Banh Mi Cafe Brooklyn Reviews
My go to Banh Mi spot. I’m obsessed with Banh Mi’s and theirs is so good. Grilled Chicken sandwich and summer rolls is my go to and my partner does the Classic sandwich. He’s not a big sandwich person but even he loves their Banh Mi.
Got the Vegetarian Tofu Bahn Mi extra spicy. I asked them to make it vegan. Not sure if it already was/is though. They have a few vegetarian options that could probably be vegan upon request. The sandwich was pretty good and it was definitely spicy! 🤣
Nice local hole in the wall Banh Mi, Pho, Spring Rolls and Boba Tea spot. The prices are inexpensive. I think the Summer or Spring Rolls stand out as my goto. They don’t have a traditional Dac Biet Banh Mi unfortunately but tasty enough. The Pho is ok. Broth could be richer. Staff is really nice and food comes out fast. More takeaway as there’s only a couple small tables. The light is very bright so not great to dine in.
I didn't expect the banh mi to be spicy but it was delicious! Lovely staff too!

Really good pho, and perfect summer rolls. Their peanut sauce is smooth and delicious, I prefer spicy, so I just add sirarcha
the classic banh mi is SO DELICIOUS, seriously!! the ground pork was so flavorful and the sauce they added was perfect. go during lunchtime to get the crunchiest bread!!!! this is my new regular spot :)
It's one of the best Bahn mi sandwiches around the neighborhood. Family owned and operated. Everything is cooked to order, so it's always fresh and delicious. The Bobo teas are always on point . Great addition to the neighborhood. Stop by or order online.
Seriously one of the most flavorful /best pho I ever had . I’m part Cambodian so Im used to this dish at home frequently ,but this one was just so good . I got the shredded chicken pho ,the chicken was amazing the broth was so good ! They delivered quickly and it was packed very well .I will definitely be ordering from here again!
I absolutely love this place. Their grilled pork sandwich is my go-to and as for the drinks, the kiwi smoothie, peach smoothie, taro milk tea, and coconut milk tea are amazinggg and so tasty !
Great value for the food. Love the sardine banh mi :)
Small, clean pho and banhmi spot with smoothies, bubble tea and Vietnamese coffee. Excellent vibes, decent portions, great prices, tasty food. Steady stream of pick ups and eat ins while I was there. Will definitely be back
It's a humble shop, but the banhmi's here are absolutely delicious. I stumbled upon this shop randomly a couple months ago and was pleasantly surprised. Went back the other day while I'm the area and bought 2 because I knew what was going down 😂 I'll be back for 2 more.
New Banhmi Cafe your cooking style brings out the best in simple ingredients. This spot was exceptionally good. The taste quality extends across the entire menu. Employees dependably demonstrate authentic kindness. Even with my limited budget, I suggest this spot.

Good place in a pinch, very excited to have this option in the area. Thai iced tea was ok, might try bubble tea next time. Bread in banh mi was good but not as soft as I like. Good deal for 1st time order, service very friendly and quick.

This place offers an OK Banh Mi sandwich. I've ordered the traditional, but their filling is mostly grounded beef. Also, the Vietnamese Ice coffee here was good as well. All-in-all a good welcomed asian restaurant to the neighborhood.
I asked if the vermicelli salad actually had salad leaves, as in, lettuce. They said yes. But this is really just a bowl of vermicelli w 3 slices of cucumber and some mint on top. That’s the extent of anything green.

Oof. I've had a couple of solid Banh Mi's here, so I decided to see what else was available, especially since this place is much cheaper than Banhmigos a couple blocks away, but today I tried the beef ball Pho and a Vietnamese coffee and they were disappointing. The beef balls had a sort of freezer-ish taste which made it hard to ignore imaging a bulk order from costco that was forgotten for a few months. I really tried, but after the third one my stomach refused to continue, which I was highly motivated to overrule since there isn't much more protein in this item. The coffee was sort of similar - I spent the first few sips bargaining with myself that it was drinkable, but ultimately couldn't continue after sip 12, as much as I tried to ignore it. And to be honest, this is at least as impressive an achievement, since I'm chemically addicted to caffeine. Just too sweet, and really stale. I think Banh Mi Place is still probably the best balance between affordable and good in the area over in Prospect Heights, but then again I haven't tried the Pho there either.
One of the most flavorless pho broths my wife and I have ever had. No depth or complexity in the broth and it was served with dry meat (grilled pork + beef). Hate that we spent money on this. Can’t speak to the Banh Mi’s, but 100% avoid the pho here.
I got the beef pho & the fresh rolls with shrimp. The latter was fine, but a bit pricey for what it is. The pho though, was extremely stale. The beef itself was fine, but everything else was sad and tasteless.

This has to be the most saddest Vietnamese cafe/restaurant ever. It’s terrible. The food is so dry, everything is dry. I ended up getting the Grilled pork with rice. And it was literally just cut up ham… Where is the sauce?? It was 85% rice 5% sides and 10% meat. They barely give u meat. You’re better off going somewhere else for authentic Vietnamese food. This was a disappointment.
