My food was fresh and service was fast! Fries were piping hot and crispy. Spicy chicken was made just how I like it. Pleasantly surprised since I haven’t eaten there in about a year.

Standard fast food, and is especially good if you can get it when the stuff is freshly made. But PLEASE fix the listed hours! They do not stay open until 5 am as is what's currently shown both on Maps and on the Checkers app. In my experience they seem to close at some unannounced time between 1-3 am. It's very annoying when I look forward to grabbing something late at night after work.

So I just left Checkers here on Mount Moriah. Placing my order was a breeze. The clerk was very kind and professional. Customer Service was extraordinarily impressive. He was amazing. BUT..... I get to the window to pay and obtain my order. There was an older guy in the window. I'm a Germ-Phobe and I am a 30+ year Customer Service Personnel. This guy, wiped his face with his left hand, picked up my cup, with his right, swiped my card with the right hand, sat down my card and proceeded to fix my Strawberry Fanta. He then picked my cup up, without any hand coverings, reached down with my cup and scooped out ice. He then put his two fingers inside of the rim of my cup and pushed the soda dispenser, I, frantically, asked him "Please stop, change my cup. He asked me "What did I do?" I respond "Sir, You unknowingly put your two fingers in my cup while u were dispensing Strawberry soda" This man, had the audacity to close the window in my face. Lol. The poor choice of judgement as well as incompetent customer service was hilarious. #1 I do not like drive thru windows but Checkers has always been my late night preference. #2. If I pay any money on anything, especially food, oh believe me, I'm watching for any mistakes, mishaps and pray for no misunderstandings. No hair net over the ice cooler. Hair in a ponytail and no hair net. Then, he gets my food from the guy, and pushes it out the window to me. Like wow. To mistreat me because your fingernails are dark, is really appealing. I've never ever had this type of foolishness to take place. As a former Health Inspector, this is totally unacceptable. And to treat me, outside of kind, was a very very poor sense of intelligence. I'll never ever go back here after dark. I've heard this stuff before from reviews, but it never happened to me! And it will not ever happen again! Lost Cause! Food was perfect, but the attitude from this drive thru window attendant, destroyed my appetite. Totally!

This place decides to close whenever they feel like it. Me and my girl live up the block and after a long night at the hospital we just knew this place would be open so we could eat when we got home. But NO. Guy shuts off the light right in my face @ 2 am when it’s supposed to be open til 5. And they’re ridiculously priced anyway. A small shake is $7 now! This isn’t the first or last time I have went to this location to be told it’s closed during late hours. They close whenever they feel like it. It’s the only place that’s supposed to be “open” late around here. All I’m saying is if you’re hungry late don’t expect this place to be open and honestly the establishment needs to correct the hours they have posted on public sites such as google. Even the side walk up window was down. What’s the purpose of it then? These pics are 10-20 seconds apart.

I remember ordering from this restaurant, then a day later I had fraud charges in my card someone ordered checkers and it wasn't me. Never again.

The service was ridiculous. The food made me sick after eating it. It was hands down the worst checkers location I have been too. The chicken was not thoroughly cooked. The staff were pleasant but inefficient.

Workers were nice... however, when I brought everyone's lunch back to the office only 1 person got their fries and the order of mozzarella sticks was missing despite they gave the marinara sauce. No time to run back to fix the order so here's a review. Even if your order is large, take the time to check even if you hold up the line.

The fries were fresh but the male worker doesn’t wear gloves while preparing your food. You can’t sit and eat.

I was standing watching this guy make my order with no gloves on. Blowing his nose and touching my food grab the fries with his bare hands after blowing his nose this why I do not eat in Brooklyn…

The best part of the meal was probably the drink. I order medium Classic Buffalo wings (combo) and the wings were dry and there was hardly any Buffalo sauce. I also ordered chicken bites and fries box. The bites were dried and did not taste like chicken and the fries were Soggy thank Godness uber refund me some of my money.

Came to pick up my order just for the store to be close smh. I don’t know how the app can take my money without knowing the store is closed. Do better cuz now I gotta call my bank to get me money back 😒

Their employee Zeyad should not be a cashier. Guy has no common sense and cannot do basic math, overcharged me and argued with me when I tried to explain to him why. He charged me for items I never ordered or received and claimed it was for tax, when tax was stated separately on the receipt! Needless to say, first and last time giving this dump any business.

Every time I come to this location the workers have an issue with customers using the rewards program. Every single time. This is the only checkers in this area which I think management takes advantage of knowing that customers have no choice but to return if they want fast food from checkers. So this location has made no improvements. Today’s excuse was that they had no internet so they couldn’t allow me to use the app in person. So the team member suggested I place a mobile order, which also didn’t work because the location is not listed on the checkers app. They are listed on uber but not the actual checkers app. I received no assistance past that. It is ridiculous how they treat customers. Very disappointing.

it makes me sad to admit that I am such a fan of the Fry lovers double, that upon eating one at the location just north of this one, I decided I cannot end the night without another. I’m sure you understand that no words can describe my disappointment upon arriving at this location to discover they are closed at 2:30am despite the posted hours indicating they close at 5am. I try my utmost to leave fair reviews based on the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere, so when I am denied all three of those things, I can leave no other score but the one I’m currently submitting.

Worst food service ever I spent $40 in food could not even get a refund. Food was soggy and smelled spoiled and expire. The location didn’t even have water or soda to buy and manager was very rude. Will not recommend.

Walked in , nothing! 2 men , neither ask may I assist you or I'll be with you shortly! Then the place was NOT clean , even for take out order! Prices are higher than other locations! Damn DISAPPOINTED , WANTED CHECKERS!!!

I like eating from checkers but I don’t think I’ll ever come back here again. I went to checkers around 7:10 PM on 01-01-2025 and there’s this middle eastern man worker who looked around his mid 20s (not racism just describing the worker) and oh my god. If you guys can hire him y’all can hire anyone from the street 😭 this man one of the worst workers from fast food that I’ve ever experienced with. He cannot hear for anything when I order even with other customers. I’ve told him my order and he constantly kept saying “what?” And I’m talking pretty clearly loud even going under the plastic screen so he can see me and hear. Not super loud just enough for him to hear and he repeated my order to make sure it was correct then gave me a whole different order and charged me for it once I it was “ready” 💀 not only that, when I came back home i ordered a side of chicken bites & fries and this man did NOT pack it right cuz the whole thing was side ways and opened 😭 (it was the same man because I saw him packing my order then handed it to me). The bag was ripped open and greasy. I also ordered a side of fries and the fries tasted like waffles and it wasn’t even half ways full.... yall need to change your oil and not keep OLD OIL from since the morning or who knows how long because it didn’t even taste like good waffles.. I’m out here throwing up man checkers got me dying 💀 yall fr needa fire that man cuz holy nuts he’s gonna get checkers shut down for safety food hazard and so much more.

The restaurant employee is very rude and rude, he does not prepare the food properly and works very, very badly.

The food is average. The employees here are SUPER rude. This includes the day shift and night shift. No customer service whatsoever. The managers are just "there". Meanwhile the store is being ran by the rude and unprofessional employees who do whatever they want.

Really this place needs a Zero Rating if it could be given. I bought a Combo meal and two beef hot dogs, I got home the double burger was cold, like rubber and the cheese wasn't melted and the hit dogs were terrible too. I called back told the manager Ms. T to give my money back, she apologized and said that she would like to make it over and that I could come back on whatever date. I went back about 5 days later another manager was at the window, so she called for T and she remembered, attempted to go and redo my order, now she had me wait as if she was cooking it fresh-over. Can you believe it was worse than the first, if you chewed the hot dogs the skin was like rubber, OK this was your last chance, they got reported to their Corporate Office to return my money!

I understand that people make mistakes. I did online order,, so there was no listening issues. Ordered a Burford no cheese, no mustard extra onions. I could feel it was a bit cold. Ok. Whatever. I drive 10 minutes home see that it is a Burford with everything. Drive back, sat in drive thru for 10 minutes no answer. I drive up to the window. They not even look. I give my order again, exactly same wrong again. I park my car go to window, ask for a manager. Young aa guy tall, maybe 25. I tell them you make exactly the same wrong. I ask to speak to mgr. He said he was. This was the same guy who was flirting with a girl who was dancing. His shirt was wrinkled and filthy. I see a older 55 year old aa women who was obviously the manager.she wouldn't talk. Two other people in drive thru behind me because their order wrong. The general mgr of this store has 24 hours to answer this. My order 8:11 got my food at 8:58. It was COLD. I will be going to yum and corporate. I will stand in front of this location with a sign. I don't think I have ever been this upset at a fast food place. They had at least 5 employees who we just standing around, except for a white hair old man, busting his butt. I ask for gm name big boy refused. I will come back Wednesday and stand in front of that window and wait for that rude lazy so called mgr. I will stand their for hours until hat big head fool comes outside and apologizes. Update What's worse, I called corporate, they haven't called back and the owner leaves an email address you can't respond to.

I ordered season fries , got regular but some are sloppy & over cooked.The apple pie is under cooked & has paper attached. The chicken bits are fine. Don’t know about the burger I am so flustered about the rest of my order

I normally like Checkers. I can't recall having bad services It's been awhile since I've been. Kinda was ready for a cheap 🍔 with only cheese, mayo only, and my Husband everything but cheese. So we placed our order. Got to the window, and it's like they couldn't get our order right. Keep repeating and getting it wrong like they could not understand plainly. We constantly telling them how we wanted our 🍔, and they still was repeatedly saying it wrong,, so, we get our food. I looked, and never been sooooo disappointed 😞. I didn't even eat it. It stayed in my refrigerator for 2 days before I threw it away. I will never go back to any Checkers Period. especially the one on Mt. Mariah and Hickory Hill. Only thing that was worth eating was the 🍟.

I came to this location time was 2:38 am. I watched about 5 cars in the drive from that time till 3;22 sit and sit and sit. This is is the absolute biggest joke of a “fast” food place I ever seen in my life. I’ve sat and waited 45 mis just to put my order in and have yet to even get that far. I just looked out the window of the truck and count 29 cars. WAiting. For what? The food had best be almost the most delicious food I’ve ever encountered for the wait to be a hour. It’s not like it’s a 5 star sit down place. I would go home but truth be told this is the only place open. I hope I make it before the place closes. I hear people screaming about the time and wanting a refund. Do better checkers. Do better. Your failing miserable And your management obviously don’t know how to manage a mop bucket. I’m appalled. I will be calling their corporate offices
