Had a great lunch with family. The brisket was so moist and delicious, the 1/2 chicken was so tender and flavorful, and brisket grilled cheese was absolutely amazing!! Just make sure you leave room for dessert…the Nutter Butter pie was so so good.
Sat at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and courteous. Meal arrived very quickly. Pulled pork sandwich had a very large portion of meat, which was tender and juicy. Brunswick stew and vinegar slaw were very delicious. Excellent meal for the price.
The food was absolutely incredible, and our waitress, Victoria, was truly the best of the best. Her recommendations were spot on and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The service was attentive, friendly, and genuine. I can’t wait to come back again!
This place is a MUST visit! We ordered the ribs, pastrami, peanut butter pie, and the baked potato with all the "fixens." Everything, I mean everything was delicious. Our server, Keely, made the experience even better. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great service. Definitely request her as your server. We will be back soon!
This is a great BBQ joint with plenty of charm and terrific servers. They have all the regular BBQ options. Got the brisket and the pork belly. The brisket wasn't the best I've had, but it was good. The pork belly was tasty. They offer fresh squeezed lemonade or powder. Go fresh squeezed. They have a nice offering of different sauce options. Yummy. All and all good stuff.
Fantastic BBQ Experience! We visited the Myrtle Beach location at 525 Broadway Street, and from start to finish, it was an absolute treat. There was plenty of street parking right outside, which made things easy, and as soon as we stepped inside, we were seated immediately — always a good sign! The restaurant was buzzing with energy, almost full, and the irresistible aroma of smoked meats hung in the air. You could tell right away this place takes its BBQ seriously. There’s a full bar for anyone craving a cocktail or local brew, and one of the best parts — you can actually see the pitmasters at work, tending to the smoky perfection behind the counter. There were four of us, and we decided to go all in with the Family Platter, which included a mouthwatering lineup: pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked turkey, smoked pork belly, housemade sausage, a third rack of ribs, smoked chicken wings, and three sides. Our waiter smiled and said it was perfect for four people… and he wasn’t kidding. We gave it our best shot, but in the end, the platter won — it could easily satisfy five hungry adults! Every bite was (cue Oprah’s voice) DELICIOUS! Tender, juicy, smoky — exactly what good BBQ should be. For sides, we chose coleslaw, potato salad, and pickled veggies, and they were the perfect complements to the rich, smoky meats. If you’re in Myrtle Beach and craving real BBQ done right, this spot is a must-visit. Bring your appetite — you’ll need it! [edit] The sell very colorful tee shirts with their wonderful logo in the front.
We had a great meal at Swig & Swine in Myrtle Beach! Our server Chris was excellent—super friendly, helpful with menu questions, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious. The pork rinds with blue cheese were amazing—crispy and full of flavor. We also loved getting to check out the smokers out back where all the meat is cooked—the smell was incredible! Highly recommend this spot for great barbecue and great service!
Pretty good BBQ joint near downtown Myrtle Beach. Just off the beaten path but worth searching out. Parking right outside the restaurant on the street is convenient. Nice looking exterior for the restaurant. A good size space inside with lots of seating but otherwise plain decor and atmosphere. Friendly service. Food was really good. The brisket and ribs were both excellent with great seasoning on the ribs and an excellent bark on the brisket. Pretty good chicken and mac & cheese. Baked beans tasted great but wasn’t a fan of the hard-style beans. Little bit pricey. Good option for the family or a large group. Has a decent kids menu.
My family and I had the chance to dine here during our vacation, and it was some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time, I wish I could bottle it up and take it home! The restaurant was spacious and not at all busy when we arrived. At first, I was a little hesitant since I didn’t notice the smoky BBQ aroma inside, but once the food arrived, chef’s kiss💋, I had no complaints. The prices were reasonable, the portions were generous, and the service was quick the food even came out steaming hot. My only personal critique is that I didn’t find a BBQ sauce I loved, but my family really enjoyed the selection. Overall, this was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it.
Swig and Swine – A True Taste of Southern BBQ We stopped by Swig and Swine while visiting South Carolina, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming, and the service was honestly some of the best we’ve had — super friendly and attentive without being over the top. You can really feel that Southern hospitality from both the staff and the other guests. We ordered the family platter, which came with a great mix of smoked meats, plus beans and coleslaw on the side. Everything was flavorful and cooked just right — you could tell they put care into it. If you're anywhere near the area and love BBQ, this place is definitely worth checking out.
First time at Swig & Swine and we had a great experience. We're big bbq lovers (fam of 4) and often search out local bbq spots when travelling. Found this through other Google reviews and it was close to Grand Strand Brewery where we planned to be before dinner. Ordered the Family Platter at the recommendation of our server Erika - she did NOT steer us wrong! It was the perfect sampling of all their meats (smoked turkey, wings, brisket, pulled pork, sausage, ribs and pork belly!) along with 3 sides of our choice, pickles and pickled onions. We chose the baked beans, Mac&cheese, and corn pudding - all were excellent and we'd order all of them again. The meats were all expertly smoked / prepared and there was plenty of each one for the 4 of us to all get a good bit. Only regret was that we didn't have room to try one of their desserts which sounded great. Beer selection was good, highlighted by local craft brews. And my daughter's fresh lemonade was excellent as well. Erika was super friendly and service was good / efficient throughout our visit. Family all agreed that Swig & Swine was one of the best BBQ joints we've been to!!
Amazing food, sauces, and drinks. We ordered the pork rind nachos. They were perfect. The rinds were thin and crispy and the toppings were delicious. We also ordered the family platter. The wings were awesome. The ribs were out of this world good. Overall, one of the best bbq restaurants on earth.
Great barbecue restaurant near Myrtle Beach. Ordered the 2 meat combo (St. Louis ribs and sausage links), sides were the baked beans and Street Corn. My husband ordered the brisket meal and daughter had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. Not only was tender and delicious but the large portions we received. We had enough to eat for lunch the next day. Also the tea Mojito was on point!
Best brisket grilled cheese sandwich we've ever had! Brisket was tender and delicious. Fries were crispy and well cooked. Only downside is they don't have ranch to dip your fries in. I tried the coconut pie and my husband had the chocolate cream pie for dessert. Both were absolutely delicious! I'm sad we live so far away (Michigan) as I'm sure to be craving this yummy deliciousness for weeks!
What a pleasant surprise! We decided to try this place while on vacation and I’m glad we did. I ordered the “Monday” special (Fried Turkey and 3 sides) The fried turkey was the biggest surprise to me. I was expecting fried turkey similar to what my husband prepares for the holidays but instead it was breaded, deep fried and covered with white pepper gravy. The turkey was tender, juicy and quite tasty. My daughter had the ribs and 3 sides and my husband had a pull pork sandwich. They both enjoyed what they ordered. The sides were delicious. I recommend the macaroni and cheese, baked beans and corn pudding. We also tried their “Fricles” which is their take on fried pickles. They were also very good. We will be back!!
I wish I could give bonus stars! Absolutely finger lick'n tasty!! The family platter was well worth it and plentiful. The sausage had robust flavors and a nice kick to it. The brisket, pork, and turkey were all tender with great flavor. The baked potato salad, oh so yummy! Baked brisket beans, my oh my! Yum!, the coleslaw had crunch and tang! Our little ones enjoyed their every bite. The wings and beans were especially favored. The pickled onion and pickles were delish, a great way to break up the flavors. This was a pleasant find, a great bbq meal for sure. Dessert.. we ordered a few to go, as we were stuffed from our meal. Banana pudding, chocolate cream pie, coconut pie... all amazing! The coconut was especially tasty, smooth, creamy coconut.. very refreshing. I am so glad this is so far from home, or I'd indulge daily. Service was super friendly, and our food arrived quickly. The atmosphere was nice and clean. Our best meal while visiting the area by far.
Swig and Swing is a fantastic spot for a hearty, flavorful meal. We ordered the family platter, which was an impressive spread of pork, beef, ribs, turkey, chicken, sausage, rice, greens, and mac & cheese. Every item was nicely seasoned and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous—more than enough to satisfy a family of four. The freshly squeezed lemonade was a refreshing highlight, perfectly complementing the meal. Service was friendly, speedy, and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was great—comfortable, welcoming, and not too crowded. If you’re looking for a place with great food and a relaxed vibe, Swig and Swing is definitely worth a visit!
Excellent service from start to finish, our server was so helpful and really guided us toward the right sides to order. Every side we tried was delicious, especially the mac and cheese and corn pudding!!! The PB&J wings flavor were super good good, the flavor combination is unreal and totally addictive. The sausage was also nice and juicy. Unfortunately, the other meat we ordered was quite dry, and we didn’t really want to finish it. Overall though, a really solid experience with some standout dishes
I was excited after seeing this place recommend since our other place is closed on Sundays. Parking was simple and plenty of spots, the building was open and calm feeling. The foot ball games were on and staff was super nice and responsive. I ordered the 78 dollar platter, a order of banana pudding, and a order of cobbler after seeing a beautiful and warm feeling picture of theirs in the reviews, spend about $120 in total. Food came out in a good time and staff was quick. When I went to start serving it to my family, I was pretty disappointed, there was zero flavor to the meat or barbecue, the food all felt reheated and the cobbler was stale and sticky crumbs it was Not a peach cobbler and felt as if it were days old. The Coleslaw was good, the Mac n cheese was OK and the kids enjoyed it, along with the potato casserole and the brisket slices were something the kids enjoyed, I didnt get to try it as there were only a few peices. The meats were super disappointing and there was not a single bit of flavoring, sauce or spices. The atmosphere was good but the food is not what I'd of expected after seeing the reviews and others photos.
The wait was long and seemed chaotic despite not having many customers. Took about 15 minutes for the server to come back each time. We are used to "Smoke Pit" back home. This place was not even close, food was subpar. Brief summary : Wings : Good, however, they do not have ranch or blue cheese. I overheard the people next to us asking for it too. How do you not have this? Ribs : Dry with not much meat 👎 Beans with Brisket : Was not fully cooked, beans were hard 👎 Potato Salad : Tasted like we were eating a tub of mayonnaise 👎
