without reservation and therefore would highly recommend Siamais to anyone with a taste for Thai cuisine.

Had a celebration with a large group. Food was delicious & super accommodating with allergies too. Service was excellent. Pedro was very helpful and made us feel welcome!

Everything was absolutely perfect! Loved the food, loved the waitress Ashanti who served us and the interior of the restaurant! Just the food a tas pricey proportioned to the sizes of the dishes, but was expected

Our server Ashanti made our experience the best it could have been. We came out for our anniversary and Ashanti went above and beyond to care for us. Honestly she is a staple to the company and deserves a pay rise haha. Food was amazing as usual and the atmosphere and vibes were great for a date night!

Came here for my sister's birthday lunch and had the best time. Service was 10/10, fantastic food, and great value for money. Ashanti and Daniel were fantastic servers!! Could not fault them, and thankyou so much for the shots!!!!!

Amazing food - service was absolutely brilliant. 3 courses polished off within 1hr 20 mins of arriving. Staff were extremely attentive, empty plates taken away promptly and very short wait between courses. Already recommended to friends and will certainly be returning. Brilliant way to celebrate my partners birthday.

The food was incredible. The drinks were amazing. The 1941 drink was absolutley delicious. I would definetley recommend this experience. Our waiter Gabriel was the best and made sure our prosecco glasses were never empty.

We had a fabulous evening celebrating my daughters birthday. The staff were welcoming, the service a was great, the food was delicious and hot! The atmosphere was lovely which is always a bonus. Everywhere was clean too. This was my 2nd time here and we will definitely be returning xx

Went here for food on a Sunday afternoon, was fairly quiet at this time but service from out host was very good. Food was very tasty and presented very well, their was a lot of different options on the menu as well. The brunch here doesn't offer much in terms of cocktails so I wouldn't suggest this. But this is a lovely setting to go to as a nice date night with a partner & is located near a load of nice bars in Brindley place. The only real problem was it was pretty pricey but that is birmingham I suppose. Definitely recommend this place.

The aesthetics look good. Was quiet when went in but didn’t mind it as it was lunch. The food was okay but the sauces where the star if show. I’m particular about noodles, they were good but not my cup of tea as more of a thick noodle type but that’s on me as thought try thinner noodles.

had the drunken noodles and was very filling, did not finish as there was a large amount!!! Great amount of food but our server Charlotte was amazing and attentive with all our needs. Food came out fast and was served hot! Lovely atmosphere.

My very first bottomless brunch! Food & restaurant was gorgeous but the service did let it down. 90 mins bottomless brunch ended up being 75 mins! The bill was put on our table & told no more drinks! If you are going to specify a time for bookings I do recommend you stick to it or maybe politely remind your guests your booking is coming to an end in 15 mins can we get you anything else.... rather than just putting a £700+ bill on the table. This did kind of ruin it for us I'm afraid!

Five stars all round except for one thing: the front door. I'll come back to that. Three of us booked for a Friday night: two parents and a student son. The food was amazing. The staff delightful. We shared a platter between three of us for a starter. We went separate mains. I had the red curry with sticky rice. It was worth every penny. We enjoyed a bottle of red, a Rioja from memory. We chatted and caught up. We had a wonderful time. We loved the food. But the front door is a single door. We spent the evening being subjected to a draft of cold air as the door was opened as people arrived or left. We weren't even in the same room as the door. We were one room further in. But, man alive, that draft on a chilly February evening was not enjoyable. They've got to find a way to sort it out. You can't charge £30 for a bottle of red and ask people to sit in a blast of cold air. Would I come again. In the summer. Or once they find a way to keep the cold air out!

Disappointed as love Thai food. The service was fbe as was the atmosphere. The food however was quite disappointing. The starters from the banqueting menu were just fried bits of poor quality ingredients. The mains were a little better but could have been more flavoursome. The cost of the meal was expensive considering the poor quantity of the food.

Nice looking restaurant and booked with high expectations consideringthe reviews. The food was below average. Chicken satay was like rubber and the Thai Green was over spiced and again the chicken was like rubber. To top it off, the service was rubbish. Cava is not Prosecco (as advertised). The waiter could hardly speak English and had a terrible attitude. You might want to work on your food and training your staff to know your business policies (as stated on your website) that the table is for 1 hour 45 minutes. That'll prevent your staff telling people to finish their drinks outside in the rain after 60 minutes. All in all, there are far better restaurants in Brum, with better food and service.

We’ve been loyal customers of Siamais for many years and have celebrated numerous special occasions here, which is why we chose it for our 11th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, this visit and the lack of follow-up afterwards was very disappointing. On arrival, we were seated and given menus with no explanation that the restaurant was operating a set-menu-only policy. The à la carte menu was still displayed outside, and there was no mention of this restriction at the time of booking or on the website. When I raised this with staff, we were simply told “that’s the only menu,” with no acknowledgement of the confusion.At 8:30pm on a busy Saturday, we felt we had little choice but to stay, despite the set menu not being what we would usually choose. This resulted in us spending nearly 50% more than usual. We also noticed several other diners leave shortly after being seated, suggesting this wasn’t an isolated issue. There was also no acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary, which was disappointing given how consistently thoughtful Siamais has been in the past. Following the visit, I contacted the restaurant via email and followed up a number of times as received three emails assuring me that a member of management would review the matter. To date, no one has followed up or contacted us. We are sharing this publicly not to criticise for the sake of it, but because we genuinely value Siamais and would like to understand what went wrong and how this will be addressed. A response from management would be appreciated, as we’d like to feel confident about returning in the future
