We love Gino’s - it’s the best slice in town
Food is always good, everything 😋
Best pizza of the area and fare price!!!
Best pizza I’ve had ever! Absolutely delicious and unexpected.
Terrific pizza. Close to Barclay's center. Fast service and reasonably priced. Highly recommend this place
My favorite neighborhood pizza! The perfect cheese slice and kind employees.
Always make great pizza and they do it fast! Great neighborhood spot.
Great pizza. Great costumer service. Great prices. They have the trifecta
I love Gino's. My husband and I eat at Gino's like three times a month. Great Pizza 👍
Great great pizza. Love coming to Gino's every time I'm in New York
Slices are loaded with toppings and not greasy, I liked it
Really good margherita and grandma slices, and the guys working here are always so nice.
Great place to come in and have some good Pizza 🍕.
Very nice tasty pizza, loved 👌😋
I always order delivery from here and it always comes on time and the pizza is amazing
Good thin pizza doesn't land in your stomach...2 slices easily
Been Here Several Times, Pizza, Pasta Is Top Notch.. Gino's Doesn't Disappoint.Prices Are Cheap To Moderate
Great pizza, decent price. Been in the nieghborhood 4ev
Great staff, great pizza. Bathroom is small but clean.
It's a sad day after 40yrs of service, they closed permanently so sad.
Busy pizza place with huge, tasty slices and friendly staff.
I’m in heaven! Haven’t been to Brooklyn since I was a little girl. This place definitely took my taste buds there 🤤🥰🥰 Beyond satisfied.
These are my guys at Ginos. I been all over brooklyn sampling pizza and Ginos is the best . The crust is just the right texture and soft while the pizza and sauce stay nice and firm with a great bite of cheese that just melts in your mouth with each bite. They also make a mean very tasty sphegetti with shrimp . OHH MAN.. I LOVE HOW MY GUYS FEED ME .
The pizza is incredible and it’s not to packed this place is perfect
I've been going there since I was a little kid. The pizza is the best all the time. Galic knots are delicious. Fear place to eat hands down.
First timer. Went with a church group. Best pizza I've gotten in a long time.
Truly the best pizza I've tasted...i ordered two slices with extra cheese with pepperoni and the crust alittle crispy so good... Making myself hungry just thinking about it
My favorite pizza shop in Brooklyn. Always having 2-3 slices. Each with a different topping. Their garlic knots are a must have.
Been going here since I was a kid, long time now and it still does not dissapoint
Best pizza, always fresh, always hot. Combination of old school and new style pizza. Been coming since 2004, hope they never leave the neighborhood.
Great old-school place, friendly people who work here, good pizza
One of my favorites pizza and food are nicely prepare, great service. Staff is great and friendly!!! Great spot too!
Its decent pizza. It was fast and staff is friendly
My favorite pizza spot in Brooklyn. Not only their pizza is great but their staff and environment 🥰🫶🏽
Good pizza and very reasonably priced. Good variety of pizzas to choose from as well. They have the typical pizzeria menu and one day will try something different. Service is good, as the 3-4 guys behind the counter are always very pleasant. Go here before Isles games to avoid getting robbed in the Barclays Center. Easily accessible from the Bergen street Sunday exit which is nice too.
I have lived on the same block as Gino's for probably 9-10 years and they are one to impress. They always give you warm pizza, and they have the best service. My mother was reading the reviews to other pizza places and said, "I don't need to go anywhere fancy, I can just go up the block to the best Pizza place ever!"
They are the best. When I’m in the area, I make it my business to stop by and pick up a couple of slices. Plain, veggie, chicken parm slices are my favorites. Good service too. See you guys again soon!!
I had my first NY slice here after a hockey game a few blocks away. The day was March 3,2020. The slice was excellent and the restaurant was clean. The bathroom was clean and stocked. I had to wipe the table but that was ok. I thank them for the service provided. They kept me safe just a few weeks before the tragedy.
I tried many pizzas all over Midtown and downtown during my stay. The cab driver said "Ahhh, you gotta go to Brooklyn". So, we went to Brooklyn and I spotted Ginos. I am super happy I did. It is the best pie I have ever eaten. I'll be coming back to Brooklyn if nothing else but to stop by this place for lunch. No A/C but that was a small price to pay for the amazingness this place is serving up.
We arrived here by mistake, on our first day in New York. We were looking for a quick and light meal, and not very expensive. The place is small and homely, gives great service and the food is absolutely delicious! 2 slices (extra large), Greek salad and drinks cost us about $ 20. I highly recommend!
Classic New York City Pizza, like the kind I grew up with. Huge quality slices to the point and worth the price. I am a regular.
Some of the best pizza I've had. The pizza is fairly large and cheesy. The crust are thick yet light and is tasty on its own.
They have the best New York style pizza in the area just a classic slice to get you right the workers are amazing and extremely generous
Delicious pizza each and every time. Staff is real nice as well. I grew up eating this pizza for years, so it’s one of my fave pizza spots.
I was in Brooklyn I’m from Philly I know nothing about this shop but the exterior told me the pizza was good just because the building was old just look like a neighborhood staple I’m 43 the best pizza I ever had
RIP Gino's!!!! We are beyond bereft that this great neighborhood spot is gone. It was our Friday night "go to" for years! We will miss Bobby, Harry, Sergio and the whole crew. I only hope they reopen in another location, but with continued death of small businesses in thr Slope/Heights, unfortunately, I won't hold my breath. So sad to see them go !
RIP Gino’s, now closed bec new landlord pushing them out after 40+ years?! Was a family run and great slice shop, will be missed!
Im So SAD that they shut down. My go to place for a slice. Huge and delicious slices. Ginos will be missed
This has been an OG spot in the neighborhood. I love their pizza. Sad to see it has closed after 40 years. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.
A true NYC pizza. Delicious and piping hot!
Chino's is a wonderful pizzeria. Food is always fresh and good and the slices are always 🍕 ginormous. I like the chicken and broccoli slice and their mozzarella sticks my favorites . And they make you feel right at home. Val
No frills spot with the best slices in town. Staff are always friendly and seem genuinely happy to serve their customers. Great food.
I ordered a slice of deep dish, cheese pizza. The sauce was authentically delicious. It had a good, fresh flavour and the dough was soft and thick with a nice crunch on the crust. I will come back again the next time I’m in New York! Thank you Gino’s Pizzeria!
I work at the barclays center and I always come here on my breaks. I can definitely say they have the best pizza hands down . I love the caesar salad pizza especially. Oh & the workers are always smiling, very helpful and respectful. love it here !
Stopped in one day on my way home work. I can finally say that my quest for the best NY pizza is finally over! This is by far the BEST pizza I've ever had in my life! The crust was a perfect inbetween of not too thick and not too thin, right amount of cheese, plentiful pepperoni, and some really good sauce. Oh and the slices are HUGE. The picture doesn't do it justice, in person 1 slice from them is the equivalent of ordering 2 slices from another place. A little bit expensive for a couple slices but given the quality and size as well as the excellent service, I will definitely be coming back here again!
Delicious when order fresh. ITS NOT THIN CRUST.
Great pizza, nice price. Good pizza. Very dirty bathrooms. Very little people.
Great food. Service was great
Great pizza, fast service. Everything was fresh and clean. Great place to get a quick slice, sit for a while and enjoy a hot fresh pizza.
I really enjoyed my chicken parm sub here, the mozzarella was so fresh. My coworker had one of the re heated chicken things and he was not as impressed but I can't speak to that.
not my favorite pizza, but good location & i like that they have bathrooms for customers!
Pizza is okay no big deal buffalo wings is so so
The food is decent and you get a good amount but the meals can be costly in there. Meat sauce is $5 extra in your entrees.
The pizza was alright and enjoyable. Sadly, their choices in television stinks. Every time I go there, they insist on putting on Fox News, so I can't really enjoy the pizza there.
The pizza is good, but the last 3 times that i ordered they sent me the wrong pizza, always the same order they making the wrong pizza
Pretty mediocre. Got the eggplant pizza delivered. Not enough sauce and the crust was a too soft and dry.
Two plain slices with hardly anything flavorful about the cheese, sauce, or crust... and it'll cost you $7!
Solid pizza. Got a poor batch of pasta there on more than one occasion though. I wish the cooks would take out the green center of their garlic before using it, since it makes their pasta sauce super bitter. It’s not a hard step and it would drastically improve the taste of their pasta sauces.
Good crust but sauce is totally bland. It’s like $1 pizza quality. High reviews must be coming from clueless tourists.
The pizza is blah. Don't be fooled by the reviews. They must have had their family and friends do the reviews. I didn't even finish my second slice and I was hungry! I am going to another pizzeria.
We ordered delivery through Slice. We got a large pepperoni and mushroom that cost $35 ($23 base + $12 for two toppings). For $6 per topping I would've expected more than a dozen pepperoni on only half the slices.
This was one of my favorite pizzeria to go to. However more than once I’ve come in here looking to order zeppoles. Depending on who is taking my order they would lie a say they don’t make them there. When I call in and place and order it’s perfectly fine they’ll make the zeppole. If you don’t sell it that’s one thing. But please don’t pick a choose when you want to offer it. Especially when your costumer has a taste for it.
👎
Awful service. Will never order there again. Order wasn’t delivered on time and then they stopped taking calls.
Over priced chicken roll taste was not that great
The customer service over the phone horrible this the second time they rushed me off the phone so disrespectful smh
2023 update: Quality is no better and prices have increased. Try Parashades across the street. So happy they opened. This is an example of how New Yorkers' love of pizza allows bad restaurants to survive. The crust has a soft texture with no chew. The toppings range from overly salty to dry or even overloaded, disturbing the texture of the bake. Pasta, heros, all the same story. One time I ordered a cannoli: they pulled out a clamshell from the fridge that was probably sitting around for days. The thing squished in my fingers like soft cake.
TOO HOT ! Was rude and didn’t want to change my pizza after i said it was too hot and didn’t want it HOT .
Please DON'T ever use your credit card here. My family has been going to this pizzeria for 2 years now. My mom made a new debit card and used it strictly for direct deposit from her job, and to pay the phone bill. Nothing else. We used the card here one time, and they spent 15 minutes passing it around from employee to employee. I saw one of them writing something down on a paper while looking at the card, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I we just noticed a bunch of purchases made online from her card. We had to report the fraud. It started later in the week from the pizza purchase. If you choose to come here, just pay cash. I am disappointed.
I place an order for bake ziti as usual mind you i've been doing this for a long time marinara sauce and i are not friends i order the bake ziti with the white sauce i was told 30 minutes 13 minutes later my door bell rang and my food was here yay nope what I received was pasta not well cook with alfredo sauce so i call one guy started arguing and another one took the phone and continued the argument they were rude no apologies nothing. I will never eat there this pizzeria has been in this neighborhood more a very longtime.
