Went to get brunch on Thursday and it was delicious. Each plate is $19.95 and the add ons for the pancakes is $1.50 ea. So 2 sandwiches, an order of pancakes (3) with banana walnuts cooked in to it (worth it), and a coke came to $75. Very pricey but it was worth it. The place is open and cozy. Parking kinda sucks but you'll eventually find some. I wish 3 pancakes and 2 toppings wasn't over $20.
Food is excellent, service is exceptional. Could not ask for more when I look for a place to eat. I had the chilaquiles special and it was so good.
Ruby was the best !!! She accommodated our group so well all of us were super happy and stuffed once we left. Her energy is top notch and the food was great and quickly made as well.
This review is exclusively for RUBY! Ruby, Thank you SO MUCH for your excellent and prompt service this morning! Your team was amazing. This was my first time here and it certainly won’t be my last! I was so impressed from the moment I entered the restaurant. We had a large group and we were well taken care of! Our food was equally amazing! Thank you so much again, Ruby!!!!!
Good portions and taste good. So many great options and they are accommodating. They had egg whites and sugar free syrup. Will definitely return when I come back to the area.
The food was really good and the menu had so many options! The waiter was really nice! The music was calm and jazzy. Perfect for brunch or breakfast. You could choose if you want to sit outside or not. I would definitely recommend Brother's Cafe!
This small neighborhood bar is a hidden gem. The beer selection is excellent—always cold, fresh, and well curated. What really makes this place special is the server: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It feels like a true local spot where everyone belongs. Easily the best bar in the neighborhood. Prices are affordable and the best chicken wings. One of the best spots on grand Ave, south san francisco.
absolute cinema. I got the souvlaki sandwhich and first bite I knew I was about to swallow it whole. The encapsulation of tender and flavorful chicken with aromatic onions and tomatoes all bundled up in a soft warm pita is almost breathtaking. Service was great, made conversation with the waitress and even gave us some recommendations on places to visit, overall the staff was very friendly. 100% a recommendation for anyone needing a bite to eat<3
This is hands-down the best breakfast spot I’ve ever been to. My girlfriend and I went here four mornings in a row on our last trip! Everything we tried was basically perfect, but the bananas foster was our favorite. Even the coffee was strong and rich every single morning, not watery like so many other places. 10/10!
While at work me and my coworker were discussing where to have breakfast after our graveyard shift. I immediately did some research and I was in the mood for some good American breakfast, while searching I discovered this place and we both agreed to give it a shot. Upon arrival, there were a few people in front of us and the interior was almost filled with people dining in. I did not mind since I needed time to explore their menu, which consists of traditional breakfast platters, 3 egg scrambles, benedicts, pancakes, French toasts, vegan section, salads, breakfast sandwiches, burgers, pastas, entrees, kids plates and much more to choose from. You do order first at the counter, if you choose to dine in they will give you a number to place on the table after completing your payment and you can choose which table you like to be seated at. For takeout orders you can have a seat or wait on the side. Delivery is also an option where you can order from a delivery app. Everything is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity and I never mind the wait because I am a very patient person. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where my visit was a satisfying and issue free one. As time went by, the place got filled quickly and a line began forming out the door. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent breakfast place, if you are willing to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.
So came here a couple times already. We love this area of South San Francisco as we frequently get a hotel for our early flights out of SFO. Really know for their breakfast/brunch we came here a couple weeks ago and were not disapprointed. This time we came in for their lunch menu to see if a) quality was still there and b) atmosphere and vibe were still there. Enjoyed the meal we had. As always, the service is super friendly and inviting. Food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. Pricing on menu items were in line with what was to be expected. Overall, not disappointed in the least bit. Definitely will comer back here again.
We were staying near SFO airport and stumbled across Brothers Cafe on our first morning in San Francisco while looking for a good brunch spot — and honestly, what a great find! The place has such a chill, cozy vibe. The host was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They’ve got both indoor and outdoor seating, so whether you’re in the mood for some sunshine or a cozy corner inside, you’re covered. We tried a bunch of items: the French toast, the Home Run sandwich, the Belgian waffle, and the Chicken Sandwich — and everything was solid. The Chicken Sandwich was hands down my favorite — came with sweet potato fries, and both were amazing. The chicken was super tender and juicy, and the sauce they use really took it to the next level. The Home Run sandwich was another hit — it’s a breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon, cheese, and this delicious sriracha aioli. It came with hash browns that were perfectly crispy, but my only minor gripe is that the hash browns had no salt at all. Not a big deal since there was salt on the table, but when you add it afterward, only the top part gets any flavor. The French toast and Belgian waffle were both really good too — classic brunch treats done right. All in all, great little spot with good food, good vibes, and great people. Would definitely come back again when we’re in the area!
Amazing experience! Staff was bet attentive and friendly the moment you walk in you feel a good vibe. Amazing food. I got the Mediterranean Plate and it was amazing. So much flavor. Tender chicken and delicious hummus. Sitting outside is lovely. You have a nice view of the Main Street
Small restaurant in the building with “Cafe 382” signage. A bit hard to spot. Has inside and patio dining. Paid parking on the street. There is a free parking lot on the side but it belongs to the bank next door and they tow. The staff was very nice and friendly. I had eggs Benedict that had a very nice hollandaise. Kind of plain but certainly worth eating, comes with a chunk of crispy hash browns. Ordering is a process: stand in line, get called through the front door when they’re ready, order and pay, find a seat and they’ll deliver the food. It was pretty fast today in a low use time slot. The menu is on a board above the register; you should know what you want before you get in the door. Most everyone in line was googling the menu.
Probably one of the best breakfast restaurants close to the airport. They are fast, the food is good, the portions are enough. I was really hungry and ordered the blt and my son the eggs Benedict. We were super happy and will come back. Ah yes, also the hash browns are amazingly crispy.
Food: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Portion to Price: 4/5 Overall: A very good option for brunch. The extended review... Food: Banana Foster's French Toast - 4/5 - A very hearty portion and good flavor. Like some other places, this french toast is does it just taste like bread. Thankfully it does not and the toppings were plentiful. Service: 3/5 - It's a pay at the counter table service model. Friendly waitstaff. Ambiance: 3/5 - A decent setting with ample seating. All the times I've been here there has been a short/medium size line but the tables turn quick Portion to Price: 4/5 - I'd say very decent for the portion size.
Looking for a place to have a decent breakfast and chose this one because of the reviews in Google They have an extensive menu on the wall, kind of difficult to understand if you are not familiar with it, no picture representations. The staff was ok, but we felt welcomed. The food was good nothing special or different, but it was decent. The indoor salon was cleaned and they have a lot of space. Parking can be a pain, since there is no free parking you have to find a spot and pay for it. It is a nice place to have a good breakfast, but a little bit pricey. I will recommend this place.
This is a great breakfast spot. The service was quick and the food was yummy. Great breakfast food. I had a basic breakfast and my cousin had the brownstone Benedict that came with hash browns and a protein. Generally the food was good but not amazing. It’s a classic breakfast joint that I would go to if I needed.
I’m giving this place three stars because breakfast is great but everything else is straight trash. I was so hungry but I didn’t want to get breakfast so I ordered the chicken sandwich instead of my usual 222. The sandwich was terrible. The chicken was cut in half to save costs deep fried and tasted like pure oil with no seasoning at all. The fries tasted worse than In and Out fries. For 17 dollars I expected a thick juicy piece of meat not something that looked kid sized. The woman at the counter was rude and talked too much assuming I was trying to be cheap when I never even asked about substitutions. Breakfast here is great but the chicken sandwich was definitely not worth it.
The food is good, but the lady working there is pretty rude. Tells you to sit, then give you a menu. I was waiting to be served, then she said to order at the desk. I was standing there in the 1st place ready to order. Also, empty tables with reserved signs that were never used during our meal, while there is a long line. Service is horrible. They/she needs customer service training.
