Opinions de Brother Asian Cuisine Brooklyn
Go to chinese food spot. Hands down probably best chinese food in brooklyn. Food is always on point and vegetables are always fresh and crunchy. Fried rice is actually fried rice and not yellow. Lo mein is always very flavorful and garlicky. One time my grub hub carrier never showed to pick up my order and they called and had their own delivery guy deliver it after they were already closing. When the food arrived our food was kept piping hot and was still incredible. Extremely well priced and overall great customer service. Never been disappointed.
A goodbye message of sorts... Parting not by choice but because I'm moving away. Brother's Asian Cuisine has been there with us from Harry Potter nights to Monday Night Football. It was there for me physically and spiritually when I was in need of healing. This place has been my go to for years since I've lived in Bay Ridge. I've tried every single takeout restaurant (and I do mean every single one) and Brother's has the best General Tso's in this area. I recommend ordering it with Lo mein and make it extra spicy. It's the perfect bite. The delivery man with the red helmet is very kind and has always brought us our food promptly. Give Brother's a go.
Great tasting dishes, Good & fast service. Best spring rolls I’ve had in a long time nice and crispy and not greased at all! Looking forward in trying different dishes!
I ordered Crispy Seaseme Tofu and thought it was great. It came with a side of rice. And was enough food for two meals. I would order it again.

Is the best food I’ve ever eaten you be crazy not to go try them out Fresh and delicious
Honestly, it's the best Chinese Restaurant in Bay Ridge and my favorite in Brooklyn. Might be a little more expensive than other nearby places but it's 100% worth it. Every time I go in she's always back there cooking pretty much EVERYTHING by herself as well. I have great respect for the woman that runs this place. I've never had a bad experience here and the food is delicious every time.
Good food but ridiculous policy. I ordered a combo and asked if i can substitute the spring roll with an egg roll, i advised that i don’t eat spring rolls and i don’t want to throw it in the garbage. The man on the phone stated the boss does not allow that so then i asked if i can substitute it for anything else and he said no. Very weird. What if someone has an allergy, they cannot be accommodated? I’m sorry but that’s ridiculous. Eggs rolls are essentially the same thing as spring rolls, just wrapped in a thicker dough (?) In the end, i had to pay extra for egg roll, so stupid.
Hands down the best in Bayridge. Food is delicious and fresh. Staff is great. Thanks Mindy
Omg this is by far the best Chinese food I ever had in my life! Spicy garlic shrimp unbelievable. They are crispy and jumbo. Pork fried rice not oily and fresh! Boneless Pork spare ribs so good as well. If I could I would give this more than 5 stars. Also the woman who answered the phone so helpful and helped my choose the right shrimp for me. On time service. I worked in the service industry 25 years. I am rarely wowed. This did it. Thank you so much I finally found a new spot. I will be telling my whole office to order here!
Delicious food- especially the fried chicken wings, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and Singapore mei fun! Usually takeout food can be greasy and leave me super thirsty. But the food here doesn’t leave me with that and the price is great. The people are so friendly and nice, and it’s always easy to place my order with no communication issue.

Great place for delicious food and fast service. I love the cheery attitude of the host. She is always happily greeting every customer. She is the one who translated the meaning of the good business statue to me. The dining area is clean and cozy. Not a large space, but big enough to accommodate a small group of friends. I often relax here and eat, instead of waiting for the slow buses to arrive. Prices are what you would expect. The surprise is that they serve bubble tea now! This place has come under new management and the new menu has a little bit of everything.
New Review/Update: I have to take off a star. The food is delicious, the restaurant knows it, so they’re consistently stingy. You pay a lot of money for good food, but only the rice is adequately portioned, because it’s a cheap food in general. Added this picture of my Boneless Ribs. This is before eating it. I pushed it all to one side to show just how much the rice to meat ratio is. And that meat is still on top of rice. It’s maybe 3/4-1 cup of meat. I also order the Thai Basil Chicken and that’s even worse. Consistently, it’s mostly peppers and onions, which I don’t eat, and 3-4 small thin slices of chicken. My opinion is this: ordering out is a luxury. If you, as a restaurant, don’t give people what they pay for, that’s theft. Being stingy with meat is ridiculous. * Old Review: I am not kidding. This is the BEST Chinese food I have had in all of Brooklyn and Queens. I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken and Cheese Wontons and Wonton Soup. Gurllllll I could barely focus on my movie, it was so good. When you start dancing and feeling sexy while eating Chinese food, you know they did something right. You know when Elaine tries the soup in that Seinfeld in that famous episode? And she said “Oh. I have to sit down…” I never understood that til I ordered from this place. The chicken, covered in delicious sauce, was still crispy! The rice—-look at that color! Fried rice is usually yellow, but they did some kind of eastern magic on these grains. The wonton soup made me shiver from goodness. The cheese wontons were crispy and the flavor punched me in the face so hard, I almost needed to call a lawyer. I cannot stop raving about this place. Don’t hesitate, just ORDER!

The food was average in taste. The wonton soup has only a quart size. The broth was salty. No greens and no roast pork. Roast pork wonton soup is sold only in a quart size for $9.50. Egg roll and dumplings are typical. Shrimp and lobster sauce had little flavor.

The food is not Chinese food. The fried chicken tastes like its been fried at least 4 or 5 times in old oil. The fried rice tastes like rice and soy sauce with egg. Not made the traditional way at all. The portions are also small but its not that big of a deal because the food is so bad.
This was one of the last decent Chinese takeout places in south Brooklyn, but like the others, the quality has gone down while the prices go up. Sesame Chicken is now hard, gross meat and even the rice isn’t cooked properly. Guess it’s time to learn to cook Chinese food, myself. Chinese takeout used to be great.

Pretty much the lousiest Chinese food I have ever eaten. GARBAGE WITH SAUCE! They ripped me off and charged nearly 30 dollars for a terrible meal that they refused to correct. The house special lo-main should have been called "house-non-special "LOUSY-MAINE". The noodles were over boiled and broke apart, while the French fries were greasy and soggy:spongy. When I called to complain and asked for it to be corrected, the response by a childish sounding young man said to me in so many words "too bad, try again next time". I wouldn't waste my time here again.

I’M NOT EVEN EXAGGERATING WHEN I SAY THIS WAS ONE OF THE WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCES I’VE EVER HAD. THE STAFF’S ATTITUDE WAS SO DISRESPECTFUL IT FELT LIKE THEY WERE TRYING TO START PROBLEMS FOR NO REASON. THE WAY THEY SPOKE TO ME FELT HARASSING AND COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. AND THE FOOD? COLD. JUST STRAIGHT-UP COLD. IT TASTED OLD, GROSS, AND MADE IT EVEN MORE OBVIOUS THAT THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT QUALITY AT ALL. I LEFT ANGRY, DISAPPOINTED, AND HONESTLY WONDERING HOW THIS PLACE IS STILL RUNNING. TERRIBLE SERVICE, TERRIBLE FOOD, TERRIBLE VIBES. I’M NEVER COMING BACK, AND I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.
I never bother to write reviews but I had to after receiving my order. I ordered the fried chicken wings (they don’t give you a full wing only half of the wing) and charged 8 dollars for basically 2 whole wings. The boneless rib combo was a joke…. full of rice with barely any boneless ribs added. The spring roll was about the size of my pinky (not over exaggerating, I’ve never received one that small from a Chinese restaurant) and tasted disgusting. Never again smh.
If it could be rated at -5 stars, I would do it. the attitude of the waiter and the chef was terrible. I ordered dumplings that didn't even come close to what they should look like in addition to not looking and tasting good, the meat was probably old or spoiled. I came to the waitress and politely informed her about it. she took it to the kitchen, let the chef taste it, and gave me back the bitten dumplings from the chef, saying that according to her, everything was fine. when paying, I asked to pay only for the noodles, which were fine, and I said that I didn't want to pay for the dumplings that I didn't eat and returned. the waitress and the cook started shouting loudly and made a big scene. they didn't let me talk and explain why I don't want to pay.

That food was something else. My son and I couldn’t feel good and sleep all night because of their food. The quality of the food was terrible; I wonder how they prepared it. We all got stomach problems kind of food poisoning. I will be very picky and careful next time when I order food from UberEats. The food was expensive and there were smaller portions than expected. Even after an Uber discount was applied, the food was still a little bit expensive. So when you pay more, you can expect a little bit more quality and less of a risk of having food poisoning.
