Always passed by but finally went in for a lunch and it did not disappoint. Very big, well stacked tortas. The bread was crispy, avocado fresh and meat cooked well. Definitely will come back soon!

The food was delicious 😋 ordered a super steak and shrimp burrito, super wet burrito with red sauce, 2 papusas, 4 chicken taco, 1 super taco. Everything tasted good. The salsa wasn't very hot. They have a huge selection of food to choose from. I'll definitely be back.

Just found this place when taking a walk and looking for a place for quick bite. Tried their burrito and nachos and absolutely love the food. Also tried Mangonada for the very first time and it was amazing. They only take cash though. Definitely try them out.

Been going to this for so many years ever since it opened in a neighborhood I used to live at. I still continue to go there now. They have this location and another one in San Bruno downtown. They are known for their tortas so if that's what you love go there for that. They have Mexican and Salvadorean food. Plus also if you have a sweet tooth they have some Mexican delicacies for you. I always get the torta Cubans super. Comes with chorizo, egg, ham, and either fried chicken or beef. Yummy!!!

This place is pretty solid. It has lots of fun mexican foods and antojitos (snacks). I came for the torta ahogada but it wasn't spicy enough. I want a near death experience and it was only kinda of spicy. The place was very clean and family friendly. Everything else was excellent and the service was great too.

The tortas are so delicious, big, and authentic. The service is also great! They have a variety of Mexican dishes. I ordered a torta with ham, American cheese and with all the veggies, the portion of the torta is big but not over filling but it’s very flavorful. However, the bad experience of my sandwich was that the lettuce 🥬 was not good and they still put it in my sandwich 🥪 they should’ve just communicated with me that they didn’t have lettuce and I would’ve been fine with that. It’s not my first time here, I’ve been here several times and prior visits I had a better experience than this one. I will be coming back and hopefully the experience will be better. Overall, this place is clean, service is great, and food is delicious.

Great food for a small restaurant. LA Torta is downhome Mexican cooking. Large selection of food to choose from. Small inside dining area. The best time to go is after noon rush. There is street meter parking. Service is good & fast.

I think the food is too authentic for my American palate, that’s why I gave it four stars. Next time I will try the platters. If you want Mexican food, check it out.

Delicious but stupid expensive! Paid over $60 at a taqueria! And that was only for 2 meals, a dessert and 3 drinks! So over inflation. Ordered a burrito, that promptly fell apart when my uncle tried to lift it. It was not closed well at all! My grandma ordered a Chile relleno. That plus a coke, 2 horchatas and a yogurt dessert was over $60 😶

I'm sure other items may be worth a try , Service was quick , parking can be a challenge busy street with a Main street feel.

My first time getting Burritos I tried the chicken one, I got sick I am sure the chicken was bad, never again will I go there, the burrito was only beans and salsa at the bottom pieces of chicken.

Got 2 different tortas ahogadas the sauce tasted sour not salty not spicy tasted like sour red water it was absolutely disgusting got the carne asada and carnitas both meats tasted like they had been reheated over and over again with no seasoning except for the taste of nasty oil

I have a really bad experience today I ordered 3 tacos asada and 1 milanesa torta I ask no mayonesa and no cream no tomato 1 they served me only 2 tacos and they where pastor I didn’t say anything but I ask for the 3rd taco I see the cook talking with the guy who charge me then he came back and told me ok I’m making the taco now 2 my wife’s torra came with mayo so I ask the cook if he can fix my order he went and talk to the guy who charge then these guy came to my table and started to talking to my wife very disrespectful and intimidating saying I heard you tell your husband you want mayo I told him I place the order and i clearly say no cram no mayo no tomato He walk away and now I’m mad my wife is mad and we are not hungry any more I walk to the cook and told him don’t do the torra or the taco I can stand the actitud or your co worker to the owner please with the $33.00 I pay plus tip please send him to customer service classes please and respect customers because without them there is no sales
