This is our regular sushi place. Please try the mango special which is a delicious salmon, avocado, cream cheese, mango and lemon, so yummy! The service is always great!
[UPDATE 3] We love this place ♥️ it's been more than a year that we came and is still the best Sushi around the Bay, the deluxe Dinner is the way to go! It's a complete meal and very well done, they know how to make it, congratulations guys!!! We just left this amazing restaurant! We loved everything! The food is delicious, the service was amazing, was a girl very very kind and courteous! We chose the bento box delux, one beef and one salmon, is a lot of food to be honest! Perfect if you are hungry =)) I definitely recommend this place! [UPDATE] Just left the restaurant and my opinion is the same 5 start!!! The waitress is mega kind, fast! This service that she give is one of the reasons that made us come back! Service is 10 [UPDATE2] 1 Year without visit this simple place and my opinion is still the same AMAZING!!! Simple but goooood! Don't hesitate to ask the bento Deluxe Dinner! Is worth every penny! The waitresses were a man at this time, but he was so kind like the last girl that served us last time, so customer service is amazing, food is amazing! A lot of food on this dish, and the sashimi was fressssshhhhhh..... I will come back for sure! Is definitely a Yessssssss
I got the beef teriyaki and tempura lunch special for $12.95. With a tip still under twenty bucks. The beef was more tender than other places I've tried. The tempura was delicious and included one shrimp tempura, and the rest was vegetables. It also came with rice and a small salad. There are sushi boats here I'd like to come back and try. The staff told me for now, the boats are operating fridays and weekends only. While I waited for my to go order, I spoke with a very friendly employee who said the restaurant has been there for thirty years. This restaurant is definitely worth a try. I will be coming back. It's right next to lowe's in San Bruno.
Glad to find this adorable restaurant around South San Francisco. Our meal was so amazing 18 bucks for a huge combo and everything was tasty. You could have everything as well. The staffs was so friendly. This was a great experience for my first night at SFO.
First time out here for work so stopped in for a quick lunch - to say the least, I was very impressed. The space is nothing special, but the food was extremely good. Sushi rolls were fantastic!
My family and I have gone to this place nearly once a week for dinner, takeout, or lunch for the past 5-6 years. Their staff is always so friendly and their sushi and sashimi tastes fresh! Personally, I think this is the best place in San Bruno/South City area to get sushi. It’s worth a shot to try it :)
They are a Chinese running the best Japanese food restaurant around! Just give a try ;) I love it so much!
Excellent lunchi! Thank you a lot!
One of my favorite spots to get sushi away from the city 😍 I love their sushi rolls with cream cheese! Absolutely yummy 🤤

This place has become my favorite sushi place in the bay area. Great prices, lovely staff, local, and seriously so delicous. If you had any doubts, let this review tell you that this is the best place to go. For good prices and great quality fish, come here!
Spouse and I go every week! The atmosphere is nice. We get excellent service! The food is always delicious and the location is very clean. Nice staff that remembers your order from the previous time so they know what we like 👍
My fav sushi place! I run here a lot, this time decided to write a review while dining but still forgot to take a picture lol. Totally recommend

Very rustic place with somewhat small servings but I like this sort of neighborhood restaurants
We have been coming to this place for many years. They still have the sushi boats, yay. However they only run for the lunch and dinner rush. I had the spicy rice bowl with a Korean sauce. It was not really spicy. I'll come back to have fun with the boats.
Attentive friendly staff. Good sushi 🍣 portions for the price. *sushi boat currently not running since the pandemic, it may start up again in a couple of months.

Friendly, fast service. Food is excellent and less expensive than comparable restaurants. They have a rotating sushi boat that's always a draw for my family when we dine in. Place is on the small side but it hasn't been crowded when we visited the last 4 times.

I got the deluxe dinner bento. There was a lot of food for the price but everything tasted average. The food came out so quickly that I was suspicious of whether the chicken teriyaki was microwaved; it was the only item that was steaming and the salmon sashimi was very fishy.

Yeah... it’s fine..... the brought cold miso soup and fake taste California rolls ( tasteless)
An average Sushi Place near market. Place is too much in the back, and was empty when I went. I seated at Sushi Bar. Majority of Sushi Boats were empty. Place looked a bit dull. I ordered a vegetarian roll, which was very loosely binded unlike it should be. Tuna roll was also not great. Miso soup was barely hot. Chicken Udon was just noodles. The only thing edible was edamame.

Quite old, gloomy place with scufy serving mats with sticky floor. Was quite empty (5 other people) but despite that I had to wait close to 30 minutes to get a standard set served. Taste was OK, although not the freshest of fish. Then I hit it with the one before the last piece - a rotten (moldy?) hamachi!! Spit at once and rinse with "green tea" and the remaining wasabi and hope for the best. In 22 years sushi eating that was a first! And the green tea was some tea with a green color. Avoid at all cost this place, it can be not good for your health.

Sorry. I'm such a a snob for authentic Japanese cuisine having lived in Japan for so long. But today was leg day at the gym, and normally anything eaten after a leg day workout would taste divinely. So expectations were low from the start, which should have been a good thing. But here, the food and experience was way off, a huge letdown: the sashimi was still frozen, artificial coloring enhanced and terrible quality; the sashimi cut was amateurish with pieces still stuck together; the wasabi paste was intentionally mixed to be overpowering so that the mediocre flavor of the sashimi wouldn't be noticed; same with the teriyaki sauce being over pronounced to hide the low quality beef; I didn't even touch the salad because the lettuce was soggy and old looking; and the rice? definitely not even Japanese style as it was dry and tasteless. Oh and the miso soup was definitely nothing special, perhaps made from a commercial paste or powder, with one unidentifiiable piece of vegetable in it ... Was that supposed to be a green onion? One small cut of green onion?? Try adding small pieces of tofu and more green onions to give a good first impression if served as an appetizer, as is normally done here at Japanese restaurants here in the US. And with presentation, never have stray pieces of salad ie shredded carrots fall onto the sashimi / main entree. It shows inattention and carelessness, which is definitely not characteristic of the authentic Japanese experience. Nothing less than attention to detail is expected. I really don't want to bully the people here because the service was okay. It's just that there's a lot of room for improvement. People who haven't been to Japan would get the wrong idea about Japanese food.
