Opinions de Fujiyama Brooklyn
The best sushi place!! I've tried eating in and getting takeout. The ambiance in the restaurant is great, and it's clean. The ingredients are fresh, and they give you plenty! If you're unsure what to order, I highly recommend it
Special rolls are fat and plentiful. I got the #15 and #36 special rolls. Regular rolls are a good price. Nice small cute small business
I'm amazed at how delicious and healthy this dish was, tasty, fat-free, perfect for everything. I will definitely be back, and of course I highly recommend it, good price and great service. I loved everything
Absolutely amazing sushi. Great vibes . Quiet place. Definitely recommend

Been eating here for years. Fast delivery, good quality, good prices - great to have this gem in the neighborhood!
My favorite sushi place in the area; better than Bay Ridge Sushi in my opinion. The food is cheap, but delicious. The wait staff is friendly and you get your food in a timely matter. Not to mention it's a cozy place to sit down and eat. Fuji has never disappointed me or my sudden craving for sushi.
Randomly ended up at this place-sushi was fresh, rice perfectly cooked. I had ordered the wrong roll, and the chef kindly made me a new one with no charge. The place was quiet, the people were kind, and the food was great. Highly recommend!
IM OBSESSED WITH THIS PLACE!! Very fresh fish, excellent environment and service, my kids love to go here❤️! I recommend dine in services, instead of take -out though. I love this lovelly local family business! Its a must come in Dyker. We also had made some new favorites to try!
The place is super clean and service is amazing. I always get their fried ice cream on top of my sushi order lol, its so addicting for me. Clean, and beautiful interior! I highly recommend!!
I have been going to this sushi spot for over 10 years. I moved to Staten Island I still come all the way to 13th avenue for sushi because this spot has never let me down. I love the workers, I love the sushi and the prices are great. I don’t know why it took me so long to write this review but if you live nearby take advantage of this neighborhood staple because I sure as hell miss it
This is my cousin's restaurant they are a hard working family with good family work ethic
Great, fresh and inexpensive food. Lovely staff. Highly recommended.

We moved to the neighborhood recently and have fallen in love with Fujiyama! We order from them weekly and take all our friends here. The fish is fresh and tastes amazing. It's one of the most affordable sushi spots in Brooklyn. The waiters are nice and attentive and always make us feel welcome. It's usually never crowded so if you're looking for quick, delicious sushi and sashimi, you HAVE to try Fujiyama :)

The restaurant is located in the Dyker Heights section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. Soup, appetizers, salad, entrees, noodles, bento boxes, sushi, sashimi and party trays are available. The salmon teriyaki bento box included soup or salad, California roll, three shumai, shrimp and vegetable tempura with white rice. The salmon was fresh and slightly breaded. The sushi deluxe included ten pieces of sushi and a California roll. The nabeyaki udon soup was prepared with thick noodles and shrimp tempura on the side, chicken, fish cake, vegetables and a poached egg. The food was tasty. Friendly and helpful staff.

Stopped here after looking up some of the reviews instead of going to my usual place. They gave me a hard time with substituting some of the rolls or changing them around, told me that it was just assorted and I couldn't choose for the box combo which is a first because every other place I've been to have always been able to choose my rolls. Portion size was kind of small. Taste of the food was okay I guess though I didn't particularly care for the sashimi. Won't be going back here
We did take out and the food was horrible. I ordered chicken & shrimp teriyaki and the sauce appeared to be watered down. The spring roll wasn't so bad. My husband's sushi had tiny bits of meat and lots of veggies. The food arrived fast though (hence, the extra star). Maybe if you eat in its better 😕

$18.00 Salmon teriyaki bento box: (Shameful excuse for a meal) I asked for the teriyaki sauce on the side, and on closer examination, I see that it was dredged in flour and DEEP FRIED. The salmon portion was about 2 ounces for what I paid and tasted fishy and not fresh. Pitiful! They also refused to give me the vegetables steamed on the side and said they only batter and deep fry it. The rice portion was pitiful as well. I felt completely unsatisfied and still hungry afterward. I will not return.

Maybe the sushi is good, but the "hot" food is not. Frozen broccoli was served with tepid shrimp teriyaki. Appetizers took 20 minutes. Best part of this meal- hot sake...the ONLY thing that was relatively warm. Place is dirty as well. It's off putting when your server is eating dinner right next to you and when they go to get your order it comes out cold. If they treat in house paying customers like this, I can't imagine ordering takeout from here.
Horrible service. Walked in and sat down. Server did not even ask if we want water or tea. It was a very hot evening and not even sure if air condition was on. It felt warm in the restaurant. She just gave us the menu. There wasn’t anyone in the restaurant but my family. I have to ask do you serve tea? She replied back $1 per cup. Then I asked do you have water? Then she served us water with ice. Never going back again! Didn’t even want to give 1 star. HORRIBLE SERVICE and NO SERVICE! Maybe that is why there was no one inside the restaurant!
