Spent a wonderful afternoon at Chadwick's with some friends. The food was amazing! The calamari was delicious. And my youngest, who very rarely eats meat, couldn't have enough of the porterhouse. They had a red snapper special that was to die for. But the best part was how all the staff made us feel, even though it was our first time it felt like we were their best long time customers. Thank you so much for making our visit to NY one we will always remember. And see you soon.

Simple.. the ribeye was fantastic. All the plates on our table were finished. It was very expensive, but we knew that going in. Recommended.

We have been here several times and we always enjoy it. This evening, we came for a family birthday party. The food was amazing, the service really superb and Joe the waiter was perfection. We will definitely make Chadwick's the restaurant for all family celebrations from now on.

My daughter had a harrowing trip home for Christmas and trying to make it back to NY, 40+ hours out of 72 traveling -- cancelled flights with missed connections and had to cancel her bank cards due to fraud. I called from CA to make sure she had a meal when she finally got back and Chadwick's worked with me to make sure she had a wonderful dinner. I can't say how much we appreciated a simple act of accommodation from the staff when I'm sure they were extremely busy. My daughter said the meal was wonderful! Thanks Chadwick's and a special call out to Randy!

This is one of the best restaurants. There is not 1 person there who is no very attentive. I've had the waitress Erica twice and she is the most amazing waitress I've ever had. Absolutely excellent! My family and I went here to celebrate a retirement. The service and the food was great! And I really must emphasize the overall hospitality - I called many times prior to our reservation date with a lot of questions and a few requests and the host was always exceptionally kind and helpful. It was no surprise to find all of the staff this way once we arrived. 100% would recommend!

We were greeted by the owner who was very nice. We were seated right away. Patrick, our server was wonderful. He told us about all of these specials and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The wines were 25% off because it was Wednesday. We don't drink wine. We ordered beer. The dinner came with appetizer or soup. We chose ravioli which was very good. My orange roughy stuffed with crab was tasty. My mashed potato was amazing. My boyfriend ordered the pot roast. He said it was the best he ever ate and so was the homemade apple sauce. Our rice pudding tasted homemade and was excellent as well. So happy we stopped in.

Berkshire Farms Pork Chop, AWESOME! I had it with hot cherry peppers. I also had the other half of my wife’s Grilled 10 oz. Filet Mignon, WOW! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I don’t write many reviews however I was extremely impressed. Chadwick’s IS a Bay Ridge gem!

Amazing! From start to finish, it was incredible. We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary and we are so looking forward to visiting again. Service was wonderful; Thanks Joe. Food was DELICIOUS! We shared the fried calamari & zucchini (Best!) followed by beef wellington for me and fettuccine with spicy crab sauce for my husband. Dessert was yummy - apple tart & cappuccinos. Thanks again Joe! Where do I begin? The staff was amazing. Friendly,accommodating, couldn't do enough for us. It seems that lately, every bartender in the world has forgotten how to make a classic Old Fashioned. Not here! The bartender made the best Old Fashioned I've had EVER! He hit the mixture right on the head. Kudos to that guy! The appetizers(Fried Calamari, BBQ Octopus) were excellent. For entree, I had the T-Bone Steak. Cooked to perfection. The best damn steak I've had in years!! I cannot wait to go back. You MUST go to Chadwick's. If you've never been, you haven't actually eaten a steak. This place is Steak Heaven. So to sum up. From the wait staff to the check, a most enjoyable experience that I can't recommend highly enough.

I’m leaving 5 stars and hopefully the owner will read this as viewers tend to skip positive reviews. Your website hasn’t been updated since 2015 and it states Sunday you guys close at 9pm. Last night for the second time in 4 years I attempted to have dinner at your bar. The bartender was busy and I understand the impetus of closing down. That being said the tone and rush i was welcomed with to put in the order at 8pm cause the kitchen had closed, was beyond me. Verbatim conversation: Me after ordering a drink: can I put in an order? BT: you gotta put it in right away I’m not sure they’ll take it, what do you want? Do you know what you want? Me: no I have to look at the menu, I’ll be quick BT after short of 90 seconds: so what do you want? We have to put it in right now, so you know what you want? At this point my watch said 8.06pm and I got turned off completely and returned the menu. BT attempted to apologize but guys, this is unacceptable. I’m not your friend, family member, or anything else other than a customer who walked in for the first time. Where did your hospitality go? Manners? I wanted to send an email opposed to a review but your website doesn’t have any ways to contact you. Again, 8pm on a Sunday. For context, I managed several restaurants in the city over the last 15 years. I think I have an objective view over service and standards. Rather drive to a different neighborhood.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating staff. Was in town to visit family from DC and found this restraunt on Google maps and decided to visit and I'm glad we did. I ordered a lamb shank with polenta and broccoli Rabe and it was delicious, we got coffee and desserts as well and the Gelato with coffee tasted great as well.

After a long break between visits I recently decided to stop by Chadwick’s for dinner. Although it was a busy night several of the employees came over to welcome me and I was seated immediately. In a departure from my usual pork chop order I elected to order the Osso Bucco. This is a dish I usually order at an Italian restaurant. Much to my surprise, it stands as one of the top three I have ever had worldwide. The meat melted off the bone and both the reduction and the mushroom risotto were equally prepared to perfection. Looking forward to my next visit!

Posting on my daughters account cause I don’t have google. You ever have a night out, dinner and drinks that prove nothing short then unbelievable? I’m retiring from the Army and had my birthday dinner at Chadwick’s. Started off with dirty martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives, jumbo shrimp cocktail and baked clams. We then went on to the wedge salad and ceaser salad. Followed by a Filet and pork chop. Both of which I’ve never had better. We finished with an amazing key lime pie and waffle with vanilla ice cream. Of course other drinks were had but an Irish coffee to end the night was the finishing touch. I believe our waiters name was Brian. He was top tier and has been working there for over 20 years. Which I learned is a common thing at this establishment, everyone you speak to has been there for over two decades. You wouldn’t know but the owner walks around, grabs dishes, checks people in, he is everywhere. This will go down as the best evening I’ve ever had.

This place is amazing!!! The staff, the owners, the food and everything else that you experience here is in such a friendly way!! Eat at the bar or make a reservation . I’ve been here twice this week and I leave happy Everytime. Get the steak or try the large shrimp appetizer . The delicious sauce thats comes with your bread or just come in for the amazing dessert. I love the brownie one! Everytime I come I try something new. It’s so warm and cozy decorated for the holidays.

Went for the 1st time on my anniversary, and so glad we did! Great service & food!! We got the crab cakes (so yummy & loved the slaw), the seafood special pasta dish (10/10), and the duck (blueberry demi glaze yum).. as well as the chocolate lava cake & cheescake-both fresh, rich, & delicious!

Chadwick's is an excellent place to take someone for dinner in the neighborhood. It is an upscale looking place with standard American fare. This is not the place to go if you prefer a loud and trendy restaurant. On the contrary, this place is subdued and subtle. The wait staff is knowledgeable and has not expertise of the menu. This place is great for dates and more formal family dinners.

We came last nite for my nieces graduation a group of 8 of us. We.were greeted & welcomed by the entire staff. Very friendly & great hospitality. The food was outstanding! We had the T bone steak, the seared scallops, the chicken Milanese.... all cooked to perfection. All the servers & captains were very attentive & on point & made this special occasion even more special. The desserts were delicious especially the apple tart & peach Melba. A big thank u to the Chadwick staff for making our evening extra special. Excellent food & customer service! They do everything right here & we will definately be back soon!!

Classic local steakhouse with great service and fantastic food. Very warm atmosphere with no annoying TVs running or loud music to drown out conversation.

Really delicious food served by an incredibly professional staff and a classic looking space. Went in with a party of five. The waiter was incredible. His name was Jonathan did a really great job taking care of us. The steaks, especially the porterhouse for two were absolutely of the highest quality. The seafood was fresh and delicious. The oysters are great. The drinks were delicious as well. We enjoyed our desserts as well as coffee. Will definitely be back money well spent.

Fantastic food and service, The lamb was some of the best I have had. Rib and shell steaks were loved by the table as well. Great drinks, the staff was very attentive. Overall, they have good variety without being overwhelming with the amount of choices. A must if you are local, and should be high on the list as a tourist.

Charming old school steakhouse, hands down my go-to steakhouse in Brooklyn for special occasions. We had the porterhouse for 2, pork chop and fried calamari. Love both the entrees but will skip the calamari next time (have had better elsewhere). Overall excellent ambience, great food and easy to find free street parking on the block. Highly recommended!

Creative menu, Wonderful dining experience, servers made us feel like we were frequent guests, although it was our first time, the menu is vast and diverse, with plenty of options, many daily specials, we had sampled 3 appetizers and a salad, porter house steak for 2 and 4 different dessert, because we couldn’t decide between the great choices.. All foods are fresh, done correctly and served in the right temperature, beautiful plating and. Quiet atmosphere adds to the overall experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and bar! We stayed after closing time, and servers gave us the space and time to enjoy our meal and company.

Took some out of towners here and I have to say that my experience was all positive from the valet to the host to our server and other staff that we came into contact with. We started with the grilled Octopus appetizer and the calamari and zucchini appetizers. The octopus was done perfectly tender and delicious I highly recommend it. It's not easy to get that right. They had the 40oz tomahawk special that our wonderful server recommended so we ordered that. It came with spinach and onions and potatoes. Both side dishes were delicious. Then we ordered a side of mushrooms and that was so good and flavorful. We split that amongst 4 people. They also had a potato leek soup which was so creamy and yum. Then we had dessert. Key lime, tiramisu and Chadwick's cheesecake. The tiramisu was delicious and the key lime has a lot of key lime flavor which I enjoyed. No complaints from anyone in my party. There's a reason why they have been in business for so many years. If you are around the area be sure to pay them a visit. Also to mention they have a fully stock bar and a very good wine list.

LOVED this place. First time I had been in Dyker Heights and first time at Chadwick's. It's old school and they clearly have LOTS of regulars but it's not old-fashioned. Staff is terrific, food was wonderful, and the vibe is fantastic. They also make a fantastic Perfect Manhattan. We ordered jumbo shrimp cocktails, the burrata with oven roasted tomatoes and arugula, the ravioli special (with butternut squash), the grouper, one of the steaks with a side of broccoli rabe. It was fantastic. Because of the location and not having a car, I doubt I will be back very often BUT I 100% would if I could.

Greay service first of all very courteous, then the food, the steak was very savory, i didnt even need any sauce, and that bacon jam! Bacon jam,where has this been all my life! Def try it here, and the grilled eggplant skewers omg it is perfect,perfectly cooked,juicy and not over cooked paired with mozzarella mmmm oh and their marina dip for the bread! Great job this place!!

Looked it up online, seemed to have a fairly even set of options and my friend wanted some sea food. (I was open!) We had a wonderful greeting from Roy who was the bartender and he was gracious and took our order for food and drinks. The food was delicious and as you can see from the photos the portions were reasonable. The NB fried calamari and fried zucchini is an appetizer and I couldn't finish it even with help. My friend had the lobster salad. The drinks, a whiskey sours and a mojito were also pretty good. I'd definitely go back so you should definitely check it out.

Bar was very over crowded. Made it near impossible to get to the restaurant. Once we were in, everything was perfect, as usual. I had the sushi grade tuna. Rare, over risotto. It was great. All of it was great... The Peach Melba was fabulous. Perfect with a double esspresso! The world was all right...

Came here today for my mom's birthday. Had the lunch special. Salmon. Chicken marsala. Fantastic. Split pea soup. Ice cream cake roll. All excellent! Great service! Great atmosphere!

The food was excellent *****! My wife and I seriously enjoyed the spicy mussels (out of this world) and baked clams. As for the 10oz Filet Mignon, I had to listen to my wife rather than talk until I finished licking my lips. Lucky her. Other than the room being too noisy from everyone talking; overall, I'm glad I chose Chadwicks to celebrate my birthday with a delicious dinner.

The portions were good and the food was properly cooked the lamb was a perfect , med-rare and the sides were done well especially the broccoli rabe. However the sauces used , mustard herb crust and wine reduction used weren't that good.

The food was excellent; very flavorful and hot. It was the best shrimp scampi I've had! The service was very good. The only thing I would change would be the noise level. It was very loud in the room where we ate.

Definitely seems like a great place to come. Started off with the grilled octopus for the appetizer which was delicious. And I got the venison special that day which was also amazing! Only complaint was after we finished our dinner, we had to wait 20 minutes for our server to even check on us and offer us the dessert menu. That was really annoying, and my parents were also wondering what was taking so long. If they picked up the pace a bit, then I would give them 5 stars.

We ordered the Black Angus shell steak and the filet mignon with blue cheese sauce—absolutely loved it. The bacon jam was excellent, mashed potatoes were good, and the meat itself was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing The waiters were very kind and attentive. Rib eye was pefectly cook but 4 some reason it was cold thats why U gave it 3 stars Branzino was great...nicely cook , savory cauliflower mash.. Spinash too much garlic couldnt eat it. Please take note management We had a lemon drop martini but it was not made with real squeze lemons..dissapointing...specially if paying top dollars for a martini .. Calamaries were fresh ..did not know what is the green sauce So three stars...

Slow service for not being busy, took a long time for a medium steak with not much flavor. Probably wouldn't go again.

Server stared to pour tap water without even asking what kind of water we drink. Then brought stale bass, not freshly made. Had to eat everything and run, coz we were hungry and in a rush. Will not come back.

Food was honestly a 5/10 if I'm being honest. Portion size is tiny, prices are pretty high for what it is. I don't mind paying higher prices if the food tasted the price represents, but as I mentioned before, it was mediocre. We ordered two salads and three entrees, so we gave it good chances. The other thing you may want to worry about is finding parking on busy days.

Especially their Beef Wellington. Food is still superb and they make you feel special conversing with you. It's an easy walk from our home to Chadwick's, but my wife and I both agreed no more Chadwick's. The past few times we went it was extremely loud there. The last time was the proverbial last straw. It was insanely loud. If the Rolling Stones were preforming there Mick Jagger would have to ask for everyone to tone it down since the band is being drowned out. We did not enjoy our meal. The host jokingly commented to us "now its quiet" after the table next to us left. You eat at a restaurant once and it's loud you think "Oh well". Twice and you think "crap". Three times and "aye yai yai". Four times...well we're not coming back. You can eat at the Kettle Black, which is a restaurant/bar a couple of blocks away, and take in a Ranger's game and it's still quieter than Chadwick's. That's right a bar is quieter. It's not just us as our son has expressed the same. We are truly saddened, but the upside is there are tons of other great places in Bay Ridge.

it’s typical Brooklyn - American food. . we ordered espresso martini, and it taste like vodka with water and something chocolate flavor made in cold water. Drinks garbage for sure. I will recommend you order in bottle something . Food 4/5 steak was great but to dark I think they not even clean a grill well before make a food. Souses which one comes with meal all garbage, everting else was dump, my side order come basically like I’m in 9am somewhere in dinner , homemade potato with onions this my side? lol ok and this for 270$ my bill. For that price I will go to ANY place in New York and it will be like wow! even taco truck make better food .

Chadwick’s is definitely NOT what it used to be. Last 2 times there the steak was burnt on the outside and and not to my desired temperature inside. The texture of the steak was not of high quality and it had a kind of tangy taste to it. The best thing about the meal was the Crispy fries.

My husband and I were in this restaurant on October 5, 2019 at 6:46 PM (as per picture of the detailed bill) The food was very good. However when we got the bill was a NON-CASH ADJ for $6.36. I asked to speak with the manager because this is not right to conduct business. The manager said that this is the new policy. I told that it is not right, that this means they are trying to not pay taxes. Did not work. I paid the bill with credit card. I am against of cash payments because of taxes. I signed the credit card receipt and I noticed that I did not have my detailed bill attached to my credit card receipt. I detached the detailed bill from the merchant copy and the waiter told me that the bill belongs to the restaurant. I requested my copy. The waiter said that was the restaurant policy. I took a picture of the bill and will report to the NY office and the credit bureau. This is not acceptable. For my understanding this is a clear indication of tax invasion.

Overrated. Overpriced. We spent $450 for four person on set menu. Not including drink.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This place is racist. If you’re a person of color, do yourself a favor and find a steakhouse that’ll serve you with the same respect as their white customers. We had a reservation and the hostess gave our table to another party, so we waited for another. When we were finally seated, we waited over an hour for our food, and our server was so cold in comparison to the treatment of his other customers. The food was alright when it finally arrived but not at all worth the hassle.
