The best yummy Chinese food
Great service great food
Love everything about this place
I like the wonton soup
People are very friendly & remember you everytime you go in.
Just amazing people very simple and straight to the point.
Awesome food nice Service
There the best around the area and most convenient
super nice and food tastes great ! best spot around here to be honest :)
Place looks cleaner than most Chinese restaurants I've seen
Excellent food. The excellent people behind the counter.
One of the best local Chinese spots. Their food is consistently good. Both the morning and the night counter ladies are very sweet and friendly.
Love this place. Food is always fresh tasting and delicious. Much better than other places nearby which are always greasy. Good prices and friendly staff.
great food; great service and always so kind; love the free soda inclusion. This is my fave local spot! :)
Service was fast and staff was friendly. Great and fresh tasting food and great great price. Would recommend 100%. Deliciousssss
Solid Chinese takeout spot. The workers are very nice. They always make my order to my request especially if I ask to have less brown sauce with my chicken and broccoli.
Great place! I've been going for years and it is by far the best Chinese food spot in the area! I tried them all and this is it! BTW I love how they pickup the phone, very friendly. Delivery is super fast!
well deserved of the michelin guide! excellent service from our server boomerang and the food was delicious. i recommend making a reservation as it gets busy in the evening. we live in fort greene and this is now our favorite thai spot in the area. highly recommend the pomelo salad, so good!
Wow! Outstanding everything! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive. The food was absolutely spectacular—bursting with incredible flavors in every single bite. You can truly taste the freshness and care that goes into each dish. The best feeling is leaving a restaurant completely satisfied yet feeling like you just enjoyed clean, high-quality food. We can’t wait to go back. Glin Thai Restaurant is a must-visit!
My friends took me here to celebrate my birthday, and everything was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was great, cozy and perfect for a special occasion. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially JB, who provided excellent service with a warm smile and made the experience even more memorable. Overall, everything was perfect. Highly recommended! 🌟🍽️
Our first time here, the food is great and the service was amazing. Eden was helping us for the menu and recommendations.. we ordered 3 dishes and dessert. Every meal came in perfect taste. The chef is a master. We loved thai food . But Glin is the best so far I found. We will be back .. 5 star 🌟
I dine at this Thai restaurant over the holidays and I can see why they were selected to be in the Michelin Guide 2025. The floral decorations and creative wallpaper give ease and relaxation to its patrons. The low lighting and music makes this a perfect opportunity for birthday celebration, date nights, or just a fancy night out with friends and/or family. The food were phenomenal! My family and I enjoy the Ghang Phed Ped Yang (Duck Curry) the most. The curry was sweeten by the coconut milk, but it was not overly creamy. The bell peppers and basil gave it a nice kick, but did not make it too spicy. The curry was perfect with the rice and the crispy duck was tender and juicy too! Another favorite of ours was the Kra Pow Nuer. The Short ribs are crispy and flavorful. You can definitely tastes the various seasoning and spices used. The Crying Tiger was the dish that surprised me the most. I was worried that the grilled strip loin would be chewy or dry, but it was actually very tender and juicy! The spicy sauce was a nice touch to the meat, adding more flavor to the rice powder and fried garlic. I was disappointed that the Ghang Som Goong (Southern Curry) was sold out. Hopefully, when I return, I will get to try it!
I loved the food here; every dish was amazing. However, I was disappointed with the seating arrangement by the hostess. There were three of us, and I'm pregnant, so we waited in line for over half an hour. There were only bar seats available, and we specifically told the hostess that we wanted to order our appetizers and drinks first, and she would help us move to a different table later. She agreed, but didn't actually do that. She seated the customers behind us first. After we repeatedly asked, we learned that a four-person table (two tables) near the door had been vacated, but she separated the tables so the three of us could only share one table. The tables in the restaurant were small; we barely had enough room for our three appetizers, let alone our main courses. Moreover, the space was very small, and my pregnant belly was very big, so I felt very uncomfortable! Luckily, we met a waiter named Aiden! He was incredibly patient and friendly. He found us a suitable table and apologized profusely for having to move us twice. When changing our cutlery, he even remembered who had used which cutlery. Aiden's attentiveness greatly improved our initial unpleasantness. I would love to come back just for the food and Aiden's service!
I’ll summarize to begin for those who don’t want to read paragraphs of a food review; The atmosphere was amazing, the service was phenomenal, and the food was great. Despite being a little cramped, the moody lighting, floral accents and overall presentation of the place more than made up for the lack of space. Not to mention, everything was clean and not sticky in the slightest (a pet peeve of mine). The music left a bit to be desired in a sense that it didn’t quite match the vibe of the rest of the place, but I can’t complain too much since they played nothing but bangers (plus, it was a Friday night). The service was also a huge highlight, the servers are friendly, attentive, and have surprisingly sharp ears. Our water, which we picked from a selection of tap, still, or seltzer, was never empty. And they were always happy, and quick to answer any questions. Now onto food, which would be the longest part of this review. Everything was wonderfully prepared, portioned well, and steaming upon being served. I went with 3 other people, all of which are actually pretty picky eaters, and there was virtually nothing they, or I, didn’t love. We did go all out, appetizers, main course, and dessert, so the food portion of this review is fairly comprehensive. To start, we got the Thai Dumplings, Chicken Satay, and Thai Chicken wings. At the risk of ranting, I’ll just say all plates were essentially licked clean. For our main courses, we got 2 Crying Tigers, Pad Thai Noodles, and the Crab Fried Rice. Now I wouldn’t comment on food I didn’t try, which is great because I 100% stole a bite of everyone’s food. The Crab Fried Rice was soft, fresh and flavorful, my personal least favorite of the dishes was the Pad Thai noodles but that’s not to say it also wasn’t wonderfully prepared— just not my thing— and the Crying Tigers were delicious (my only complaint would be the sear was a little weak, but the flavor made it hard to be mad at it, and they came with a delicious spicy dipping sauce). For dessert, we got 2 Mango Sticky Rices. The rice was fresh, wasn’t too sweet, and the ratio of rice to mango was perfect. Speaking of sweet, we did get 3 Thai Iced Teas and I am happy to report they were also delicious, again, not too sweet (which is something I’m pretty picky about when it comes to Thai Tea). I was surprisingly delighted with the great time I had at this restaurant considering the saturation of subpar Thai restaurants. But rest assured, this is not one of them. I would 100% come again, and will be recommending this restaurant to any stranger who so much smiles at me.
Excellent service thanks to Tit, she was very kind and helpful. I loved the Pad See Ew Chicken and Beef Shank Massaman (the curry was very flavorful & roti was light and airy). Would skip the dessert personally but, otherwise all the dishes were 10 / 10. Ambiance was welcoming and interior was very pretty (I loved the floral setup). Would recommend to all in the neighborhood !
There are plenty good Thai restaurants around us and weren't really expecting much when we stumbled in the door on a hot Saturday afternoon at 3 pm. Boy, were we wrong! We ordered the mangosteen salad, the Ghang Phed Ped Yang (Duck Curry), the Pla Neung Manow Steamed whole de-boned Branzino and theBeef Shank Massaman. They were all unbelievably good. The prices are on the high side but the quality of the ingredients is top notch and well justified. The service was very attentive and polite and easily made us feel at home.

Delicious Chinese food 💯
Good food, good prices, quick delivery
This is my go-to Chinese take out spot. The food is always good, and they are the nicest people. It’s your typical no-frills lunch specials. Anything in garlic sauce is outstanding.
Glin Thai Bistro truly lives up to its high ratings. From the atmosphere to food quality, service, and overall value for money, everything is impressive and well above average for a neighborhood Thai spot. Here’s what I ordered: •Thai Dumpling: Thick and flavorful with a nicely seasoned filling. The only downside is the dipping sauce, which runs a bit too sweet. •Chive Pancake: Crispy on the outside and soft inside. It can get a little greasy after a few bites, but the dipping sauce helps balance it out. •Tom Yum Hotpot: Generous portion with shrimp, squid, mussels, and assorted mushrooms. The heavy use of cilantro adds a unique aroma that sets it apart from typical tom yum soups. The flavor leans slightly too sour, but overall it’s still worth trying. •Pad Thai Goong: This was the weakest dish, not much wok aroma, and the flavor felt somewhat flat. •Crab Curry: Packed with plenty of real crab meat and a richly flavored curry. Excellent when paired with rice, and arguably the standout dish of the meal. Overall, Glin Thai Bistro is a solid choice for anyone seeking Thai food that’s comfortably above average in every aspect. It’s a place I’d gladly return to.
What a beautiful restaurant! The floral decor immediately caught my eye and created such a cozy atmosphere as we walked in. The waitress was very friendly and, upon learning it was our first visit, quickly recommended a few dishes. Everything we tried was delicious, and we were especially impressed by their house-made noodles. However, the portions were on the smaller side—we still felt a bit hungry after two appetizers and two main dishes between two adults and a child.
Visited again recently. Still good but drinks were very slow and arrived moments before our food did. When we asked about our drinks not arriving we were told a big group just ordered ahead of us…

Yummy Thai food and very nice service here. The drinks were delicious. Very much a local spot for those in the Fort Greene / Downtown Brooklyn area.
i prefer the other one down the road, this tasted fine
The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Chinese cuisine and is a takeout with several tables for dining in. I ordered the shrimp and lobster sauce. The shrimp were a nice size. The sauce was very plain and had no meat with several mushrooms. The chicken chow fun had little flavor or taste. The roast pork fried rice was yellow rice with a few specks of roast pork. The wonton soup had little flavor with no meat or vegetables. The dim sum were small. The roast pork egg roll had little pork. The food was very average in taste.

Not to totally destroy the place, this was not one of my best eating experiences 😪.
I ordered 2 lunch specials of general tso chicken with fried rice and coke, the chicken was awful, barely any chicken just dough, same for the sesame chicken my second order. In the past with the original owner, the food was way better, this owner is using sub par ingredients.
Small portions and no taste. Never again
I ordered chicken wings and beef w oyster sauce. I asked for less vege. I ended up with more vege than beef must've been 8 small pieces of beef. NEVER AGAIN! THE CONTANER WAS SMALL ENOUGH! Service is going downhill! Shame on you!
Do not waste your money the food is not good. on top of the taste they barley give you any meat, just 90% rice. I ordered sweet and sour chicken Commination Order got 10 PIECES of chicken it was mostly dough no chicken, then I asked for them to put Barbeque sauce because I don't like the S&S sauce lady gonna say $1.50 to squirt some sauce on my order. Never again will I eat at a place like this. I ignored the Red flag when they charged the man in front of me $1 for 1 paper plate... times may be hard but they are not that hard! get a small business loan/ grant!
