Great little neighborhood spot. The interior isn’t much to speak of, but the banh mi are incredibly delicious and very fairly priced for the size. Highly recommended for a great take-out meal!

The service was great and the banh mi was very tasty! It also didn’t take long for the food to come out so it was perfect for a lunch break. They didn’t skimp on the meat and the bread was so good. Will definitely he coming back!

Have been here a few times and am so happy a viet spot is in the area. I’ve gotten a few different things on the menu. Is it the most amazing viet I’ve had? No… but it is still good and hits the spot.

I came for a banh mi and left with a newfound love of the little guy that works there. I find myself coming back just to say hi. I love him. As for the food… each bite transported me to the Southeast Asian utopia called Vietnam. If you want the best Vietnamese food in New York come here…. Every other place is inferior. Definitely going to recommend this to my friends (Austin and Justin).

The bahn mi here is so good. Unlike other places, it's actually fresh and the toppings are so so good. Ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee today and this will be our go-to for this summer. The staff is also very friendly, which always a plus. Love this place.

Tried the classic banh mi (authentic, better than Hanco's in my opinion), summer roll (fresh and also perfectly made), papaya salad (a nice sized portion!), and bubble tea (excellent - made exactly as I requested, tapioca is prefect consistency). Everything is fairly priced. So happy to have a real authentic-tasting Vietnamese option in this neighborhood! Thank you for a perfect lunch, Bahn Mi Cafe. Looking forward to trying the pho and rice dishes soon.

this place is awesome! hard to fine banh mi for under $10 nowadays. food always fresh and quick. peanut sauce is stellar. Their pho is great on a cold day. edit: inflation hit here too 😭 banh mi is now $10.34 w tax

I love this place. The staff is wonderful and the food is tasty and fast. I love getting the classic bahn mi and a boba, but their pho and summer rolls are delicious too.

I got the shredded chicken pho ,the chicken was amazing the broth was so good ! They delivered quickly and it was packed very well .I will definitely be ordering from here again!

The food is good for what it is simple and filling, if you're expecting a westernized version of Vietnamese food then I would say this isn't for you

Prices on the menu are not what you are charged - was charged 20% more :( that said, the food and boba are excellent

The summer roll was plump and delish! Honey green tea was refreshing and everything was packaged up perfectly. HOWEVER- the Beef Pho was flavorless. Like literally no salt, no flavor no nothing. It was like eating rice noodles in water.

Good place in a pinch, very excited to have this option in the area. Thai iced tea was ok, might try bubble tea next time. Bread in banh mi was good but not as soft as I like. Good deal for 1st time order, service very friendly and quick.

The beef pho was ok. The sandwich I give a pass meaning I can work with it. But never gonna oder a sandwich from here again cause I ordered chicken and it taste like pork. I prefer the one on Washington ave. And I think the one on Washington is a real Vietnamese restaurant. Nostrand location taste like Chinese food.

It’s a decent neighborhood spot. Bahn mi was the stand out but definitely missing veggies will ask for extra next time.

Shredded chicken sandwich is good but their extra meat option is a scam. They don’t add extra meat.

When they get the order correct it’s delicious but they mess up all the time unfortunately. I asked for extra cilantro. I got no cilantro. I asked for not spicy, I got BOTH sriracha on my sandwich AND jalapeños. So if you’re not picky about how your food comes go for it. Otherwise I don’t like throwing away a $9 sandwich because they made it inedible spicy

The beef balls had a sort of freezer-ish taste which made it hard to ignore imaging a bulk order from costco that was forgotten for a few months. I really tried, but after the third one my stomach refused to continue, which I was highly motivated to overrule since there isn't much more protein in this item. The coffee was sort of similar - I spent the first few sips bargaining with myself that it was drinkable, but ultimately couldn't continue after sip 12, as much as I tried to ignore it. And to be honest, this is at least as impressive an achievement, since I'm chemically addicted to caffeine. Just too sweet, and really stale. I think Banh Mi Place is still probably the best balance between affordable and good in the area over in Prospect Heights, but then again I haven't tried the Pho there either.

Super disappointing- the broth lacked depth and flavor. They barely give any green herbs/veggies.the summer roll was also tasteless. My slushie was almost too sweet to drink.

I got the pork and rice dish. Loaded with rice but small amount of veges and meat... the latter being bland.

The banh mi tasted like it was a couple of days old, the meat didn’t have any taste. The summer rolls were mushy and the shrimp wasn’t deveined . Would not recommend coming here!

Their chicken pho gave me food poisoning and on an earlier occasion, the pork pho was just eh, the main issue being the pork itself wasn’t very good.
