Opinions de Konoha Yakitori Brooklyn
This is my favorite ramen place! I always get the same order every time just because I am a creature of habit and this is my comfort meal now. But I always start with a tuna avocado roll, their tuna is so fresh and yummy. Then get the koncha original ramen. The pork falls apart, the broth is so good and healing and the ramen noodles are perfect. And I always get the spicy chili paste on the side and mix it in myself. Always my go to hangover meal on a rainy day. The service is great so nice and accommodating. Always quick and efficient. Really nice people. Go check this place out!
Ive been 3 times now and its now one of my neighborhood favorites. Tiger roll is my favorite.
great quiet sushi spot! had taboyaki for the first time and really enjoyed it. I also tried the tiger roll as well as some sashimi a la carte and was very pleased. excellent service too!
Consistently knocks it out of the park. Perfectly charred skewers, solid sushi, and the cherry on top, a little sauce to go with everything (don’t skip the soybean paste). The staff is kind and attentive. You never know what order things will come out in, but it only adds to the experience.
We live in the neighborhood and go to Konoha every 1-2 weeks. We LOVE it there. The food is authentic and delicious. The waitstaff are so kind (shoutout to Nobu!) and always make us feel at home. One time, we asked if they could seat a party of 10 on short notice (we had to bring our visiting family to our favorite ramen shop!), and the team at Konoha was so accommodating despite the short notice. We bring all our visiting friends there now. Go check out this neighborhood gem!!
Ramen was delicious although the portions were slightly smaller than what I would typically expect. Shredded chicken as a topping for the miso ramen was interested but I would definitely get the chashu in the future (which was absolutely immaculate). The real star of the show for me was the yakitori / skewers. I only had the green onion and pork skewer but it was absolutely amazing; the pork was super juicy, the sauce was bright and savory, and the prices for those skewers was really unbeatable. Will definitely be going back to this one.
When I saw that this place had 97 reviews and 4.9 stars I figured it would be very good but it absolutely blew my mind. The tonkatsu ramen is was so delicious I'm still in shock. Service was great, atmosphere very low-key and relaxed. Fantastic experience, will be back
Great place and the people are so friendly. We come here very often and it never gets old. Just a great spot in general.
Restaurant is very clean, doors/windows kept open for pleasant ventilation & fresh air. Food is delicious, and dishes are sent out in sets, rather than all at once which is pleasant. Frequent water refills. Service is very polite and welcoming. I recommend : D
The dumplings were sooo good and delicious, next time I want a lot a lot lot more then just six.
Cute and cozy spot. Great food, service and a nice ambiance for a cozy meal
Hey there! I definitely recommend trying out this restaurant. The food is amazing - everything I've tried has been absolutely delicious. From the presentation to the taste, it's all top-notch. The meats are particularly fresh and tasty, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this place enough - you won't be disappointed! ❤️🙏
This is the best ramen in the area. I lived in Tokyo for 12 years and try every ramen place I can. LOADS better than Ramen Danbo or Kyu-Ramen. Also one of the few places that serves yakitori. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend this place when not wanting to venture into Manhattan.
Highly recommend! Menu is delicious and the service is stellar.
Best ramen in NYC (the world???). The people are unbelievable and kind. We get so many customizations and they are always so happy to oblige. We literally go here every single week.
THE Tonkotsu Ramen!!!! Yo it is these BEST ramen in Brooklyn and Manhattan for sure. Like why go to Japan when this place is in Park Slope. Like the layers of flavors is so perfect! All the ingredients blends amazingly. I literally licked my chopsticks 🥢. Who does that?! I've had a lot of ramen and this one for sure is better than Ramen Danbo and the service is great as well. Staff is so friendly and helpful. The prices are RESPECTABLE! I value a place that doesn't upcharge the customer because they know the quality of their food will bring you back as customers. And they serve sushi, nigiri, sashimi and so many types yakitori to have a fun and different experience every time. I'm really happy I found this spot.
A friend and I had a lovely dinner here this evening, with attentive staff, quick service, and an all around wonderful time. The skewers are super fresh and yummy, especially the seafood! The sushi is also really reasonably priced and yum! Give this place a try!
Cozy place, warm service, and delicious food. Love the Yakitori mixed set, ramen, everything.
The best Tonkatsu Ramen in nyc. Hands down. It’s comparable if not better than the rich, milky, umami broth in Japan. Not too salty, nice and rich, not greasy. Their sushi and makis are no slouch either, the spicy tuna is actually spicy and not full of filler. Service is immaculate, waiters are super attentive, nice and sharp.
We had a delicious meal at Konoha! We tried the Konoha yakitori sampler platter along with the yaki onigiri, shishito peppers, and grilled eggplant. The service was very friendly and attentive. The yakitori sampler platter was big enough to share and had a lot of variety. Favorite skewers included the yaki onigiri and the skirt steak. No bad bites. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Glad to have another great neighborhood restaurant!
Great affordable local spot. Yakitori and sushi were both really nice and service was good. Didn’t get the ramen.
I've been here three times to try the sushi, ramen, and their yakitori set, and I've got to say, not many places do one of those things well, but Konoha manages to excel in all three! You have to try the Konoha Ramen and the yakitori set and (add an extra yakitori chicken skin). But what sets this place apart is the friendliness and service of the staff and chefs! Solid, solid spot in BK.
The first time I came here with my partner, we enjoyed the intimacy and catering to that a regular would receive, and the second time they said, “Nice to see you again!” upon our arrival. That should sum up the atmosphere of this restaurant, which speaks no volumes to the caliber of food they serve. I recommend this place to everyone. You should go.
This is swiftly becoming a new favorite, the yakitori sets are amazing and well priced. The ramen broth is rich and filling with bouncy noodles and fresh ingredients. After the meal they gave us some green tea and all in all made a good experience great. The atmosphere is quiet and perfect for hanging out. Highly recommend!
Food was incredible. The staff was incredibly kind and patient - when we left our phone they helped us retrieve it without any issue.
Everything was great. Food well portioned and absolutely delicious. Well worth the price. So good I almost don't want to tell my friends
I can eat there everyday ! Better to let you discover by yourself :) Everything is good, and it goes well with the smiles of the workers.
A wide variety of delicious food with incredibly warm service. The chicken yakitori set was delicious and delightfully, the Konoha ramen was filling and rich without being too much. Looking forward to coming back soon and trying even more delicious food
so great! everyone was so nice and the food was so good. really good spicy tuna roll
Fantastic food amazing service - everything we tried was brilliant crisp beautiful flavors - apparently my sons loved the beef skewers and beef set was totally stand out - yellowfin and sashimi - so delicate and soft - and the fancy rolls were also delightful. Service was outstanding - the Nepali team are such a delight - can’t recommend highly enough.
Unexpectedly found this place and so happy about it! Definitely will be back :) everything tastes incredibly and staff is amazing !!!
My assumptions about this type of food were wrong. Super friendly, helpful, descriptive. Sharing costs makes this place worth it. Their cooking creates impressions. This spot earned my loyalty.
I recommend Konoha Yakitor. It has an amazing atmosphere with great staff. Their food is delicious. I had liver, pork, mushroom skewers for a reasonable price and it was FIRE. You should stop by with friends and enjoys the skewers meats with beers.
Been eyeing this place for months and I finally got to visit the other week with my bf. It caught my eye because there’s something on the menu for everyone - from yakitori, ramen, sushi, some different bowls. We tried a few different skewers and some sushi and I got a salmon don. The yakitori is cooked on an electric grill and I definitely taste the difference with charcoal which is what I’m used to. It was still satisfying though and what really can’t be beat is the price. I especially enjoyed the salmon don. The salmon slices were so soft and loved the shiso leaves in there also. The ikura was also on point. It was just a great casual but satisfying little outing. Also loved how locked in the staff were. Really appreciate the service as a fellow industry member. Will be back! Thank you! Ps. The only thing I would suggest bettering is the music choice! It was a bit too pop-normy and loud for my taste and would’ve enjoyed my time even more if there wasn’t as much mall-music in such a nice restaurant!
Amazing food. The ramen tastes so delicious. The meat is so flavorful and tender. And the noodles are freshly made. The service is incredible. Thank you!
Was looking in the area for sushi and yakitori, and was very surprised with the quality of the food and how impeccable the service is. It’s a very nice environment and my very hard-to-please father, was equally as impressed 🥳Would make a special trip from south Brooklyn to eat here again. Staff is super nice and knowledgeable
The first shout out goes to our servers that went above and beyond for us. They made our already great dining experience even better. The yakitori mix set was a hit, and we also got some seaweed salad which had the perfect texture, and some very flavourful takoyaki. Everything was very good and again, amazing service at a quaint neighbour gem. We will definitely come back for their ramen and sushi which looked amazing!
Konoha Yakitori is a great little restaurant that you shouldn't pass up! They've got a small, concentrated menu that's delicious. The beef yakitori skewers are fantastic and the takoyaki was piping hot and fresh, too! I tried the signature Konoha ramen and was not disappointed. The staff is also super kind and very friendly! Would definitely recommend checking them out for a relaxing and charming atmosphere with great Japanese food.
Great food with exceptional service. After discovering this new spot in the neighborhood we stopped by for dinner. The spot boasts cozy ambience and a menu that celebrates the art of skewered grilling. We thoroughly enjoyed all our meal. We ordered Shrimp tempura and Yellowtail for appetizer, Chef special roll, Harami/Kalbi/Chicken yakitori and ended with lovely green tea cake dessert. Every bite was testament of chefs skill and dedication to quality ingredients. The service was very attentive without being intrusive. Overall, Konoha exceeded our expectations with its delicious food, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service. Whether you're a yakitori enthusiast or new to Japanese cuisine, this place is definitely worth a visit. I will definitely be returning to explore other options on the menu.
Went here two nights in a row last week and sampled a lot of the menu. My favorite things are the karaage, salmon lover roll, tonkotsu ramen and tan tan ramen. As for yakitori, the skirt steak and short ribs are both great, but don’t sleep on the eggplant! The sauce they put on it is insane. My guy Nobu also recommended I try the pork neck, which was fatty but delicious. Love this place!
We had a great time here on a Saturday night. The space is small but the chefs and staff are so nice and welcoming. We had the NY Roll and Konoha Yakitori Mix Set and it was delicious! We sat at the bar right in front of the grill and they grilled every item with care. We also ordered the lamb chop which was amazing! Well-priced and excellent service. Looking forward to coming back and trying more menu items.
Had a wild night before coming here, and the rain made this the perfect spot for a nice bowl of ramen. The atmosphere is calming and two sushi chefs are preparing dishes front of house. Ordered pork gyoza, the spicy tuna roll, avocado + salmon roll, the miso ramen and the Tonkotsu Ramen (Pork). I appreciate that this place gives you everything your ramen needs without charging for each addition like some other spots. Everything was fresh, and made with care; the sushi was fantastic, the ramen noodles were firm and the gyoza was sinfully good; I wanted another set. There was a lunch special where ramen + your choice of roll was $20. Such an unexpected experience and I will likely visit again. *The service was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Konoha is our favorite Japanese restaurant in Park Slope! We come here regularly for their lunch specials and also to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, etc. with friends and family. For lunch today we shared a Ramen & Sushi Combo (lunch special, and we chose Tonkotsu Ramen + Spider Roll) and a sushi deluxe (from the regular menu). Everything was yummy and the broth of the ramen was to die for. Who would have thought a restaurant with a niche offering of yakitori could do ramen better than a ramen specialty shop? I wish there was a way for me to tell all those people waiting 20 minutes outside some ramen specialty shop to come to Konoha for the most amazing ramen! We missed our beloved yakitori today...should have brought friends along to share more dishes! Konoha has the friendliest, attentive, and mindful staff who are really focused on customer service. We feel so comfortable and well taken of at Konoha that dining there not only satisfies our palates but also warms our hearts.
Yummy, yummy food, most attentive and friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and very reasonably priced! We tried their sushi, yakitori, and ramen, and we practically licked the plates and bowls! It is not easy to do all three categories of food well in the same restaurant. We learned that they have been opened for just one month, and feel so happy to have this new addition to Park Slope that has become one of our favorite places to frequent in the neighborhood!
My first time at this restaurant and the menu offered a broad variety of options and the food was tasty and plated well! The staff provided excellent customer service and the resto was toasty on a bitterly cold day. Highly recommended!
Outstanding japanese restaurant with high quality food, large serving size, friendly waiters, okay prices and a warm ambience. It’s not large, so it doesn’t get too loud. Highly recommended!
Was very pleasantly surprised by how good this place was. Wasn’t expecting much but it was some of the best ramen I’ve had in NYC. I got the tonkatsu (with chashu well done) and my girlfriend got the veggie ramen. Both were incredible. Will definitely be coming back and trying the yakitori and other apps.
Really enjoyed the food at this spot, as well the staff and the ambience. They do need to make the spicy paste spicy, tho. The portions and the price are great!
Very nice staff, reasonable prices and really tasty ramen and sushi. Came in on a rainy Sunday night and they were so nice and quick and not overbearing. My son only eats one kind of sushi, salmon, avocado and cream cheese aka fresh Philly and they bailed it. Also recommended the signature ramen, yakitori sampler and the Naruto roll. Great place and I will for sure be back when we are in NYC again
Loved this place! The ramen Tonkatsu was incredibly delicious, the staff were super friendly, and the food came out very quickly. I’ll definitely be back!
Really good Tonkotsu ramen! The broth was perfect, although the chashu had a bit of pork smell but overall was a satisfying meal
We were three people that came in for lunch and had the chicken Ramen and vegetarian Ramen. The lunch menu of Ramen and Sushi for $22 is an excellent deal. The sushi (salmon and avocado) was fresh and really good and the chicken Ramen also special and very tasty (even though we didn’t care much for the breast of chicken itself in the soup). A bit of a shame that the vegetarian Ramen doesn’t come with an egg, but one can be added for a small extra cost.
Another great ramen spot in the area! This place did not disappoint with extra friendly staff and quick serving times. I got the miso ramen which was delicious and a big portion. Definitely know I’ll be coming back sometime soon but I’d highly recommend that you stop by if you’re in the area.
- Overall experience was great. - Had a party of four and our baby. - Staff is really friendly and accommodating with our baby. - It was not busy when we went and the staff was really attentive. - Very good variety of options so there is something for everyone to eat. - Food tasted great. We had the kaarage chicken, chicken Yakitori, spicy miso ramen, and several rolls.
YAKITORI ✔️ SUSHI ✔️ RAMEN ✔️ 🇯🇵 This small restaurant can do it all! Very good yakitori skewers and sushi rolls. The Takoyaki squid balls is always good and compliments the beer 🍺. Not a space for large groups but perfect for a couple. There are better yakitori places in Manhattan but this is a convenient location in Park Slope Brooklyn. Overall, delicious food and great service, friendly staff! Highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loved my yakitori experience in Brooklyn! Just 5mins walk from where we stayed.. very low-key little restaurant with friendly staff, and great skews and Ramen! I have to say this is one of the best ramen place I been to. We had Tonkotsu. Great soup base and chewy noodle. Yum.. and we had the 10 different skews. And different sushi. My family favorite appetizer is tuna pizza. It is like tuna sashimi on top of friend onion pancake. Great combo. Also had salmon don. That was highly recommend by my family as well! Bottom line, everything was great! At the end they gave us mochi ice cream to celebrate 🥳 birthday 🎂! So sweet... If I ever go back to the area, I will definitely go there again!
Had the Original Ramen and the Yakitori Mix Set. The ramen broth was surprisingly light for how flavorful it was (in a good way), pork was very tender, and the ramen noodles were perfectly made. The yakitori mix set was pretty good; their grilled technique was on par with other traditional yakitori places (meat still juicy& flavorful w even charring). Kunga was a very polite and attentive server, and Nobu was very friendly and spoke of how everyone making the food comes from a long background of working in Japanese restaurants. Their experience was definitely tasted through the quality of the 2 dishes we tried. Would be helpful in the future to have hooks for bags/umbrellas at the side counter seating, but otherwise, looking forward to coming back (we were told to try the sushi next time :)
The service here is absolutely amazing, shout out to our server we came here on a Friday night on 06/20/2025 and our server did an amazing job with recommending what to get and making sure to always service the table and just talking to us. The yakitori was absolutely amazing, try the steak and lamb. The ramen here is an absolute banger tbh the best I’ve had in a long awhile and the price was great. Very budget friendly.
This is our go-to sushi and ramen spot. We originally came for the ramen, but the sushi completely won us over too—it’s absolutely amazing. Everything is consistently delicious, and we now come here weekly. Truly one of those places you can’t stop going back to. Highly recommend!
I don’t usually write reviews, but this place truly deserves one. The food was amazing. I tried almost all of their yakitori/skewers and not a single one disappointed — everything was delicious. I also had the salmon sushi and it was sooo good. Overall, a great spot and definitely worth coming back to. Highly recommend!
Impeccable work by the staff, perfect date, hangout cozy place, I felt moved by their decorations and the way it looks, We’re coming back, the Ramen is smooth and delicious, the ingredients tasted fresh and the smells very appetizing, nevertheless I must say that I got lucky trying some new Ramen spot with my dearest
went here after a long day of ice skating. best decision ever! usually i find ramen to be bland but i got the chicken one and it was soooo flavorful and comforting. we got the karaage too and it was the perfect amount of crispy and tender chicken. there was a cute smiley face drawn on our sauce and it made us smile :) service was excellent and the vibes were so nice and cozy. would definitely come again!
An incredible neighborhood spot. Great casual date night atmosphere with excellent service and incredible food. The salmon roll was so delicious and fresh we got a second one. We tried something from each section of the menu and everything was 10/10 quality across the board. The taste was comparable to yakitori places I went to in Osaka. Seriously wonderful ❤️❤️
First time visiting and I can say it’s a very cozy and inviting atmosphere. The servers were also magnificent and welcoming. The food is very reasonably priced to me. I ordered Spicy Ramen, Sweetheart roll and Kami salad. My main reason for this review is to say thank you for the hospitality and care. After returning to pick up my food that was ordered I realized I locked my keys in my car and had to wait for AAA. They allowed me to wait in their warm restaurant, offered me green tea and a phone charger(since my phone was dying). I am ever so thankful and grateful for that gesture🥹. I will be returning to enjoy my next meal here just off of that warmth and compassion alone 🙏🏽.
A colleague recommended a different Ramen restaurant but the C rating made us look elsewhere. We found Konoha Yakitori Ramen and Sushi House and had a fabulous experience. We tried the lamb chops, beef grilled trio, the Tokyo Chicken Ramen and the Tan Tan. The broth was rich and flavorful and the added spice in the Tokyo Ramen was perfect. The portions are enough for leftovers. We will visit again.
Really delicious! Found on google, trusted the reviews! My daughter wanted ramen and I wanted sushi and this establishment was perfect! Came sound 8:30 on a Saturday night and it was really busy but we were sat quickly and our food came faster than expected! I had the salmon avocado roll and rainbow roll and my daughter got the tonkotsu ramen with gyoza and miso soup as apps. The servers were super attentive to my daughter’s sesame allergy and made sure not to cook her ramen with sesame oil. Everything was delicious! I also got the lamb chop bc #protein!
Such a lovely and intimate ramen and sushi restaurant that has really captured my heart. The Salmon Sushi roll was delicious, fresh, and buttery and came in a big serving for lunch. I also had the seaweed salad as a perfect green accompaniment. The lunch specials are delightful and carefully put together to satisfy a hungry stomach. I adore the well-designed space, especially also the mural of Mountain Fuji. The staff is very attentive and super-friendly. Can’t wait for my next visit.
What a wonderful place. Ever since Naruto ramen closed, I’ve wanted to find another place in park slope to give me that tan tan ramen deliciousness. They delivered. It’s great. It could’ve been spicier though as I asked for spicy. I think they were being careful with me. The broth was very rich. The noodles were great. I do miss Naruto ramen’s chahan and I wish they had it as well. I know. I’m thinking too much of the past, but just noting that if they were to ever have a pork fried rice dish in that vein, I’d be all for it. Glad I can go to a spot in park slope if I’m ever visiting and hungry for some ramen.
Okkayyy!! Here we go!! 🚨Hidden gem alert 🚨 sound the alarms!! FPV: FOOD PRICE VIBES FOOD: Classic salmon: 10/10 Fresh yummy easy great Hamachi jalapeño 10/10 Easy, money , no complaints Yakitori: chicken, beef, pork, I ordered a bunch! A must have is the pork neck!! Super tender, tasty and yummy! PRICE Price is perfect! You can literally get yakitori sticks for like three bucks and the qualities is amazing and the taste is amazing. Sushi is super well priced and super fresh. What can be bad. Now the the VIBES: We were treated like royalty extra sauces And they even had us try the pork neck for free. They wanted us to try and they said it was their favourite one. Just so kind and would be an easy spot for casual dinner or any day of the week
Staff are very friendly, food is okay. Yakitori is so so, grill temp is not high enough so both the beef tough and chicken meatball were over cooked inside while soggy outside. Chicken skin was cooked right, but I wish it had a bit more flavor, maybe teriyaki source or sth sweet & salty. The karaage have bones, I’ve tried karaage many times in nyc and this is the first time I got one with bones, not sure which js authentic. The batter was right, light and crispy, but again chicken was over cooked and try. Ramen was the best among all we ordered, and above average in nyc. Cons are the egg tasted very blend, maybe did not marinated overnight the chashu was on the over cooked side and a bit chewing, and I don’t like the red ginger in the soup (and it is an uncommon ramen topping in other places in nyc) so ended up scooping them all out before eating.
Really enjoyed our meal here everyone was very nice and helpful food was chill and tasty love that i can get good sushi along with a good bowl of ramen will definetly be back. <3
Good vibes and friendly staff. They forgot about an order but were very prompt and responsive to getting it out asap. Karaage and ramen are really satisfying and priced fairly. Wasn't a big fan of the sushi or sashimi though - pretty standard
Konoha is a solid spot for a dinner. The takoyaki was really good, crispy on the outside and soft inside. I wish they offered a cheese version or even a plain one, but it was still great. The ramen was good, not my favorite of all time, but definitely enjoyable enough. I wish that the ramen was a bit more rich though. The restaurant is a bit small and gets busy quickly, yet the service was on point. Our server was friendly and checked in just enough without being overbearing.
Great food, but we were urged to leave after 30 minutes even though we wanted to order more food and drink because there was a line to get in.
